Mat got up, giving Asami a deep bow, "Ah. I apologize, Ms. Asami. I didn't mean to call you Asama." He looks up, a serious look on his face, a small frown on his face as he offered a nod, sitting back down, letting out a disappointing sigh. Picking up his cup to drink some more tea from it he realizes he drank it all and sighs once more, gently placing the cup down as he listened to the two's conversation.

"Eeh? Really?" Mako cups Asami's hands in hers, her eyes sparkling. She knows how important milk is for the other girl; just the fact that she is willing to part with some of it so she can share it with Mako...
"You are a true friend Asami-chan!" The sound of china clinking together followed by a forlorn sigh brings Mako out of her daze just in time to see the man she has been bugging for the better part of the day stare longingly at his empty cup of tea.
"How about that cup of tea now, mister~?" She asks, tilting her head to the side with a smile.

"That's heavy. But you're really determined, eh? Going through bad times builds character. We'll get along just fine." Kirai said with a smile and cracked her knuckles. "I suppose I should offer my part with the happy friendly bonding times." She chuckled and pondered on her past. "I lived with my master up until age twenty-one, being a common neko with her common master. He was really cruel and rude, and never even gave a shit about me. He only used me for housework and something to play around with. Disgusting..." She shook her head just thinking about it. "I decided to run away, and I stole a good bit of his money, then became a well-paid maid until I earned enough money to do what I wanted. I opened up the Neko Cafe a few months ago, and rented my own apartment." She explained with a relieved sigh to be where she was now. "I... feel pretty accomplished... some of my employees actually look up to me..." She said with a blush.KebabQueen said:

Asami blushed when he got up to apologize, she had never seen a customer get up to apologize to her. "Please no, that wasn't uh necessary." Asami said as she stuttered and her ears pointed straight up. @Jacob Berry
"Yeah just come with me to the back and I'll give you some," She said with a smile as she let out a chuckle when Mako took her hands in hers in appreciation. Mako was so sweet and kind to Asami, so the least Asami could do was offer her half of her milk. @ObviouslySketchy

Mat waved a hand, "No, no. My fault. It should be my responsibility to apologize and recognize my mistakes." He gave a small, confident nod. @sprouhtt
Mat looked up as she heard Mako talk to him, tilting his head slightly, "Isn't Ms. Asami my server though, Ms. Mako? Or does that not matter?" He couldn't help but think how weird and interesting this place got at times, taking a deep breath he offered a smile, "Oh! Oh. Never mind." @Jacob Berry Okay, Mako probably deserves that: the man being wary of anything she offers him from this point on, but she couldn't help but feel a tiny bit hurt over his refusal. She quickly brushed it off however, nodding thoughtfully at the man's assumption.
"Oh yeah, she is. I suppose it would be rude to steal a coworker's customers, wouldn't it?" Mako spent a few moments deep in thought, her ears twitching faintly now and then.
With a snap of her fingers and a triumphant grin, Mako straightens in her seat, eyes fixed on the man.
"Would you like for Asami to bring you another cup of tea, mister~?"

Mat frowned slightly as he felt he was being rather rude to Mako and whatnot. Letting out a faint smile he leaned back in his chair, "Yes, that would be rather bad for the work space and rude to steal Ms. Asami's customer. Next time, you can be my server. Deal?" He put out his hand, offering to shake Mako's, blinking at her. @ObviouslySketchy

@Jacob Berry "I'll hold you to it." Mako declares, shaking hands with the man. Noticing his fumbling and odd behavior, Mako leans back in her seat to get a better look at the exchange, one slender eyebrow raising as a sign of her curiosity.
'Ohoho~ what have we here?' She muses, a slow smirk blooming on her face. 'What is this I smell~? Drama?' With a few languid swishes of her tail, Mako tries to make herself as small as possible in order for her to better notice the interactions between the two.

Mat offered a small, almost cute nod, muttering quietly, "Yes. Please and thank you." He backed away from her, feeling uncomfortable being that close to someone. He thought it would be very odd and weird for someone of his age to like chocolate milk, something primarily eight year olds enjoyed. Sitting back down he looked at Mako, "You look awfully suspicious..." his voice quiet. Letting out a sigh, he leaned back in his chair, trying to relax a bit more.

Out of nowhere, a recently recruited neko employee barged into the door with the most excited of looks on her face. "Kiraaaaaai!" She greeted playfully, her tail swishing around and her ears pointed straight up. It was Natsuki, a cheerful and flirty neko who was ready to get to work. She stepped toward the counter, wearing her work uniform and waited to be assigned a task.
"I've got nothin' for ya right now, those guys over there are just socializing. Maybe you should join em'...?" Kirai suggested with a little smirk.
