Personality: If there was a person who'd make you wonder "Who let this sniveling kid into a squad' it'd be this one. How he has managed to survive 5 years in Hueco Mundo much less having gotten through basic training is a fact under debate if it was their doing at all and not the pity of lady luck. If anything the little thing is the most earnest person you will meet, putting all into every single thing they do... aside from combat, but you can bet your left ass cheek they will do their best to get away! A hard worker, rather thrifty when it comes to tools, supplies and anything else he might need for mis mission. Even though most of his missions are related to upkeep of the Seireitei's various needs, disregarding his size he is quite the handyman and rather resourceful when it comes down to performing his duties.


However, he is rather.... bound to servitude with his mannerisms. Helping people is second nature and if told to do something, no matter what it is or if it's really his job he will go about doing this task. being ordered to do something can break him out of roughly anything, frightened beyond belief? no problem! Running for his life? He's your man. Currently under so much of a workload he's breaking his mind and body? You got it! Some take this for granted of course, but when he was back at the Society he seemed to be watched over by his superiors, namely Kiyone whom often saved him from cleaning every single toilet in the Seireitei. Of course, when it comes down to combat, when ordered to, he's outright useless. Stumbling over himself when he moves to strike, fumbling his destruction kido, it's a wonder he's managed to get this far alive.


History: A stumbling bumbling fool manages to join the fourth division, duties to fufill, supplies to distribute, areas to clean, wounds to clean, all these things and more made up his early years in squad 4. While some squads would have you learn to fight and slay, this one trains you to help and heal, while others would train to spy and assassinate, this one teaches cleanliness and duty. his conviction to his duties and the act of healing others treated him well through his years, earning himself praise and respect within the squad. But outside he was forever seen as weak and submissive. For thats he was, he knew that's what his place was. His duty surmounted all else, surpassed his need to get stronger or blaze a path with his blade.


He slowly became a model member of the fourth division, but it took him a good while to actually be ready for field missions. As his weakness in combat was apparent to all, even with his skill in the realms of kido his unwillingness to take up his arms and fight prevailed over his wishes to help. However, his ability to help his allies still remained during conflicts, providing healing, protection and tactical advice when needed has proven himself useful in some instances. Thus giving him the greenlight as mobile support. The number of missions increased considerably when he awakened to his shikai, which further increased his adaptability and support options. During a sudden uprising of hollow activity Chosi was sent to aid the Squad 8 shinigami in their task force....


And we know how that went.


As of now he has been yet another key component to survival for the trapped shinigami, him being one of the few capable of producing water, a commodity hard to find within the lands of hueco mundo...


But how long will the little one last?


He was weak.


Without the others he is nothing...


But without him...


Would they even be able to survive?

"Kuraken Grasp the abyss!"


Form: With a sudden blast of mist and a spray of water the weapon reveals it's awakened state, a fishing spear of steel and weathered dark brown wood the weapon is constantly covered in a small film of water, dripping upon the ground and Chosi, but never bothering him in the slightest in terms of grip and manipulation. A long rope is attached that can be used to recover the weapon once thrown, as weather and frayed as the weapon's shaft. The steelhead shows slight red tint, as if just thrusted into a beast's hide.


Abilities: in combat the weapon has two functions, one it can shoot from the tip a slicing ray of water, the amount and speed of the water can be changed if needed, the ray is capable of cutting through solid stone. The weapon can also shoot out a large thick black mist to cover a large area, the mist sticks to creatures aside from Chosi, becoming a thick viscous substance that resembles ink. The rope of the weapon is also useful, as it can length, retract even move at a single thought from Chosi, like a long tendril it can act as a very long third arm.


Techniques:


healing spring: The water produced can aid in healing, speeding processes in natural regeneration and aiding other sources of healing processes.


Hunter's catch: With a sudden rush the spear lashes out at a target, piercing the flesh and wrapping it within the long strong rope, binding the target in place.

The user's body glows slightly orange with the surrounding reiatsu and uses this energy to deflect a singular light to moderate attack.

