"Évelyne Zéphyrine d'Ambre d'Albine de Blanche. Just call me Évelyne." She replied back. Just as she was about to take another shot, Évelyne caught little "Darkness" out of the corner of her eye. "Get over here and help me with this," She shouted and waved at the boy. She took another shot of her Mana Beam, which was slowly improving to the point where she didn't need to focus as much. "So, what's your skill set? I haven't seen you fight." She asked Vena.

(if he decides to join) She then looked to the young mage and said, "I need you to take a look at this and tell me what's lacking." She extended her arm palm facing upwards and focused her mana to create a bullet made out of it. It glowed blue and lines could be seen across it like a frame.

"Hopefully you won't have to see me fight." She said with a slight smile."Skill set. Hmm" Vena thought for a moment whether it mattered that she knew and decided it didn't. "I'm a creationist. Meaning I use magic to make shapes and other object to fight with. Total mana based." She noticed Évelyne waving to someone she didn't know. If he walked over she would introduce herself, but other than that she didn't care much for him. Most of her thought was focused on the eastern city, and whether or not Évelyne's ability had use to her.

Angra Mainyu
Location: Culexis Academy - Later ???

The young demon nodded and headed out of the small room, bow in his hands and quiver ready. He tried to sense the nearest mana source and, to his advantage, there was one very near. Angra began running towards the source of this intense magical presence and, to his surprise...It was no village. It was the Culexis Academy, a rather famous School of Wizardry and Witchcraft. He smirked and sneaked in, getting in a high position to scout the area. The bell rang exactly five times and all the students began rushing the hallways to reach the courtyard. He observed the area and noticed the teachers in the courtyard, watching over the kids. He leaped down in the courtyard, landing softly on his feet. He crouched, hiding behind a small bush hoping nobody saw him fall. He took a deep breath and began sneaking across the courtyard, using bushes, trees and anything large enough to work as a cover. Upon reaching a teacher, he sneaked up behind him and drew a snake in the air. A small arrow appeared in his hand. Its point was covered in a purple-ish goo. He grabbed the teacher by the neck, wrapping his arm around it and squeezing it tight, as he stabbed the arrow in the teacher's leg. The liquid entered the man's bloodstream and, after some seconds rear-choked the teacher, he fell asleep. He put the teacher's unconscious body over his shoulder and sneaked back onto the roof, hiding his body behind a small tower. With the same method, he captured another 4 teachers in about three hours. He put them all in a bag after injecting some more sleeping poison in them and brought them back to the small room he came from. "Well, I guess I will have a snack." He said, chuckling light-heartedly and heading towards the castle's kitchen. He opened the drawer and found a big loaf of bread. He smiled and took it, starting to eat it, slowly consuming it bite after bite.

The boy watched Evelyne perform the magecraft, then commented. "I don't know what you want to achieve, so you will have to tell me. All I can help you with for now is to advise you to change the type of spell you use for bullets. You are using mana to create bullets as permanent objects, but you'll shoot them shortly afterward either way, right? It would be much more efficient to stop using Creation magic and use Gradation Air instead. They are fundamentally the same things, but the former creates objects that last. Ones that are one-hundred percent physical, made up of atoms and molecules, compounds that either exist or don't. The latter merely shapes mana into a hardened form and gives it a light-reflection that makes it seem like a real object, although it can be as hard, if not harder than a real object. The only con to them is that they disappear after some time, thus the name 'Gradation Air,' because the object doesn't really exist and it slowly fades away." As he spoke, the boy slid through the pages of a larger tome of magic he was given by Mephisto for research purposes. He stopped the pages with his pointing finger, then showed Evelyne a specific page. "Oh, geez... It should be somewhere around here... I haven't practiced Gradation Air before... anything from the whole school, actually."

"See?" He asked turning the book in the woman's direction and showing her a specific paragraph with his finger. The boy reached his hand out to Evelyne, facing upwards and with an open palm. Despite clearly casting the spell for the first time in his life, he had assembled the mana in the nearby air and it formed itself in his hand, molded into looking like a perfectly shaped musket bullet. For a moment, it was glowing with a blue, sharp light, seemingly made out of it, but then it gained the actual appearance and properties of a bullet, black as a cold stone and just as hard. This was the trait of an innate sorcerer, someone born with the traits of a mage. One that can cast spells without studying them too long. "It works just like a bullet, but you need to shoot it in around 10 minutes or it will start to gradually disappear."

