Dragons and humans RP
Long ago, before even humans or elves knew this land, there were dragons. Mighty and powerful, these titanic beings roamed throughout the different borders of the land of Arkos, ruled by their great elders, the Ederrun, in tribes. They fought wars against each other and then made peace with each other. It was a land of prosperity and freedom for the dragons......
The elves arrived with little to no conflict, but the humans, blinded by their greed and glory, slew hundreds upon hundreds of dragons, great and small, benevolent and vicious, until a great meeting was called by the Saduun Ederrun, the great chief dragon of all of the tribes. He ordered the Ederrun to take their tribes and withdraw into the great valley, a place with cliffs so steep on the outside that no two legged being, neither human nor elf, would dare scale it. Inside was a land much like the wide ranges they roamed before, but surrounding the habitats of desert, rainforest, swamp, sea, and the barren land like a great round bowl were cliffs only dragons could scale. It was to here that the dragons have been living for the past 300 years.
The Dragons became legend....
Recently, However, there have been sightings of Dragons near the settlements of humans and elves, a few fires, and sometimes entire villages destroyed. The brave souls in the remaining towns and cities have begun to wonder who or what is causing this uprising of the great winged beasts.
Many have ventured to the Cliffs of the Valley but none have successfully made it up the wall. Most have returned in defeat, and others have not returned at all.
A small party will begin to form and the adventurers and scholars and warriors and thieves who make up the party will venture to find out what is causing this uprising of dragons.
