The Faint Light In The Dark Tunnel Of Life
Adam_Gregory_.jpg
Name: Drew Valentine
Age: 21
Color: Red
Personality: Drew's a very nice guy, witty and charming, if not a little cocky. When he was in school, he played all kinds of sports, only he never had that jock mentality. He looks after his younger brother, Isaac, so he's somewhat of an odd father-figure. Open minded and easy to get along with, he's a pleasant man with good intentions, and kind of a boy scout because of his good nature. He's a sweetheart, but will go brutish to protect what he loves. He was born when the Armada first made an appearance, so he's adapted to living in the domed city.

Brief Backstory: Drew was a star child. He was popular, outgoing, bright-minded, and honest. Everything you look for in a child. He loved sports, cars, and everything in between. He was an all-around normal boy as a child. He and his little brother got along, and he helped his parents look after him. But then...only a few years before Isaac, his brother, started high school...it happened. Drew was on his way home from college at the time, (the only college in the domed city) visiting for a holiday weekend. As he was getting closer to home, he got a phone call, telling him that his parents had died in a terrible car accident. He was heartbroken, only 19, his brother was 15. Their deaths had a major impact on both Drew and his brother...but they had to move on. Drew finished college a few years after his parents died, and he moved into a small apartment. Now his younger brother is 17 and starting his senior year of high school...Drew has taken him in. So now, he works as a mechanic, takes care of his younger brother, and wants to make life better for both of them. But now, young Isaac is sick...terribly sick. Some kind of illness has taken over his brother. Isaac can live normally with treatment, but now it's getting to be expensive. Drew must work extra hard to pay for it.

Extra Info: Works as a mechanic, cares for his now-ill little brother, and has the biggest desire to keep Isaac safe and healthy. He can be a bit stubborn when it comes to his brother, but he just loves him. Other than that, he's a good guy. Although, one might wonder why he could ever be picked to be a hero.

Chloe-Moretz (1).jpg
Name: Jane Romano
Age: 18
Color: Blue
Personality: Jane is a fiery tomboy with schedule of her own. She's a tomboy. She really doesn't associate with girly things all that well, nor does she like to think like a girl normally does. Or at least how most people would expect a girl to think. She's quick-witted, feisty, and has nearly no filters. While she may come off as rude herself, she's actually very sweet and caring, that is, once you get to know her and she's warmed up to you. She's a geek, therefore she's typically seen reading a comic in her spare time, or playing her 3DS. Jane takes pleasure in the little things. Jane's a punk tomboy and she is going to let everyone know it. But under the fiery exterior and weirdness, is a heart of gold and a girl who's just wanting to aspire towards friendship...but she'd slap you before letting you say it. Life as an Armada-era child wasn't easy, but she likes to think she turned out okay.

Brief Backstory: Her father is in the city's defense force. Growing up, she never really got to spend time with him because he's always on duty. But she loves her dad with all her heart. Her mom and older sister are everything to her, she knows they're rooting in whatever she does. In high school, she was the girl who hung out with the guys and was labeled many things. She was bullied by "popular" girls, and she was never considered "pretty" by most people. She had a few close friends, and found comfort in them...whether through talking, gaming, or jamming out to her favorite bands. She plays the guitar, flute, and piano. Her dad raised her to be tough and fair, and her mom raised her to be more gentle and persuasive. Her dad's still going strong in the city defense, and her mom and older sister are just going about daily life.

Extra Info: She thinks of Inezia as a domed version of Los Angeles. (me and pen thought that through) Just started school at the college in Inezia, still undecided on what she wants to do. Technically, even though she's out of high school now, she's still in educational system as a pre-college student. Currently, she's just taking basic classes before she begins an "offical" college career. Some say she's just in fancy high school, funny.

