Young Justice: Heroes of Tomorrow

"And in the training room" Flare says and she sighs "Who are you two?" Shadow asks and Flare says "I'm Flare, this is my friend Saber and this is Blaze" she says taking a small box, which she opens to reveal a young phoenix "But Shadow Raven, it's rude not to introduce yourself first" she says. She inspects the time machine and sighs "We're stuck, it broke" she says. Wally looks at the two and says "Rob, you might wanna call Batman about these two weirdos" "Time travellera from the future" Flare corrects him and Shadow sweatdrops "I don't like you already" she says bluntly. Kaldur looks at Robin "Call Batman, we'll take these two to a holding cell for the time being" he says and Connor asks "Shouldn't we ask why they are here first? If it's suspicious we can take them to a holding cell". Shadow walks to the time machine and starts inspecting it carefully "Can I use parts of this for my project? The technology club turned me down and will only let me join if I make something they won't be able to make in 10 years" she says, she was busy making something they will never be able to make in their life, but the others don't need to know that.

Saber laughed a bit, " A holding cell? That is funny.." she said and looked at everyone. "And you are not kidding.." she siged before looking at Shadow. " Sorry Shadow, but no. That would be cheating and I dont like cheating unless it with villians" she said with a smile before looked at the machine. " No worries I can fix-" it blew up and smoke was cominng out. "Damn.. " Saber said with a sigh.

Robin sweatdropped before calling Batman, " Bats we have some people who are saying they are from the future."

"Is it still cheating if I fix parts?" Shadow asks waving the smoke away and she sweatdrops "If there's something left to fix that is" she says before walking to Robin. Batman sighs "I'll be there in a moment, tell Black Canary she's late" he says and Shadow looks at the time "Ah he's right, dad was going to take you to a movie" she says, Flare tilts her head and asks quietly to M'gann "Are Shadow and Robin a couple already?", if not then things would get even worse. Kaldur looks at Saber "Yes, we are. We can't just assume you're telling the truth" he says and Connor asks "And why would you go back to the past if it's true?" "Reasons" Flare mumbles quietly. Wally groans "I think that stupid wolf broke my nose" he says and leaves the room "Keep it away from me!" he calls "Nah don't feel like it!" Shadow calls back.

Saber thought for a minute, " Nope, you fix it you can use it, but no putting us in a cell" she said crossing her arms. " cause that is just mean" she said she with a pout and looked around. She couldnt believe this place was so old fashion.

Black Canary sighed a bit and nodded, "Yeah, but someone send him off to a mission" she said refering to Batman.

Megan blinked and looked at Flare, " No.... they are not" she whispered.

"And technically you are intruders" Shadow says and she teleports the broken time machine to her workplace in her and her father's hideout "Well now what?" she asks. Batman looks at the team "Put them in a holding cell and take their weapons away" he says and adds "And he just returned, but he is a little bit injured" "A little is putting it really lightly Bats" Leo says and he adds "I would punch you for not sending someone with superpowers, but that'll have to wait". Shadow narrows her eyes at her second mentor and he says "I'll be there soon" and he ends the call. Wally looks at the two and says "You heard the man, hand over your weapons" "I don't have weapons" Flare says bluntly as Connor leaves and he returned with a bag for the weapons.

Batman looks at Scarlet "Help him before Shadow and Black Canary come over here" he says and adds "Trust me, you don't want that".

"I am comming too" BC sais as she followed after Shadow.

Saber sighed a bit, "Just a warning. Do not scan or touch them " she said as she took off her sword and dropped in the bag along with her gloves and shoes.

"You're forgetting glasses" Robin said pointing at his mask, but was refering to Saber's glasses. Saber pouted and dropped her glasses in as well.

"Happy? Sheesh why is everyone so paranoid?" Saber as she pulled on her socks a bit. " You guys are usually so laid back...." she sais as she ran a hand through her hair before she started walking to the holding cell area.

Scarlet looked up and sweatdropped before running off to help Leo get to thr infirmary. " So.. mind if I ask what happened?"

