Adam gave a full belly laugh shaking his head at his new crime friend. "Awe, but at least we would be famous. remembered. Though not for the best of reasons I suppose." He gave another chuckle shaking his head. "Alright fine, we don't have to do my idea. As long as they get lit and the teachers run like stupid chickens I am happy with anything." Closing his jacket, hiding the goods from prying eyes. While the adrenaline rushed through his body he didn't want to lose it just because of a nosy kid.

Discretely, Adam gave Xavier a few of the stolen fireworks before hearing his plan. While Adam hadn't remembered giving him the leader of this operation he considered the plan and dubbed it to be the best way to get the peoples attention. The idea of the sprinklers going off and causing everyone to get drenched with cold water also was a perk. imagining all the snob girls running around like the world coming to an end--Well that was an even better view.

"You can count on me." Adam finally spoke he turned on his heel heading into the direction he was instructed to go.

He walked with purpose, his head down but his eyes scanned the area, detecting the eyes of a few teachers who seemed to be watching him. He gave a bit of a smirk there way, liking to live dangerously, before moving back into the crowd.

Once in position he waited. His hands fidgeted with his lighter, impatiently he waited for his cue.

When it came he moved to action.

Being a bit of a trouble maker, he knew how to use fireworks probably to well. The water went off and he was able to quickly light the goods within moments he set them off. He kept the ends dry, barely able to get out of the way before they hit him. But it worked and the colored fire sped into the air. The cries of excitement, fear and confusion from the students as the beautiful display was set off. He took a step back waiting to see what the others did.

"He's over there!" He heard someone cry towards the teacher.

Shit.

They had found him.

Hurrying he ran off towards the exit, it seemed like he would have to leave before he was actually caught this time. Hopefully, his complacence was having a bit better luck then he was. At times like this he wished he knew how do that jumping thing like him. But now was not the time to be day dreaming, with the threat of getting caught, while exhilarating, Adam dashed towards the door. Finding it rather comforting to have the crowd to disappear into. He supposed he wouldn't get the chance to thank his accomplice anytime soon.

Vivienne wore a hard smile, both chagrin and appreciative of Aivree's promise to land a sucker on Hunter's face. Knowing Aivree, her small bony fists would do more damage than Vivienne's own opened palm, but she convinced herself that she was above that. (Not that it kept her from refusing Aivree's offer nor stopped the satisfaction she would feel when she does see a bright blue-purple shiner on the male's accentuated handsome face)

"We're in masks anyways," Vivienne laughed, walking arms linked with Aivree to the dance floor, "No one would recognize us regardless!" She was grateful for that at least. With her identity masked, the possibilities of getting caught with theft and inappropriate usage of fireworks were kept to a bare minimum. The only thing that gave her away was the dress and mask the wore---both which she could easily dispose of later.

The shriek which sliced through the open air, ending with the spray of water sprinkles, made Vivienne whirl towards the the direction it came from. Through the panicking bodies which scrambled and yelled, pushing her along as they bolted for the exit over the calm shouts of the teachers nearby, Vivienne's eyes sought the one person she could think to do such a harebrained schemes. Water plastered curled blonde locks to her cheeks and she failed to see any signs of the stranger she had played with just moments ago.

She shook her head, a secret-filled smile on her lips. It seemed like he, whoever it was underneath that mask, couldn't be left alone for a second without causing some new scene. Curiosity and relief set in her stomach as she raised a hand, cupping water droplets in her palm as small rivulets of water ran down her back and neck. Looks like this year was going to be a whole lot more interesting.

Aivree's laugh was contagious and while the unexpected shock washed away, Vivienne found herself giggling as well. "It's a good thing I wore waterproof make up," Vivienne said blandly, pushing her wet bangs back with her hand. The ballroom was nearly empty now with everyone seeking dry refuge outside, and to the blonde's surprise, music was still playing. She swayed a bit, taking long careful steps to avoid slipping and falling, humming to herself before inevitably leaving the ballroom with Aivree.

The night had ended, maybe not with the bang Vivienne had half expected it to end but with a shower of light, reminding her of the rainbow at the end of every storm.

Let's get the show on the road.

Senior Year 'Save The World' Project
Can we all say what a night? Fireworks and sprinklers. Talk about an oxymoron. While everyone has been talking about that night and the masterminds behind it, we have better things to worry about. Congratulations! You're done with the first semester. The beginning of the second semester will include the Senior Year Project. You will be traveling to Japan for three whole days. The first two days will require you to volunteer to help the less fortunate by working at different places. On the third day, you will have the whole day to explore the city before heading to the airport at 7 PM sharp. So what are you waiting for? Let’s get to it!

Setting: Meet out in the front of campus at 9 AM to take the bus to the airport.

”I live for the danger.“ - X

Hanging out with Aivree is much like playing on a seesaw with its ups and downs. Right now, he was way way way down. What was happening? Only god would know at this point. Blowing a breath of frustration, he closed the mini fridge in his room. With a coke in his hand at eight in the morning, he sat on his bed against the white painted wall. Directly beside his bed was his new roommate who was only separated by a nightstand between them. Xavier eyed him. School started again just a week ago with everyone coming back from Winter Break. Aivree was acting jittery and he couldn’t pinpoint the problem but her excuses to be distance herself away went from normal:

“Hey Aiv, wanna hit the burger joint later tonight?”

