Yujin got up from her desk and gathered up her books. "So... that was a thing." She walked to the door of the classroom, turning Mint's way and wondering if she would follow. "Do you want to do anything while we're waiting on our teams? Either of you," she said, in a rare moment of realizing it'd be rude to totally exclude Llwyd. He didn't seem annoying - rather, cool and calm. The type of person Yujin would enjoy on her team, not that she could change anything now. Her goal was to do a bit of exploring the school, perhaps for secret passageways, perhaps for something else.

If Ulexa didn't already have some idea of how standoffish Azure could be, she would've said something right away. But she did, and besides, CuCu had a hold on her. It made her head feel a little fuzzy, to have so much of someone's affection directed at her - especially CuCu's. So, she was more focused on glancing awkwardly at the kind bluenette and placing a hand on her wrist. It felt cuddly, so why not?

Gorman did say something. "I'm curious as to why you decided to take this class, Azure," he said in his quick, clipped manner. "Though I respect that you don't have an explanation - which is a glorious mystery in itself - I wonder why you were interested in world religions and lore."

"We're almost finished with the lab," Palma told the new student as he stepped coolly into her classroom. He was actually very late - but today's lab was simple, so she'd let it slide. "Shoot a round of burn dust into the floor. If your weapon doesn't facilitate dust rounds, you may use the cartridges or crystals. This lab is merely to observe the basics of dust in a compact form; future assignments won't be so simple."

As soon as Akashi (she'd read the photo roster, yes, she was prepared) was finished with his lab, she would dismiss the class. Today wasn't meant to be complicated; it was just to demonstrate the hands-on nature of this class and let everyone put their roots down.

Dawn blushed as she walked to Hestia, "H-hey um...Hestia? Do you think you can show me other moves you do with fire? You look so beautiful when you do things with fire." Dawn fiddled with her thumbs looking down, What am I doing?! I have no chance with her! She probably doesn't even think I am cool at all. Or that I'm worthwhile to talk to. All I am is an emotional cat faunus that is scared to be alone, but likes to be alone. What would Rua think of this?! Is my feelings for Rua real?! Or are they just imaginary?! I think they are real....But after seeing Hestia and her be-b-b-eauty....I don't know anymore. All my feelings are jumbled up and mixed up, I don't know anymore. M-maybe I should just hide? Run away and hide?

"GLADLY!" Hestia declared, enthusiastic that she was going to get a chance to show off her 'Super Amazing Power Special Moves'. "Flaaaaaaaaaaming Swoooooord!" The sword was engulfed in a fire made in the image of an even bigger sword. Of course, she did care about safety and only made the sword twice as thick and tall than it usually was. "See? Pretty cool isn't it! Oh, not cool, pretty hot. It's pretty hot. Like me!~" She rambled, quickly stabbed the flame blade into the floor. "And thank you! I think you look beautiful too!" She suddenly put out the fire and dragged Dawn closer. "Look! Look Andy! I made a new friend!"

Andromeda was so very used to her twin's ability to show off. She had a natural affinity for fire and when one encouraged her... (Andromeda was looking at Dawn here!) It could get... quite out of hand. With a glared thrown the redhead who wasn't her sister's way, she focused her gaze on Hestia. "Oh, yes, I see," Andromeda commented, looking between the two young women; Hestia holding Dawn close. With a roll of her eyes, the younger twin glanced over at the teach, who was talking to Mr. Latepants.

Rua, as affable as always, took it upon herself to weigh in on this situation. "Oh, come on, Azure-tan! No need to be like that! I'm sure it could matter somehow!" She took the moment to wonder about it herself. Only able to remember maybe two stories of her own, that she could recall from her youth. Again, her parents weren't the story-telling type, neither were they into myths and legends, more practical, the both of them.

"OH! Sir! Hehe! Isn't it obvious?" The bluenette questioned, with a tilt of her head, her long blue locks brushing over Ulexa she was right up against. "Why she took the class, I mean? Hehe! Same reason I did!" She grabbed Ulexa swiftly, and pulled her right up against her, clutching her firmly, but not too hard, and giving her a nuzzle cutely. "Becuzza Ui-Ui! Oh, hehe, of course I mean, cuzza Merah-chan is here! I mean she joined the class for Merah-chan, like I did for Ui-Ui!"

Dawn blushed more as her cheeks were red as fire. When tossed a glare she looked down as she felt bad about being with her. But her twin may be a problem if something were to happen between us. She might get mad at us and may hurt me. "Y-yeah...friend...hey um....Ms. Nikos. (talking to Andy) Why did you glare at me?" She moved slowly behind Hestia as she got shyer and scaredier. She is scary. Unlike Hestia, she doesn't look inviting. Hestia looks more nicer, sweeter, kinder, and inviting.

