A wide variety of races live in Terra-Gaia. While often not in harmony together, the population has a significant range of species living among them. Still, some races live separated from the common civilization. As many beings and hybrids have descended to the mortal plane, this catalogue shall also list those that would normally exist in other places (ie gods, angels).

Please use the following format and add anything that is appropriate.

Race Name: Khornate Orcs

Other Names: Krorks

Appearance: Krorks are, appearance-wise similar to a mix of Elves, Orcs and Demons. Their muscule, height and strength are that of an Orc, yet they have the agility nearly matching the graceful movements of an Elf. At the same time, their skin is red and their eyes glow like that of a demon.

Known Abilities:

  • Superior Strength: All Krorks have strength beyond the spectrum of most mortal races. There have been records of them wrestling bears and sometimes even dragons to death with bare fists. Their physical capabilities know little to no limit.
  • Superior Endurance: The skin of a Krork is hardened to the point of easily being comparable to metal. Most of them choose not to wear armor, as it would be little more than a nuisance, but those that do wear armor are viewed as leaders and veterans, as Krorks usually only wear armor when it benefits them - meaning it has to be powerful.
  • Non-Magical: Krorks' very existence is devoted to the Blood God, Khorne. He disdains all forms of sorcery and magic, therefore the Krorks cannot generate nor absorb mana from any sources and learning magic is nigh impossible to them. They create an actual field that removes all mana surrounding their body, creating an ever-so-slight form of protection from it.

Description of Origin: Krorks are a race wholly devoted to the worship of Khorne, the God of Blood and Skulls, yet also Honor and Chivalry. When an Orc worshipping Khorne has intercourse with an Elven parent, the result is a half-bred Krork. The only remaining thing to do is perform a ritual that completes their ascension, granting them the soul and mind of a bloodthirsted demon. They are a scarce race, however they all try to come together to create warbands that bring slaughter and destruction. They are known to cooperate with more intelligent beings that they call hosts in a form of natural symbiosis. In exchange for being promised a target to destroy, pillage and kill, they will serve to said being as soldiers.

General Places to Locate: There are numerous, large warbands of Krorks led by their own Warlords. They are usually disconnected societies and the Warlord vows loyalty to a leader that promises a target to the Krork warband in exchange for being his soldiers.

Other:

  • Cannot reproduce by having intercourse with each other.
  • Blessed weaponry is more effective against them.
  • Have a strict Code of Honor taught to them from birth, that states as follows:
  1. Discipline leads to Victory.
  2. It is Victory that brings Glory.
  3. Glory is the gift of Khorne.
  4. In exchange, Khorne demands Blood.
  5. Thus, Blood must ever be spilt.
  6. Therefore, Eternal Glory demands Eternal Discipline.
  7. Eternal Discipline demands Eternal Honor.
  8. Honor is the only true ideal other than Glory.
  9. Honor and Glory are the only things that matter.
  10. Khorne will have blood; yours or theirs.

Race Name: Barrem

Other Names: Snow Trekkers

Appearance:

Barrem are a race of humanoid animals that can effectively communicate like any other race. Their most visible physical traits are their large ears and white or cream fur. They have hands that are adapted to dig through snow and dirt to make their homes and have claws they often use to fight instead of another weapon. They are also of a similar size to dwarves.  Their entire body is adapted to live in the harsh wasteland of Fuya.

Known Abilities:

  • Heightened Hearing - Barrem usually have better hearing than other races as a result of their humongous ears.
  • Night Vision - There is barely in the light of the tunnels the Barrem dig,  meaning that their eyes have to be able to see in the dark to move around and know where they're going.
  • Rare Magic - It is a rare ability, but sometimes the offspring of two Barrem ends up having a form of magic, most normally ice magic. There has (apparently) been water and even electric magic.

Description of Origin:

Barrem appeared a couple hundred years ago, making them a rather new race to set foot on Terra-Gaia. You could say they're still animals without a self-consciousness due to their rather primitive lifestyle but they're fully capable of thinking and acting like people do, it's just that in the severe climate of Fuya it is difficult for one to have enough to live a pleasant lifestyle. They aren't known to worship any god or entity, only worrying about their own needs and of their family's wants. The Barrem are much more family oriented and will most often stay with their family their entire life, sometimes banding with other families they run across. There are currently no major cities or towns for the Barrem, the largest known settlement being a small village known as Weqal.  Barrem aren't known to be bothered with the current affairs of the other countries.