“Can’t. I have to study.”

“Cool, next time then,” he shrugged, patting her on the shoulder.

to officially laughable.

“Hey Masters is hosting a party at his dorm, you coming?”

“…I’m dyeing my hair.”

“You are? At midnight?” he frowned.

He was then pulled away by Hunter who announced that he was getting lucky tonight. The only other time was a couple months ago after their annual auction. What happened over winter break? He took another sip of his coke. Women. He’d never understand them. Someone ought to make a playbook rule by rule because he was out of ideas. When Xavier’s alarm rang once more, he threw his phone at Adam.

“Dude, get up. How long are you planning to sleep for?” He went to retrieve his phone as the other male stirred awake. The half naked male in his black slacks decided to leave his roommate alone, heading to the kitchen to grab breakfast. Xavier immediately noticed a certain blonde, already up looking perfect.

“There’s my favorite girl,” he grinned, approaching Vee from behind. He maneuvered around her, opening the fridge to grab the carton of milk. Xavier left his can of coke on the counter next to the sink. If he couldn’t get any answers of out Aiv, then he would go for the blonde who knew everything about everyone. He couldn't alarm Vivienne, not if he wanted answers from her. Be discreet, aim low.

“Hey, so what’s up with Aivree recently? She’s been out of her element.” Xavier reconnoiter as he poured himself Frosted Flakes for breakfast.

It was a shame, Adam didn't get the joy of giving his characteristic smile towards the teachers as they threatened to suspend him from the school. How was that the case? Well, apparently they all sucked at gym. Unable to catch him in the crowd of people--and those that saw his face never came foreword when they where asked who set off the fireworks. They had questioned him sure, but he never admitted to it and he never gave the name of the foxy blonde who had helped him with the first heist and the second one either. This was more fun, though Adam did enjoy watching people threaten him.

Specially when all he wanted was to get caught and set out from this God forsaken school that he was in.

But no such luck.

Now he was having to travel across the world, for only three days, help some folks and then come back. Sure, they got to hang and do whatever the hell they wanted for one day but it was hardly a worth while trip. At least that was how Adam saw it. Pissed him off.

The sleep he was going to miss, ugh. At least the food would be good. Japanese food was pretty good, he had traveled once there before if he remembered right. The trip was a blur though, so he could have been wrong about the whole ordeal.

The death sound of an alarm had Adam tossing over just in time for a phone to hit him square in the face. He swore throwing the phone back at Xav, his new roommate. "Piss off. If I can sleep, I will sleep." he grumbled tossing the covers over his head just to hear his roommate leave the room. Funny how the two of them had ended up together rooming--after all they pulled off the heist of the school year together.

He smirked, it was something that was for sure.

Sighing to himself he sat only for a bit longer before he decided it was probably time to get up before someone hurried to get him up. If they pulled off his covers though? Well, he slept in his birthday suit for once. Getting up he got dressed rather quickly, knowing full well they would have to be on time if they where going to catch that damn plane on time.

He moved from his room, seeing Xavier and a blonde talking in the kitchen. He entered the bathroom just in time to see the short brown haired chick leave giving him a dirty look. After exchanging a smile towards her he ducked inside taking a shower quickly.

Aivree Lanzone

Perhaps it was wrong, the way that Aivree was treating Xavier.

She knew avoiding him the way she was, that he was going to catch her. And the moment he did, what would she say?

'You remember that chick you had your hands all over? Yeah, that was me? Don't believe me? I still had a hickey from you for weeks!'

Yeah, that wouldn't be weird at all. Hell, she knew very well it was him. It all made since when he came back to the dorm room that night and she saw him in the same get up as the guy she had made out with. Course, she was still safe. But her excuses where getting lamer and lamer as time went on. Washing her hair? Studying?

Well, if anything good came out of Aivree's teenage desires it was that Vee and her had really connected and had become even better friends over the whole thing. At least, that was what Aivree thought. Vee had been her mother hen trying to get her to face the fear or just hanging out.

It worked well for her, she just hoped that it would stay like this.

But seeing Xavier every time they where in the dorm made her stomach hurt and the feelings came crashing down. She remembered the hot kisses, his hands all over her body. It was hard. Almost to hard.

A groan that resembled that of a zombie left Aivree's mouth as she finally got out of bed. At least she wasn't the last one out of bed. The new guy, Adam seemed to still be in bed which had her rushing to take a shower first and get ready for the trip. A dumb trip, that she wasn't really wanting to go on. It meant a plane ride with Xavier with no place to hide. But she would maybe take a sleeping pill or maybe fake sick. Anything to make it so she wouldn't have to talk to much.

The hot water washed Aivree's worries away for at least a moment. After that she jumped out, dressed in the God awful uniform and blow dryed her hair. Thanks to the ball, she had done one thing different. She started to wear a bit more make up. With the help of the beautiful Vee, she helped in making herself seem...more confident. At least a little.

After getting her face on Aivree left the bathroom seeing Adam come her way. He gave that dumb grin before jumping into the bathroom after her. It was just in time to hear the question that Xavier asked Vee.

