So much had gone on in so little time. She had gotten confused but also a bit scared. A huntress scared? That was a new one. Instead of letting fear absorb her, she covered it with anger and used it to advantage. New wolves joined the ongoing action and now things had been more hectic than ever. Before she knew it, Tael had been talking with her, telling her to group everyone up and that they were too exposed to spread out. "Copy that." she said, rushing off and trying to group up the wolves, knowing that most had been scared. But she had to group them up, it was best "Group up! We're stronger together!" she called out, looking around and realising the young wolf they had picked up was no where to be found Where is he? Did he get lost? she wondered, looking around. The markings around her face had activated and she began to look around, searching for Recruit.

It didnt take her long to finally spot the young wolf curled up on the ground and seeming to be shaking with fear. Deactivating her ability, she had gotten a nearby wolf and gave him the command of telling everyone to group up just as Tael had wanted "I'll be back." the She-wolf ran off in the direction of Recruit. "Pup!!!" she howled through the trees, running until she skitted to a stop, seeing her own enemy in front of her with its own baring fangs, it's glowing eyes. "We'll see how you fight against me you mutt!" she snapped, snarling and getting ready to attack. Just as she did, the power coming from the wolf had been unexpected and slammed her into a tree, causing a whine of pain to rush out of her lips. As she got back to her feet, the monster had tackled her, slashing its claws right against her back leg which made her snarl and fight back, shoving it off with the best of her ability.

With that, she ran, the wound on her back leg hurting like a bitch as she did so. She had to save Recruit. She had to. He was part of them despite his short time in the packs. Soon enough she found him "Recruit!" the wolf came up to him and nuzzled him, knowing he had still been alive "Get up, we need to go." she continued to nudge him, forcing him to his feet. Clara had been a bigger wolf, and she had the power to hold him if she had to. Even with her injured leg. Though she had been afraid she'd be too fast for him, so Clara grasped his scruff with her mouth and lifted him with her massive strength before running off with him, trying to get away from the enemy coming for her.

The beta sprinted quickly back toward camp, he skidded to a halt once he saw Tael. His Alpha was in a show off between one massive beast, and it made Fuzen boil with anger. His body trembled as adrenaline coursed through his veins, his markings lit up brightly, his eyes gleaming with cruelty.
The beasts shattered the ice barrier separating the monsters from his Alpha and pack mates. Fuzen spring forward, his paws hitting the ground heavily and they propel him forward. He releases a sound he has never produced, a sound of pure anger, hate. The mixture of a bark and ferocious growl, before he leaped forward.
Instead of the creatures disappearing before he could touch them, he barrels into one of them with a heavy thud. This causes the beast to shriek, toppling against the other beasts, causing them to shriek.
Fuzen claws at one of them, his dagger like nails shredding flesh and fur. His jaws snap violently, before his fangs sink into the soft throat flesh on his victim. The salty blood gushed into his mouth, causing him to gag at to horrid taste and stench.
The beast thrashed wildly, screeching in anger and pain. The other beasts snap at Fuzen's body, before one of the creatures bites down on the beta's back leg. He heard the sickening crack of bones as the beast that had a hold of him begins to thrash and bite harder.
Fuzen growls loudly, before inhaling deeply. His body begins to radiate with white light, small voltage strikes sizzle from his pelt, like a lightening cloud preparing to burst. The next moment, white light erupted from the beta, the shrieks became loud and terrifying. Blood curdling as the electricity poured through them, causing organs and blood vessels to rupture.
It moments, Fuzen laid on the ground. His breathing was laboured, and his leg bled heavily. Beside him were two of the beasts, the one he had attacked, and the other that had bitten onto his leg. They twitched violently, their eyes burning with pure hatred, until the Crimson red faded to a dead black.
Fuzen's breathing shallow, and his chest rose and fell with difficulty. His nose bled slightly, due to the heavy exertion he had just produced. He could barely move, his eyes shutting more a few moments. His body screamed for rest, his bones felt as if they were burning his flesh.
His golden eyes move toward Tael, and he smirks softly. The area around them silent, "How was that, for a beta?" He asks softy, chuckling lightly. Fuzen looked as if he could die any moment, yet he was simply exhausted. He had never performed that ability, let alone knew about it.

Seemingly out of no-where, he heard someone shouting for him, beckoning him over to them. He didn't know who - or even recognize the voice- but he still didn't get up. Instead, he tried to muster all the courage he had left. It was minimal, but he couldn't let himself be seen as the cowardly Recruit he knew himself to be.

