Herotales: Divided Lines

"Okay, bro, seriously, I don't know who the person is you're talking about. I really would have no beef with you if you didn't destroy buildings. go figure out a rubiks cube or something!" He said and sighed. "Alright, you're still destroying buildings? I'm gonna regret this." He said as he ran to the building. "Damn it! ~We built the city! We built this city on rock and roll!" He sang, using a good amount of energy to stop the collapsing building and piece it back together.

Crimson strands began to fling free as the dolloped blanket folds began to ebb back. As the covers were almost forcibly pushed away from the red locks, a face winced at the air that burched its cheek. Eyebrows arched at the light feel of wind tickling her cheeks, a red mark stained the skin under her eyes before folding to reveal her hardened gaze.

The young woman moved before pushing off the covers and slipping from her cradled comfort, she pushed herself off the bed and slugged her body to a sliver of light slit through a doorway. A yawn escaped before her body dissappeared behind a door, soon after a strained choir of clanging metal and bursting water echoed through the small room.

The young woman emerged and she wiped the droplets falling from her face before burying her face in a towel. It was almost an instant as she shoved her arms through a form fitting top and pulled her legs through shorts, in that moment the young woman's legs were covered in the same material as her torso, her hardened gaze softened.

When she finished she moved for the door and let the day's light into the dank setting. A wince at the strength was the only movement she made before something bent and tore in front of her, a tear broke the view in front of her and the red haired woman vanished into it.

THIS. IS. Y. U. STOOOOPIIIID!

Yumi glared at her phone while she texted back Jamie, hoping that dumbass was gettin' hers by Ivana back home.

The Queen of Blingage swore fo' God that if Jamie don't stop this shit she was gonna bitchslap the stupid outta her as soon as she got back home!

She didn't even know where this came from, if she was honest, Jamie just started thinking "they'd be good together" or some cacophony of cock like that. Yumi don't even know, she stopped paying attention to her lame-ass.

In a way, Yumi knew Jamie was trying to help, in her own stupid way, but Yumi just...

Yumi wasn't ready to let go.

Not yet...

He's only been gone a year... Though its hella felt a lot longer than that.

Yumi clutched a necklace that had her engagement ring for a moment, a sad look on her face there just as brief, and then she was snapped back into reality by Mr. Quiet-ass next to her.

She glanced at him a moment and, sure, he wasn't unattractive PHYSICALLY... but his money-hungry ways made Yumi "lose her appetite" right quick. This fool wouldn't even make a Starbucks run, even if one gave him the money to buy it, without a little extra moo-lah on the side for "the effort".

Yumi DID somewhat appreciate Sanshiro-dawgs need of some green to make the scene, but Yumi a broke-ass bitch who couldn't make it rain, tho, so she didn't feel too bad about that cuz Sans probably felt the same.

I think we will be here for about three days. My report was thorough."]
She replied back, looking in her knapsack for about the billionth time to check her reports were all there, neatly organized, and the binder in good condition.

She YET AGAIN got another Text, but this time Yumi knew it was from Ivana from just the ringtone alone.

Multiple times. At husband Harvey's protest. Must go now, crime fighting to do. Пока!

Yumi smiled a tad at this and checked their current location from G.S.U.N... It wouldn't be long now...
Sanshiro took notice of Yumi looking at him, though he didn't make it obvious he knew. He could gather that the S-Force was doing their usual schtick of messing with each other. Jamie probably said something stupid to Yumi and Ivana punished her for it. This was nothing knew. He had a unique relationship with them.

He did not hate the S-Force, though he found their antics occasionally more grating than he'd please, and he even found himself caring for them in some regard, though he would deny it and wish the same. He did not hold them highly, and he believed himself capable of doing what must be done should an... offer arise, but he could not deny to himself that there was some amount of amicability in his heart for the force. He hoped to be able to remove it someday... he was working on it. There held within his heart a especially large fondness from his boss, the woman sitting next to him, Yumi, though he believed this to simply be due to his generous pay that she frequently gave him, larger than most of the task force. He was technically an assassin-for-hire, and the only reason he was on the force is because she payed him frequently to remain with them, as if he was constantly on a job. Of course, his services did not come cheap, but his talent in a pinch and his guaranteed loyalty made the price worth it, or so he imagined Yumi believed, for if it was otherwise, he would not be here with her.