"What do you mean 'out of my element?" Aivree asked her hands on her hips her eyes narrowed. Course, Aivree knew what he had meant, but she wasn't about to tell him her reasoning. "I'm perfectly fine." she grumbled stepping over to the coffee machine, pouring herself a cup. Black and ready to drink. She sipped it letting the bitter taste slowly wake her up from the restless sleep.

It was absolutely nerve-wrecking but seven weeks later, she was finally leaving the crazy life behind. Goodbye roommate who did her science experiments at three in the morning. Goodbye roommate who screams in her sleep. Goodbye roommate who left her mess everywhere. And hello new dorm! With only a duffel bag and a luggage in hand, Karlie was absolutely ecstatic. She only received the dorm number and her room number which meant she had no idea who her new housemates were but nothing was going to dampen her day. The short hair blonde grinned at the new door.

Wow I’m so nervous, I’m sweating. Ew, my hands are sweaty. Okay, okay. No handshakes. Just open the door!

Karlie twisted the door open and closed it behind her. “Hey guys!” she chirped, her left free hand shot up to give a short wave as a greeting. Since Arlington Academy consisted of small wealthy or gifted children, Karlie had almost everyone memorized. The blonde was Vivienne Andrews, her female crush. The cropped short hair female was Aivree Lanzone, the artist everyone raves about. And of course, can’t forget the only person who she knew because he hangs around with the dbs (the douchbags), Xavier Lefebvre. Wow, what a crew. It’s like they came out of a supermodel shoot and she’s here for an autograph session.

While they met each other before, Karlie isn’t particular close to any of them but she knew Aivree quite well from their previous classes. When she took in everyone's presence, that's when her brain decided to shut down.

“H-h-h-hope I’m not interrupting anything.” Fuck, tall people are so intimidating. Where the hell did they get their milk from? “T-there has just been a change in rooming so I’m the new roommate in room 9.”

Breathe Karlie, breathe. Oh god, there’s a gangster living amongst them. The moment she saw the tattooed male stepping out of the shower, she wondered if one of them took in a homeless male from the streets. He looked like bad news. Hot bad news. Must stay away from hot bad news.

When he was out of sight, she turned to the others with a smile.

“Hey, Karlie right?” Xavier held out his hand for a handshake and Karlie swore her heart fell out of her chest. Damn attractive people and their ability to freeze her brain cells. She ended up staring at his hands until it dropped to his sides.

“Uhhhh…”

“I knew your name was Carol.”

“Wait. What? No! I mean no. You got it right the first time. I’m Karlie. You were in my pre-Calculus class. And failing too. Miserably.”

She swallowed. “Ha. God I just said that out loud didn’t I?” Xavier raised his eyebrow at her before laughing.

“Calm down, no one here bites.” Xavier paused, looking over at Aivree. “Hold that thought, I might know someone know does,” he winked, nudging the short hair female.

Oh lord. I'm living with a gangster wannabe and a kinky female. At least they're nice to look at. Optimism Karlie. Optimism.

The events which took place after the masquerade ball were plentiful. Vivienne had purposely delved herself in just about anything to keep herself busy. It gave her a good reason to keep Hunter off her mind and there was no better revenge than seeing the girl he lead on further and further from his reach. Every time they passed each other, an attempt for conversation was always shortly cut off by a cheery wave of the hand. Sometimes if she was feeling particularly cruel, she'd ignore his greetings all together. Being housemates made it difficult to avoid him but Vivienne was never one to stay cooped in her rooms for long.

For once, this week, she was present in the dorm's living rooms, prepping herself a vanilla cappuccino in the kitchen. Hunter had slept over at some other girl's dorms (Veronica? Angelica? She pitied them.) and Vivienne gave herself the liberty to lock the front door, leaving the male locked out from both his dorm and the main living quarters they shared. She could have the quiet morning to herself and found herself smiling smugly into her steaming mug.

"You're up early," she smiled in reply to Xavier. Her brows raised as she moved herself out of the kitchen but remained standing near the counter. "Aiv? I thought you would know best," she mused, Cheshire-cat grin on her face, hinting that she knew more. Of course, naturally she knew what was going on. Aivree had told her much since the ball and it only took an imaginative mind to fill in the spaces. She would never betray her friend by telling him her secrets... maybe not at a price.

If anyone knew Vivienne well, they would know she's a sucker for making bets. Gambling was one of her best and worst flaws. God forbid she ever stepped into a casino.

She raised her mug, sipping the contents in her cup. 'Speak of the devil,' she thought as Aivree made her entrance. It was still 8:30 AM and Vivienne had 30 mins to get dressed and ready. She was still in her sleepwear: a white strapped top and boy shorts. An outfit which could be considered too revealing for any other girl who wasn't Vivi. She was comfortable with her body and she had wore less fabric in front of more people before.

The doorknob rattled and turned, catching Vivienne's attention. She was certain Hunter had left his key in his room so there was no way he could've entered. Instead of Hunter, a shorter, chirpy girl stood in her place. Vivienne didn't recognize her, nor could she pinpoint the name of the girl.

'Karlie,' she made a mental reminder, setting her now-empty cup of cappuccino on the counter. A small chuckle fell from her as she watched the awkward exchange between Xavier and Karlie.