Before he could get himself up, he was nudged by something. He didn't know what it was, but with the shouting voice begging him to get up, he could tell it-she was a wolf from the pack. At last, he was saved!

He began to get up, but was interrupted by the huntress. He was startled by the sudden jolt in direction from the huntress' attempt to carry recruit. "Ow- wait!" He yelped in concern.
"I-I can walk, can you p-please put me down?" Although he was thankful for the assistance of the huntress, being carried back to the pack seemed a little more embarrassing then walking, even with the tears still in his eyes. He certainly didn't want to continue burdening the huntress.

Kyomi was aggravated that she had allowed the beast to escape her paws. Her emerald gaze tried to lock on to the beast as she noticed, all too late, the attack headed her way. I won't make it in time, she thought as images of her deceased mate and unborn pups appeared in her mind. Is it finally my time to see them? Kyomi couldn't help, but feel her heart clinch, fearing death more than she had ever expected herself to. She closed her eyes and waited with her teeth clenched. The wrong impact came as the wind was knocked out of her and she could smell burnt fur like that caused by her own toxins. Opening her eyes, Kyomi was met with a tight gaze and the muzzle of a wolf a tad larger than her.

Is that relief? She wondered feeling like she had betrayed her deceased family. It was like once again she was granted life, but this time it felt more wanted. Kyomi watched her savior closely realizing he did not carry the scent of either of the packs. She also realized she had not felt the touch of another wolf's fur in a very long time and felt herself trying to keep her own black pelt from touching his lighter color. Kyomi remembered the burnt scent and looked to see if she had accidentally singed him, but it seems he had managed to avoid her own toxin meaning she must of been the one that had lost some fur. I could of lost more, she recalled.

"Thank you," she said gratefully to the strange wolf, "though it is probably best that you get off of me now," she said slightly embarrassed to be saying that to the stranger that saved her. She feared he would think her rude and she had to admit it was awkward being under a wolf larger than her.

He had been prepared to help Virgo up and head to Ayka until he noticed his brother's mist form appear and be taken down by the beast. Etu growled at his weak brother's attempt to be brave and the fact that it seemed Yue had an actual advantage in this fight. Etu had been too distracted to notice the beast coming towards his flank. His ears twitched back and he turned ready to take the hit. His teach were bared and his gold eyes held the rage he felt for Yue in them, but the fight never took place as his senses were taken over by a foreign scent and his sight by light reddish fur. A violet beam of light shot through the beast and Etu was left feeling rather impressed by this new style of power he had never seen before.

The she-wolf turned after having defeated the beast and he realized he had seen her violet eyes before. She barked out commands, but, after what he had just seen, Etu had no qualms about listening.
"We can be a distraction," He responded to her as he nodded towards Virgo.

"The others are farther towards the river. It might be too late to get them, but you have us three," he informed her. "Just tell us what you need," he awaited her commands as he felt thrill with hearing the beast's shrieks again.

As Clara ran and held the young wolf in her jaw, despite his pleas to let him go, she didnt and spoke through her teeth. She had only put enough grip on his scruff just to carry him. Nothing more "I cant let you go. If I do, I can out run you. I would much rather not. We're under attack, and these things arent your average wolf." she was acting like a mother protecting her pup. Getting them out of danger. But in this case, these things were a lot more mystical than she even knew. A hell of a lot stronger too. The huntress continued to run, her leg hurting her with every step. She had to get back to the pack, there was no way she could fight on her own, Tael said it himself, they needed to group up and right now the two wolves werent grouped up. "Recruit, if I dont make it, I need you to keep running. Do you understand me?" if she couldnt make it, he should. He was young, she had been older. Despite her want to have pups of her own some day, her life might end before it could start. (even though she's like 3+ years XD)

Clara continued to run and she hopped over a fallen tree and landed on her feet, though her back leg giving her some trouble. When she didnt hear anything for the time being, she slowed to a stop and released Recruit, her chest puffing and deflating rapidly. "We're facing a massive threat, and I'm not sure if everyone had gotten away or not." she knew for a fact that Fuzen could take care of himself...Unless he got stuck in a trap again. Tael was an Alpha, so he had been strong too. "I'm sorry for picking you up as I did. If I hadnt, things might have gotten worse."