That loyalty she gained was difficult to put a price on though. One could not appraise it. He had been offered jobs to kill S-Force members on numerous occasions and had, quite obviously, always declined, even when the price tag was larger than Yumi paid him. He rationalized it as follows. If he killed a task force member, it would be fairly obvious he had done it. Not many use katanas and blow darts nowadays. With that, he'd be kicked off the force for sure, and his steady pay would go away. If a job was going to take away his stream of money, it had to be SUBSTANTIAL. At least, that was how he rationalized it.
"I'll do you one better, Kid, I'll take you there to G.S.U.N myself!" Alistair kindly offered as his friends waved and went about their business.

"Gavin kinda makes a good point, but I don't want to dwell or think about that right now," Alistair thought to himself, forgetting for a second this boy was a psychic Super and could hear his thoughts.

"C'mon, I'll give you a Police escort!" Alistair grabbed his keys and signaled to him to follow him to his patrol car outside.

Max smiled. "Ah, er... that's not necessary..." Despite saying that, he would like it, if only because it made the trip easier. It was true that a police escort wasn't necessary, but it made his trip a lot easier. "But, uh... if you're sure, and it's not too much of a bother, then, uh... thanks!" He wasn't going to deny the man's kindness, even if it was a bit overboard.

A.S. Building

A wall sat idly, the room was still and no window visible to shed in fresh rays from the day, but suddenly the darkened floors illuminated and light spread to almost engulf the room. It was an instant but the floor was soon grace by a familiar scarlet color, the strands whipped for a moment before the shades of her skin were masked in the rooms mellow tone. The young woman let out a sigh and looked over the room and made her way to the door, a simple push and the crimson haired woman was in an expansive hallway.

Red fingers came up to mess in the already sprawled mane while another yawn escaped as she made her way into a large area, the glistening sterling fixtures suggested that it was pristine but dishes soaking in the sink gave away its tenants. The young woman glanced about, she wanted to keep to herself as much as possible, the others residing there were an acquired taste...and she wasn't in the mood for taste testing. The young woman rummaged through the refrigerator, she was clueless as to how or when they got the provisions and snacks that they did...but she wasn't really complaining at the moment.

After a brief scavenge through the pantry she moved on with her bounty, a bag of chips and two drinks with a small carton of chocolate coated biscuits, they had her arms full and her face fuller, she had already dug into the chips and had began her crunching before she unloaded the heap on a lone counter and ventured to look for another sweet treat. The young woman paused before turning her head slightly, suddenly a thin material began to manifest on the counter beside the goods, it wove and crept up until it's finished look was that of a reusable bag, it sat silently beside the piled snacks while its creator pilfered for one more sweet confection.

"Curse it all, Lucas..." Nega sighed as he retreated in the shadows when a heroic Super arrived at Lucas' shenanagains...

Like they always do.

Leaving Nega, as always, to play the Hero.

He was awed at first, upon this Super singing a popular melody that things according to the songs lyrics were happening at their whim!

Remarkable!

"I...I should step in now..." Nega thought to himself while frowning at nothing in particular.

He would have to gamble it...

Better make this good...

"Stop this, Lux!" Nega demanded, appearing out of the shadows rather suddenly, a now firm barrier between Lux and the young man now reconstructing Lux's destruction.

He had a sort of hard-shadow shield protecting the two, but he knew his brother knew Nega was slightly weakened in the light of day, though slightly less so in the shadows the light begot.

He didn't want to admit it to himself, but, his heart felt slightly lighter at the repairs... and that seemingly no one was getting hurt in their crossfire.

"Sure, kid! Come on!" Alistair insisted at this point, leading him to the car, then adding, "I have to start my patrol anyway, so I might as well take you to G.S.U.N myself!"

He knew this kid knew his other motive for wanting to leave to quickly, and he did feel BAD about it, but its not like that was the only reason.

He wanted to do everything he could to help Supers, because he appreciated and respected them greatly, and he was actually quite honored to be able to help a Super.

"Buckle up and safety first!" Alistair reminded the boy, not unlike an after-school special.

...Why WAS he sounding like a bad 90's after school special?

This boy was young, but not THAT young...?

He didn't know for sure, but it was best to play it safe.

As he sort of shook his bad "I'ma mentor you kiddo" attitude from his head, he typed in G.S.U.N's address, and wondered if he needed anything else before heading to the "Halidom of Heroes".

