NOTE TO ALL: Whoops! I screwed up that last post (I missed where Bren had gone after Nivi, Luna, and Bria to see what was going on outside the Adventurers' Wagon). I have edited the post to include Bren. =)
 
So, does this mean that we are going to be able to use our own rolls in the game now? I like the idea of having the power in my own hand to post a roll.
 
I do too. I can't wait for this to be implemented into Hosted Projects (like ours) instead of only Dice Roleplay.

All I want is a system where I can verify rolls and with a little bit of adaptation, it looks like this will do the trick. This Dice Roller seems to take up a lot of room in a post, so (talking with Kaerri here) I thought perhaps we could put the Dice Roller results inside of spoilers. This does not seem to be possible (because the results cannot be edited). So, Kaerri brought up another solution - we put the results in a new thread here and then we link our actions to said posts. This way, the Dice Rolling Thread gets cluttered up, not our IC or OOC thread. =)

Your thoughts?
 
From what I have seen in my experiments, the results of the die roller is in its own little spoiler that you have to click on to see, making it nice and tidy. But, once the Hosted Projects boards have access to this system, we can post the rolls in the OOC board if you'd like.
 
Again, my first thought was "we could put the Dice Roller results inside of spoilers." If you've gotten it to work on a Dice Roleplay, I don't see why it wouldn't work in a Hosted Project. =)
 
If you did want to go with a dice roller thread, we can put it in Dice Extra Pages for now and have it moved into the HP when it's time.
 
That would work, depending on how fast we all want/need to be able to make our own rolls.
 
I'm hoping we can get things rolling (hehehe) in the next few days for HPs, so it shouldn't be too long.

I don't follow. Can the Dice Roller be used in a spoiler or not?

If the answer is yes, no extra thread is necessary.
 
I can't test it of course, but I believe Sherwood just implied that the dice roller actually comes wrapped in spoiler. As in, it has a spoiler inbuilt into it. So no room for concern, if so *woof*
 
This is correct. The die roll comes hidden in a tab that you have to click on in order to see the result.
 
I believe you can test it in your Private Workshop now.