She nodded briskly to Etu's reply, and she looked around rapidly. She then saw her brother slam a she Wolf out of the way from one of the beasts vial tar, and she tilted her head slightly.
While distracted, she failed to sense the beast approaching her from behind. Suddenly, she feels a sharp fangs sink into her scruff, causing her to shriek before she is thrown.
Genere hits the ground the a heavy thud, sliding to a halt. She coughs softly, snow burning her muzzle with the cold. Her violet eyes look up to see one of the beasts approaching her quickly, she growls. The violet light from between her fangs visible again, this time the beast pounces on her before she is able to release her gift. Violet light suddenly engulfs the pair of them, before vanishing just as quickly. The black mass laid motionless for a moment, before it began to shift and move. It rises slightly, only for Genere to push herself out. The dead creature falls back onto its belly, and she growls softly. Her fur bristling with shock and anger. "I never knew they were so heavy." She growls for a moment, looking toward Etu.

He stood over Kyomi for a moment, and stated at her. She was beautiful to him, unlike any female within Sangue. He tilts his head for a moment, before the fur on his chest begins to bristle with embarrassment.
He quickly steps off of her, "I know you don't- this is probably weird- I just saw-" He stutters, unable to finish his rambling sentences. Finally he takes a breath, "I'm sorry. My name is Meine." He says, before he heard his sisters shrill shriek. He peeks his ears and watches as violet light engulfs her and one of the beasts, before she crawls out from the now dead beast. "That's my sister, Genere." He says, looking at her with burning emerald eyes similar to her own.

The pup returned to silence once he had gotten his answer. He had a feeling that something else was watching them- stalking them in the shadows. He did his best to stay as still as possible, but still began to look around in the small angle of movement the position allowed him. As the huntress described the situation, The worried recruit became silent and still. The words of the hunter rang in his ears, and shivers were sent up his spine. Things kept falling around him. And recruit could do nothing but stare.

Suddenly, he felt the floor beneath his paws. He had not been paying much attention to the world around him. He stumbled for a moment, but kept himself balanced afterwards.
He turned to the Huntress with a worried daze, hopping to think of some good news -or atleast a joke- to calm both himself and the huntress. But still , he found himself too invested in the situation then he did in reality. In this sense, he found words escape him. He only nodded in a scared silence as before. Once again, the worried recruit also failed to see the wound the huntress sustained in the conflict. His senses seemed nulled by the rush of slight adrenaline and panic.

Tael parried a claw dripping of shadows with a sheet of ice. It splintered the ground, the cold temperatures too much for even the earth, and shot up to catch one of the beasts on their bony snout. The beast shot upward, a soft crack resounding from the blow, and when it landed ungraciously and slipped on more ice did Tael turn to strike the next beast that dared pass him. There were many and although he held pride as an Alpha, he had definitely bitten off more than he could chew. The camped wolves had yet to move, panic overriding his command, and with no Beta to aid him, he was forced to attempt to drive the twisted evil back. It seemed that if he managed to encase one beast in ice, freezing them in a thick cover of glassy winter, did another appear before him. The treeline was now an embankment of snow, mounds of frozen beast and tree standing as reminders that Tael's energy was running thin.

And with degrading energy came weak sheets of ice. The encasement of his power was not strong now, the beasts easily breaking from it. Thankfully, a handful remained frozen in place, but the numbers were still against his favor. Yet, despite knowing full well of his predicament, nothing quite prepared him for the massive beast that appeared from the treeline untouched by his cold. A creature that matched Charon's size, if not bigger, and it towered over him.

With a heavy limb it lashed out, and he quickly side-jumped. Claws skidded on wolf-made ice, he danced on it and twirled around to the beast's flank, snapping at the back legs, but the action was perhaps too languid. It spun back around, biting at his throat only to miss from a slip of he paw. Jaws ripped at his ears, grazed his forehead, and dug into his temple. Only when the mouth had made contact with his head did the creature spiral back, the radiating cold that pooled from Tael's body shocking the beast's mouth with a bone-chilling burn.

It's not enough. His emotions welled up within him, unease coloring his features, Luna, if the packs weren't here I could-I could... he barely missed a set of piercing claws and jagged fangs, I could set the whole place in an ice age. Yes, it would definitely do something, but he'd already wasted enough energy freezing the lake during a wildfire, aided in preventing the wildfire from spreading for a moment, battled heat, and was now trying to freeze abominations to death. The Ice Age would likely be a snow flurry.