"Although I do not have a theory on how the world began or came to be, I do have some interest in other take and understanding on the world." Azure said with a calm composure and a bit of a higher up kind of tone. "I am intrigued on this topic and wish to exceed at it." She said as she sighed to herself. She did not want to answer full on truthfully but semi-truthfully would be enough. She was interested in this topic, as her mother had grazed over it and not come back to it from her experiences here.

Ulexa was barely able to squeak, "B-Because of me?" as CuCu pulled her into ... hug? Nuzzle? She leaned into the nuzzle as she tried to compose herself. It was just CuCu. Well, not just CuCu. More like, the mauve-eyed girl was not trying to intimidate her. She was encouraging Ulexa, truly. "I mean -- I'm truly flattered that CuCu wants to learn about this with me."

She refrained from commenting on Azure, halfway flustered with CuCu, and halfway growing annoyed with Azure. What was that about her mother, anyway? When Ulexa had asked her own mother about the heroes of the Battle of Beacon, she'd been told of an eager but idealistic young girl, a blonde who was more fallible than she thought, a troubled and mysterious rogue, and an incredibly spoiled rich girl. Wasn't that Mama Schnee? Maybe Mother had always spoken of Weiss with great disdain due to their class differences, a bias, but Ulexa knew she was divided from the upper class, especially when the upper-class person in question was so... aloof.

Gorman did have a response, however. "It's always good to listen to different interpretations than your own, whether those interpretations be religious, scientific, or even that these matters are beyond man's comprehension. All of you are free to go now; we will spend more time on specific creation stories next rotation."

Ulexa didn't get up right away. She glanced at Merah, seemingly very embarrassed, and sat back to wonder how tumultuous it could be to have as much contact with CuCu as Azure had with Merah. CuCu did seem to have a penchant for creating blushes and chaos... but also new, warm feelings and encouragement. If nothing else, carrying on their friendship would make Ulexa's life much more interesting. She welcomed it.

As soon as Akashi had finished with his lab work, Palma snapped her fingers again with a thunderous, dust-induced crack. "Good work, everyone. That will be all for today. Having gauged your proficiencies with dust, expect to see a challenge next rotation... but that's for next time! Enjoy the rest of your day!" she announced with a warm smile. She expected her students to start filing out of the room. As soon as they did, it would be time for her to build.

Azure nodded and stood up from her seat. "Merah, meet me in the hallway. As I said before, I would like to talk with you alone...." She said as she sighed and started to walk out of the classroom. 'You are going to do it...' she thought to herself hoping to help boost her confidence. "I would also like to mention that you should not talk so loudly during class... Could barely pay attention.." She said with a huff as she turned around and left into the hallway, where she waited for Merah. She was going to bring her to the dorm so the could talk privately.

With Mr. Latepants flourishing his weapon and Dust behind her like some wild madman. That she honestly, couldn't care less about, she would answer the redhead's question. Apparently, this clingy girl was threatened or something by Andromeda. Heh. Maybe she should feel that way. "Well, missy," she began in a curt tone. "You're all ogling my sister, and now you're up against her, like you've already claimed her. Such shameless display. Are you here to learn and become a better Huntress. Or are you here to make goo-goo eyes at the girls, and act like some wanton floozy?"

She paused, "I think I saw you with that blue-haired chick from before, too?.. Or was that my imagination? Hm. Are you that easy? Or that naughty, that you'd so easily jump around from girl to girl? How disgraceful."

Honestly, again, Andromeda couldn't care less. She just enjoyed tormenting others, and, if her calculations were correct, then her words were bound to strike a nerve. Then, stir something up. They were also, mostly right, to a point. If Dawn wanted to find herself a girlfriend or something, that was her business, but they were all there to train and become strong, confident, powerful Hunters/resses.

Andromeda shrugged and stepped away. Saying dismissively, "Looks like class is over."

Rua listened to the interaction between Azure and Ulexa, with a side of Merah. Or the one sided interaction. Clearly, there was some animosity there. That made sense; Azure-tan was not the most open of people. Her Ui-Ui seemed to be upset about that, and frustrated. Which, prompted Rua to cradle her head, and rub her against the bluenette's chest, trying to comfort the girl.