LucasYellow2.jpg
Name: Lucas Fletcher
Age: 22
Color: Yellow
Personality: "How and why did I even get picked?" is a question that's probably quite persistently on Lucas' mind. He's a rather calm and quiet guy and often mistaken for being anti-social by those who do not know him. In truth, he's a kind-hearted person willing to fight to the very end for the few friends that he has. He doesn't talk a lot, especially not about his past or his family. Usually Lucas is far from the bravest, but he'll try to find courage when it's needed. When someone confronts him on being shy, he'll respond with something along the lines of: "I'm not shy, I'm just not comfortable around most people." He likes to read, write, and sing (though the latter preferably not when around people he knows, even though he can sing quite well).

Brief History: Lucas lets go only very little of his past, preferably nothing at all. He left his hometown shortly after graduating high school and moved halfway across the state just to get away from everything and everyone from his previous life, from one far-away domed city to another. Now, this clearly hints bad things have happened to him, and maybe he will open up to some people eventually. The only thing he might let go before anything else is that his parents divorced, but besides that, he'll likely flat-out refuse to talk about his past or his family. Having to start all over again in a new place, however, is more than a little hard.

When moving from one city to another, he saw the pain, chaos, destruction, danger, and all the other nasty things outside of the relative safety of the domes. It's not quite common for someone to leave the domes, so him coming from elsewhere makes him a little bit of an outsider at times. He tried not to let it bother him too much. After all, inside the domes they are safe from what lingers outside, and since he has seen it, he really does appreciate the few domed spots of safety in the wastelands and ruins outside. Lucas is in his second year of college, since he didn't start college right after graduating high school and since he had some trouble settling. He's trying hard to get by and keep up. When not in college, he works several jobs, varying from babysitting his neighbor's two year old son to walking the local dogs, working in a local bookstore and occasionally working in the cinema during the weekends One wonders how he even manages to have enough free time to do his college homework and relax occasionally.

Extra Info: Has a, put it lightly, dark and sad past, hides behind his quiet but happy attitude. Majors in history, but takes several smaller courses on the side, likes surprising his friends once he opens up. Secretly loves fantasy books/movies and (computer)games.

green.jpg
Name: Calvin Taylor
Age: 24
Color: Green
Personality: By the books, hardened, intelligent. Calvin is one of the toughest and high ranking soldiers in the Inezian City Defense. He's seen things, done things, and regretted things. But Calvin has never once harmed an innocent, for he always shows compassion for the weak. Though he can be tough, he has a big heart and a willingness to do what's right in the wronged world. He has a passion for being one of the few good people left on Earth. Being a soldier puts him on the line a lot, and he's learned the definition of struggle. But despite being a tough soldier...he's a prankster. Being in the Inezian military makes you tough, but he sees it as a minor chance to prank. Sometimes, he's a goofball, sometimes, he's tossing pies in peoples faces. Literally. He feels that humor can be more powerful than a rifle any day. His way of keeping humanity.

Brief Backstory: He was merely a one year old, or so he thinks at least, he's terrible with numbers, when the Armada struck Earth. Like all other children at that time, he was scared, confused, and vulnerable. He and his family were lucky, taking no losses on their way to Inezia: one of the closest domed cities. Since then, Calvin grew up a in a normal life. His parents, a brother, and a sister were all he needed. His older brother enlisted in the city defense as a technician, helping to regulate the dome's weather conditions and whatnot. But seeing the chaos and pain from refugees all his life inspired Calvin to follow his older brother years later. He became a soldier, venturing out of the dome to rescue refugees, find resources, and fight off the chaotic outer dome Armada forces. At home, he made his family laugh and smile, but in the field, he made his enemies tremble. Machines and monsters didn't scare him, because he knew they were just mindless and could be taken down with human power. Now, he's just a soldier, fighting the fight.

Extra Info: Trained in hand to hand combat, expert with firearms. Can drive almost anything, has a passion for telling jokes, playing charades, and on occasion...Salsa Dancing. Don't ask why, just...the man likes to dance sometimes!