Flare sweatdrops as Wally holds out his hand for the box "You are not getting Blaze, she's too important" she says and adds "And she doesn't want to be around strangers" "Can she keep the bird?" Connor asks and Kaldur nods "It doesn't seem that it's used as a weapon" "It's not a weapon" Flare says and she follows Saber. "We don't trust people who said they suddenly came from the future" Kaldur says and he sighs.

Shadow arrives at the Watchtower and she runs to her father "Well Batman though it'd be fun to send me to an island where monsters are running amok freely, without any help of course" Leo says and he adds "He almost seems pissed you moved away" "I'll kill him" Shadow says and she helps Scarlet "Or I'll just annoy him more, yeah I'll do that"

Saber turned on her heel, " Fine, you dont believe us? Ask us something only the people who worked with you would know? Anything." Saber said crossing her arms.

Scarlet sweatdropped, " Wow... just wow" he sais as Black Canary arrived and came running over. "And you should rescheduled that date"

"You are wasting time Saber, things here are different, I bet they never even heard of my planet" Flare says and she adds "Green Lantern may know of it though, let's just go before they decide to take Blaze as well", she wanted to see Damien, he'd know what to do "Hey Saber, what if Dami never meets the me from this timeline?" she asks tilting her head "I guess Blaze will have to make a nest first though, but a phoenix never has more then one child like me" she says. Kaldur looks at Iris "Go with them" he says and looks at Saber "Batman will decide whether or not you speak the truth" he says and Connor asks "Can we go back to training now?" Wally shrugs "I guess, but our training instructor left with Shadow"

Leo chuckles "I guess so" he says and adds "We could still watch a movie though" "You are not doing anything when you get home, if you do I'll swear I'll find someone related to Agent A to be our household butler" Shadow threatens and Leo sweatdrops "You'll do that anyway" he says and Shadow nods "And I'm on a good trail, of course I can also find someone who's just like him".

Iris blinked and looked at Kaldur. She didnt really want to follow them. The two girl made her feel nervous. She sighed a bit, "Okay.." she sais as she followed after the girls.

Saber stuck her tongue out at the team before turning on her heel and walking. " I hope Batman isnt a buzz kill..." she sais with a sighe before looking at Flare. " And you'll meet him. He did tell us how batman found him" she said before sweatdroppibn. " Oh god... the drama. I hate drama, except for it being on a movie where you can sit back and watch the chaos happen" she said with a giggle before looking at Flare. " Sorry, I am being crazy again" she sighed and she looked at the ceiling as she walked. She missed the team she was with in the future, but they are all gone sadly.

Scarlet laughed a bit, " You sound like Zen. When I am sick or injured he doesnt let me leave bed until I am better" she said as she helped him onto the infirmary bed. "Ill go get the bandages. You keep the kitty company" she giggled as she walked off.

"Kitty?" Black Canary said with giggle. "Well your name is Leo... so it suit you"

"It's fine, having your planet destroyed does that to people, I should know" Flare says and she adds "And Dami will never meet me if my parents don't have a reason to go here in the first place", she did get off of the wrong foor with him in their time, but they eventually became friends "Even the bad guys were killed, funny if you think about the fact they deatroyed it" she mumbles.

Shadow sweatdrops as Leo says "We have two servants Shadow, we don't need more" "Yeah newbies" Shadow says and she adds "I hate my personal maid, she's too stuck up and doesn't do any work at all". Leo sighs "I'll ask agent A to come over then and have him teach him a thing or two"

"Bad guys never did think things through. So its not really a surprise..." Saber said with a sigh before yawning. " I want to cry, but I also want to sleep right now..." she stretched a bit. Iris was quietly following behind the two. She curiously listened to their conversations. Saber looked and grinned a bit, " So, Iris do you have a crush on Kaldur?" Saber asked as they arrived at the cell. Iris stopped and stared for a moment before shaking her head as as Saber walked in with Flare. Iris pressed a few buttons to close the cell before running off back to her group. "She is so adorable... wonder what happened. Iris and Shaidw had burn marks on them" Saber said as she sat down and rested her head on her friend's shoulder.

Black Canary sweatdropped, " That will be a sight to see..". She said as Scarlet walked back with the bandages. She handed one to Black Canary before she stsrted treat and then bandaging her wounds.

