Fandom Bleach : Prelude to Your Death

"This one is ready. Tell me your name, comrade." The new Arrancar, small in stature, just looking at the three of them with an absent-minded gaze. "Wo..Wonder...Wonderweiss...." Aizen smirked and then stood up from his throne. "Now, let us go fulfill your purpose, Wonderweiss. Gin, let's go." Gin, smiling slyly like usual, began opening the Garganta, and the three of them; Aizen, Gin, and Wonderweiss walked through it and shortly, they arrived at the Karakura Town.


As he arrived, he saw that only two captains there, fighting his Primera, Edge. He recognized both of them as gifted Shinigami, and remember they used to work together, as a group of three. It seems they were missing one person, but he didn't care about it. "Now, how should we begin?"

A 12th Division member came to the First Division barrack, and it seems he brought an emergency message. "Excuse me, Captain Commander. We have a large reiatsu reading, and it looks exactly like Captain Aizen Sosuke and Captain Gin Ichimaru." Yamamoto, after hearing the word 'Captain' in front of the traitor's name, hit the ground with his Zanpakuto, which made a strong flame-like reiatsu pouring from him. "They're not Captain anymore. And it looks like, I need to take care of things personally."


After that, Yamamoto leave Chojiro behind to take care of things on his behalf, and then quickly moved to the Senkaimon, and then transported to the human world. When they arrived, he only saw 2 captains fighting an Espada, and another two which position not far from here. He also saw Aizen and Gin, standing not far from where the fighting happened. "It looks like, I need to punish these young boys myself..."

Rafael saw that while Cojo wasn't going for his Resureccion yet, he was in fact going for the kill. He seemed to be quite confident in his abilities, like most of his comrades. What could he be doing with that piercing?


Then Cojo charged forward at blinding speeds towards Rin. That was when Rafael realized it had something to do with Cojo's power. It probably wasn't a Resurreccion--that would have been accompanied with a more visible change--but his power clearly increased drastically. The Espada was clearly trying to eliminate his comrade as quickly as possible. And he wasn't going to let that happen. Four black rings of reiatsu appeared around Cojo's wrists and ankles. In just two seconds, they would solidify into portals, hopefully cutting them straight off. They could be broken with enough damage, but the question was, could Cojo destroy them fast enough?

Riyoshi was standing there and as Ohtori pointed over to the two captain level pressures, HE went to make the move but that is when his feet stopped moving. An even greater reiatsu made it's way to Kurakura town. A sinister grin grew across his face as he brought his hand up and grabbed ahold of Ohtori.


"This is where I will leave you. You go help the captains over there, I have other matters to attend to." Riyoshi spoke as he knelt down and placed Ohtori upon her feet.


So, Gin and Aizen both decided to show their faces here. This is perfect. Riyoshi thought to himself as he stood up.


Getting to his feet and looking over at the direction of the "traitor" captains, Riyoshi placed his left hand upon the hilt of his zanpakutou and began to take a deep breath. At this point, Riyoshi was about to take off in a mad dash for Aizen's location, but the captain commander had shown his face and his reiatsu overwhelmed his own. He wanted to make a dash for it, but he knew that if the captain commander had made his way here himself, he was after the same thing he was.


If you play this out correctly, you will get your revenge. Just follow the captain commander and sneak your way into the fight. Cerberus spoke out to Riyoshi.

Aizen noticed two more captain came after Yamamoto himself appear. One of them, he noticed it as his disciple, Riyoshi. He seems to had a bit of composure that the last time they were together. But, the other one, quickly move to them and draw her Zanpakuto.


Gin noticed that one of the captain, the small, kitsune-like captain, quickly charged at him. Grinning at the little captain's attack, he quickly dodged to the side, and behind his robe, he shoot out his Zanpakuto right at the little captain's heart. He didn't attack with the intention to kill, but since it was at a point blank range, it should at least wounded her.

Kasenada, still catching her breath after using multiple high level Kido in succession, was thankful that Kaneyoshi came and blocked the Primera's cero. "Arigato, Kaneyoshi-kun. This one is no joke. We should work together, and I wish Kyou were here. The three of us will surely defeat him in no time." She stood up, and then assume battle pose, when she felt a menacing reiatsu came from the Primera's back. It was Aizen Sousuke and Ichimaru Gin, and onther unknown Arrancar. Another Espada? And the big bad boss came. This won't bode well...


And at the same time, Captain Yamamoto appeared not far from their location, and with him were Captain Nihoma and Captain Murakami. She sighed in relieve for their presence, but, when Ohtori-chan quickly charged at Gin, she quickly yelled at her to go back. She could die, I should use Danku... Damn, no time for the activation...