(Not adding spell to list in CS, cus I only add ones that he will use often and he considers important of remembering and stuff.)

Agamemnon peeked out of the door and saw old, experienced mages lying inside of a bag, suspiciously close to his altar. "Yes, perfect." Agamemnon took out his ritual dagger and neared the bag, starting to stab it viciously, as blood poured out. The ritual dagger reached the limit of the souls that can be contained within, so Agamemnon walked through the dark halls of his hideout and reached the room where a large group, of around 50 Cultists was praying to the red-black portal. Agamemnon opened a small hatch at the pommel of the dagger and directed it towards the portal, as souls poured out, sacrificed to the ritual.

Agamemnon supposed, watching his servant eat a loaf of stale, old bread. "You can take an hour of rest, then I need you to go out for more souls." Agamemnon started cleaning blood off of the dagger using a white cloth.

"Looks like I'm in good company then, a general mage and a creation mage." She looked at the page that little darkness held open. "Oommfff, I remember this. Tried to do this when I was younger. Doesn't quite work well for me, since the magical effect that I enchant the bullets with deplete with the bullet itself. I would rather have a creation-based bullet, lets me treat it more like an actually bullet and give me more room to use Grand Salvo." She took the bullet out of his hand and enchanted it with Feu. Immediately, it turned red and small flames could be seen floating around it. All of which was quickly dimming. Loading it into the rifle, she fired it immediately. It let loose a fireball, which might've been impressive, but to those who've seen her Feu bullets, very lacking in firepower. "Ya, I need a proper creation-based bullet. I was hoping you can help me look at my mana structure and see how to improve it to maintain it's strength to resist the pressure of the explosion. Mana composition isn't exactly my strong suit, even if I know how a bullet should be structure."

For a moment it looked as if Vena should answer. However even though she's a creationist her magic still works very different from typical creation magic. Hers doesn't turn into the object, it simply stays as red energy. However she can control what it does due to the crystal. Hers also does have somewhat of a time basis and can be broken to make it disappear. "Personally I can't help you. My magic doesn't exactly work as traditional Creation magic does. As far as I can council wisdom. It looks fine." She said amusing herself.

"I can't exactly help you with that," the boy sighed. "If there's something wrong with their structure, that means you don't properly allocate mana to the creation, which can only be fixed with enough training and possibly experimentation, ooor... your magic circuits are too weak, which is rather hard and complex to fix, but it's unlikely to be the source of this problem." Lulu smiled towards the two women heartily. "Now that I helped you..." The boy opened his eyes. He spoke with a pleading tone and made big, soft eyes towards Evelyne, trying to charm her with his fluffy, child-like face. "Can I have some money for mana potions?"

Just as she said so, she created 5 different blue bullets, each with a different interior structure of mana concentration.

The kid caught the potions in his hands with a weird, bizarre expression then ran off without a single word coming out of his mouth. It was a mixture of embarrassment and an uncomfortable lack of space within his lower clothing areas. As soon as he was out of sight, he got a nosebleed that slowly went down from his nostrils to the chin. The boy quietly walked to his room to perform magical experiments that are most likely illegal and highly dangerous.

Vena was kind of disgusted from the scene. It was easy enough to read and she wasn't one to find amusement out of that sort of thing. Either way she didn't mind helping Évelyne a little. Perhaps it would prove useful to her later, but not in that way. "It might be better if you talked to my friend but considering she's not here I guess I will have to do. Since your firing a bullet, unlike an arrow, I won't be able to do anything fancy with the bullet. But I don't think you need me to anyway." Vena opened her hand in front of Évelyne and closed her eyes. The crystal within her chest began to glow just light enough to see it through her dark cloths. After a few moments red energy began to form in her hand and form into 5 different bullets. She modeled the size off of the bullet the kid made, because she didn't know the exact size. She opened back up her eye and said "The bullets are infused with different amounts of energy. Meaning stronger, but not heavier. Since it's created using energy and doesn't turn unto a metal, it doesn't gain almost any weight." She then handed the bullets to Évelyne in increasing order of energy investment. "I need to regain energy, but do let me know how they are." Vena made sure her skirt wasn't going to fly up and she began using Eternal Life. She levitated in the air as she regained energy.

