So I recently watched the movie Dope and I've been into the resurgence of a lot of 90's fashion trends, so I thought a retro RP sounded fantastic now that it's summer and I have some free time. I'm thinking late 80's to late 90's, somewhere in there.
These are the visuals that are kind of inspiring me at the mo.
I have a few plots, so you guys tell me which sounds interesting!
Idea 1:
Best friends in a small city, the kind to hit all the usual hangout spots, the way you see characters doing in old sitcoms. Late teens to mid twenties. This could be used in something mundane, like the characters adjusting to growing up, or something a little more action packed, like the characters witnessed a crime and now have to beat the bad guys.
Idea 2:
Employees at a mall/supermarket/something like that have to learn to get along as well as fend off creepy customers, bitchy coworkers, and a boss who seems to know more than he lets on.
Idea 3:
A haunted arcade game gets an arcade shut down. A group of friends sneak in to play one last time before saying goodbye to their longtime hangout spot only to make contact with the ghost and take it upon themselves to help the spirit find rest.