Yumi looked a little uneasy when he stared back at her that second, and casually took her hand off her necklace.

That moment of vulnerability was SO OVER.

Bling queen didn't notice or right much care Sansy-boy was seemingly in deep thought or whatever, she was just glad to not have to explain her frowns and grunts and pouts since he wasn't asking (not that she was gonna, anyway, PSSYYCCHHEE!!)

Her eyes narrowed and she pouted as, ONCE AGAIN, her phone vibrated and such to inform her she had YET ANOTHER FRIGGIN' TEXT.

UUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHH. :xFwhat:

That was it.

This was SO WHACK Yumi just turned her dang phone OFF. She'd text those fools LATER. When it was late as hell their time and they couldn't spam her.

After what seemed like a billion, jillion, fofillion years they were FINALLY at G.S.U.N's front doors!

"Thanks, homes," Yumi thanked the driver while slipping him a five, him looking a bit surprised she knew English, Bling queen herself forgetting she hadn't dropped lines outside her native tongue.

Yumi stretched a bit as the two stood before the pure-white building.

Now THAT was a bit too much bling, but it was for the crib of all cribs for Heroes, so Yumi couldn't really say anything bad 'bout it.

They walked in the main lobby, ignoring the two Supers having a staring contest, and went right to the main receptionist.

"Yo-ho! Misty the receptionist, right? Names Yumi! N' this is Sanshiro! We're here to turn in our reports and have a conference with th' main dawg himself! Know where we can find him?"
She asked the pig-tailed red-head.

"Yumi! Ah heard ya were dropping by! Along with yer chosen one over here! Here be yer guys room assignment! Hey, We gotsta do a handshake greetin' all secret like!" Misty demanded in her excitement at finally meeting the leader of the Tokyo sector as she handed Yumi a slip with a room number on it.

"Sure thing, girl! Up high!" Yumi offered Misty a "high" high-five after taking the slip.

Excitedly, Misty agreed and slapped her hand.

"Down low!" Yumi then slid her hand pretty low, not shocked Misty wouldn't oblige.

"Aw, hecks naw!" Misty pouted, hands on her hips and everything.

"Naw, girl, it's all lovely! It's all lovely! In fact, I got something for ya!" Yumi claimed, pretending to have something for her and almost even reaching in her bag.

"Really?!" Misty gasped, honing in her dumbass face right TO Yumis hand.

Yumi made a sort of 'twang' sound as she lightly yet firmly smacked the red-headed receptionist right on her cheek.

"What we learn?" Yumi asked, getting her back for calling Sanshiro her "chosen" and getting a good kick out of Mistys stunned reaction afterwards.

Max knew that Alistair didn't mean to patronize him, and either way, Max didn't mind too much. Though it was strange... 18 was basically an adult. If he was around 13, it would make more sense... ah well. Max buckled up and got ready to go to GSUN. He wondered if he'd meet this Mega-Girl. She certainly sounded like a great hero, though perhaps she was being praised undue... it DID seem like they were praising her body more than her fighting spirit and heroic passion. Regardless, he was still interested. Maybe he would get the chance. He had journeyed for so long, and it was about to be over. He was very excited.
Sanshiro followed Yumi. He didn't quite get why Yumi slapped Misty, it seemed unwarranted. However, he'd long ago learned that Yumi was very unpredictable. Her actions often did not follow logic. He'd simply have to accept it. While Yumi was dealing with the receptionist and, he was sure, making an excellent impression on behalf of Japan, he noticed another woman approaching. She seemed relatively scantily clad, given the environment. She seemed to be heading for the desk, but when she noticed Sanshiro, the faintest hint of a grin crept onto her face and she approached him instead.

"Hey there pal," she said in a sultry voice when she arrived. "How are YOU doing?" Sanshiro remained quiet. His face maintained its usual stoicism, although the faintest hint of confusion was betrayed on there as well. "Oh, the strong silent type, are ya?" She leaned in. "I'm weak for a man of few words myself." He still remained just as stoic as before.

Jack was shocked when he saw some odd women smack the receptionist. "Side note don't mess with her maybe if I just sneak off. Nothing will come of it." Jack turned around and was beginning to walk away hoping nothing would happen. However he accidentally tripped on one of the stairs. But however he fired a shockwave from one of his hands before he hit the ground and sent him flying upward and landing only a few feet away on his feet. "Oh my god powers for once make me look like a normal person!" He nervously looked around hoping he didn't make too much of a scene.