"Welcome to your new dorm. I guess you're hear to replace Eva, aren't you?" Vivienne greeted with a sigh. Evangeline had been one of Vivienne's first and best friends in Arlington Academy and her roommate for the past few months. Half way through the semester, the brunette was recognized for her designs and offered to attend an even more prestigious fashion school on scholarship. Naturally, Evangeline had accepted, all with Vivienne's blessing. She was happy for her friend but greatly missed her as well.

Her sigh could've easily been mistaken as something else but Vivienne hadn't noticed. Instead, she walked herself back to her room, waving a hand at Karlie for her to follow. "Your room's here," she said, "You could leave your stuff here first and set up after we come back from the STW Project." Vivienne turned, this time letting her eyes size up the blonde before her, "You are a senior too right? Best hurry if you want to catch the bus," This time, Vivienne smiled.

”I don't do complicated. Sorry ladies.“ - X
“What can I say?” he shrugged, his demeanor confident. A bite of Frosted Flakes but his eyes never left hers. An unwavering strong look was met with a subtle smug smirk. She was upping her game. Damn it, Andrews. Give me a break here. “She slips out of my hand all the time. Like a worm. I need a Aivree’s brain dissection book.” It was rather obvious that Vivienne knew what was up but was playing oblivious. “What is it going to take for you to tell me, Vee?” Another bet? A dare? He was about to suggest one but they were quickly interrupted by Aivree announcing her presence.

“Aw, c’mon Aiv, I didn’t mean it like that,” Xavier came over with an ‘I’m-sorry-but-not-really’ face along with spoonfuls of cereal. He placed his empty bowl into the sink. It didn’t take long at all for the morning peace to fall in shambles with a new blonde making her entrance and introduction. Being the friendly type, he automatically greeted her and found the whole thing amusing. She seemed awkward, shy, and a bit klutzy all at once. To ease the atmosphere, Xavier threw Aivree under the bus.

“Calm down, no one here bites.” Xavier paused, looking over at Aivree. “Hold that thought, I might know someone know does,” he winked, his head turned to the only brunette around. As Vivienne charmed her way into the blonde’s head, Xavier focused his scrutiny elsewhere. “So did you already pack?” he asked approaching Aivree in rather large strides. Abruptly stopping in front of her, he took a hold of her cup of coffee. He slowly bent down, his hands covering hers. Xavier tilted the steaming coffee towards him, placing his lips on the other side of the rim. With a smirk, he took a sip.

“I’m an annoying piece of shit, aren’t I?” he grinned, knowing that his presence was making her jittery and awkward. She was avoiding him. Again. But this time, she wasn’t going to get away.

When he was done, Xavier released his grasp and backed away slightly with a yawn as his arms stretched skyward. His attention suddenly shifted elsewhere realizing they were missing someone. “Where’s that dumb roommate of mine?” he inquired, his head peeking out of the kitchen to take a quick glance at Karlie following Vivienne into their room. He checked his phone. They had only sometime before the the bus was going to leave them stranded and he’d be damned if he failed this project.

“Better hurry Lanzone, don’t want to be leaving you behind,” he grinned over his shoulder before he headed back to his shared room not before jokingly kicking the bathroom door obnoxiously. “Man, hurry up or else I’m going to join you!” Xavier yelled.

While others were probably already packed and ready to go, he wasn’t at least a bit ready. His duffle bag laid dismally on the floor, half zipped open. He threw it on his head, tossing in some dress shirts. Xavier opened up the black drawers, throwing in a few of his favorite pair of jeans and boxers. Once he was done, he finished it up with more toiletries, things he needed, and everything else, he was going to buy in Japan. They were only gone for a couple of days anyways.

Adam allowed the scorching hot water to drip and pool at his feet, he stared at the ceiling considering if this whole life was really worth it. If he was honest, he was hungover. At least a bit. he could use a smoke. He could use a bed that wasn't right beside the jokster of the century. His own space would be the best. But that wasn't about to happen.

But if he was about to wish for anything it would be to not have to go on this God forsaken trip to Japan for a stupid project. Sure, traveling to another Country was going to be fun. But was it really? Wasn't like they would be able to do anything actually fun. School project and shit. Perhaps he could duck out and get 'lost' that could work.

He toyed with the thought a moment a plan appearing in his mind before he realized he wasn't going to be able to swing it. If he got caught he wouldn't be able to really hide. It was Japan after all. He was tall. Oh that was a bad thought.

At the bad stereotype thought he shut the water off stepping out of the shower, wrapping a towel around his waist gathering his clothing in his arms before hearing Xavier bang on the door. He opened it just in time to hear Xavier's proposal.

"While I am charmed, I don't think you could handle me in bed. Or shower in this case." It was a joke. This early in the morning? Perhaps Adam was in a better mood then he wanted to let on. If this trip wasn't going to be the best in the world, at least he wasn't going to have to spend hours in a boring classroom with students that had their noses so far up the teachers asses that they wouldn't even be able to smell the shit.

The people here disgusted him.

"
All yours." he sighed moving from the bathroom, he moved towards the bedrooms making sure to go into the right room, not the girls. That was what he thought he was doing anyways. With a white towel in his hand he rubbed his hair dry hoping to get at least some of the droplets out of the mop hair he had atop his head.