Skylar.jpg
Name: Olivia Scott
Age: 22
Color: Pink
Personality: A wallflower. No other word could describe Olivia best. Well, a wallflower with a non wallflower lifestyle. All her life, she's been the shy girl in the back of the room, not speaking unless being spoken to. Her position in life, however, puts that into a new perspective. She's known for barely saying two words, but always getting her point across and getting the job done. Olivia, despite the social shyness, is rather efficient and always does what must be done. Yes, she's shy, but she isn't timid. Fun is a luxury, and duty is a requirement to her. She prefers to keep to herself, and stay in her comfort zone, but still being a shoulder to cry on or a friendly smile when the time comes.

Brief Backstory: Being the daughter of Captain Scott, she's always had a position of pride. Born in the time of the Armada's arrival, she's seen hard times. Her father, on his rise to power within the city defense, was hard working and trying. Olivia looked up to her dad, seeing he was busy and never disturbed him. She grew up as normal as possible as one could in the domed city. Her life had never taken an interesting turn, until she officially joined city defense after graduating high school. If anything, she wanted to follow her fathers footsteps, just doing what she could to help. She started off as a trainee in the labs, eventually becoming a secretary of sorts, before finally becoming a field agent/informer of city defense. Being Scott's daughter earned her no special treatment. It earned her basic responsibility.

Extra Info: By regulation, is trained in small firearms and hand to hand combat. Has a way with words, able to pursue people into almost anything. Gentle but swift in delivering a devastating blow. Trained in first aid and actively participating in efforts for relief of the refugees incoming to the city of Inezia.

Tidal.jpg
Name: Tidal "last name unknown"
Age: 24
Color: Shadow
Personality: The initially nameless young man was taken in by Actera when he was found in the wastelands outside of Inezia. Whatever happened to him is initially unknown, but clearly it wasn't much good. Brainwashed into Armada's Super Soldier, Project, and Super Secret Weapon, only little remains of the person he once was, and that might (unfortunately?) never quite return. He was given the nickname "Tidal", so the Project could wander around in Inezia undetected and strike the city from within. Tidal is cold and distant, one would even say emotionless. Is he truly a human being, or maybe a creation of Armada that just so happens to have a human body? He doesn't know, nor cares.

Brief History: Whatever happened in the life outside the domes, it is now nothing more but a distant memory, so distant it seems more of a half forgotten dream rather than a thing that actually happened. Tidal wandered, has seen things, done things. He doesn't regret what happened, mostly because the memories are to faint to generally feel anything at all. All he knows is a more recent memory: a voice calling out to him when he was alone and weak. He was helped, made stronger, turned into something more than he ever would have been on his own. And for this he is... grateful? Really, it is hard to tell feelings.
There is, however, so much more behind this young man, but what is the point of telling when he doesn't even know it himself? He is who he is, what he is. And that's all that matters, to fulfill the purpose Armada granted him. To bring down Inezia and everyone in it, the first step towards the revenge he so deeply desires.
...or at least that's how he started. Now, turned against the Armada, he thrives to regain his memories and redeem himself, aiming to save the city, rather than destroy it.

Extra: Tidal, true name unknown, is one of the unlucky people to have been outside and far away from the domes when Armada first struck. Well... his parents were. He was just a little boy. His parents never had the money to afford the long and dangerous journey to any of the domed cities, and thus they were forced to keep living out there the best they could, facing the many dangers of the wasteland on a daily base. It is not quite surprising Tidal ended up on a wrong path: doing whatever he must to survive, even if it means fighting and even killing to get what they needed to live. The life was harsh, very harsh, but they somehow managed. But... living outside of the safety brings many more problems with it. Namely illness. Tidal had a younger brother who suffered from the same illness as Isaac. Unfortunately they were never able to afford treatment. According to his parents it was partially because the cities wouldn't let all the refugees in, even if they could make the journey there. And this is something Tidal couldn't quite cope with. So it's not surprising to say he was angry with everyone in the cities as he had to watch his little brother slowly wither away.