As Rike approached the mansion of the wealthy trust fund children, he grew a sly grin. "These are the kinds of jobs that really make this kind of work worthwhile" he mutters as he grabs his equipment from the back of the car. As he puts on his mask and readies his umbrella, he looks over the building. "One of those post-modernist mansions that seem to be so popular with these spoil rotten children" he mutters as he swings over to the rooftop of the building. Looking around he finds one of the most common entrances for the master thief into locked buildings. The air vent. Though a tight squeeze and bring the umbrella is anything but convenient, but with a few quick moves with his lock pick, Rike jumps out of the air vent and lands safely and quietly on the ground. "Now to find what I came for".

Seeing security in this place wasn't really surprising, neither was their lack of skill in noticing Rike as he slipped past them with ease. The only hard of this job was finding the Jade statute, yet that issue was quickly resolved as he found a gate with security cameras and guards accompanying it. The guards were no issue, a quick throw of a coin gave enough of distraction for them, yet the cameras proved a greater challenge. Slipping underneath Rike pulls a cable out of the camera, which while it gave him time to get the artefact, it meant someone would no doubt be coming to find out what was going on. Putting his quick finger to use, Rike opens the safe seeing the Jade jewel inside. Swiping it he heads for the exit.

Yet in his hast, the thief forgets about the guard coming to see the camera. As the average joe yells down his walkie-talkie about a criminal, Rike delivers a swift blow to his neck, rendering the guard unconscious. "Well I imagine this will make night significantly more interesting" he mutters as he runs out the front door. Looking back to hear the pursuing guards, and already hearing sirens, Rike fires his grappling hook to the roofs above. Running along the rooftops Rike begins to grow a smile as he mutters "These really are the kind of jobs that make this life worthwhile.

That morning...
Achyuta slid his satchels strap over his shoulder, peering at himself in the grimy bathroom mirrors surface. The first thing most would notice in his reflection would be the ever present sneer becoming exceptionally more cruel the longer the boy looked at himself, although he didn't seem to acknowledge the fact. He'd gotten used to the forever echoing anger on his features, silent waves that rolled off of him and licked out at others like crackling flames. After he was satisfied with his appearance, Achyuta left the bathroom of his third story apartment and gathered up the things he'd for his day out. He had the room furthest back in the complex, a fire exit immediately outside his door, and of all the apartments in the complex his was arguably the best. Which was saying something, because if you asked Achyuta the living standards were horrendous. After filling his satchel with various books to keep him occuipied and whatever pocket change he could scrounge up, Achyuta began to set out when he noticed his bedstands open drawer. The perfect amount of light shone on the drawer from a crack in the partially drawn curtain to reveal its contents; it housed some of his smaller weapons, like the dirks and daggers, while he kept the rest of his blades elsewhere. He stared at the drawer for a moment, contemplating taking one. He'd been in Chicago for two weeks now and everything felt safe enough. Was a little extra protection really worth running the risk of getting caught with it? Having rationalized it, the young adult found himself easing the draw closed and booking it out of the door, ready to start his day.

Present...
Achyuta scarfed down the last of the chicken sandwhich he'd bought for himself, followed by a swig of iced tea. Finishing off the cup and bagging all the garbage, Achyuta discarded it all into the garbage can and stood up to take a quick survey of his surrondings. A park. He didn't know the name of said park, but it seemed quite active today, the echo of childrens shrill shrieks of joy and the smell of grilling meat in the air.

He hated every second of it. Maybe even more than that sandwhich.

With that, he took off again to finish his sight seeing for the day. Wanting to memorise Chicago's layout and visit key landmarks in the city, Achyuta decided it would be best to visit a building he'd heard plenty about but never bothered to pay attention to: the G.S.U.N headquarters. Home to heroes from all over the planet. Protecting Chicago from hurt, harm, or danger. Snickering at the thought, Achyuta followed the stone path out of the park and bought a local map from a kiosk vendor, leaving him with a total of ten dollars and some change. Lovely. Navigating with the map the best he could, Achyuta managed to find the G.S.U.N building and was pleasently shocked when he saw it. The building was MASSIVE, as he thought it would be, and it took him some time just to cross the yard to the reception office. By the time he made it there, he was wanting to sit back down, but settled for cracking the door and peering inside at-

BAM!

