What happens when you've got a god for a parent, and they tell you to go hunt monsters? The answer is this roleplay.
Okay, so you've just found out you're a demigod. Who? Ares? Odin? Kali? Baron Samedi? Coyote? Doesn't matter. You're part of a very exclusive group now. There's a handful of us, and we're the thin, uh, ichor line that stops the supernatural from kicking humanity's ass. Before, we were basically unneeded. Humanity did a good job of taking care of itself and maintaining the masquerade. But things are ramping up, and we're the defenders of Earth against basically anything you can think of that has a basis in mythology, and even quite a few that aren't. Cyclops? Oh yeah, there's heaps. That supposed giant of a Vet who came back with burns all over? He's a fire giant, just gathering thralls. Those pale guys lurking in bars are a batch of vamps, too. It's not just religious mythos.
The signs are all around you, you just need to go looking. Most don't, but you? It's your job. So buckle up, you've got monsters to kill. But are they all monsters? Personally, yeah. But others are more forgiving. All up to you there. I'd say 'have fun' but in all likelihood, you won't. Now get gone.
