Aurora mumbled gratefully when she was placed back down on the ground, and she had to lean against the counter to catch her breath. Soon after, her grin returned at Lilias' question, and she awaited everyone's answers. It intrigued her to find out what they thought, and if they had scared her, because the bang had scared her too, even though she were expecting it. Taking a quick glance at Gilroy, she cheekily winked a little, before returning to look at everyone again.

The time was 7:00 PM in the Capitol City, and a great party was just starting. The event was held at one of the most beautiful and well known places in the city, the Elden Hall, one of the buildings fortunate enough not to be destroyed in Night Raid's earlier attacks (stupid name, shuddup). The Hall was very spacious in size with high, arched ceilings and two large balconies. At the end of the building was a purple stage where a large orchestra casually and passionately played their merry tunes. The sides were filled with long tables full of the finest wine and foods, fresh and ready to be eaten. A hallway to the right led to a small room where the food was stored, along with all of the assassins weapons. The mysterious figure who supplied them with the invitations had dropped by earlier, taking all their equipment and placing it in the back. When they were ready, the group would head back there and plan. Above the stage was a small balcony that could support no more than three. There stood the empress in a gorgeous red dress with hints of white streaking it. She watched intently at the many different nobles and family members below her as they socialized and drank. Off to the side of the stage stood Megumi, her sword dangling from her side in a slim belt that matched her blue dress. Her eyes scanned the crowd for any signs of Night Raid, which was quite hard to do in a masked party. At one of the tables, drinking her heart out in the most civilized way was Noel, who was enjoying herself all too much when supposed to be on high alert. Ellie was off dancing with some young lad, the young girl having a great time herself.

Outside Alice was walking up the steps leading into Elden Hall, her arm linked with Santios's and her invitation being flashed, signaling that she had the right to come in. Fujio wasn't far behind them, the young boy holding Mari's hand. He had taught her the basics of dancing before they arrived and he was quite excited to share a dance before executing their plan. "This will be so fun Mari." He whispered into her ear, giving the puppet-like girl a warm and reassuring smile. They had exactly 30 minutes until they were to strike.

Zenith rubs his neck and then goes and sits down next to noel and says" I'm glad your enjoying your self but i just got this prickly feeling that something is about to go down, i know you love your drink but please keep your eyes peeled from time to time, as for dancing you can dance with who you like if you want to i don't want to bind you down to much". 'I don't like this feeling the saying goes the calm before the storm but i don't know when the storm will start exactly'.

Sorrow stood beside her waiting for the guard that was suppose to take his shift "this is a wonderful party ma'am and might I add that is a beautiful dress you have there" he had a hand resting on the hilt of his sword that was belted to his waist if someone dare made a move on the queen

Tremki Kaguya

Tremki got dressed up in a casual suit, he wans't often overly fond of the idea of having to wear a suit but he was insisted on this occasion. Besides at least he knew Raven-chan was always there to keep him company and entertainment. He was beginning to grow very fond of the woman. After getting ready he walked out of his quater's with a wide smile on his face, his hair for once, had been parted from his eyes for the occasion and although his hairstyle mostly kept the same at least he was able to see much more clearly. His chains were still under his clothes and they constantly made the same noise when he shuffled around in his suit.

He eventually headed towards the place known as Elden Hall, it was fancy but it was the type of place which Tremki would greatly enjoy blowing up. He never liked things which were 'too neat' or clean, it was probably why he couldn't stand 'Red Dog'. The man acted as if he were dirty when the whole time he was just a playtoy for him. At the time, Tremki still kept one of the limbs which he insisted taking from the body, Polin's tongue was safely tucked in the pocket on his suit jacket, his wide childish smile seemed to be stuck as he went inside the building and got himself comfortable in the area. Seeming to just tick to the corner and playing with his thumbs, every now and then he would take out a candy piece and stick it in his mouth. He was glad at least someone, namely Raven-chan gave him some candy. It made him very happy indeed.

James Tony Sinaris, "Sin"
James was just about ready, strapping the laces of his boots on. He decided for this occasion he would go with what he use to wear, instead of going with his usual coat. He placed on his eyepatch and tied it up around the back of his head and let out a sigh as he strapped both of his flintlocks to his side. He knew what was coming today and what the risks were. But like always Sin was ready to face those risks, he just worried for the safety of his team. He couldn't care less if he were to fail himself, but when it costs so many other lives which Sin has grown quite fond of. It makes one wish these sort of things could be dealt with differently.