Before he could fully push the door open, it was forced closed by a sudden burst of air. "What a friendly welcome," Achyuta caustically remarked to himself, not deterred in the slightest. Swinging the door open without hesitation, Achyuta peered around the room and found that all eyes were now on him. There were will still a few who seemed to be in their own world, like a gold adorning female (Yumi), a flirtatious woman (Morph) who seemed to be pestering a possible G.S.U.N operative (Sanshiro), and a...

Magician (Hilbert, didn't know if he was wearing his coustume or not, so I just assumed)? Achyuta's eyes immediately went to this person, studying the strange way he held himself, like he'd done something he shouldn't have and was awaiting repurcussions.

Dante snaps out of his trance from the mysterious hero to see a completely different person slapping the secretary, noticing his form is untouched. "M-Maybe coming here was a bad idea, seeing as I'm not the most social guy to talk to..."

Dante says as he slowly moves away from the front desk, and follows the mysterious super walking up the stairs.

  • Visiting GSUN
Hilbert decided that joining GSUN would be a great opportunity to not only better himself in his abilities, but to at least do some good. He would dress in his Sky Magician attire and would head to the front door of the building. It felt grand in some way and the building itself gave off a feeling of Justice in it's own way.

"This is GSUN. A nice place with some color. It's a chance. A chance to help and improve. So here goes nothing," he would enter inside the building and would look around.

"Hello? Is there anyone I can talk to about joining GSUN?"

Achyuta followed Hilbert with his eyes as the magician themed Powered stepped into the lobby and announced their intentions. Achyuta appeared indifferent and cold to the situation, mostly because he was, but he still had a purpose for being here. Rather than put it off any longer than he already had, Achyuta approached the desk and nearly shoved Yumi aside trying to affirm his position there. He gave them both an uncomfortably long stare with light brown eyes that were all but kind, soon turning back to Misty with that ever present sneer.

"I'd like to tour your facility." Despite these words usually being spoken with a pleasant or at least some level of curiosity, there was no enthusiasm or excitement. The way he spoke was akin to a child responding on a topic they didn't care much for, which was strange considering he'd bothered to come here of his own free will.

  • Visiting GSUN
"Yeah I'd like a tour of the facility too," Sky Magician (Hilbert) said as he would await the whole GSUN tour/joining schtick. Would there be a test or was it more formal and had an interview? He didn't really know but hopefully it wouldn't be too much of an issue to begin with. GSUN looks like a formal company rather than a Hero Organization so he honestly expected an interview rather than just a test.

There were probably loads of Heroes who were far skilled and stronger than him but that really didn't concern him. So long as he can not only help but people improve himself then it would be worth it.

Jack burst into a full on sprint. Sure he looked suspicious as all hell but he didn't care. He just wanted to get out of sight and fast. The last thing he wanted was to have a hero trying to recruit him. He wasn't up for the Hero business, It wasn't him.

The young woman had found a small sponge cake wrapped and hidden away, a grin slipped on her lips before she walked over and tossed the delight in the bag, she began to throw the other snacks in the bag. After her crimson arms tucked away all of her salvage she made her way to a wide area, it was spacious enough for a crowd of people, but her purpose was simple for this idle place, she took a seat on a rather stiff chair, tossing her legs up on the table the young woman then began to settle in.

Guess while it's charging I'm gonna be have to live with boredom....Her thoughts seemed so condensed although her voice was sure to echo. Suddenly the sight in front of her shifted and tore revealing a darkened space, she simply dipped her hand into it before pulling up a slim device, she placed it on the table along with a rather bulky piece tapered from an attached cord. This thing is beyond dead...a sigh escaped as she popped open one of the bags she had snatched. The crunches from her snacking seemed monstrously loud in this quiet, but the woman went on, suddenly another rift broke the scene in front of her, her view was clear and as a stray gust slipped in she peered down from an overhead view over the city below.

Another chip was placed on her tongue as she watched the cars and people down below, she then noticed blaring from sirens under her gaze, "At least someone is having fun...." she noted in a dry tone with a slight grin before she tossed another chip in her mouth.

Had this Super seen him before he hid in the shadows?

He would have to gamble it...

Better make this good...

"Stop this, Lux!" Nega demanded, appearing out of the shadows rather suddenly, a now firm barrier between Lux and the young man now reconstructing Lux's destruction.