"Why, Merah-chan, you're so eloquent and your capacity to soothe situations is second to none! I'm in awe!" she praised the redhead. "OH! Hehe, it is, it is!" She affirmed playfully, seeing Merah's hood over her face. Reaching over, she plucked it off and tossed it back. "That's no good! If it's there, we can't see you're adorable face, hunny!! There it is! So cutes!" She peered down, seeing the redness there. "Oh, my! Are you suddenly coming down with something? Should Ui-Ui and I go find you some medicine?" Rua asked, promptly poking one of Merah's red cheeks, feeling the warmth there. With a sideways glance at Azure, she spoke up, "Oh! Unless.. Azure-tan wants to find you some medicine, instead?" she inquired. That's what it seemed to imply to Rua, hearing Azure claim to speak to Merah after class. "That's so sweet of you Azure-tan! Merah-chan was burning upsie!"

Hearing Ulexa speak up, Rua squealed, "EEE!" she once more grabbed Ulexa's head, and cradled it close to her bosom. "Ui-Ui! Yessies, because yews, yew adorbsies cloaked-girl! Wiff Ui-Ui I want to enjoy all classes!"

"EEE! Classies dismissed! Yessir, Mr. Teacher-san-sir-kun!" Rua rattled off, giving him a dip of her head. "So wise!! Words to take to heart, aren't they Ui-Ui! Come! Azure-tan will get Merah-chan her medicine, it'll be alright, but let's hang outs! Hehe!" Releasing Ulexa's cradled head, she got up quickly. As quick as she was on her feet, she was grabbing for Ulexa yet again. This time, there was no question asked. Clutching the soft-spoken girl's arm, she swung her around, onto her back to give her a piggy-back ride. Then the two were out of the class, with Rua pausing in the doorway.

"After your chat Merah-chan, Azure-tan, want to hang out, too? My backsies is always open for rides!"

Giving them a blown-kissy, Rua departed the room carrying Ulexa.

"Andromeda, what have I said about about being a nicer person?" Hestia chastised her sister before sighing and turning her attention to Dawn. "Hey, don't let what she says get to you. She's a nice person deep down..." She paused to think about something. "Veeeery deep down." She added. "Oh, she's right though, class is over. It was nice meeting you Dawn we should hang out more some time." She gave her a farewell hug and took a deep breathe. "...You smell really nice...bye~" She proceeded to skip merrily out of the room before doubling back and picking up her sword. "Almost forgot my weapon~" She left the room swiftly.

Blanc considered the class' events in silence. He was right to put a function into Oberon to allow it to use Dust and was proud to see it in action, even if it was in a training environment. He cleaned up his desk, like any good student should,and swiftly left the room. "I wonder where the rest of my team is planning to do this day. Oh well." Dawn started to growl and hiss at Andy as she froze up when Hestia was chastising her sister. She is defending me? For what purpose? I see no reason to defend someone who is as weak as me. This made Dawn smile as she hugged back, "Thats fi-I smell good?!" Dawn blushed brightly as she look down, grinding her foot into the ground blushing more, "I would love to hang out with you more." After Hestia left, she also left as she wanted to go back to the dorm to play music again. Wonder what song I shall play today~! Maybe Welcome to the Black Parade? Hmm, I dunno yet. Anyway, Hestia Nikos. She is similar, but different to Rua. The aura she produces around her is like Rua's but yet, different. Maybe I have a crush on them both? I mean, Rua doesn't care about how I feel towards her, she is probably chasing that Ulexa chick. I want Rua to myself, but after what happened on the ship, maybe trying to find someone else is a good idea, but she keeps coming into my mind, maybe we aren't meant to be. I don't know, only time will tell. Maybe fate has plans for us. I hope they are good plans that won't tear me down. Like her getting into a relationship. That will mess me up....a lot....and if that happens, something bad is going to happen.

Azure looked to Merah and sighed. "Hey Merah, needed to make sure we were alone... follow me..." She said as she led Merah to the dorms. Once they were there, she closed the door and made sure no one was in the room,. "Merah... this is.. embarrassing..." She said with a slight blush. "I... I don't know how to say this but...." She sighed and looked at her. "I sort of... have a...." From that par it was a mumble. 'COME ON AZURE!!' she yelled at herself in her mind. "Don't tell anyone... but I sort of have... a crush on you..." She said with a more serious blush. 'I can not believe I just said that..... why did I say that....' she thought to herself, while the blush spread. "I-if you tell anyone... just please don't..."