Nevertheless... desperation readied the idea. The packs were strong, the wolves were strong, and even if there were a few casualt-... Dear Luna, no. He shook the idea from his mind, but before he could muster to strength to tap into the cold within him again to try at spearing the beast through and through, he heard it. A sound that trembled with such ferocity, such hate and anger, and raw emotion that it drew his fur on edge, made the icicles on his fur clink together as they trembled from the volume of that one sound.

The wolf of white turned, catching a flash of equal white with the stripe of gold, and he felt the grin split across his muzzle. Good, an Alpha was weak without their Beta. Yet noting prepared him for the sudden burst of energy that sprouted out from within Fuzen. The bolt shook in his bones, and made the ice beneath them crack. It lighted the clearing, obscured the sky into darkness, and lashed out with an ear-piercing screech.

When it was said and done, the beasts twitching from the voltage, he watched as Fuzen nearly collapsed. Not a surprise, he would have been worried if his Beta hadn't collapsed. Such a feat was surely exhausting, Luna, it made even him feel fatigued and sapped of remaining energy.

Without a word he sided Fuzen, testing the scent that came from him. Besides the foul odor of the beasts lingering on Fuzen's fur and the stench of blood, the electrical wolf seemed relatively well.

'' How was that, for a Beta ,,

Yes, Fuzen was fine. The very question drew an unexpected chuckle from him as he nudged Fuzen's head with a rather cold nose. "Hmm, it wasn't very immaculate, if you ask me, but for a Beta... it was... okay." The Alpha's muzzle split into a smile once more as his ears fanned out around them, "That was surprising, Fuzen. I may have a run for my rank after all if you keep this up, but are you well? Can you... move?" He asked the last with hesitance as he took to glancing around. Fuzen seemed to have rid the clearing of the beasts for the moment. "And have you seen the others? Etu, Talva, Virgo, Clara, Recruit, Yue, and Kyomi?" He listed the names off with urgency.

Etu
Mist Pack

Etu started forward as he watched the beast approach her, but it was already upon her. Another violet light pierced through it as he watched the creature's dead weight lay atop the smaller she-wolf. He was amazed such a small wolf could manage to lift the beast off of her.

"Guess it provides a good work out, though," he remarked before noticing a beast headed towards Virgo. Virgo still seemed to be regathering himself, so Etu quickly pushed the beast away from Virgo with a gust of wind. The beast started to fly away, but vanished right before crashing into a tree. This irritated Etu as he focused his senses on finding more of them. There were at least three of them within the bushes preparing a charge towards them.

Etu quickly formulated a plan and hoped Genere would understand as he was unable to speak the words before the three charged forward. As the approached closer, he managed to push to far off causing them to vanish as he quickly switched to pulling one closer to him for Genere to dispose of while it thought it had the upper hand.

Kyomi found her fur running hot as if she might have a fever, though she doubted that to be the reason. He watches as the larger wolf quickly gets off of her and feels sorry to have caused him to seem so flustered. She sat up quickly finding a part of her fur to lick and finding out she had been the one that had been singed. I didn't think anything could burn my fur, she thought as her thoughts were interrupted as the handsome wolf spoke his name.

Meine pointed out a beautiful she-wolf similar in color to him. Kyomi felt herself tense as she was taken down by one of those beasts, but, with a light as violet as her eyes, the creature stopped moving. Kyomi turned back to Meine, her eyes slightly downcast as she felt nervous under his gaze.

"I'm Kyomi," she replied. "I didn't mean to sound rude..." she began feeling her paws shuffle unconsciously. Something seem to be stopping her from saying she was just slightly unable to touch other wolves in fear she would drip her toxin upon them. She hated to scare the new wolf that had saved her, though she had never really cared before. Kyomi knew it would be cruel not to inform him.

"It's just..." She started, but she found she could not finish what she was saying. "It doesn't matter right now," she quickly brushed it off. "We should help your sister and Etu and Virgo as well," she remembered that poor Virgo had been attacked by one of those beast. She turned to see how he was doing just to see another beast trying to attack him while he was still trying to organize his thoughts.

"Virgo!" she called, but she was too far away to react. Luckily, Etu had pushed the beast away from him as Kyomi ran to check if he was injured by the acidic beast from before or perhaps even her. She felt a little more comfortable as she made it to Virgo's side. Even though he was not of her pack, Kyomi found he was still familiar and something about Meine's eyes made her squirm. That and she hated to be asked what she was going to say previously. It would be nice if one wolf didn't think I was a danger, she thought as she sniffed Virgo's fur.

"Are you alright?" she asked him.