It was then he realized he was not in his room. For one, it smelt to nice. Perfume, feminine. Much like the blonde he danced with the night of the Ball he 'set a flame.' Taking a moment he glanced around before his dark orbs fell on the two ladies talking. While he, Adam, stood in nothing but a towel.

"Well, seems like I am in the wrong room." he said in a gruff voice. "Who's the shorter haired blonde. Seems...cheeky." he spoke eyeing her up a moment. Shy, cheeky smiling? Newbie most likely. Cute though, in an odd kind of way. "Small too. Hell you're even shorter then Aivree. And she's a little elf." He took on step closer measuring with his hand from the top of his head to his chest, not caring much for space.

Adam never gave a shit about what people thought anyways.

"At least I didn't drop my towel first like I normally do." He flashed a half smile to the both of them. "I'll leave now, sorry Viv." he turned heading out the door waving a hand lightly towards the both of them hurrying to his bedroom deciding it was time to get dressed. And pack.

Yeah, he didn't need much. Passport, wallet. two shirts one pair of pants he wore. It was only for a few hours why pack more then the essentials.

Aivree Lanzone

Only one swore word mumbled under Aivree's breath. It wasn't completely directed towards anyone particular. er eyes glanced to Xavier for a moment before back to her comforting cup of coffee. Nope, no one in particular. With the door opening, Aivree had expected to See Hunter walking inside with a head held high, strutting around because he got laid by some new bimbo last night. Instead it wasn't Hunter at all.

Far from it, a small female instead. Blonde, perky and cheerful. To cheerful, Aivree almost hated her instantly but she blamed that initial thought on not having enough coffee in her system to deal with new people. After a few more sips of her hot beverage, Aivree finally took a better look at the female. Karlie. It clicked, she had a few classes with this chippy. She was nice enough, why the hatred boiling so close to the surface was anyone's guess. "Charmed." Aivree spoke as her hello, or mumbled.

Xavier and Vee seemed to have the greeting under control anyways. Coffee, she had coffee focus on the coffee and the day would get better. Taking a deep breath, inhaling the bitter flavor allowing it to renew the grumpy old hag of a soul that Aivree held deep inside, turning it into a less of a bitch of a women. She hoped anyways.

That was, until Xavier commented on her biting. With a scoff, she rolled her eyes. "Wouldn't you like to know if I bite or not." Turning her back to the new girl Aivree went for another cup of coffee. It took her less time to get more then it had to drink the whole cup. With her new cup of joe she leaned against the counter trying to focus on it but instead she heard the strides of Xaiver. The alarms in her mind warned her to move but she was to slow this time. "Yeah just need to get my..." she trailed off looking up to him, catching his dark eyes as he stared down at her. What a fucking green giant he was.

"..Passport." She cleared her throat agreeing with him, nodding his head. "You're never not going to a pain in my ass are you?" she finally spoke but just when Aivree finally thought that she could escape from his side he went and took her coffee. Not in the manner of stealing it. Nope. That would have been better then what he did.

His face, his hands over hers. Shit, why did he do this to her? Did he know she liked him? was this all some kind of plow to mess with her mind? If it was, hell it was working to well.

"He's showering." Aivree growled turning her back to him and taking the rest of her second cup of coffee as s hot before almost slamming the cup into the kitchen sink. Sighing she stuttered past him heading into her room looking at her duffel bag that was actually only half packed. Packing for a few days was harder then she thought. Under pack, and she wouldn't have been prepared. Over pack and she would be one of those girls.

"Fuck this whole trip." Aivree rubbed her temples wishing this whole thing was just a bad dream. While the idea of going to Japan was exciting, Aivree had never been there before. The beautiful scenery, she knew was going to inspire the artist in her, but the little time spent there wasn't going to be worth it.

No matter, she packed her art stuff at least a bit along with the necessities. Hopefully, the tip would work out.

Now she needed to find something to make her sleep the whole trip, if she had to deal with the flirting or not flirting from Xavier she was going to need to be in some kind of coma.

Karlie turned to the other blonde and with a nod, she answered, “Yeah, that’s me.” She noticed the sigh but before she could think too much of it, Karlie was signaled to follow to her new room. She gave the other duo a quick glance before squirreling her way into her new room and out of the living room. “Thanks Vivienne, right? I didn’t get your name wrong?” she asked. She stood there, taking it all in. The whole move, the upcoming trip, and it was crazy to think she was going to be living with the Vivienne Andrews many talked about. With the reminder that they had to leave soon, Karlie quickly threw her luggage onto the floor and shoved it underneath an empty bed which she assumed is hers. Her duffel bag was all packed for Japan and if she was honest, she was extremely excited for the trip. She already made plans on her phone, marking the best restaurants to eat and sight seeing areas in Tokyo.

Japan was most likely to be snowing just like England but at least they didn’t have to wear their uniform. If there was no trip, she could bundle up and sleep forever while reciting the lecture in her dreams. The silence that ensued was quickly filled by an unannounced male who barged into their room.

She figured she lost her breath the moment she saw the towel barely covering him. “Wow, that’s a pretty skimpy towel,” Karlie chuckled nervously. It was obvious with the odd rise in her pitch. He’s tall, handsome as hell. With Vivienne near him, it was almost like some type of portrait and she was the photographer.