He had a sort of hard-shadow shield protecting the two, but he knew his brother knew Nega was slightly weakened in the light of day, though slightly less so in the shadows the light begot.

He didn't want to admit it to himself, but, his heart felt slightly lighter at the repairs... and that seemingly no one was getting hurt in their crossfire.
Maestro continued to sing even as the hero came out from the shadows. His main focus was on the buildings, but he quickly turned and looked to the person who had told the villain to stop. He finished putting the building back to gether and stopped singing after it was secure, then turned to the barrier and looked over to Nega. "Y-you know this guy? Who are you?" He defensively asked, not being incredibly trusting.

Lux sighed. "You know how I feel about this sort of thing, powers are absolutely boring if you never get to use them. But whatever, I guess I could stop for today."

He turned to Lux. "Seriously? I hav to battle you and then this guy comes in and tells you to stop, and you just do it?? Come on!" He said.

Alistair smiled at the psychic teen, sort of feeling a bit worried about what he's been through and why he was here, un-supervised.

...But he knew it was best not ask, and he didn't seem SO young he would be here if he wasn't an emancipated minor.

He must have JUST graduated High School and came here for college or something...

Alistair kinda wanted to pry, but he knew he'd just embarrass himself if his hunch was right and he WAS an emancipated minor... Hmmm...

It wasn't that long a drive from downtown L.A. to G.S.U.N territory, but Alistair didn't speak much to the boy, he DID want to focus on driving safely.

Before he knew it, they were already pulling up to the grand, glistening building.

"Well, here you go! Good luck joining G.S.U.N! I just know you're gonna go far, Kid!" Alistair waved his farewell to the young Super as he dropped them off at G.S.U.N.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Yes, I know him. He's Lux of the Ash Syndicate! I-I think he just knows who I am and all from the News, what with being Nega: the Hero of Heroes and all... Heh..." Nega explained to the clearly unhappy teen Super after Lucas "submitted" to him.

While he wasn't trying to portray himself as over-confident or arrogant, he knew he had to portray a certain persona being the one who created G.S.U.N. and was, as depicted by several means of media, the "Hero of Shadows".

He both adored dearly and utterly loathed this role he was given. It was a struggle he constantly fought with between the love of his family and the love of helping those who needed him.

He shot Lucas a short glance with facial cues, their special code, to disappear and "make it look good".

Though he felt a bit of annoyance with him for starting this whole unnecessary debacle, he still felt truly at ease in knowing him and his brother understood each other, possibly far better than most siblings did.

Misty, finally UNSTUNNED from the slap, frowned slightly at the dirty trick and rubbed her cheek that was hit furiously as Yumi snickered off to reunite with her CHOSEN.

"Yo, Sans, so I got our room assignment, and Nega ain't here yet, so like, do ya wanna head to the room, or--"

HOLD UP

Yumi began, then froze like a statue for a moment when she say Sanshiro was currently busy, apparently.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN, barely FIVE MINUTES INTO G.S.U.N and Sansy ALREADY got bitches and ho's all over him!?

Huh, water in L.A must give chicks whatever complex the little dank-maid's main man had, or some shit...

"DAMN, SON, YOU WORK QUICK!" Yumi pretty much shouted, but it was a bit more emphasized and obnoxious than it was loud, "Uh, I guess I'll just go to the room ahead of you and let you two do your thang... which will probably involve many thangs,uh... I-in thangs..."

Aight, now this was just getting straight up disturbing...

Well, WHATEVER, Yumi supposed!

It aint non o' her biznazz.

She took out her phone, and started playing, what she felt, was an appropriate song:

"YOU GOT DIS, BRO. YOU GOT THIS!" Yumi encouraged him, heavily patting him on the shoulder while winking at him.

"Really? DAT SONG!? Dat song's so gosh dang lame, though..." Misty crossed her arms and kinda just gave the G.S.U.N Tokyo-unit leader an unimpressed stare as the song played.

"YOU'RE SO G'DAMN LAME, YO DAMN PIG-TAILS COULD BE USED AS A DAMN HELICOPTER! BOOM!" Yumi immediately turned it around on the lame-ass fire-tails, motioning her very accusatory pointing at the secretary as if her hand was a gun, literally "shotting" some "epic shade" at her.

"Ya knew when ya points at sum'un ya always got three fingers pointin' back at ya'll!" Misty deflected the "shot" by making what she felt was a good point.

Yumi, letting that counter sink in a moment, examined her hand for a second, then had an idea.

