- Gei lives in Kaninia, a portion of the Mikkusu realm where a majority of the population was some type of canine Mikkusu.
- Kaede was born to parents who own a traditional bathhouse in Mikazuki, a town mainly inhabited by inus and nekos.
- Takashima was the youngest daughter of a rich high class family in a very wealthy city known as Tencentra. Among the family was herself, her four sisters and her mother and father.
- Kazuhiko comes from a family that lives in a small town named Mikazuki, a place that's mainly inhabited by the Inu and Neko. And they lived rather happily there.
- Sunada’s family is from the City of Issho, a mountainous city primarily populated by Foxes, Inu and Neko.
- He knows his birth family came from Nikku, a small mountain town, and that's all he knows. But, he wouldn't trade his parents for anything.
- He grew up in Kamakura, a tiny village previously ravaged by war, poverty, and famine.