As Mint grasped her for support, Yujin was torn between following the plans she'd set and spending time alone with Mint. But she was slowly beginning to accept that not much would come of that time if they just sat in relative silence, mouths full of food. "I heard there was a secret passageway behind a painting in the hall above the commons," she offered. "Mom said... it was just an urban legend. But I want to be sure." She stepped into the hallway and looked around for others to join her in her endeavor, especially if something strange was waiting for her. "Anyone want to come with me and explore this place?"

Meanwhile, Ulexa eagerly got onto CuCu's back - well, that phrasing would imply more options than CuCu presented, but Ulexa was happy nonetheless. "Yes, let's hang out!" she said happily. "Looks like... um... that girl I don't know is exploring the school; do we want to do that? Or are we going to the commons? I heard they were setting up some sort of student employment there. A cafe. Though I don't know if you'd call that hanging out."

She'd be happy to go wherever her friend took her. Class was over, but the first day was just getting started.

'She's a nice person... deep down'. "Hmph!" Andromeda scoffed, raising her eyebrow at the redhaired chick's hissing and growling. Oh, right, she was a Faunus. Still, sorta odd... "Just remember to keep it in your pants, hunny. Settle down."

"Since when does 'niceness' matter? As long as I'm a strong warrior, that's all I need to be the best Huntress, I can be!" She watched as Hestia flirted back with Dawn, and rolled her eyes. She wanted to chastise her sister, too, but held her tongue. Andromeda always found it hard to speak against Hestia. Even her stupid words, like the nonsense about 'being nice', stuck with her, if Hestia spoke it. She took one final glance at Dawn, and subsequently left the room, spinning her spear.

Rua had promptly left the room with Ulexa situated upon her back, supporting her. However, she felt she had been somewhat rude to Merah-chan, who had spoken so wonderfully to her. She simply had to respond, taking a moment to pause, and lift up Ulexa, she tossed the smaller girl a bit upwards, and caught her with one arm. The other came out before her, holding her scroll.

With a quick nuzzle with Ulexa nose-to-nose, alerting her that Cu-Cu would be a sec, she got to tapping away one-handed on her scroll. She could type relatively quickly with only one hand, it seemed.

"Teehee, sent! That was silly!" Rua commented. She held up her scroll for Ulexa to see, "See! Hehe!" Putting it away, and better supporting the hooded-girl with mint hair, she looked back at her, to finally address the words she had spoken just now. "OH EM GEEEE!! Ui-Ui! Both those sound FANTASTIC! Hurrrrr... Nhm... "

Over energetic as always, Rua pouted, trying to discern which to do. "Too bads we dun have amazing splitting-ourselves Semblances! Puh! While exploration sounds super mysterious! And 'mystery is the light of life' as I always say! I think that cafe sounds fab!" She tossed Ulexa a bit, just for teasing fun. "Girl, let's go get us some jobsies!"

Immediately, she darted towards the commons, where Ulexa said a cafe was popping up. Her boundless energy, coupled with her remarkable tenacity was still astounding. Rua never knew how to take it slow, did she? Or.. did she..? Maybe Ulexa knew the answer to that..

CuCu carried Ulexa to the Commons, which was an immense room with high windows and enough couches to sleep half the student body. Little lamps and floral arrangements were on every table. The empty fireplace would be roaring if it was colder out. And in the corner was a counter, behind which were many apparatus for making coffee and other drinks, as well as a turquoise-haired girl cleaning machines. "Oh? Hi! Are you two here for a cuppa' coffee? Or, ooooh, student employment?" Her ears seemed to perk up at the thought of having a coworker.

Rua, still carrying Ulexa on her back, saw the new cute girl working the counter and immediately went into a fit of giggles and sweetness. "OH EM GEE, look Ui-Ui!! Isn't she just the cutest! What an adorable little girlie! Ohmygosh! I could just eat her up! Yum!" The Commons were always a room the bluenette had liked a lot. They were warm, inviting, cozy despite the roomy-ness of the place. But with this coffee place up and running, it was even better! Especially when it was manned by such adorably cute little dollies like Miss Turquoise there!

Bringing the mint-colored hair girl over to the counter, Rua stood there with her side facing Miss Turquoise, so the girl and Ui-Ui could interact better, too. "Ohmygosh, a cuppa soundsa great! But the two of us were here for Student Employment, too! First and foremost actually, hehe! But you're just so sweet, I need a sweet cuppa, too! I'll buy one for Ui-Ui here, too!"

Fiddling around in the pockets in her school uniform, she searched for any moola she could drop on the counter. "OH! And I'm Cu-Rua! Some call me Cu-Cu, but most just call me Rua! Hehe, what's your name, dollie? EE! Here!" With one hand she dropped the lien out.
