One or two questions before we start out, what kind of environment does the city present? Like, is it essentially unaltered from its original purpose as a mega-city, or has it been kind of prison-ified and stripped down? Did they bother finishing construction before it was converted to hold all the superhumans? Where do supplies come from, or is there like ... a gang that farms? Does the dome simulate weather, or the day/night cycle, or is it transparent to allow for normal daylight?

To add to that, is the city organized in any particular way, maybe with more prominent prisoners naturally settling in a particular area? Are some areas worse than others in terms of living conditions, or is every area as sucky as the next?

The cities construction was completed, and it was largely left alone by the authorities (with the exception of searching it to clear out any phones,computers, or other means of outside communications.) The only differences to the city have been done by the gangs. Some Buildings have been stripped for metal,stone and wood resources. As for food a few gangs can produce their own food from the seeds and livestock that were left behind. (The Valkyrie gang is the top producer of both food and fresh water.)
The prison set up is pretty simple really. Think of a dart board with the city divided into layers. The central area is set up like a grid with the downtown central nuke being the exact center, the 28's occupy this section and a large portion of the factory sector to the South of the center. Expanding out from the center you have the medical district to the west (the Lucky sevens own this all the way out to the rural area.) The factory district to the South. The market district to the east (Valkyries own a large portion of this.) And the residential district to the West. After that there is the final ring which is the rural areas (each major gang has a little bit of this farm land but the Valkyries have the most of it.)

So ... How do people who haven't been recruited get their hands on supplies? You said that gamgs produce the food, I'm assuming there are free agents that build and repair things, but like ..
Is there an economy? Bottlecaps/bits of metal/smokes? Or is everything bartered?