Sin pushed himself up out of his bed, walking outside into the open. That's where he and the other member's of night raid traveled to the Capital with both their invitations and masks. His one wasn't really Sin's style but if it meant they could get in he truly didn't mind having to use it. Placing it on his face, it felt awkward wearing a mask over his eye-patch but he had quickly adjusted to it after a while.

Once they reached Elden hall, Alice & Santios seemed to take the lead with going inside. It was odd to see Alice so happy after seeing Santios alive again, he felt it odd that she wouldn't even question what the costs were. For all she knew Santios was now a living lie. He scoffed at it before showing off his invitation and walking in. Sin went straight to the bar, ordering himself only a drink which Sin decided would be the ONLY one tonight "Always good to get the blood flowing I guess" he siad to himself doubtfully before skulling his first drink down. It felt like time was ticking in his ears, the countdown to their attack.

Strauss D. Skull
Strauss knew of what was going on, he was honestly surprised Sin was even game enough to leave his city without letting him know. Or believing that he could so easily slip away right uner his nose. He snickered at the thought as he stood at the edge of a cliff, looking down to the rest of his city with his hands tightly clasped together behind his back. He watched as they left and looked off behind him, to his most trusted man 'Murdoch' "Murdoch, I would like you to follow them, aid them if you need to. I want them back alive, especially Sin. I am no where near through with scolding him for what he done to me, he is the worst brother and even more he's a cocky bastard!" he let out of his gritting teeth. He knew that Murdoch would understand his frustration, after all it wasn't just Strauss Sin once betrayed.

However for now, Strauss felt it was best to keep his forces at bay for now, because whatever Night Raid had been up to he could tell that it was big, in fact he was hoping that they would be able to change the tides of war into Strauss' favor and even if it wasn't Sin's intentions that is what Strauss' plans were. The Capital was his to claim and he wasn't going to so easily let anyone stand in the way of his goal.

Verlin Sohku

Verlin had already been at Elden hall, stretching his arms almost every twenty seconds as he seemingly just stood by at the entrence in his normal attire. While Verlin was not personally invited to the party, he was asked by the Emperor himself to guard the place. And Verlin believed that it would be an easy enough task to do. In a way. Verlin couldn't help but hope that these 'Night Raid' member's would show up, he needed a good fight and he had always been interested in seeing if these guys were the real deal. Or just a group of kids playing with their toys they call teigu. Verlin greatly valued his physical power over his Teigu, while he always found it easy to finish off fights with his mastery in martial arts and the fact how well his teigu combines with that skill Verlin always preffered the long and horable fights over the quick and worthless ones.

Ciri walked just behind Mari and Fujio, but no so much to be intrusive. Her main focus was keeping the both of them safe through all of this, after all. Sure she'd try to have some fun but in the end their protection was top priority. The place was actually kind of pretty..ashame it'd more than likely get destroyed in the wake of this assassination attempt. Oh well, at-least they could have some fun until then.

Alexis Jackson

Alexis was beyond nervous, probably morseo than the rest. She was a traitor going to the Empress' ball, she was more or less serving herself up on a silver platter wrapped in a red bow. Though..She was surrounded by her friends and new allies. She was sure they wouldn't let anything happen to her, and she'd be sure to do the same for them. If it came down to it she'd offer herself up as a distraction so everyone could escape, she knew she was useless without her sword, so that'd be the best use for her in a way.

Andrew and Neuro had arrived a bit earlier than the rest, currently Andrew was leaning up against the side of the eastern wall of the building with his arms crossed, watching everyone do their thing and some enter. His main priority was Sorrow, with his secondary being the Empress. If he could get both? All for the better.

It had taken some convincing, but eventually they'd convinced the massive man to wear his suit. After more convincing..they got him to change his mask for a more appropriate one. A simple white masquerade mask that covered the entire face. Of course, he changed it outside of everyone elses view, but changed it nonetheless. What was a real feat in and of it self was he hadn't maimed anyone yet, especially with all the commotion going around. Of course, he towered over literally everyone there and gained more than a few odd looks. But he paid them no mind.