"BOOM!" Yumi again "shot" Misty, but this time pointing at her with ALL OF HER FINGERS, using the entirety of her arm as a "gun".

HA! SUCK ON THESE.... er, non-existent nuts cuz Yumi don't roll that way, tho.

"Oh ma gawd, dat's amazin'...!" Misty gasped, genuinely impressed.

"Yeah, I know I am, girl," Yumi smirked, arrogantly readjusting her vest and blingage, now just about to ace this lame-ass place and head to her room.

Sansy gonna have fun, he gonna do it on THEIR BED THO, and Yumi knows Sanshiro be feeling her.

"Er, right den..." Misty cleared her throat sheepishly, noticing the two new Supers who had entered the room and saw everything, adding, "U-uh, well, Ah dun USUALLY DO TOURS, but, uh... If'n it'll keep ya'll from telling my boss 'bout all dat, I'd be happy to give ya a tour!"

Huh... That was weird... Where did that blind boy go...?

Didn't he also need help with something?

Did a blind boy seriously run away from her?!

He probably ran off after that other hero he had a stare-down competition with...

Anyway, there were two more heroes here who needed her attention!

Mega-Girl flew through the skies (after her unfortunate encounter), both deciding it was best to cut their losses and avoid the police that were already on their way.

She wasn't feeling too good after everything... but at least the man BK executed would be buried properly.

Still, however... She couldn't help that horrid feeling of her stomach lurching after this...

What will she tell Nega...?

That she failed to stopped a crazed vigilante? That someone died because of it...?

One would think that, after a year of training, she would be better at this...

This was the only thing that gave this pathetic girl meaning... And she wasn't even doing THIS right...

Mega-Girl pushed these feelings to the back of her mind, knowing if she kept flying too unfocused she could crash into a building and hurt herself OR she could fly too close to a birdie and almost incinerate it.

Keep your head in the game, Mega-Girl!

"I-I just have to get back to G.S.U.N a-and... and tell Nega... Tell him what a failure I am..." She thought to herself while soaring.

Again, as she was she was flying, her visor was picking up something as she passed the more upscale part of town.

A theif?

A robber?

Who on earth was stealing in broad daylight?!

"What in the world...?!" The tiny pink "Super" honed in on the reading.

It was one of the more wealthier Manors to be sure, though Mega for sure was NOT familiar with the neighborhood.

"Halt. What are you doing?" She signed as she landed before him.

Max smiled at Alistair. "Thank you," he said to the kind police officer. He was really happy to have someone to help him. He then turned to look at GSUN. He'd traveled very far to get here... and Alistair's thoughts weren't far off. He'd lost a lot to get here, but here he finally was. He began walking up the steps to GSUN, eager and nervous to begin.

Sanshiro internally groaned at Yumi's actions. She was always one for theatrics, that was undebatable. He had no intentions of accepting this woman's advances, but Yumi seemed to simply accept it. He looked down at the woman. "Please, cease your advances." Morph grinned.

"Oh yeah, big guy?" She leaned in and whispered in his ear. "Or what?" Sanshiro frowned and slightly displayed his sword in his bag. Morph chuckled.

"Oh, alright, if you insist." She stepped away from him and looked him up and down and shrugged. "I can already tell there's no winning with you. I'm not an idiot..." she laughed. "Although many might beg to differ."

Sanshiro moved past her and shook his head.

"なぜアメリカ人はとても奇妙なのですか?"
(Naze Amerika hito wa totemo kimyōna nodesu ka?)
(Why are Americans so strange?), he muttered under his breath.

Morph grinned and turned back to him.

"それは鈍いよりも奇妙である方が良い"
(Sore wa nibui yori mo kimyōdearu kata ga yoi)
(It is better to be strange than dull)

Sanshiro paused and looked back at Morph, who simply grinned and waved, turning to Misty. Sanshiro paused for a few moments, interested that she knew Japanese, before turning and leaving to find Yumi.

Sanshiro found the room that Yumi and himself was staying at, and entered.

Morph laughed with Misty. "Oh man, that guy's a riot." She then turned and noticed multiple people by the desk. "Yo," she said with a nod.