Kaneyoshi - Karukara Town


It was an exhausted Kaneyoshi that managed to stumble back to Kasaenada's side on legs that barely managed to not tremble. His arms still felt numb from the blast of cero that he had fielded, though he had yet to deactivate his shikai. He was covered in sweat, his shinigami uniform was tattered especially at the lower sleeves, and his face and hair were covered in grime and dirt. He felt every bit as disgusting as he was sure he looked. How unsightly one ended up looking in the middle of or after a battle, which was why he hated battles in the first place. It would be suicide to do so anyway, especially with Aizen, Ichimaru and another unknown Espada making their presence felt. It was the entrance of those three that made Kaneyoshi move towards Kasaenada despite his exhausted and unsightly state. His blood ran cold at the sight of them and at least with Kasaenada by his side they stood a slightly better chance of making it out of this alive. Kyou was nowhere to be seen though.


He shook his head, a worried frown on his face. "Kyou is strong, I hope he's doing all right at least. Though I sure would welcome his presence here too. Especially with those guys around." His voice sounded a bit frayed to his ears, as he nodded his head to indicate the enemy's presence. And then he stiffened and readied his swords. Against Aizen and Ichimaru alone he was not sure if he would make it out of this alive, much less against two more Espada, but dammit, he was not going to go down without putting on the best fight possible.


Much to his relief, more combatants showed up next; this time, on their side. General Yamamoto, along with Nihoma and Murakami. He practically sagged with relief, slumping over slightly with a smile of sheer relief on his face, only to stare in shock as Murakami launched an attack at Ichimaru of all people. "Is she insane?!" He stuttered, sounding extremely outraged. "Does she want to die that badly?"

Just as he was finished attacking the blonde captain, more people have arrived at the scene. It seemed that Aizen and Gin were to join in this time, and they brought a new Arrancar with them. He seemed more peculiar than the others he has already seen. Oddly, he didn't seem quite that powerful. Edge was curious with what was Aizen's intentions.


He looked to the other side. Three more captains, or so he assumed from their clothing and reiatsu, joined the fray. There was one who was particularly intriguing. An aged man, and yet, he seemed to be the most powerful out of all of them. The chills he felt were almost similar to when he fought Aizen.


"This must be the Captain-commander I keep hearing about." he thought to himself.


He gave Aizen and Gin a sharp look to see what was going on. Aizen looked like he was going to do nothing.


"Aizen..." Edge almost said scornfully. "I already said I can handle this." he said.


He looked to the other captains and entered his drawing stance.


"Don't you even think of going after them with me around." he told the other captains. "Dragon's Slash!" he yelled.


A large wave of reiatsu was unleashed from his Zanpakutou as he drew the sword from its scabbard, wide enough to cover a good area, travelling towards where the female and blonde captain was standing. With another slashing motion, he fired another wave to where the captain-commander and the other captain was.

Kyou Takanade - Sahara Desert


The combo attack of his water dragons and Tsuzuri Raiden had hit, and by the looks of things, caused a bit of damage to the hollow. Kyou kept his calm and collected expression on even now, and didn't show any sign of happiness that the attack had hit. Yes, it hit, but the fight wasn't over. And it was bound to piss the hollow off. Retaining his grip on his Zanpakuto, Kyou jumped back in order to gain a larger distance between him and the Espada, what Captain Suzamajori would do was unknown to him. What happened next however, grabbed Kyou's attention. Cojo revealed his ranking of being the #2 Espada and Kyou closed his eyes momentarily, "I expected as much." With that being said simply, Cojo released a huge burst of sonido and continued his assault. First he attacked Rin, and then he appeared above Kyou and brought his foot down at a crushing speed and with great force. Using his own speed to match Kyou placed his palms forward and towards Cono as a wall of solid water was formed to take the brunt of the attack, however it did cause cracks by the captains feet. "Impressive" Kyou stated before releasing a burst of shunpo to gain distance and then slamming his hands together before saying, "Daunkurasshu!" And with that, a huge portion of the water around Kyou broke off and formed hundreds if not thousands of solid balls of water (Note: Each one is around the size of a bullet) that, with the guidance of his hands, were sent crashing down towards Cojo at a frightening speed. If he wanted to attack with the intent to kill, then Kyou was going to do the same.

Kasenada saw the the Primera decided not to care about Ohtori, instead he decided to attack her, Captain Yamamoto, and Kaneyoshi. This time, it was an attack from quite a distance, so she still able to cast a protection Bakudō. "Tch. Bakudō #81, Dankū." She managed to create three-layered Dankū , wide enough to cover the three of them. I can't show any weakness, not in front of the Captain Commander and Kaneyoshi. Me, who graduated the academy with the best score in Kidō, and candidate for Kidō Corps Chief, shall show what I can do!