"That's true" Flare says and she adds "I sometimes wonder if it would be better if we didn't survive at all", not that she had a choice in the matter, Blaze will always protect her "Not that I can die, well not once anyway", she never asked Blaze why she would protect her at all costs.

Shadow nods and says "And you get to see it cause you can't stay in that apartment anymore" "I have to agree with her, she needs a mother figure in her life, she's lonely if I'm at work" Leo says and Shadow looks down, she wished he wouldn't mention that "I'm not lonely" she says and smiles, she was lonely after school, but how would he know that.

"Well I am happy I didnt die... You would have been lonely." Saber said with a smile as she closed her eyes. " I am gonna get some sleep.." she said to her friend. "If yoh need anything... wake me up" she smiled. "That includes wanting to talk" she added closing her eyes.

Black Canary blinked and wasnt sure what to say, " Come on Black Canary. Ya need a man in your life" Scarlet said with a giggle. " Plus you and Leo spend alot of time together, so why not move in with him?" Scarlet said with a shrug.

"Hm.. Ill think about it.." Black Canary said as Zen arrived from a mission and tossed Batman a flashdrive with the information he wanted.

Scarlet blinked, " Be right back" she said and ran off to the main room.

Shadow sweatdrops and she sighs looking down, she never told Lily because she didn't want to have her think the wrong thing, but she had been jealous for a long time of her best friend, she still was that she had both her parents that had time for her "I should go back to the mountain" she says and leaves. Leo looks as his daughter turns a corner and he says "It's easier to see lately, that she's feeling lonely in that big house, it's why she had been bothering me about getting more servants lately, we leave at the same time so I can bring her to school. Then when she doesn't go to the mountain she goes home, but she never invites people over" he says and looks at Black Canary "I'm not a bad father right?".

Flare smiles "I have blaze to talk to" she says, Batman was taking him time, she pets Blaze and she yawns, it was impossible to sleep in their time, well nearly, especially since a few survivors kept trying to steal Blaze.

Scarlet ran over and jumped on Zen hugging him happily. "You are back" She said with a giggle.

"Of course I am" Zen said hugging her back.

Scarlet giggled, " You will not believe what happened."

Zen smiled, " That happened?"

Scarlet giggled as she dragged him to the infirmary, " ill tell you on the way to the infirmary"

Black Canary sighed a bit, " Well.. from what she tells me. You are barely home and kind of talks about how Lily's parents have time dor her ans you dont... So I guess you are trying, but not trying hard enough"

Iris came walking over to her team, " They are in their cell..." she said to them.

Lily and Megan looked, " Did something happen?" Megan asked.

"No, they are just.. odd..." Iris said to her.

"Not that surprising" Artemis said with a sigh.

Leo sighs "I know I'm not always home, but if our servants were a bit more trained then she wouldn't be that lonely" he says and adds "And I will have more time for her when I finish getting everything in order with the company. Which will take a few more days".

Shadow arrives back and she plops down on the ground "They did say they come from the future, so you should have expected that they are odd" Kaldur says and he looks at Shadow "Are you alright?" "No I'm not. My own father barely has time for me between work and League work" Shadow says with a depressed look.

"Why dont you take a whole day of work and league and just spend that day with Shadow?" Scarlet suggested as she walked over with Zen. "Sounds like she wants your attention now instead of later" she crossed her arms. " and even if the servants were trained better she would still have been lonely.."

Lily and Robin frowned a bit. The two looked at each other and Robin went over to Shadow to hug her. " I am sure he will make time for you after her has everything figured out. " he said to her softly.

"I'll be forced to like this anyway, but it looks like Shadow managed pretty good concerning the company" Leo says "She worked from the shadows, but I can also take her with me to work, they've been asking to meet the person who kept it running". He looks at Scarlet and Zen "Which bring me to your kid, how does Lily like it without glasses?" he asks with a smile.

"There shouldn't be much to do, I kept the company going Robin, plus Bats keeps sending him on long term missions" Shadow says "So I need more ideas on how to annoy him, maybe I can use him for target practice", she wondered if Batman was pissed that she moved out of Wayne manor to her real home.