Zanpakuto: Tobikomi


 


Personality: Takao is always calm and serene, as though nothing fazes him. In truth, he is hardly without apprehension, and he simply puts on a brave face. He is generally a permissive person, and doesn't spend much time questioning the behavior of others, choosing to focus on more important issues. He tries his hardest to resolve differences of opinion through dialogue and compromise. He is a big believer in the power of the individual, and even within a group, he likes to think of everyone as being their own person aside from their intended goal. He has always been partially at odds with his place in the Gotei 13 as a result of this; while he would never be pointlessly rebellious or contrarian, he chafes under the military style rules and regulations set out by them. 


 


Takao's greatest desire is to enjoy excitement in his life. Fighting the enemies of the Seireitei is a big part of this, if only for the thrill. Takao is disinclined to go too far with his frill seeking; he has never contemplated doing anything sinister or otherwise illegal, but he nonetheless can be quite experimental in finding new ways to get his blood pumping. This is a big part of his dissatisfaction with the Gotei 13, as he gets something interesting to do, but always feels hemmed in by his obligations. Takao would prefer to do the same kind of work free from the oversight of the Seireitei.


 


History: Part of an unimportant, povertous family in the Rukongai, Takao had little to do but endure his meager lot in life. As a child, he was a big dreamer, and wanted a life filled with excitement and adventure. However, as he got older, it seemed that all he had to look forward to was more muck and drudgery. When he finally discovered that he had spiritual potential, he was more than eager to attend the academy and join the ranks of the Shinigami. He had heard many tales of the warriors of the Gotei 13, and he saw their organisation as a way to escape his circumstances.


 


His illusions were shattered quickly upon entering the academy. He quickly found himself at odds with the discipline and rigidity of the experience, and frequently clashed with instructors and some other students. It was getting to the point where Takao was considered a problem student. One day, his father told him plainly that if he continued to conflict with the authorities, he would never be able to become a Shinigami, and he would always be a nobody from the slums. He knew this would get through to Takao, and it did; Takao began to endure all the things he saw as pointless regulations, if only for the sake of his own desires. He learned how to quiet his anger, and at the least put on a facade of conformity. His experience quickly changed for the better, and he found himself accepted in the Gotei 13 as a member of squad 8.


 


Even though Takao had achieved what he had thought he wanted, and he certainly preferred this life to the life he had in the Rukongai, he still felt that something was lacking. Purifying Hollows was exciting work, but at the end of the day it would always be back to the regimented life of a Gotei 13 soldier. Takao thought it would be neat to go explore the living world, but he was always naturally obligated to do as the Seireitei commanded, and that didn't include allowances for him to wander off when he pleased. When Takao and the others found themselves trapped in Hueco Mundo, Takao was hardly pleased with the situation. He still isn't, yet, at the back of his mind, he wonders if he doesn't enjoy being so far from all the commanding officers and nobles of the Seireitei. 


~General Fighting Style~


 


Combat Summary: Takao uses a combination of his Zanpakuto abilities and Hoho to outmaneuver his opponents and harass them with projectiles. His speed is his speciality, developed so he can run circles around an opponent while nailing them with his javelins.

Form: Takao's Zanpakuto transforms into a Naginata, a long polearm.


Abilities: Tobikomi manipulates raw spiritual energy for a variety of techniques


Techniques: 


-Flying Leap: Involves using spiritual energy to propel Takao into the air. He does this by driving Tobikomi into the ground and using a blast of energy to launch himself. This allows him to cover great distances at greater speed and maneuver around his opponent, provided they have no means of matching his technique.


-Blast Javelin: Involves creating spiritual projectiles to be shot from the tip of Tobikomi. They appear to be like javelins, and they detonate in a small scale explosion upon connecting with something.

Personality:


Asumi struggles with a lot of inner demons, spawning both from survivor's guilt and a matyr's complex. Whenever she's left alone, she begins to feel guilty that she's still alive, and yet alot of the squad isn't. Because of this, she feel she owes those around her everything she has, and runs herself regularly to exhaustion. If anything dangerous comes up, Asumi volunteers, not because she's confident in herself, but because she doesn't want anyone else taking it up. She feels she owes a debt to everyone around her, and can't seem to repay it. Because of that, Asumi hates praise and getting help, often as she may need it. She'll give help all day to others, even when running on fumes, but refuses to recieve any.


