“Oh. Looks like there’s someone crazy enough after all,” Selicity purred to her pocket when the announcement was made. Standing up, the Cat Sidhe stretched and checked her pocket for the updated information regarding Silentia Zahard’s first challenger. Areum Eurasia. The girl was a strange one. Challenging Illiam. Challenging Silentia. Did she like looking for strong opponents? “I’ll check the fight out and report what I see. That’s a scout’s job, right? You can rest easy Illiam. You’ve had a….rough…day.”
Rough was an understatement. Illiam had come out of the cave with Yaga looking like a beat up rag doll. Selicity had been at a loss for words when she saw the state of her teammate. Though there was one thing she concluded—being special didn’t look like it was a lot of fun. She wondered why Illiam would consent to go through such drastic training, different from the rest. Was there something he really wanted at the top of the tower?
“Be especially nice to Illiam today, Seefie. I seriously thought he was going to die when he came out of that cave.”
It probably wasn’t necessary to tell Seefie that. Seefie was always nice. Selicity was also fairly certain Seefie was better at caring for people than she was. The girl had a more mature vibe about her. Most people in her village had avoided Selcity, so Selicity wasn’t exactly good at helping others. She was better at fighting. At arguing. Losing to Ningor drove her competitive spirit up a notch or two. If she was bad with directions, she needed to get better at it. If she needed to hone her sense for traps and danger that was what she’d do. It wasn’t for anyone else’s sake. It was for herself. Since she didn’t like losing.
Selicity’s body shrunk as she morphed into her more diminutive form. Licking her paws, Sel took a moment to groom herself before scurrying towards the location of Silentia and Areum’s fight, her pocket floating beside her. For now she’d check out what both girls were capable of. Silentia Zahard was strong enough to pass all the tests to the next floor. Therefore, she’d need to be as strong as Silentia in order to climb to the next floor. Simple logic really.

Evelyn Wicker
“Ahhh. Hmmmmm. Maybe.” Humming to himself, hand to his chin in thought, Evelyn pondered the best location to leave the E-rank tree at. Argeus wanted to check out the other irregular so bringing him directly to Illiam might be most efficient. But where was the fun in that? Snake eyes surveyed the on-goings of the 2nd floor passively, occasionally drumming fingers against one of the green cubes idly, when his eyes lit up.
“Ohohoho, I didn’t expect her to be here. Perfect~Teleportation in Three. Two. One.”
Evelyn snapped his fingers and Aregus was gone.
Where did Argeus go?
The Satyr would suddenly find himself standing in the audience section of what appeared to be a lighted arena. Third row. Above him was a display board showing in bright colors, Silentia Zahard vs Areum Eurasia. And, a couple of seats down where he was, sat a gray cat, its tail flicking back and forth excitedly. There weren’t many people present…at least not yet. However, moments later, streams of 2nd floor regulars seemed to flood in eager to watch Silentia Zahard’s fight. With them, a figure cloaked in black arrived. However, instead of joining in the audience seats, the figure seemed to want to keep itself to the back wall.
The winged observer on Argeus’s shoulder buzzed to life. “You’ll want to watch this fight. Pay special attention to Silentia Zahard. One of the princesses of this tower, and a ward of the Mule family, she has every reason to despise FUG. Depending on how negotiations go, she could become a very useful ally in your quest to destroy them. Or not. Up to you really~”
