Also, I think we're off to quite a start. A massive blow to the Enforcers, an evicted teen, and an emotional-yet-somehow-holding-it-together Enforcer. Looks promising.

I could edit this first post for all eternity and still not be happy with it, but I figured it was time to let go. I am sure I will be thinking of better ways of phrasing everything in the next couple of hours, but there is a time to work on a post and a time to post it. So there you go.

Quite the opposite, you did in 4 paragraphs what I needed 2000 words to tell. Trust me, it is in the trimming down of the words that the skill of a true writer becomes visible, and on that front I am incredibly inexperienced :)

I love your post. I had such a hard job on mine as Ana is my Characters friend and I didn't want to do alot without her.

Yes, well, ever since I had my character in mind I started to think about that first post. For me, the first post tells more about a character than the sheet. It's usually my favourite post to write, because I get to explore my character. Also, since I have a job that I have to travel to now, I have quite a bit of time to think about this stuff while I'm on my bike. So it wasn't all actively writing, but shaping the character and figuring out how to bring that character to life usually takes me a bit of time :)

You know, now that I see it, you're right. People will judge you by your first line and your last, anyway. Might as well make them good.