Even before struggling with those issues, Asumi's always been kind to those around her. She likes to see them smile, whether or not there's much to smile about. She wears a smile herself constantly to try and uplift people. She was naturally spirited before becoming one of The Lost, and she still runs around appearing in high spirits, and not looking before she leaps. She might struggle with depression, but with her facade, its sometimes hard to tell. The facade's sometimes hard to keep up, so Asumi enjoys patrols and the like, as it gives her a bit to recharge, and not have to worry about dragging anyone else down.


History: Raised in the Rukongai, Asumi grew up rather meagerly. Many people took pity on her, and that allowed her survive in the relatively mild 50th district. Her appetite marked her as one having a strong Reiryoku, and so she was encouraged to become a soul reaper by many who had helped her as a child. Infact, it was a ridiculously high, Asumi always seemed to be hungry, even if she wasn't wanting for food. Much as she'd always been, Asumi was average going through the academy, not really shining out in any particular field. Her kido was awful, but it was compensated by her Hakudo and Zanjutsu. She was put into squad 8, and served as an unseated member. She still hadn't unlocked her Shikai when the hollows invaded the Seireiti.


When the invasion struck, Asumi rushed to meet the hollows, even though she was hardly strong. She froze after the first swing when she only managed to scratch one. Her captain was the one to save her, yelling at her to think before she leaped. Afraid, she tried to fall back, but to her horror, found there was no 'back' to fall to. Pushed to fight, her fear for her life forced out her to fight like she'd never done before. If it wasn't for being a blur, Asumi would have been shocked to see the results, even managing to kill a few hollows. She was hardly a match for the sheer numbers though, and a hollow managed to land a clean blow on her, injuring her greatly, knocking her out of it. Before it could finish her off, several squad members jumped to her defense, driving the stronger hollow away. The hollow massacred them.


It was the most traumatizing thing to Asumi yet. Being a fairly new soul reaper, she'd not yet seen death before the battle, and she'd been too occupied beforehand to noticed it around her, but to see someone struck down infront scarred her. What was worse, they'd saved a squad member who was useless and injured. With a cry, Asumi threw her sword at the hollow, landing a lucky blow to its head from behind, felling it instantly. Before she could relax though, she heard a tearing sound, and the space around her began to distort, dragging her into the garganta. Without her sword, Asumi felt helpless, mostly dodging hollows throughout it, and occasionally punching when she was forced. She had been a swordsman foremost, and now didn't have anything. The thought kept reoccurring that she was done for, but again and again throughout the fight, squad members saved her, even though he was useless without her zanpakuto. Asumi couldn't figure out why for the life of her. She wasn't special, she was a liability, and still they helped her. She felt guilty for each and every person she started to see fall around her, thinking 'that should have been me.'


Once the fighting was over, Asumi fell shellshocked. She was too numb to feel worry about going home, or worry about the ethics off eating hollows. All she could really concentrate on was how others should have made it through instead of her. Not able to bear it well, or wanting support from other people, Asumi worked through it by working herself so hard she didn't have time to think. She helped around camp, and looked for work even when there wasn't any. The only thing she wasn't allowed to do was patrol, being helpless without her zan.


Still, there were times she couldn't push away her thoughts, and she felt weak. It pushed her to train the only thing she had left, her Hakudo. Without exactly a natural talent for it, it took much hard work for Asumi to raise to level where she was allowed to go on patrols. She rather enjoyed it, as it let her time to heal. However, six months after having arrived, Asumi felt something was wrong. She started to hear whisperings, even when no one was there. Sometimes, bursts of violent feelings came to her head, and it took everything she had to surpress it. It felt like a hunger Not wanting to bother the rest of the group after she'd just become useful again, she kept quiet. The 'hunger' only seemed to grow whenever she ate.

Zanpakuto: Ketsuga (Blood fang)


Personality: Calm and caring, Ryuuko often projects a more protective personality towards her squad mates. Usually seeing them more like siblings than comrades. Of course like siblings, they're bound to fight and butt heads with one another. Sometimes over serious matters sometimes over more . . . petty things. (Like that jerk that ran off with the last pork bun) During the rare moments they have some down time, Ryuuko can come off more joking and sarcastic. She isn't afraid to insult or tease a friend in a joking manner. The light smile even as she retorts to your last comment with a 'fuck you' helps show it's all in good fun.