Upon him giving a reason, and who they may face, a smile spread across the woman's face. "Ooooooh, I hope it's trolls. I reall-FUCK!" She fell face first after tripping over a large root. "Why the fuck is it so fucking dark? God damnit, that fucking sucked!" Nirvana picked herself back up, brushed the dirt off her front, and fell back in line next to him. A voice from behind them caught her attention though, so she turned to see some guy who's name she hadn't caught yet.

Never the less, he came from the guild, and he asked her a question. Well, them. "Uh, no. I haven't been on the third floor today. And I'm pretty sure frosty here doesn't know about it either." @SP3CT3R

"She's right. I haven't even ventured to the third Floor since I Arrived." Vetr replied casually, not stopping for the two. "I'm sure It'll turn up eventually. Or in someone. Either way, you find it." He added casually, as if it didn't bother him in the slightest. In actuality, he didn't. He had more important things to worry about, like this quest, and getting the guild back to it's former glory. Without anymore words, he continued off into the night. Whether or not they follow, is not his problem. He had a job to do, and an Elemental to please.

The night air was cool, and calm, as they traveled down the dark road, the moon being the only thing lighting their way. The musical sounds of the night filled the air as evening dwellers scurried about in the darkness of the forest. In Vetr's mind, it was a perfect night. in a couple more miles, they would set up camp.

As little "darkness" walked away all embarassed, Évelyne couldn't help but giggle a bit. She loved teasing the boy, his reactions was always cute. Man, how is he gonna live without Artoria. She turned back to face Vena and accepted the bullets. Looking at the strange bullets, she noticed Vena's feet lift off from the air. "I guess levitation is back in season..." She loaded the lowest power bullet into her rifle. She blinked for a bit. It feels like all I did was load an empty shell. She brought the butt of the rifle to her shoulder and took her stance. Pulling the trigger, she felt the explosion occur in the firing chamber but didn't feel the any change in weight. In the distance it hit the piece of wood.

"Heavens... Like Zephyr but on 10%." Quickly she reloaded and and fired three more, progressively getting more and more surprised at how nice the trajectory went. Looking at the last one, she picked up her own bullets and tried to warp it to match whatever she could gain from observation. Taking her own bullets, she reloaded her rifle and pointed it forward. A pull of the trigger and a solid sound came out. A flash of blue light came out, but she watched at the bullet fractured into shrapnel in the air. "Well it's getting better." She picked up her other bullets and reformed it to be closer to Vena's. Each time she fired, it got closer and closer to being a normal bullet.

She picked up next mana potion and tried to form more bullets. After several more iterations, she was about confident she could form them in the firing chamber itself, which would make the whole process fast. She once again let the mana flow to her rifle and shaped a bullet inside it, letting the residue of the previous bullets in the rifle shape how it should be. With this shot, it really felt like it was coming together, and it felt much better than her own bullets. If I use the Pacfiicatuer to help form the bullet, then it'll be cleaner for it, although this would be quite the toll on my mana. She took more mana potions and began firing more and more shots until she could form the bullet without needing to dedicate half her focus.

The Hunger was always brutal, making him almost feral, but he managed to get enough conscience enough to not attack people on the highways. After about three days on the forest, seeking a prey, he finally got what he needed: A stag was caught in one of his traps, and he managed to feast. It was about three more days for him to gather enough forces to come back.

After returning, he head about Vetr going on a mission, and a certain Ice Cave to visit. Nymkos talked to Mephisto about his disappearance, and applied himself to the mission Vetr went. It was time for him to go and earn his place on the Guild.

Once she saw her traveling buddy had wandered off without her, she quickly hurried to catch up. It was easier this tine, as she could see a little bwtter, she didn't trip over anything and could easily over bumbing into trees and whatever else was there. Truthfully, she wanted a touch or something, but she didn't grab one not had the stuff to make one right now. Nirvana didn't expect it to get as dark as it it so quickly.

She eventually fell in line beside him rather than behind him, so she could talk a bit. "So Frosty, why did a join the little band of misfits we got going on back there?"