Lux sighes and punches Nega in the shoulder hard. "And you say I have too much pride. Hello Mr. Kettle, My name is Pot." He says with a smirk. "I just know you'd never let me hear the end of it if we destroy 5 city blocks in a battle. With that, I'll say goodbye for now." He says before he turns invisible. One might breifly here footsteps for a second or two before Lux appears to have faded out of existance. Minako Minako

Dante quickly gives chase to this mysterious super as he tries to regain his senses, and almost trips on the oncoming stairs. "DOH!! These stairs will be the death of me..."

As Dante carefully puts one foot in front of the other, he swiftly catches up behind the super.

"Hey! How ya doin'? Can you slow down a bit? Makes it kinda hard to talk to you when you're running away!" Dante says to the super as he begins running at a faster rate.

Breaking another chip in two with her bite the young woman paused while looking out on the cityscape below. She noticed the people slugging their ways across each path and eyes buried in the luminescent scenes in their hands, she dipped her head into her palm, a slight sigh escaped. The young woman's jawline tightened up as her eyes began to lower, suddenly her leg began to jitter, she had an itch....it was a bit deeper then the skin but shallow.

A grin started to fix on her lips, but just as quickly she moved her gaze... No...won't do that...then I'd be as crazy as all of these people here... The fluttering thought was caught and held back, another more dissatisfied sigh was let out as she took up the chips and began her crunches again.

The woman looked to the rift again, just as her gaze had settled on a lone crosswalk, something zipped past, it was a bit of a blur but it was...pink? Her brow perked and she couldn't help but deepen her gaze and move to adjust her view, dipping her head into the blue she saw the cause of her interruption, it was a pink something moving quickly through the skies, it was small...but not small enough to be a drone... K.D. finally had some sort of stimulation, her view angle was turned but she was able to see where the person was heading too, she wasn't familiar with the place but since she saw it she could play with the distance.

The young woman plucked her head free only after another warp had opened up further ahead, as it tore open next to her she looked around but she didn't see anything pink, gazing out further she noticed it was turned around...An annoyed look twikled in her eye before she opens yet other but this time she took an aerial view to encompass the whole scene. A smile spread as she saw the scene, but as she heard the person's voice, she paused, "Wait...is that a machine....?" She was pretty far from view and the voice that she did hear sounded electronic. She then noticed the other person the "bot" was talking with.

Rike loved the feeling of adrenaline coursing through his body, the rush of running across rooftops. Still, there was always the knowledge that this running while obviously helpful, was somewhat pointless. Then again sometimes he felt that he could just have a leisurely stroll back to his apartment and the great law enforcement of this neighbourhood would still have the utmost difficulty in catching him. Hard to consider yourself a great thief when those who standing your way are so beneath your level. Still, no time to think about that know, as with another leap The Phantom made it to another rooftop.

As it he did felt a strange tinge in the air. Like an intense, controlled heat was nearby. Soon he figured out what it was. A woman in a mechanical suit of sorts, or as she called herself Mega-Girl. One of these cities from outset super powered tunnel visioned heroes. Rike felt a mix of fear and excitement hit him. He had never gone up against someone with an enhanced skill set before. This could be fun if he stayed on his toes. Doing as she instructed, the master thief stood still, stands in a gentile fashion with his umbrella. "Who me, oh you know just going out for a daily run, the doctor says it helps with my cardio," he says in a very sarcastic cheery tone. "Now if excuse me you ridiculous looking pink tin can, I have places to be," he says running past her an leaping to another rooftop. As he did he prepared his taser.

"Well maybe because I am not interested in what you have to say. Everytime my powers decide to pop out you dolts try and recruit me. Which the answer is still no by the way!" Jack quickly turned leaving some electricity behind him.

Achyuta visibly cringed as Yumi spoke, her words sounding less than pleasing to his ears. "Excuse me," he said in a questioning tone, completely and utterly lost as to what some of her terms even meant. Before he could get his answer, however, he noticed out of the corner of his eye two shapes darting into the stairwell. This place was full of crazies and idiots... Turning back, he noticed both Yumi and Sanshiro, who had been having a one-sided flirt with a rather undressed woman who left nothing at all to the imagination. It only took a flash of something in his bag to make the woman back off, some horrendous excuse for music playing in the background all the while. Was it always like this here...? Once Sanshiro had made his leave, Achyuta took a moment to study Morph's features, maybe a bit too long. It was only that he went to her FACE when she addressed him directly. He looked her in the eye's with his own, but instead of speaking, he turned back to Misty to answer her question. "You have my word. Shall we begin?"
