Sea of Secrets

Backstory:
Books tell of there once being a great castle located on the cliffs overlooking the sea to the south of Fiore in ancient times. There are even traces of it being there, such as crumbling stones and traces of pure gold. The family that lived there was composed of powerful knights, who raided other countries and hoarded their riches within the depths of their home. Impressive with magical and physical combat, they were truly feared.

Which makes the disappearance so bizarre. The castle just one day disappeared into thin air, with no trace of the family or their riches. Many believed they used a powerful spell to teleport away before they were attacked by a powerful army. Others think they destroyed their home with magic and killed themselves along with it. Others think they lost a bet with a demon and were forced to give all possessions, including their mortal souls. However, these are all rumors, and the castle, soon becoming called The Castle That Vanished, became mainly an urban legend.

However, this did not stop treasure hunters from searching for the castle. They scoured the earth, looking for any sign of the castle in all corners of the earth. Many threw away their lives just to get a glimpse of a single brick of the mystery. None were successful. Until today. A man named Sai Taverin has reached out to any notable mage to lend him their assistance, and promises riches and adventure to whoever wishes to accompany. He leaves directions to the original location of the castle, where the mages can meet him to discuss his plan.

Client:
Sai Taverin, a treasure hunter who wishes nothing more than to prove the castle exists, and to glimpse history.

Objective:
Discover The Castle That Vanished and retrieve as much treasure as possible.

Reward:
Whatever treasure is retrieved, it will be sold and the earnings will be split up between all participants, as well as a base 10,000 Jewels to everyone who assists Sai.

Enemy:
Sai cautions that due to the castle being old, some magic traps may still be in place, and the powerful mages who lived there probably set up other nasty situations to deal with. Approach with caution.

I will warn that in their CS ended up a bit whacked as I was in the process of editing when the thread got locked.