The two walked far behind the rest at a rather leisurely pace talking amongst themselves. They fully already intended on trying to kill that Alexander fellow they'd been put up against at the Coliseum, if not him..Megumi who he clearly cared about. Or both, if possible. Or maybe just one of them, and leave him alive to grieve as a form of torture.

Santios was next to Alice, his arm linked with hers as they enter the massive hall. Santios whistles, impressed with the sheer size of the place. He flexes out his arms, looking around the entire room, seeing a very large amount of people dancing. Santios grins, looking around at the entire place, and then grabbing Alice by the waist, pulling her in close.

"May I have this dance?"

Gilroy Diasla

Gilroy, in his grey suit, his blue tie and handkerchief nicely highlighting the suit, flashes his and Aurora's pass as they both enter. As they enter, Gilroy looks around, also impressed by the massive hall, the architecture intriguing him. So much money into a hall, when it could have been spent on the people. This ticked off Gilroy, but he holds it in as best as he can, his fingers entwined with Aurora's.

Standing next to Megumi, Alexander was next to her, his suit gleaming slightly from the powerful lights in the hall. His massive Teigu Lance was positioned next to him, the wicked black and silver weapon gleaming with a nasty and deadly glare, as if the weapon was poised to kill. He looks down to Megumi, kissing her cheek.

"You're looking tense again."

Murdoch Montral

Appearing from the shadows, Murdoch looks out, nodding to Strauss at his order.

"Of course. I shall be on my way now."

Murdoch knew exactly how Strauss felt, he knew what his captain was like. Murdoch was gone, slipping into the shadows. After a few minutes, Murdoch was at the ball in a purple suit, his wrist lined with an expensive golden watch, diamond earrings and a golden silk tie. He walks in, the guards already knowing who he was, allowing him entrance. He takes a look around before spotting Sin. He keeps watch, making sure Sin couldn't see the bald assassin.

Neuro kept making a small dark orb in his hand and crushing it every time he did the shadows near them shook in a violent manner for a second "I just wanna get this over with"

Alice smiled as her body was suddenly pulled into Santios, her hands finding its way to his chest. She reached up and kissed his lips softly. "I'd love to dance with you. Please, take the lead." She said, a mischievous look on her face. She found it strange that she was having such a great time during such an important event, seeing that they were about to kill a great amount of people. However she'd enjoy herself while she could.

Megumi jolted slightly as Alexander kissed her cheek. She had been so fixed on the entranceway that she'd forgotten that he was standing beside her. Her gaze drifted from the happy people up to her fiancé, and small sigh escaping her mouth. "I'm fine Alexander, just a little worried. They could be anywhere right now, and we wouldn't even know it..." She said, taking his free hand with her own.

Noel rolled her eyes as Zenith told her to keep an eye out for any assassins. She quickly downed the rest of her drink before getting herself a new one, turning her attention to Zenith. "Don't worry baby, I'll keep an eye out for any baddies. I'll whoop their ass anyways." She said with a grin, giving him a quick kiss. As more people came to the bar, a sudden and familiar presence caught her attention. She recognized it to be the gun guy from the forest, the one she "killed". "Now if you'll excuse me, I have some dancing to do." She said, walking off into the crowd and making a big loop. The pirate came up beside Sin, nudging him gently with her arm. It was great to see him again, assuming that this was the right guy. "Hey cutie, I thought I killed you."

Matsuri turned her attention to the guard standing beside her, the boy complementing her dress. Her eyes narrowed slightly but not in a hostile way. "Yes, I suppose this a wonderful dress. Thank you Sorrow." She said firmly, nodding in thanks before turning her head back to the crowd. She could feel the presence of the assassins, but wasn't scared. She had a wonderful plan that she was anxious to initiate.

Zenith starts move away and smirked as he saw the man he put a bullet in and noel flirting with him but no matters, his darker nature ready to pop out when needed and said in a low voice" now time to find me a dance partner, preferably my height so that's because that would be kinda awkward, i ". ' I don't want to tie noel down or be really insecure but i don't like guys like him at all '.

' I also didn't mean to sound rude to noel but with my sixths sense going off the rocker i can't help but feel edgy' . Zenith grabs a drink from one of the waitress on the floor and nods politely then continues to look around hoping to find a decent dance partner.