Having awoken from his sleep a while ago, the Demigod noticed a lack in the supply of food. He had to go hunting, as the river nearby wasn't home to any edible fish and the nearest lake was too far away. The blue-haired man looked at his armor, made from several plates of mithril. Although it was a drag, a hunt was a hunt, and these damned forests were enchanted. It isn't the first time today that he walked into a human-eating fairy, and the other day he saw a huge balverine that towered over him, being as large as two men. The gauntlets were probably the most annoying part. Although they serve as a good protection and can really dampen the backlash of a weapon clashing against something, they traded quite a bit of dexterity in exchange. Hopefully, it had been worth it.

Fully armored, the man made a patrol through the forest and found the rotting remnants of meat. "Ugh, what is this?" He took a step back, shielding his nose in disgust. He looked down on the thing he found. It was decaying... something. It was hard to guess, although after noticing the presentable antlers that laid not far off, he could guess it was an animal from the deer family. 'What could eat a whole deer? I'm not sure if that's deeply impressive, or plainly disgusting,' the man thought. He waved his other hand around, trying to get the bad smell away. He searched the area once again, trying to find any kind of lead on what could have done this, but there was nothing. Should anything have consumed that stag, it was long gone and all tracks it left were destroyed by either rain or dust.

~Later~

The man was making his way through the wild jungle, pulling the branches that covered his sight to the left and right using his hands, he found a small field full of berry bushes. They wouldn't be enough to satisfy Lugal's demands for breakfast, but it was better than nothing. After having consumed many of them, and leaving twice the amount for later, a little less than a quarter of the bushes were entirely emptied. He left the rest to the local wildlife and laid down on a tree that fell over long ago, a hollowed-out bark. He put his right leg along with it, while his left remained on the ground. He closed his eyes and took a minute of rest before he heard sounds not so far away. A conversation. "
Probably more of these damned fairies, I'll show them," he picked up his spear; Hauteclair and got up.

The man suddenly jumped out of the bushes, his spear held firmly in his two hands and pointed towards the three, but then his eyebrows rose in surprise. "
Oh? I was expecting man-eating fairies. Who are you two, either way?" He saw what looked to be a human woman and man, both roughly the same age as him. "What is your business in these woods?"

The demon laughed as he told his knights to go and patrol this floor, as it had been cleaned. Several more and all of the Fort's underground would be wiped clean of any monsters. Being a Genre Savvy, as well as the type of guy to break the 4th wall from time to time, Mephisto felt a boss fight was coming up, one that would inadvertently require the help of the guildmembers.

Then, the demon's pocket started to vibrate and glow blue, as it made a weird, buzzing sound. He pulled his Seal of Membership out and took the call. "Youlo?" The demon greeted. "Oh, Charles! How's that spying mission going?!" The demon jumped back and levitated mid-air while being in a lying position. It made him look like he was on an invisible bed. "Mhm! Mhm. Mhm? Oh? Mhm." Mephisto made the usual sounds you hear a half-interested person make during a phone call. "As in, someone's killing them, eh? Alright, I have this one handled. Thanks for the report," the demon hung up, then with a flash of pink color... teleported away. Something was going on. Something sinister.

"Quod quaeso, infinita laminis. Fit ex ferro et aere ficti videantur," the boy chanted a two-phrase incantation in a gothic language. This was enough to classify as a small-scale ritual of its own. The small chalk runes scribed on the paper before him with ink started to glow ominously... and then they created what seemed to be a spatially and dimensionally distorted steel ingot. He was trying to ignore the law of equivalent exchange and create something from nothing, although this item would be truly manifested. Items created via Creation do indeed have physical forms, but they still count as magical. He wanted to achieve a true form of bread, that is not magical, but ordinary...

But then, the bread started to distort further from improper mana allocation and exploded in a flash into the boy's face, sending him flying back. Darkness landed on his butt and frowned. "Alright, attempt at true-bread creation number 15... failed. I think I'll take a break."

The boy walked down the stairs and towards the bar. The boy sat behind the counter and looked at whomever was on the other side. "Do you sell anything that won't kill my liver or brain in one sip?" The boy inquired as politely as he could. Alteras Alteras

Vetr was about to respond to his feminine companion when he was cut off by the appearance of both Nymkos showing up followed by a fellow bursting from the bushes with a spear at bear. "You better put that stick away before you poke your eye out... Or I do it for you..." The Frost growled standing between the stranger and his guildmates. "We are on official guild business... Now I ask that you move along, so that me and my companions can continue on our way. I'd rather not waste the potential for violence on the likes of you..." He continued, ice creeping across his platemail, as the air rapidly cooled around the frost. The tension in the air was electrified with the Frost's bloodlust and murderous intent.

