Role:

Quartermaster

Personality:

Many would expect the owner of one of the most influential conglomerates on the planet to be a strict disciplinarian with a no-nonsense attitude and the air of an official. Those people would be floored to find that the owner of Croix Industries is literally nothing like that. Veronica is far too eccentric for her own good, often blowing small things out of proportion whilst shrugging at the face of real treats. Whether she does this on purpose or not is debatable, but what is known is that she's got quite the dramatic streak. Often giddy in the face of nearly every situation, Veronica finds humor in both victory and defeat. She's sick enough to enjoy supplying various amenities to ANF and even occasionally taking part in the action herself, but she's also openly enamored by Neko girls, often pointing out what kind of dresses she'd enjoy stuffing them in. Its gotten to the point where she couldn't bring herself to kill a neko girl if she tried.... beat, enslave, or imprison them fine, but NEVER kill! Even despite this adoration, she seems insistent that continually suppressing the Neko populace is not only the right thing to do, its the JUST thing to do.

Biography:

Veronica was doomed to eccentricity from birth, with a father who could be classified as a wacky inventor and a mother who spent most of her time on hunting trips, she picked up an odd assortment of skills early. It wasn't like she had much choice in the matter, as her excessive height was something she had since early childhood. Combined with her oddly wide grins, she was feared by her classmates and avoided often. She instead used that free time to become learned in both her parents hobbies. She was quite an academically productive girl, but that's sorta what happens when you've got literally no friends to distract you.

What was distracting Veronica was in fact the few Neko girls in her classes, as she quickly realized that she found them far too cute for her own good. Studying or designing new hunting gadgets always seemed unimportant when one of them drew near, and the budding inventor would push other designs aside quickly in favor of sketching cute dresses she couldn't help but picture them in.

Her first actual friend in school was one of those Nekos, who would often use the young La Croix's intimidating visage to scare off her potential harassers. Like all the others, Veronica's affectins for her first friend grew the longer she was in proximity of her, until one day she decided to speak up about it.

One day after once again scaring off her friend's bullies, Veronica's initial admittance of affection somehow degraded into a ten minute declaration of undying love since she kept getting distracted by how cure her dearest friend was. But after hearing her friend politely reject her, hoping to remain friends still, Veronica was taken aback at the sudden cruelty shown in what she'd assumed was a walking embodiment of perfection. Obviously she had been mistaken in not seeing those adorable little things as the true monsters they were, and ever since then Veronica's devoted her life to getting back at the unfairly delectable darling-DEMONS!.... all because of a simple middle school rejection.

Veronica would eventually grow into the owner of Croix Industries, a conglomerate responsible for vast quantities of manufactured goods. Croix's officials have always been firmly supportive towards groups working against the Neko population, and is actually one of the stronger financial backers and suppliers of the ANF.

Weapons:

Veronica's signature weapon is a massive musket which is somehow almost as long as she is tall. As old as it looks, the thing's been modified to hell and back by the inventor herself. It's basically a handheld cannon, capable of firing single, high-powered rounds which are capable of tearing through reinforced metals with ease. Despite the weapon's power, the kickback is so low that Veronica can fire it with one hand with no problem.  Its a single shot weapon which requires reloading after every pull of the trigger. In addition to that, its heavy and long enough to serve as a blunt pole arm in the event Veronica can't fire it.

Gear:

Underneath that gangly dress suit of her's Veronica has durable metal bracers on her arms and legs for defensive purposes.

The inventor has a device in her tie capable of producing painfully high pitched noises specifically for nekos with better hearing.

Skills:

Huntress- Having been on many hunts in the past, the Quartermaster has surprisingly fine-tuned hunter's instincts.

Limber-  The tall woman is almost excessively flexible, able to twist her thin form in unexpected and odd manners in nearly the blink of an eye.