He didn’t help at all, coming closer and she was slowly getting a better view of that towel and his crotch. What a morning. Normally, Karlie would have been offended by height reference. She wasn’t small. I’m still growing, thank you very much. Better yet, what the heck did you eat? You’re abnormally tall.

All of those spiteful remarks were caught in her throat as she was nearly eye level to his groin. Vivienne didn’t seem to mind it too much yet Karlie knew that if she just tugged that towel a little, maybe trip and fall, it would have come right off and reveal all the hidden glory. That temptation was fought against her sanity and her sanity won. His chastity was left intact. Good for him.

Why was god testing her at 8 in the morning? Feel free to drop your towel. No one is against it. I surely am not.

“Okay! Nice meeting you too! Bye! Oh, FYI! The towel is loose! I can tighten it, I mean — you tighten it. Oh god.” Karlie rambled, realizing she shot herself in the foot. She hated how nervous she got around new people or extremely attractive people. The smaller blonde turned to Vivienne with a curious question. “So, do the guys in here parade around in towels? Or is that one in particular a nudist at heart?” she whispered the last part, not wanting to offend him even though he wasn’t anywhere near them at all.

(Yes, I am aware that this is long overdue. I hope we can still keep this going? I really hope I didn't end up killing things for everyone ; - ; I'm really sorry if I did.)

It only takes a glance to size someone up. It takes two to tell if they're good in bed. Vivienne did a double take, grinning with teeth as Karlie confirmed her name.

"Mm, yes. But my friends call me Vee," she answered casually, "But you can call me anytime."

One could never tell when Vivienne was joking. The laugh in her voice blurred her implications.

When Adam made his appearance, in all his naked glory, even Vivienne had to raise her brows. She whistled lowly but had enough self control to let her eyes trail over Adam just enough to be considered interested and not obsessed. His sleeve of tattoos fascinated her more than the tone of his body. If given the time, Vivienne would love to sit him down to examine each one, preferably tracing a dainty finger around each drawing and pattern. Aivree should paint this man someday.

Correction: Aivree must paint Adam someday.

It'll be a waste if she didn't.

"It's only the wrong room if you don't want to be here," Vivienne comments, moving to pack in the last remaining toiletries into her suitcase. Contrary to what other people thought of her (a girl with excessive material belongings whose indefinitely prone to over-pack), Vivienne fell in the latter category as an underpacker. She hated carrying heavy things (not that she does if she could help it. It doesn't take too much to convince someone to carry her bags for her but by senior year, most of the juniors have caught onto her antics. A shame, really.) and was much more of a 'go with the flow' kind of person. Planning wasn't her forte but flexibility was. If worse comes to worst, she'd simply by whatever she needs in the country itself. Granted that she'll come back with more luggage.

Hearing Karlie's flail of words brought out a repressed laugh. She snorted as she changed out of her sleepwear and into her school uniform. Her waved locks were pulled out from the collar and loosely tied in a messy high ponytail.

"Adam, a nudist? That would be entertaining, but no," Vivienne answered with a chuckle, "You're just lucky."

The lock on her suitcase closed with a snap. Another spritz of perfume, a slap of lip gloss, and Vivienne Andrews was set and ready.

The airplane was warm and stuffy in comparison to the cold chill of the empty airport. Snow had caused a few flights to be delayed but luckily, none cancelled. The seats in the airplane were strange. Instead of going in rows of two which all faced one direction, the seats were arranged similarly to a train, where two seats are facing another pair of two seats. It reminded Vivienne oddly of the private jet her father would fly on.

She sighed and sat back in her seat as the pilot announced that they'd be taking off shortly. It'll be an 11 hour flight before they reach Japan.

Eleven. Whole. Hours.

”Sometimes, it’s better to fight for what you want even if you lose than to back off and lose what you want to fight for.“ - X

The airplane ride was pleasant, or even peaceful maybe for anyone else but a man over six feet with no leg room. For Xavier, it was eleven hours of fucking hell. He didn’t know why he couldn’t book his own airplane ticket, for god’s sake, first class would have made this flight a different story. As if someone was playing a very humorous prank on them, Adam and Xavier got the two lucky spots, sitting right across from each other. Every time he stretched, the male was at risk of playing footsies with his roommate. Karlie was right beside them and every time one of them grunted or almost cursed at each other, the cropped hair blonde frowned every time. Her bottom lip bitten as if she was withholding a sigh, her lids fluttered close and she would hug her legs together, resting her right cheek against her knees. He would utter whispers of apologies and he could tell she was uncomfortable being surrounded by the two males. Luckily the other seat across from Karlie was taken by Enrique, a classmate that he didn’t know personally. That lucky bastard slept the entire plane ride.

Aivree got a lucky break, she and Vee were sitting elsewhere and being vastly shorter than the two males, they probably didn’t have to kick each other every time one needed to get up.

The eleven hours of suffering finally came to a close when he felt the airplane descending with the overhead speaker requesting for all travels to put on their seatbelt. The seatbelt signed turned on and soon, they landed and he could get out of this claustrophobia inducing piece of machine.