It had been a while since Vetr had a good fight, let alone killed anything. And with the Stress of getting the guild back up and running, he had a lot of pent up aggression begging to be unleashed on the poor souls that evoked his ire. Without another word said, his gaze said all that needed to be said on the matter. Get the Fuck out of here or be cut down.

Nymkos was finally able to catch up to Vetr and the unknown woman. He had to dash through the woods, right after covering his tracks. He was ashamed of his animalistic and feral self, but the most important part was to not let anyone know about it. The last thing he needs is a hunt for his head.
After the Hunger ends, Nymkos suffers from a severe exhaustion. His force of will, strentghened by his escape from the temple, manages to supress the curse, making it back down from his mind. In the week he vanished, he holed up in a hollow tree trunk in the deeper parts of the forest, almost hibernating, regaining his strength. After that, it was a just a matter of returning to the guild, checking in with Mephisto and then catching up with his guildmates. He felt that if he were to stay in Fort Black forever, he would never find more clues for his condition.
The forest proved much more easy to traverse, since he wasn't Hungry anymore. Jumping from tree to tree, runing and dodging roots, it was a matter of hours to reach Vetr and the other girl. He manuvered himself to the clear part of the path, making sure they would have enough vision of him to know that it's actually him and not another monster. He didn't see the third individual until he approached them. "Phew, I finally reached you. Reporting for duty, I guess?"

The Lancer didn't seem too startled by the Frost's threat, but nevertheless, he detracted his spear back behind his back as a gesture of peace. "I see I have stumbled across a hardy warrior. Good, that is the demeanor I am most used to seeing, but I think our battle is one for another day. Today, I am hunting different prey." The demigod had a moderately neutral, somewhat indifferent facial expression. He didn't seem to be particularly hostile, but neither was he very inviting. "Speaking of which, I have one last question before I leave you on your way. Have any of you seen a huge beast in this area? One vicious and hungry enough to consume a whole stag. I've picked up the sight of its victim some time ago, but I couldn't find any tracks."

As soon as Nymkos came along, Lugal tightened his grip on the spear, slightly alerted. His brain reacted naturally, it started forming a battle plan. He wanted to rush straight at the monster and try to pierce its chest with his spear. In fact, he had pointed the spear forward and was about to charge, but then the monster spoke. A living proof of its sentience, and it seemed to have been a friend of the two he stumbled upon. Lugal once again took his spear somewhat back, to show less hostility. "It should be his size, but wild and vicious," the demigod pointed his finger towards Nymkos, without explaining. "Speaking of which," he said, this time directly to the drider. "What are you? You have the upper body of a drow, but the lower body of a monster. I have not seen such a thing as you in my life. You are frightening and are therefore fortunate to have approached openly. Had I found you in the forest, without you noticing me - This meeting would have gone sideways." His voice was rather coarse, uninviting. Clearly, he did not have the best opinion of the drider.

With a "Humph" and a tap of his cane in the dirt, the gentleman steadily approached the fort entrance. Groque watched on, worrying all the time about his high-paying employer. Aleksi was very aware of his surroundings, he noticed in the previous few minutes that there were several gunshots that came from inside the fort walls. Practice, he hoped.

Gloved hands wrapped around the metal gate bars as Aleksi stared beyond them, unable to see another living soul. "Hello?! Is anyone there?! I am here regarding my invitation, Aleksander Kharzenti, Esquire." Aleksi called out. Upon receiving no response for quite some time, the robber baron frowned and pulled his pistol out of his coat. In his mind, this was an appropriate way to summon entrance to the fort, given that no one was watching the entrance. Using one finger to plug his ear, he raised his finely crafted dueling pistol to the sky and squeezed the trigger. A loud
boom was accompanied by a light cloud of smoke jettisoning out of the pistol. Groque, who was far enough away to not be able to tell what was happening, jumped off of his driver's seat and ducked for cover under the carriage in a start.

If no one came to allow him entrance after that commotion, then Aleksander would retire back to Fairfax in quite a disgruntled mood. It was no short journey from his home city to Fort Black; time was money and he would find out who played this magical little trick on him, they would pay for his lost time.