Morgan watches with her sensei and says" I've been trying in the last few day or so i really want to try out the basic move i evolved, i can sense many different types of energy's clearly not that of normal people question is where are they".

Aoi in her black strapless dress with a bat mask just randomly dancing around looking around the place in between, she is also getting a sense that something is going to happen but for now is playing it cool, sometimes looking for erin because he's late.

As soon as the new guards came with Dante in the back he bowed to the empress "goodbye mistress" he turned and walked out the door of the balcony and as soon as the door shut behind him he mumbled "goodbye bitch I hope night raid puts a bullet through your skull" he walks out onto the dance floor coming upon a nervous looking girl he walks up to her smiling "hi you seem a bit nervous you ok?" He asked the girl completely oblivious to the fact she might be a member of night raid

Santios smiles, taking gentle and gracious steps. While Alice didn't know, Santios had been learning hoento dance for 7 years, only for moments especially like this.

"Your movements are so fluid my love. I'm glad we finally get some time like this. We still have about half an hour before everything goes down. Anyone you want to take out specifically first?"

Alexander smiles, taking Megumi's hand. He looks over, seeing the Empress and Sorrow as well. Other than Sef, Alexander, Megumi and Sorrow were the personal guards of the empress tonight, mostly because of Night Raid. His fingers entwine with Megumi's, looking over at the massive party.

"This is especially tricky, since everyone does have a mask on. By the way, here. Not only will we fit in AND look cool, but it will be a tad harder for Night Raid to identify us."

Alexander takes his own mask, and he gently presses it on, allowing the smooth grooves to hold it in place.

Yeah..Just I don't really come to parties often. Parents kind of made me go." She replied. "The Empress really goes all out for parties doesn't she?" She asked him.

The time was 7:00 PM in the Capitol City, and a great party was just starting. The event was held at one of the most beautiful and well known places in the city, the Elden Hall, one of the buildings fortunate enough not to be destroyed in Night Raid's earlier attacks (stupid name, shuddup). At the end of the building was a purple stage where a large orchestra casually and passionately played their merry tunes. The mysterious figure who supplied them with the invitations had dropped by earlier, taking all their equipment and placing it in the back. When they were ready, the group would head back there and plan. Above the stage was a small balcony that could support no more than three. There stood the empress in a gorgeous red dress with hints of white streaking it. She watched intently at the many different nobles and family members below her as they socialized and drank. Off to the side of the stage stood Megumi, her sword dangling from her side in a slim belt that matched her blue dress. Her eyes scanned the crowd for any signs of Night Raid, which was quite hard to do in a masked party. At one of the tables, drinking her heart out in the most civilized way was Noel, who was enjoying herself all too much when supposed to be on high alert. Ellie was off dancing with some young lad, the young girl having a great time herself.

Outside Alice was walking up the steps leading into Elden Hall, her arm linked with Santios's and her invitation being flashed, signaling that she had the right to come in. Fujio wasn't far behind them, the young boy holding Mari's hand. He had taught her the basics of dancing before they arrived and he was quite excited to share a dance before executing their plan. "This will be so fun Mari." He whispered into her ear, giving the puppet-like girl a warm and reassuring smile. They had exactly 30 minutes until they were to strike.

Ciri walked just behind Mari and Fujio, but no so much to be intrusive. Her main focus was keeping the both of them safe through all of this, after all. Sure she'd try to have some fun but in the end their protection was top priority. The place was actually kind of pretty..ashame it'd more than likely get destroyed in the wake of this assassination attempt. Oh well, at-least they could have some fun until then.

Alexis was beyond nervous, probably morseo than the rest. She was a traitor going to the Empress' ball, she was more or less serving herself up on a silver platter wrapped in a red bow. Though..She was surrounded by her friends and new allies. She was sure they wouldn't let anything happen to her, and she'd be sure to do the same for them. If it came down to it she'd offer herself up as a distraction so everyone could escape, she knew she was useless without her sword, so that'd be the best use for her in a way.

It had taken some convincing, but eventually they'd convinced the massive man to wear his suit. After more convincing..they got him to change his mask for a more appropriate one. A simple white masquerade mask that covered the entire face. Of course, he changed it outside of everyone elses view, but changed it nonetheless. What was a real feat in and of it self was he hadn't maimed anyone yet, especially with all the commotion going around. Of course, he towered over literally everyone there and gained more than a few odd looks. But he paid them no mind.

