The only temporary SL would be a Weaver who takes the place for a short period of time before transferring elsewhere. So... Not in the way you're looking for, no. Sorry about that ^^" maybe you can convince a Squad Leader to let your character be their apprentice of sorts, or even a co-leader? It isn't unheard of for an SL to assign a second in command.

I believe I mentioned this time, and the last RP too, that ranks are not actually cannon in-universe. There is no way of ranking a Weaver's ability, and most people assume ability through their position.
