That layout was made before the announcement afaik, so she probably just forgot to go back to fix it after seeing the announcement. *shrugs*
Hopefully mono can fix it without any issues once she comes back.

I did let the owner know what happened and all that jazz. It kinda feels dirty having users stick their fingers in the coding without a BBCoder's permission. Even if it's for a "good reason," it feels grimy. Just voicing an opinion is all.

I understand, however, all that was touched was changing the HTTP to HTTPS. We used to have to do this constantly for site breaking CSS/HTML. BBCode is no different and will be edited if needed.

Its better then being warned for it. HTTPS consistency is really important to us.
 
Yeah. I understand this. It's the fact that something as simple as adding "s" to http resulted in coding breaking. It's a dirty feeling. I wasn't here when HTML was around, so I have no idea how crazy it got in fixing coding. Though, I feel like I'd feel the same way. It just feels weird and wrong. But, as I said, it's just an opinion. Ain't like I'm gonna start something and what not. And, as I said, I let the owner know because Mono is passionate about her coding and deserves to know what happened.

That's fine. It's just easier for us to quickly throw in the S and move on. And believe me, with CSS/HTML scrollbars went missing on more than just div boxes. >_>; Don't even ask me about fixing broken floats by having to backend find the edit option.

I believe their post shows it was edited by a moderator though, so nothing stealthy about the edit. :D
 
Oh God. xD That sounds hilarious and horrifying at the same time. Hilarious for 5 seconds.. and the realization that i can't fucking scroll for the next.. well, until it is fixed. Naw, I understand. With Mono's schedule and whatnot, she'd be on by the time people are asleep/the night owls come out. That's good that the post at least shows it was an admin and what not so it's not like some "random dude from the burbs" dicking around in there. But, yeah. It'll be rough with http to https switch for those that hotlink images offsite. But, it'll eventually set in. Like, chip in cards in the US. ... wait... that's still a Hell on Earth. ; A ; ( JK )
 
I genuinely did not realize that even the hack method counted, and I sincerely apologize for it. When I asked if the rule was retroactive DWiz only answered "div code". Thank you for fixing it Fyuri.
However, if I can give my two cents I personally believe it's more appropriate to leave a note for the person for them to fix it themselves, setting a due date/time for them. I was at work (+8 GMT timezone) when this all happened, or I would've immediately fixed it myself.

On CSS/HTML there was a time period to allow for fixes (unless it was just so sitebreaking it had to be removed to restore functionality), but since Wizard had already edited it and part of the code had been affected resulting in it not appearing as intended, on my end it was a "fix" of the issue where the code had been messed up. :3

Basically, if that lil' lock thingy is missing from the page near the URL, that means somewhere in the code it has broken the HTTPS, so always just double check for that.
 
There's no lock on safari, so I can't really use that to verify.

wait nvm fuck i forgot I had mine on a VPN descrambler. :T
 
Hmm, strange, it used to. I can even find screen shots showing it on the safari browser. I just tested it on my iPad and it shows the lock on the tablet. I'm trying to do a browsershot, but my queue is longer than than my timer for active capture. >_>
 
Just finally got a semi-working browser capture, Safari 9.1 does have that lock;

APOTHEOSIS
Two years after the Blood unit ended the World Closer, evidence of their actions spread throughout. Though Aragami continue to roam freely and god eaters maintain their duty, a stability and sense of peace had been reached alongside the earth's slow re-terraformation. Routine had been established.

Maybe that's why when it came, so many fell swiftly.

A burst of resonance so strong, both Aragami and God Eater stilled as it rocked through their systems. The entire continent of Europe paused for just a beat. Like the calm before the storm, the minutes that followed the silence were frenzied and violent. When they computed the aftermath, at least ten god eaters were lost, countless more injured. So many satellite bases were ravaged in the Aragami's sudden rampage.

Explanations were sought, but no real answer could be provided. In their investigations, an incredibly strong oracle response was recorded during the time frame's reading. It was enough to awaken every Aragami in Europe. But anyone who was even remotely familiar with Aragami could guess that. No one could explain the "whys" of the incident they now called the apotheosis.

When it happened again, memories of only four months ago still fresh on their minds brought god eaters a favorable win, but a heavy heart. When it happened once again, this became frustration. How long would the peace last this time? Were they really forced to simply accept their fate? Fenrir didn't think so, or at least, refused to accept it without learning more.

The Vienna branch long overshadowed by the much larger Berlin branch was re-established. Now it houses apotheosis researchers and the new unit dedicated to assist them. Lodestar is a group of handpicked god eaters who each bring something unique to the table. Will they find the cause and manage to stop these seemingly random resonance occurrences? Or is this simply part and parcel of the earth's eventual transformation?

Orianna Bauer-Wolf is famous for single-handedly defending against an attempted invasion in one of the local satellite bases. The act left her a lasting injury that impaired her ability to fight. She was in retirement for two years until she accepted the invitation to lead the re-purposing of her home base.

She has records of disobeying direct orders from Fenrir HQ, but her former allegations were forgotten in light of her heroic actions.

Director Wolf is no longer on active duty as a God Eater. However, Selena, her old-type God Arc, was given to a compatible user.

monGOD ARC TECHNICIAN　THIRTY (30)
A Viennese technician who specializes in maintenance and gun development. In addition to his engineering capabilities, he has also served as an operator and researcher. Despite being originally listed as a God Eater candidate, no Bias Factor with a high enough compatibility was found for him. He rescinded his candidacy after six years, continuing his work in infrastructure instead.

He was the main operator in the Vienna Branch for two years.

Vienna Branch's current operator. She is in charge of mission control, assignment and rewards. Additionally, she takes it upon herself to sway public opinion towards Fenrir, specifically God Eaters and their support staff.

After witnessing how Yuno supported the Far East Branch, she believes that giving Lodestar a "face" would help the public sympathize with them. With permission from Director Wolf, she runs short segments on the local television broadcast, uploading selected footage and images from missions and off time.