Joking aside, Ryuuko is capable of being serious when the situation calls for it. She'll fight until her body gives out if it means protecting members of Squad 8 or Soul Society as a whole. Perhaps that desire to protect and help lead to Ketsuga's healing abilities? Hard to say. After the battle Ryuuko does what she can to tend to wounds through her - albeit still limited - use of Kaidou. (She's not a member of Squad 4 after all.)


History: Growing up, Ryuuko didn't live all that outstanding of a life. Having an actual hunger compared to the others she was living with, she'd been encouraged to try getting into the Spiritual Arts Academy. Not really having anything to lose and finding the idea of becoming a Shinigami a more interesting path than some store owner, Ryuuko decided it was worth a shot. Passing the entrance exam with flying colors, she was placed in the first class and graduated at the top of her year.

Well, that's what she'd like to tell you if asked. Truth be told, Ryuuko actually failed the entrance exam the first time around. When she did actually pass, her results placed her among the more average students of the academy. While hard working, her grades were never anything all that outstanding. But they were still more than enough to allow her to graduate and join the ranks of the Gotei 13. It wasn't long after that she found herself among the ranks of Squad 8.

Life in the squadron went fairly well. Ryuuko continued her training on her own time, often being found practicing Jinzen. Particularly if she just wanted to rest and take a break from the long days and the usual chaos that comes with being a Shinigami. Maybe that's why she was noted to have a better resonance with her zanpakutou.

A few years passed and Ryuuko found herself a candidate to become a seated officer in her squadron, much to her shock. While honored to even be considered, she had a feeling some of the more qualified candidates would get the position. Before a decision could even be made, Soul Society found itself under attack by Hollows. Ryuuko wasted little time joining Squad 8 as the first responders to the scene. Though none of them were prepared for the fight that was waiting.

Several long, bloody hours of fighting tooth and nail just to survive followed. They lost many, too many if you asked any of the survivors, had it not been for Ketsuga Ryuuko and many more would have been among the fallen. As the fighting finally came to end, the painful realization hit the now lost Shinigami. They were trapped; none of them were capable of opening a gate between the world of Hollows and Souls. Just their own world and the human world.

The year that followed was long, far from easy on anyone but they managed. They learned to adapt to their new surroundings and have begun to adjust the ways things were for them now. Far from saved, they at least have a chance now.

Drink, Ketsuga

Form: Far from an impressive shikai, the weapon itself actually doesn't change. Instead the Hi (Blood groove) begins to act as a gauge of sorts showing how much blood has been absorbed.

Abilities: With a never ending thirst, Ketsuga absorbs the blood of anyone or thing cut by its blade. Once the entirety of the hi glows red, can its abilities be accessed.
Techniques:

Shinku kiri no houyou: Ketsuga's blade dissolves into a crimson mist that envelops a target of Ruuko's choosing, healing a majority of wounds and restoring reiatsu. This ability can be used to heal a group at once, though the extent is not as far. Reiatsu is not restored when healing a group either.

Ketsueki ikari: The entirty of the blade glows red before launching an arc of energy capable taking out multiple foes should they get caught in the path.

Personality:


Emily is a very energetic and upbeat girl. She had a very adventurous urge to her enjoying seeing new things and meeting new people. She can't help but try getting along with everyone, being very friendly with others she sees and trying to make light of things and keep positive. She actively will try and nudge people into being more positive on things, often times trying to get people to do things she sees would make them 'happier'. It is hard to ever put her down, often refusing to look at the bad side of things no matter how desperate things might be. She holds a fierce loyalty to her companions being there if they need her. She can't but help to mingle around with others and talk with those she meets. She is very courageous at times, to the point of having almost no fear in facing anything despite the odds. She doesn't seem to show any distress towards seeing violence, much of her worry coming in the form of her allies that might be hurt.


Emily's desire to interact with people can be often overdone. She tends to not know when to stop and can be stubborn in leaving someone alone. She can be very bubbly and ditzy, leading to many awkward situations. She isn't very patient, at times acting rashly particularly when it comes to something she thinks might be helpful to someone else. Her own energy can work against her making it hard for her to learn things or pay attention to details she should. While she isn't a complete idiot, she is known to do generally air headed things, often repeating her own mistakes having difficulty learning from some of them particularly on a social level.