The two walked far behind the rest at a rather leisurely pace talking amongst themselves. They fully already intended on trying to kill that Alexander fellow they'd been put up against at the Coliseum, if not him..Megumi who he clearly cared about. Or both, if possible. Or maybe just one of them, and leave him alive to grieve as a form of torture.

He was one of the few not wearing masquarade masks but he was dressed rather nicely (what he is wearing in his aplerance pick) and held a glass of wine in his hand. "Are you enjoying the party mistress?" River asked her

"Yes mama!" Silith said happily as she walked with anna and looked around the ball happily. There was so much stuff it was like she she was in a magical plase she had never been to before and was facinated with all she saw

A giant smile plastered on her face as she walked hand in hand with Fujio, squeezing his hand light as she stared up at his masked face in excitement. Never had she been anywhere so elegant or as beautiful as this. Mari wore her dress proudly, hair adorned with roses and thorns, her rose's eye blending in with the actual mask itself as if it were part of the mask. "I really hope so!" Her little smile worn as if an accessory on the young doll girl. Glancing over her shoulder at the tiny yet adorable Ciri in her little dress, Mari couldn't help but smile even brighter at the bunny teigu. "Lets have lots of fun." Speaking happily to Ciri as she continued her walk with Fujio forward.

Isaac nodded then moves slowly just as they practiced and says" Tonight is going to be special in a different way, after all remember your my first serious girlfriend and i know you have some concerns but i hope we work for a very long time".

Spice follows to dance floor and then smiles and makes a joke about it" I don't know about you sera chan but i can work rough or smooth i'll just have to make sure i have a different set of music for each mood or piece of crap night raid i beat on". Spice moves her body and hands so they can get ready to start dancing, wei-kun shows up in his dragon mask and mixed green suits and just stands by and waits for them to have their fun.

Aoi finds erin with ease and pulls him into her and smells his hair liking the smell, and sweetly says" If your always in such good shape like to i might have to be a bit more serious about you, but till such a day i won't expect you to after all you'r my beloved master and i'm happy for you as long as your happy".

Aurora's mouth dropped open as she looked at the place in front of her, and her eyes glittered. Following by Gilroy's side, they walked in. It was magnificent, elegant, and above all, just mesmerising. In her opinion, they had truly out done themselves, and she hadn't even given a second thought as to how much money it would've cost. Noticing his tenseness, she removed her hand from his and snaked her arm around his larger one, her fingers hooking around his fore arm, just above his elbow. In this position, she could pull him closer, so much so that her hip was touching his side. The silver mask she wore reflected the sunlight, and made little rainbows dance across the walls of the momentous hall. Her hair was half tied up, the top part in an elegant, messy bun, whilst the other was left in loose waves along her back. As for her makeup, Ciri had only applied mascara, and lipstick. The lipstick was a deep browny purple, and looked cute against the colour of her dress. Soon after looking around, she looked back up to Gilroy, smiling.

Corruption. Was the only thing Rin could think of when walking into the famed Elden Hall, with all it's grandeur. Yes, it was pretty, but all of the foods and wines were pointless. The money could have gone to the poor, but yet again, the empire tended to the needs of the rich and noble. This left a sour taste in the ironically noble blooded assassin. Rin sighed, the run down and decrepit site of his old family manor was in view from the outside, and it annoyed him even more. Upon entering the hall, he flashed his invitation to the man and then put it in his pocket, taking a quick glance at the two very observant people standing out front. Then, he walked in, his hands behind his back as he did so. Now it was time to put on the act. Because he had to hide Kyūketsuki out back, he carried with him a dress sword and had hidden two daggers up the sleeves of his suit. The dress sword was sealed in a scabbard that matched his white and red suit as well as his black and white mask perfectly. All of this was a precautionary set up, should action unexpectedly arise and he is forced to fight without his Teigu. However, he'd most likely be able to slip away and retrieve it anyway walking around the hall, he blended in perfectly. He proceeded to engage in a conversation with a group of nobles. Rin was posing under the name of 'Jose Montilyet of the North'.