Black Canary smiled, " You mist be proud to have such a young smart girl" she said before looking at Scarlet and Zen.

"She is still adjusting. This morning she was asking me if I have seen her glasses before realizing she doesnt need any." Scarlet said giggling a bit. "Thank you for helping out with payment of the eyes surgery. I was a bit surprised by how much was already paid. "

"I wasnt" Zen said resting his chin on the top of her head.

"Nothing surprises you dear" Scarlet said with a laugh.

"Why dont we sit down and think of ways to annoy him then? We dont really have anything else to do at the moment" Artemis said with a shrug.

Leo chuckles "Yeah, Shadow told me she lost her glasses and panicked during the attack of the reds, and she wanted to use her own savings, but I told her that I'd help out and that she could just continue saving up" he says and chuckles "She might even be smarter then Batman considering technology, I just hoped that sending her to the same school as Lily would get her some friends, but that failed" he says and adds "She's busy building something that will put the entire technology club to shame".

Shadow sighs "I've done quite a lot of things, but I haven't decided what I'll change my costume to when I change my name" she says and takes out her holographic sketchbook "I have some designs, but none are really that good" she says going through her drawings "That and those that would annoy him aren't cold proof" she says. Kaldur chuckles "Sounds like a fun hobby though" he says sitting down with Connor and Wally.

"She started going to Lily's school? We dodnt know that" Scarlet said as Canary sighed.

"Yeah, Lily didn't notice her at school..."

Scarlet frowned a bit, " I guess since she finally made some friends, she didnt notice Luna. They also never really went to the same school, so that could be a reason too" Zen explained.

"But I am looking forward to heard what she made to put the tech club to shame" Scarlet said with a giggle.

"You'll see in time" Leo says and she adds "And she was planning to tell Lily, but said she didn't want to intrude in Lily's group of friends", he wondered what he could do to cheer Luna up "I need to spend more time with her, but how?" he asks,with a sigh.

Shadow smiles "Yep and he has worse things to worry about, like,the villaons in Gotham" she says and stops at a design "Guess I can try making this one" she says and groans "Wish we had an Agent A at home" she complains. "Also Lily, officially I'm not a batkid anymore, I'm going to help you patrol" she explains and takes out a phone and a map appears "Well... our two guests are fine".

Batman walks in and says "Show me their weapons" "One of them difn't have weapons" Wally says. Batman looks at the group and says "Anyway, the League members will take turns taking care of you, the firdt one will be Zen, if by any chance spends too much time with Lily feel free to beat the crap out of him", though that last statement was more directed to Shadow "Shadow and Iris, I don't want to see you doing snything that could make your injuries worse" he adds. Connor sighs "Why not ask someone else then?" "Unless you all prefer Black Canary for the first week, or maybe green arrow" Batman says loking at the group.

"Use whatever free time you have and spend it with Shadow. Thats what we do and that has been working with Lily. We also did a schedule on busy weeks where at least one if us is at home" Scarlet said to Hunter.

Lily sweardropped wondering if Batman has something agains parents. She wouldnt really like it if Shadow hurt her father, even if she was jealous of the fact that her parents spend more time with her. Shadow could always tel her and she could limit her interactions while they are on the mountain. "Naa, Black Canary needs a break, how about Green Arrow?" Robin suggested and looked at everyone.

Leo groans "One tiny problem... There's two of you and only one of me, I can't reschedule important things" he says and sighs "Just leave me alone for a while, I need time to think".

Shadow stands up and says "Yes and my dad is injured cause someone keeps sending him on suicide missions", she gives Batman a glare and says "I wonder if you hate him because I left Gotham or because you don't know how to be a father yourself", she leaves and Yami runs after her, sure she was lonely at home, but at leasther father showed he cares about her "Don't expect to see me here again" she calls before the computer announces her and her pets departure.

Wally sweatdrops "Rob, go after her" he says and adds "Before Bats gets over his shock". Kaldur and Connor are quiet as they look at Batman who seems deep in thought before saying "I'll go and get Green Arrow then, meanwhile, scan your guests weapons, that could also help determine if they are from the future", he leaves as well and around 5 minutes later Green Arrow appears.