"You are being incredibly rude right now." The drider said with a raised brow. "The right question is 'Who are you', not 'What are you'. I'm Nymkos Telena, ranger of the Guild of Heroes." The drider pulled his Seal, showing him to the man. "As regarding to what am I..." He sighed, and then turned aside. "I'm a drider. Like you said, half drow, half spider. I think that's all you need to know." He crossed his arms, approaching the man slowly. "So, you attack anyone, providing they aren't aesthetically pleasing to you? Have you ever looked at a mirror?" He said with a scowl. Nymkos hated people like that. "But let's forget this npleasant comment, right?" He turned to Vetr. "I brought some more provisions. There's cured venison, bread and two full waterskins. I hope it'll hold for the trip back."

During her training, she went through 12 mana potions and have finally finished her new spell, Mana Bullet. It was quite nice, but it had it's own set of limitations, such as not being able to enchant it to the same strength as normal bullets, something about it conflicting with the internal mana structure. In any case, her bullet was ready and she was confident that she could use it with little to no concentration.

It was at that point in which she heard another gun shot. Flintlock Pistol, She instantly looked in the direction of it and with her rifle, walked toward the entrance. Outside she saw a carriage, and a man. "Barron Kharzenti? What brings you here to Fort Black. There's no money to take here." She said with both surprise and a tease. Évelyne was familiar with the man, viewed by the nobles in Fairfax as a threat to their wealth and power. Even her own family name, the famed Blanche of the Resistance, was diminishing in power in Fairfax compared to him.

It was a while since they setup the bar. They've been bringing in their alcohol and some more from the cellars left in the Fort. Deon was quite happy, since no major incident has occurred as of yet. He was cleaning a glass when the young boy of the Adamant walked up. With a chuckle, he said, "Have milk, juice, and something that's been pretty popular lately." He pulled out a jug. It was bright orange inside. With a shake, bubbles in mass suddenly appeared and floated upwards. "It's called Clementine, it's one of a new and growing group of drinks called Carbonated Drinks, or soft drinks. It gives your mouth a nice fizzy feel and works quite well with a number of potions." He said as he poured it into a glass. Bubbles formed and foam appeared momentarily as the sound of a million bubbles popped in and out of existence. "Would you like some?"

The woman decided it wasn't a good idea to step in just yet. They were just talking, si she stayed silent. Her attention fell on their surroundings, what she could make out in the dark, but she still listened. Ridiculous ramblings of immature boys who wants to get their blades wet. "Boys, I hate to break up this little... party a got going on, but we should get moving Frosty. You too I guess, you're from the guild too." "Excuse me, then. But when I see a huge chimera, I don't assume it will be a friendly companion. I assume it wishes for my death. Where I come from, monsters come in different shapes and sizes," the man responded to Nymkos' words. "Then again, I suppose I was rude. Apologies, Nymkos." The man leaned back upon hearing the rest of the drider's story, surprised. Clearly, he wasn't a local, as he asked. "The Guild of Heroes? What's that? Who puts a label of heroism on a Guild and why?" He looked... rather perplexed. "Agh, nevermind. I have taken too much of your time. Carry on." The man walked past all three of them, heading where they came from. "Oh, by the way." He turned around, his face wasn't exactly what you'd call a smug smile, but he was still smiling slightly. "The road ahead is treacherous. I've seen balverines, man-eating fairies and I suspect there might be a troll nest nearby. And then there's that huge, weird monster I'm hunting. Good luck." The man walked off afterward.

The young boy nodded and laid a copper aquila on the counter, hoping it had been enough. "Yes, please," he included afterward. His voice was very pleasant and joyful. After a day of failed experiments, it was good to take a short break from all of that stressful... how to even put it. Stressful education? Yes, that is an adequate term for what Lulu had been doing. Although, the boy was wondering where his sister was. He hadn't seen her nearly all day.

Suddenly, with a popping sound, a cloud of pink dust appeared, and as it disappeared, Mephisto walked out. The sharply dressed avant-garde demon stared at the new arrival, then said. "My, oh my. Smells like an ill omen from kilometers away." Then Mephisto approached the businessman with very little, yet quick steps. Mephisto leaned forth, into Alexander's face. "What's up, big boy? How're ya?" Knowing about the truth and thinking that Alexander was a demon. Little did Mephisto know that he was actually possessed, so he had made the mistake in hopes of brotherly bonding with another denizen of the netherworld.