The moment they arrived at the Narita airport, Xavier knew he and Adam were standing out like eyesores with old and young alike staring at them like aliens from another planet. Jesus Christ. This is going to be a long trip.

With the duffle bag in hand, Xavier squeezed in to what seemed like a massively group huddle similar to football players gathering around listening to their coach before the game. The proctors, many who were paid translators, began reiterating what the principal told them over email. “We have already sent out an email regarding the housing and train. The closest hotel to our area couldn’t accommodate everyone and thus half of you will be staying at airbnb but of course, everything here is an experience you’ll never have anywhere else. I want you all to use this opportunity to learn from the people, learn the culture, and grow as an individual. Be open minded to the places, the hospitality, and at the end of the day, you’ll become a better person for it. You can find the currency exchange area in that corner over there,” the blonde hair proctor pointed to the booth in the corner with a line already.

“I know you all are old enough so I shouldn’t say it but I will. Don’t go wandering off without letting us know and attendance will be checked off.” The students were then escorted to the line and surprisingly, he noticed how efficient things were getting done. Even without an ounce of Japanese, currency exchange was easily done but there had to be at least a hundred students in line. After half an hour, it was finally his turn and he exchanged three thousand dollars, just in case.

Unfortunately, Xavier didn’t read emails, rather he just doesn’t bother to open them so imagine his surprise when Karlie announced to their group that they were the lucky few that got to stay at one. But then again, how bad could it be? They just needed a place to crash at night anyways. The moment they stepped outside to wait for the taxi, the icy wind was just unwelcome as the long line to get into the taxi.

As it turned out, the airbnb were more like apartments the school rented from the owners and the entire apartment was rented out for their class. They were all given keys and the room number which Karlie took, that female seemed to want to be in charge of everything not that Xavier cared, he hated responsibilities.

“Wow, all the cars here are so cute,” Karlie chirped, pointing out how the cars seemed smaller than the ones in Europe.

Xavier snickered, “Adam, dude can you even fit in one of those?” Not that he would either but Adam was the abnormally tall one between the two.

The moment Karlie pushed the door open, she pushed a hand out to the two males, “Watch out for the ceiling,” the shortie warned and was she right. Everything was much smaller, he was only a few inches from the ceiling and he turned to Aivree with a wry smile.

“I never thought the day I would be envious of your height,” he said as he opened every door in the apartment. There were only two bedrooms and one full size bed in one with futons set up for the other ones. Their dining room was also the living room, a small TV was propped up by a TV stand but at least the coffee colored couch seemed comfortable enough to seat at most three of them with a glass coffee table in front. Everything seemed different and smaller than their own rooms back at the dorms.

“There’s only one bathroom!” Karlie announced as she opened the sliding door that led to the changing room flourished with a white sink. The shower with a tub was the door on the right and the toilet was the door on the left. The changing room also had racks that supplied them with towels.

“Well, I don’t mind sharing showers, right Aiv?” He could feel she was still trying to avoid him and thus he switched victim. Xavier turned to Vee with a grin, “So Andrews, you ready to share a room with me? You already know I don't bite.” Plus, he needed to figure out why Aivree was acting the way she was and Vee was the only person who probably knew what was going on.

“W-well, I think you should sleep with Adam. The three of us can share a room,” Karlie pointed to Vivienne and Aivree. “I mean you’ve been sleeping with him for a while now. What’s a couple more days?”

“What are you insinuating?” Xavier cheeky smile appeared and his friends would have noticed his teasing tone was evident. But she didn’t.

“O-oh! I wasn’t making assumptions, I-I mean you guys are cute together if y-you are. I-. W-we can take the room without the bed if you guys need the bed.“ Karlie stuttered, her face flushed, realizing that she was digging a bigger hole for herself. “Oh god, I’m so thirsty. I need a drink. Excuse me,” the blonde spoke rapidly, exiting to the kitchen with the empty fridge.

“Ha, she’s funny,” Xavier laughed, “So I guess you and me again, dude?” he tilted his head to the room with just the futons. The male paused before he entered his room, saying one last thing to mess with their new housemate.

“Karlie,” he yelled out, “What can I say. I don’t need a bed for fucking.”

The sudden sound of something clattering against the floor had him smirking. This was going to be a fun trip.

Never had flying been such a pain in Aviree’s ass. She had suspected the trip wouldn't be good, with everything that happened at the dance and how she had been avoiding Xav like the plague the last few weeks, she had all suspicions that the trip was going to be bad. But 11 hours of being stuck on a small plane with nowhere really to run away too, it took a toll on her.

The only part that she got lucky was having her seat placed beside Vee and not Xav, that in itself was a gift from whatever God was watching over her for the past few days. Hopefully given that, and trying to sleep for most of the trip or watch the bad movies on the plane it wouldn’t be to bad. The trip anyways. She had been excited to see Japan, at least in some kind of way. Sure it was going to be a school trip and she was getting marked on her work, but shit like that was always around when you went to such a fancy school.

Thoughts of Xavier and the awkwardness that seemed to loom over the two of them stayed present in her mind. She tried to keep the thoughts away but that was the main cause for her terrible flight. Japan was going to be crowded, and she couldn’t keep this charade for much longer. Soon it would come out.

