Dice War of Despair (Exalted 3e) - OOC

resetting my initiative back to 3 for me to build up with Withering attacks.

As a Dawn, you reset to 3+(half Essence, round up) after decisive attacks. So, currently: 4.

EDIT: That was assuming you spent 16 motes, as I thought you did with Full Excellency+Nova Arrow Attack. But you just did Nova. Sorry, I should read more carefully!

I already rolled attack they are under rolls accordion in my previous post the attack itself was 4 success (it was a surprise attack so abomination gets a -2 defense penalty) and damage was another 4 success if it hit also all enemies loses 1 initiative because of ebon shadow forms ability.
Sorry I missed it.

Yeah, its just him and Cleon, he's revving up Bronze Skin for some Brawl work while he sets his servitors loose to help the defenders hold back the horde.

Which reminds me, I forgot to ask: how much does the undead battlegroup soak subtract? I need to know that to make the damage roll of course.

Let me know if I missed something. There really is nothing to that post, but somehow it took my days to construct. LOL. Combat will get faster as we get used to it.

Nexus: Sun

The stench of the sewn rotting skin is unbearable. The Abomination you’re near definitely did not see you. It’s slow, but its layers of rot protect it like armor.

With its parry DV taken down by -2, it’s at parry DV 1. Its soak is 11. Roll your decisive attack damage.

Soak does not work against decisive attacks, only if hardness is equal or higher than damage pool there is no damage but attack counts successful. My damage roll was included in my IC post and it was 4 success and my damage pool was 10 dice so unless my target has 10 or more hardness it takes 4 lethal damage. Sun's initiative is set to 6 and every enemy lost 1 initiative point when sun entered stealth.

Indeed! Thank you for your correction. You laid it all out for me and I totally messed it all up. I've edited it. Sorry.

It is ok I need to check book alot of times myself playing on forum pbp is good on that way I check double check sometimes triple check and I am a palyer I only need to check things that concerns me you need to check every players and npc's situation and you are doing a good job at that. I am elarning things as we proceed so taking it slow at first is actually welcomed.

Greenstalker Greenstalker I'm a bit envious. Mine is still back in the States (although I do have a PoD with me, I don't really want to risk shipping the real one to China {although I didn't go Orichalcum like you did}).

Also, Great Light (he's like a shark... but with the name "Lumen Magna"... or is that just a title too?) is the lucky one who finds his Lunar mate first. Fun to be had! (I personally love Solar/Lunar games and can't wait for Lunars to be out so I can go back to playing Luna's Chosen.)

Lumen Magna is technically his name, but he doesn't know of anyone else who speaks the language of that village, so it might as well be a title to him.