History:


Emily originally grew up as part of the 36th district. Being a nicer part of Rukongai , she didn't have to worry much about much as far as crime or poverty went living a generally comfortable life. Even early on in her time in Soul Society, Emily had shown to be very adventurous, very rarely being able to stay in one place leaving her adopted family to go see other places. Her talkative and ditzy nature often got her in some trouble although it had also helped her to meet many new friends in the nearby districts. As far as she was concerned, so long as she had others around she would be as happy as he ever could be.


Emily entered the academy urging some she knew from the streets to find a better life. For Emily, her own reasons were as simple as 'finding it possibly fun'. It was through much of the academy she generally struggled in various areas as her energetic self often had trouble focusing on her studies or paying attention. Her generally talkative nature had on many occasions got in the way and got her in trouble with her her teachers. Elements like Kido were far above her head even if she could manage to take a moment to sit down and learn it. It was primarily through the help of friends, particularly that of Chosi she managed to pass through, aided by her ability to quickly learn more combat related topics. She wasn't good at picking up things but she was very talented at devising her own ways of handling things, often taking inspiration from what she saw others do. She eventually secured a place in the 8th Division.


During the invasion Emily had shown a large deal of resilience. Despite the odds her upbeat personality had left her unscathed by what seemed like a helpless fight. Her own nature was far to stubborn to ever throw in the towel. When it seemed like exhaustion filled the others, she would fight on showing little sign of stopping no matter how worn down she was. Eventually as the fighting settled down it was clear that many of her companions lay down. Their way back home was all but lost as they were left stranded in the desolate wastes where hollows crawled just around every dune. While despair filled many, Emily continued to smile more thnen confident they would be out of there in new time.


With years having passed, Emily still maintains the optimism that she originally possessed whether it be her refusal to give up or her just being too air headed to realize the situation they were in. They had been established finding their own methods to survive. She remains as upbeat as ever always quick to encourage others to 'keep positive'.



~General Fighting Style~


Combat Summary: Emily's abilities focus heavily upon close range combat using her sword. While she posses some unarmed combat ability, her Zanpakuto's ability puts much of her emphasis on blade focused attack using any unarmed techniques very rarely. Unlike the typical Shinigami, her attacks rely more upon being able to get a small cut or stab on a foe rather then needing to apply full force to her blows due to her Zanpakuto's ability, although she will take any opens she can find to give a more definitive strike for a more effective strike with her Zanpakuto's power.

Form: (Character Picture). The sheath turns into a magenta color. The blade is slightly longer then 1 foot, 11 inches in length. The handle grip becomes a slightly darker shade of pink with magenta hearts formed by the wrap of the handle. A small heart and star charm are attached to the end of the handle. The hand guard changes into the shape of an unfilled heart. The blade itself looks like typical metal, although a faint pink tint can be seen in the blade.


Abilities: Yasashii has the ability to apply invisible marks to the target only Emily is able to see simply by touching a foe with her blade whether through an attack or a simple touch. These marks linger on a target until she seals her Zanpakuto up (whether willing or forced when unconscious). The marks store a portion of Reiatsu that lingers allowing Emily to 'show her love' to whoever it applied to in various forms in exchange for expending the marks. The marks themselves are used up when she uses the techniques allowing her to use only one ability on the individual unable to select which marks are used. She can, however, use the marks on a certain individual without setting them off on another.


Techniques:


Kisumāku (Love Bite): Emily holds her blade up, focusing upon her chosen target. She does a small kissing gesture causing all the marks on the target to go off at once. The marks will lash out at the opponent, repeating the action that applied them where they were to begin with. A slash would cause a slash effect to replicate where the mark is place slicing deeper, a piercing attack causing a piecing stab to dig in deeper, and a blunt strike applying blunt force where the blade touched the foe.


Houyou (Hug): Emily focuses on a certain target. She holds her hands out as if a hug (although the gesture only needs to be used wit her sword wielding arm she tends to do with with both), before quickly moving her blade. All marks placed on the target are consumed, causing a pulling force towards her yanking at the place every mark was on them in the direction of Emi's blade. A single mark has a small pull able to nudge the place that is marked a few inches forward (the pull dependent heavily on the foe and if they are prepared to resist it), where being covered with many marks can fully pull an unprepared or weak foe quickly over towards her. The ability itself can be used to quickly pull her allies in her direction in order to quickly withdraw them back, often applied through touching them with her blade to leave a mark.