What then?

Not soon enough to Aivrees liking the airplane finally descended to the ground greeting it with kisses and scorching wheels. It took longer to get off the plane than anyone would have wanted but it took even longer get through the line that was to get money transferred into Yen. But soon after an hour and a half of waiting in line they had the money they needed. She took out what she could, about $1500, Aivree really didn’t want to spend too much money when she was here. Though the artist inside was screaming to go into the stores. Japan had the best art supplies, and for half the price that she could get online or even back home.

She would have to run off from the group and take a look around that was for sure.

The group of students that gathered around the teacher as she spoke about the rules and accommodations Aivree tuned her out. There was little way this few ‘guardians’ would be able to keep this many kids out of trouble. Although, the trouble makers of the group would really stick out so that was a plus for them. Adam stood tall, above most of the other students normally around the rest of people? He was going to be easy to find that was for sure. Aivree felt very much at home in this place.

“I don’t think cute is the right word for this little beetles..How the hell am I even going to sit in something like that.”
Adam grumbled looking to Karlie as she seemed to become the leader of the roommates. Ironically, they had all been chosen to be set aside in the airbnb, no problem. Meant they could go and do what they wanted with the little time they had in this part of the world. Adam had no problems with sneaking out and doing what he wanted.

He looked forward to ‘experiencing’ Japan. His way, that was the main reason they came right? To experience the culture, the sights. Well, you weren’t about to get that from being cooped up in schedule and going to tourist places. Perhaps he could take a train and see the other parts of the city.

Karlie’s warning came a second to late and Adam felt the top of his come in contact with the ceiling. Aivree laughed not making any effort to cover it up. “Fuck, can’t they build bigger buildings?” Adam growled rubbing his head.

“You just need to be more observant.” Aivree pushed past Adam joining Karlie as they took a look around what would be there home for the trip they would be taking. She rose an eyebrow. I twas small, cramped but modest. She could get used to it--if it wasn’t for the fact that she was sharing it with someone she was trying to avoid. Shit.

Hearing Xav’s comment though had her smirking a bit. His tease about her size, welcomed but with a bitter aftertaste. “Yeah, you better. Karlie and I will be the ones to be walking with our back straight this trip. Vee too. You guys just are to tall.” she shrugged grinning back to him a little before turning to place her bags down. Fuck she was tired of lugging her luggage around.

“Not my fault Russians are tall.”
Adam grumbled.

With his tease about the two of them sharing are room though, the normalcy that Aivree longed for was shot down and she frowned glaring a little towards the floor deciding to not comment. Instead she enjoyed hearing Karlie blather about Adam and Xav being ‘more than friends’. The girl seemed to speak wrong a lot, it was honestly a little cute. Flustering wasn’t something Aivree was not aware of. She did the same thing around males. Specially around her dark haired best friend.

“Well, we share a wall and this place is small...”
Adam gruffed a seductive grin spread across his face, playing along with Xavier. Placing an arm on his shoulder he brought the other male closer to him. “We better be quiet.” He winked before laughing. “Rather share this with the blonde I talked to at that Ball. No offence.” He shoved Xav slightly before moving to put his bags on the floor looking once more around the room.

“Well. I’m bored. I’m going to look around, anyone want to join me?” Adam spoke looking to each of his roommates before his eyes fell on Vee, he smirked a little.

“Maybe we should all go out or something…” Aivree spoke up before turning to look towards the kitchen. “Karlie will want to come.”

“But what to do…” Adam rubbed his chin a moment before his temples. Jet lag was a bitch. “What’s the legal age of drinking in Japan anyways?” He asked quickly looking towards Xav assuming he would know for some reason.

Seeing the usual group (though cut down in half and with the addition of a new chirper) reminded Vivienne a lot of the dorms. Aside from the change in scenery, the room arrangements were pretty much the same and the banter just as lively. The long flight had taken a toll on each one of them mentally, and Vivienne was more than ready than to stretch her limbs and explore. City night life was her alley and she had just the outfit ready for a midnight get away.

(A/N: Is 6-7 PM in RP time alright with you two?)

"Bet you Xavier's the bottom," Vivienne adds with a smirk and wink thrown for Karlie's imagination. She waltz herself into the bathroom and starts unpacking her belongings, before moving to claim her bedroom and doing the same there. There was no holding back in making herself feel like home.

Her blonde head popped out of the doorway, an eyebrow raised up when the conversation piqued her interest.

"What girl?" she throws the question nonchalantly as she hung her clothes on the hangers provided. Of course, Vivienne knew the answer. It wasn't exactly hard to find Adam after that night of mischief.

Vivienne was a different story, having wore a mask and being one of the many blondes in the school. Finding her wouldn't be too easy and she was no help as well. The only hint was the pure coincidence that the two ended up flatmates the week later.

"Naturally," Vivienne replies, pleased that she had been his first pick to invite, "You don't even have to ask. Just give me a minute to freshen up," she waved a hand and disappeared in the bathroom again, coming out five minutes later with mascara and smelling like roses.

A black bomber jacket was thrown on with a clutch in hand, the blonde sashayed herself towards the doorway and turned back, grinning with all the cheekiness of twelve year old.

"If it's alcohol you're looking for, I know just the place."