General Places to Locate:

The majority of Barrem live in Fuya and reside in small colonies underground. As a result of where they live Barrem aren't often seen and not everyone knows of their existence. However some Barrem go and live with other races in towns, and sometimes to other countries. This is rare though, and it is unlikely that one would see a Barrem in a city.

Other:

Barrem are mainly unknown to those that don't live in Fuya.

Race Name: Displacer Beings

Other Names: The Displaced; Displacers

Appearance: It can depend on the creature that the Displacer is based upon, but a few things stay in common: any and all fur/hair a creature could have is stained as black as the void of space, and their eyes are opaque, and monocoloured. Along with that, for most, they have a second pair of appendages-- either fore or hindlegs-- as well as protrusions on their backs which serve both as weapons, as they are sickle-like in property and shape when fully extended from their shoulders, but also, as receptors for their Displacement; without these "Obsessors", as they've come to be called over the obsessive behavior these creatures display involving them, a Displacer Being cannot use their power of Displacement, though their other abilities are not hindered. Most Displacer Beings end up being female, with a 75-25% rate of Female to Male, and usually end up slightly bigger than normal, on the Females' ends anyhow. Also, when weighed, formally, Displacer beings will never have any weight; Displacer Beings still adhere to the laws of physics, and aren't allowed to ignore them simply because they can't be weighed.

Known Abilities:

  • Obsessors: The ability of Displacement can only be wielded by a Displacer Being, thanks to their Obessors on their backs. These sickle-like, unique appendages (often jet-black in colour) work as receptors, and without them, DIsplacers can't communicate with whatever great being grants them their power. These Obsessors, also, act as weapons, and though they aren't sharp, have both a great deal of muscle behind them to be used as bludgeoning weapons, and have a great deal of range to the front, back, and sides of the Displacers, and often serve as their final form of defense, if necessary.
  • Displacement: A form of teleportation with no known restriction on distance, and that has little to no chance of accidentally placing the teleporter outside of where they wish to be, and which cannot be tampered with. In order to Displace oneself, a Displacer Being will think of a destination-- usually one that the Displacer has been too-- before letting up their Obessors to get in contact with their "Passenger" as they've come to call it. From there, their thoughts are relayed to the "Passenger", who triangulates the fastest possible route to their destination, before sending out a signal to the Displacer, and instantaneously placing them in that location. This all usually happens in the blink of an eye, and requires little input from the Displacer besides simply putting up their Obsessors. However, as with all powerful abilities, this comes with a severe drawback. Whatever amount of nutrients the body would've experienced, either through sweat, defecation, or simple energy consumption will still be enacted upon the Displacer Being's body. There have been numerous reports of Displacer Beings dying of blood loss, dehydration, starvation, and simple lack of energy. Most diseases, curiously, are eradicated even by a short Displacement. This is true of any parasite within the creatures' bodies, earning them notoriety of being "Disease-Proof".
  • Size: As said previously, female Displacers are usually as-large, or larger than the normal beings of the creatures they're based upon, and are always guaranteed to be larger than their female counterparts.
  • MetamorphosisThere are actually very few Displacer Beings that live. Most simply metamorphize later in life, changing appearance to that which they've last killed. At whatever age it was last is the age at which they'll metamorphize to, keeping most Displacers that aren't killed by hand alive for, if they're lucky, centuries. There are even stories of Displacers that've lived for eons, though these stories are believed to be mostly hyperbole.

Description of Origin: The first Displacers are said to have come into existence as simple earthworms, using their powers and natural predatory instincts to hunt down other prey, before becoming parasites before long, and killing larger prey. The first interaction with a more developed Displacer Being was with a Panther-esque Displacer Being some millennia ago. It was hunted down and killed after demonstrating its power, as many believed it to be an agent of the Dark Gods. This, unfortunately, was not true, and any records henceforth between Displacers and other sentient beings have nearly all but ceased. Though it's unknown where, exactly, these creatures come from (they can mate, but their offspring are never Displacers) but many theorize that this "Passenger" is why they exist, though why it created these beings is unknown. It is, even, unknown if they're at all of this world, period.

General Places to Locate: All over the world, and though there are few Displacers that exist, they've been spotted before in all four lands. They are, however, especially prominently found in Mesopotamia.

Other: The most common eye colours for Displacers are marble white, ruby red, obsidian black, or emerald green, and one's eye colour will never change as they metamorphize to different species.