Zanjutsu:


Hōzuri


Ritorukatto toppū (Little Cut Gust)- Emily swiftly strikes at the opponent using quick slicing motions at high speed. The technique aims to lightly cut at a foe, allowing her attacks to be super fast lacking a larger amount of force. Whole not super effective on its own, Emily combines it with her Zanpakuto ability, inflicting them with many marks before releasing Kisumāku, allowing her to effectively strike the opponent a large number of times making the small cuts much more effective.


Hakudo:


Yubi no furikku kyohi (Finger Flick Denial)- Emily holds her index finger with her thumb. She then flicks her finger, ideally aimed for the forehead. The force is used to knock the person she uses it on off balance falling onto their back. The actual strength of the technique itself isn't great, instead relying on throwing off her target's balance and allowing its strength to do the rest. Primarily it is used for more noncombat purposes.

Personality: Reilly is rarely seen without a smile on his face. Ever optimistic and uplifting, he always encourages the talents of those he's around, finding value in even the most mundane skill. Not only that, but Reilly will jump at the opportunity to help out a friend however they need, doing whatever task it may be with his signature smile. 


 


But the more observant around him may notice that it's a rather empty smile, as hollow as the creatures that inhabit Hueco Mundo, and there is no happiness or joy in his eyes. On the few occasions he is alone, Reilly will sit at the entrance to their makeshift home, staring blankly out across the white desert sands for someone or something that he refuses to talk about...


 


History: Reilly grew up in a backstreet district that neither he nor anyone he ever met bothered learning the name of. It was a good life with his adopted family, and he enjoyed being where he was, perfectly content to never move on. 


 


Then Rhiannon entered his life. He happened across the young woman on day as she was practicing kido, seeking to join the Kido Corps as soon as she could. Immediately he felt in himself a desire to help, and so they began spending more and more time together: at first just in her studies, but eventually because they enjoyed each other's company. Eventually Rhiannon suggested that Reilly join the Shinigami Academy, as he had absolutely no skill at kido. That night, Nagai Tsume appeared beside him on his bed, a physical representation of his complacency. But he found himself falling in love with the idea, and with the woman who suggested it. They both entered their respective academies and, after short order, graduated them: Rhiannon to the Kido Corps, and Reilly to Squad 8. After, that is, a simple if joyful marriage in which Rhiannon presented Reilly a ring she'd made. She explained that each was linked to the other, and that each would transmit the wearer's heartbeat to the other wearer, so that they'd never feel alone. 


Unfortuantely, it wasn't long after that the Hollows attacked. Both Reilly and Rhiannon found themselves sucked into the vortex and yanked out of the Soul Society, and Rhiannon yanked from Reilly's hands. 


Ever since, Reilly has kept wearing the ring, trying to take comfort in the heartbeat he can still feel in it. But as time progresses and life becomes more difficult, he has began to sink into an anxious depression, uncertain that he will ever see his wife again...

Combat Summary: True to his persona, and that if his zanpakuto, Reilly is a very defensive fighter. While Nagai Tsume is sealed, he may perhaps fight more aggressively, but that strategy immediately changes upon its release, as wielding Tsume in such an overtly offensive manner becomes difficult and laborious. When it is released, Reilly more often fights with the few Hakudo techniques he knows, choosing to try to overwhelm his opponents with strength and size rather than speed.

Slash, Nagai Tsume!


 


Form: Tsume is shown in Reilly's picture. In his Shikai form, Nagai Tsume is a guardless sword of over 7 feet in length. The hilt is wrapped in white cloth, and a dark brown fur covers both the pommel and the base of the blade. 


Abilities: Tsume is excessively lazy and stubborn, not to mention exceedingly heavy, and as a result refuses to move for absolutely anyone, being indeed far more likely to break than budge from wherever he is left. Even Reilly has to become extremely agitated or come under extreme duress to drive the bullheaded zanpakuto into action. Tsume's stubbornness is not without its benefits, however; Reilly will often times make use of Tsume as a very effective shield or roadblock as he attacks with Hakudo, employing guerilla tactics to good use. 


 


But his lethargy isnt Tsume's only ability. When he does finally awaken his fury, he shares every ounce of ferocity he has with his shinigami, and the two enter a kind of berserker's rage, ignoring every kind of injury as they attack their opponent. 


Techniques: The Kodiak's Hibernation - When Nagai Tsume is first released, he enters a dormant state in which he lends Reilly no aid in reiatsu or any other form, becoming absolutely stationary in whatever position Reilly leaves him. 


The Kodiak's Rage - Tsume awakens after an average of one minute, though that period may increase or decrease in proportion to the beating Reilly is taking. When activated, Tsume channels every ounce of reiatsu he has into his shinigami. The rage Reilly is filled with as a result blinds him to all but his target, and he ignores all injuries and protestations until his target is destroyed or beaten.

Zanjutsu: Tooth and Claw - Reilly begins slashing out with Tsume in a circular pattern, dashing left and right of his target as he uses his momentum to swing his sword at different sides and angles of the target. 


Bull Rush - Reilly hits his opponent with his shoulder, ideally after a bit of a run to gain momentum, in order to send his opponent back a step and/or stun them. He then brings Tsume diagonally up across his opponent, slashing at them across their middle. 


Hakudo: The Surprise - Reilly will initially bury Tsume's blade into the ground and fight in front of it, effectively blocking it from view. As his opponent makes a particularly powerful lunge or similar attack, Reilly will jump up over it, allowing the attack to his Tsume and stun his opponent. Reilly then delivers an axe kick to the top of their head, potentially driving them into the ground or, if he's lucky, into Tsume's blade itself. 


Suppression - Reilly takes advantage of his size and strength to physically subdue an opponent. After grabbing an opponent, whether by limb or clothing, after being hit, in any circumstance, he brings them in close and begins applying pressure in bear hugs, limb locks, etc, to gain compliance. 


Boxing - There's little Reilly loves more than a good round of fist fighting, and he's become reasonably decent at standing his ground to deliver a well aimed, hard blow with either fist.

Misc: Reilly wears a small metal ring bearing a strange rune on his left ring finger. He never takes it off and will occasionally spin it absentmindedly around his finger.

He found himself terrorising the people of the Rukongai alongside many other thugs and villains. He never really thought about what he was doing until someone actually got killed. A whole famiy, as it happened, died because someone in Daisuke’s group went too far. Daisuke had never killed anyone, and he never planned on doing so. But he felt responsible since it happened right in front of him, and he did nothing. He made up his mind to turn his life around, and joined the shinigami.[/SIZE][SIZE=10pt] [/SIZE]


[SIZE=10pt]While the Gotei 13 had never been paragons of virture, Daisuke found satisfaction in keeping order as a shinigami. Zanpakuto: Ketsueki





Personality: Mai is the opposite of the the usual member of squad 11. Mai is calm, trusting, and overall a peaceful girl. For the past year, Mai had been quiet, and has done her best to avoid combat. Although she retains her calm nature, its obvious it's her last line of defense against the looming insanity of Hueco Mundo.





History: Mai only lived in Rukongai for a few years before she applied to join the Soul Reapers, but before she did, she lived with a relatively wealthy family who provided for her every need. The family disagreed with her desire to join the Soul Reapers, but she ignored them. Upon acceptance, she quickly found that she was not as suited to battle as she thought she was and received countless reprimanding from her instructors. She couldn't use kido in the slightest. To make up for her lacking in kido, Mai become a master with her blade. Her form was impeccable, despite being easily overwhelmed by an aggressive fighter. The squad 11 captain themself requested that she join their squad. However, upon joining squad 11, Mai found that she was much more outclassed than she had originally assumed. Her thirst for battle nor her battle prowess were up to par with the rest of the squad. However the captain insisted that she had something special in her, and that's why they wanted her on squad 11. Mai never believed her captain, and remained the weakest member of squad 11.

Sealed Appearance: Standard soul reaper katana.





-Bleed, Ketsueki-


Form: The katana takes on a reddish hue, and blood constantly flows from the blade.


Abilities: Wounds inflicted by Ketsueki bleed profusely no matter the location of the wound. Because of this, it takes much longer for the wounds to heal. Any blood that has flowed from the blade can be solidified, and formed into different shapes at will. Mai prefers to form the blood into spikes and catch her foes by surprise.


Techniques: Mai fights much more aggressively when her zanpakuto is released. She becomes increasingly more dangerous as fighting continues.