She then recovered her stance, and then prepared to fire another barrage of Kidō spells at the Primera. She clasped her hand together, and began an incantation. "Walls of iron sand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Standing upright, silent to the end. Bakudō #75, Gochūtekkan." She then pointed her fan toward the Primera, "Speck of hope, disappear. Emptiness, come and reveal yourself. Despair, manifest thyself. Bakudō #79, Kuyō Shibari." Eight black holes appeared around the Primera, with the ninth appeared in his chest, and then five massive pillar, that she summoned before, crushed the Primera to the river below. Luckily, they was fighting above non-residence area. Kasenada was panting, but she tried to hold on, as she knew that those spell won't do much on him. She musters all of her strength left, and pointed at where the Primera fall with her fan.


"Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands, unable to touch the darkness. Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky. The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders. Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower. Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired. Hadō #91, Senjū Kōten Taihō! Not..yet! Hadō #88, Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō!!"


Both Hadō reached the Primera at the same time, which created a massive explosion that surely, even Aizen himself, damaged. She then fell on Kaneyoshi's arm, and her Zanpakuto reverted back to it's sealed form. "Looks like, I pushed myself to far, Kaneyoshi-kun..."

Riyoshi brought his hand up to catch the young Captain, Ohtori, but by the time his hand was where she was, she was already over at Gin's location. With a smirk on his face, Riyoshi hade no choice but to join her.


She is either really smart, or completely dumb. Cerberus spoke out to Riyoshi.


The sincere smile grew over his face seeing is how he was not going to be the only one to jump at the chance to fight Aizen and his crew. With a twist of his foot, he vanished from his location and appeared with in striking distance of Aizen. Riyoshi was in a knelt down position as he appeared in front of Aizen. Opening his eyes, Riyoshi's eyes met with Aizens. His hand was gripped tightly upon the hilt of his zanpakutou and with a twitch of his arm, he began to withdraw his blade.


"Get going Ohtori. I have this here." Riyoshi spoke out loud enough for her to make out her order.


Cerberus, this is going to get out of control. Are you ready for this? Riyoshi thought in his mind.


Just as he finished his sentence, his blade was completely drawn and he pointed it upon Aizen's chest. Getting up to his feet, Riyoshi was now eye to eye with his mentor and his expression was emotionless now. He could not let Aizen see he was happy to be in this situation.


"You and I have some things to talk about!" Riyoshi yelled out at his former captain.

Kaneyoshi - Karukara Town


Blocking one cero beam was enough; Kaneyoshi did not want to have to deflect this one as well. Instead, he flash-stepped away, the reiatsu wave flying harmlessly past just a strand of hair away from his right sword. Fortunately, he was far away enough to have seen it coming and to be able to deflect it in time. He had been surprised; he had not been expecting to be drawn into battle so soon after Aizen's appearance. He had yet to fire any commands, and for some reason the Espada had actually seemed irritated at Aizen's presence, going so far as to attack himself and the other shinigami on his own initiative. He wondered if Aizen had difficulty leading some of his own Espada.


Either way, that still did not bode well for him because right now, he was still under attack. Kasaenada fired off a succession of five kido spells, HIs eyes were wide in admiration. They had studied together in the Shinigami Training academy and her kido spells were the best in their entire cohort. It was always an immense pleasure to see her use Kido in combat, from the flowing, poetic phrases, the almost dance-like notions and finally, the raw destruction that they unleashed. Some alarm showed on his face when he saw her stumble and he quickly rushed to her side, fast enough to hold her steady as she leaned against him. "That was beautiful," he whispered in return. "I would not be surprised if that Espada did not emerge with some injuries after that."


It was now time for his move as the Espada seemed detracted with dealing with the effects of the kido spells. "Poisoned Fangs," he called out, his right sword arm moving in a series of graceful slashes in the direction of the Espada. Where those slashes landed, numbness would set in, which would prevent the Espada from moving completely in about two minutes, provided the Espada did not deflect those slashes. The killing blow would have to be saved for later, though perhaps not by him.

Rafael watched as Cojo engulfed himself in his own Cero. Honestly, he wasn't expecting Cojo to do something that desperate, but he supposed it was the first thing that came to mind. However, he had obviously pissed Cojo off immensely, because the next thing he knew he was being ruthlessly pummeled and being caught in multiple Aleteos. He couldn't keep his Resureccion up much longer, if he persisted it would be damaged and he would be stuck in it. Thus, Rafael, even as he was being struck over and over by Cojo's Hakuda strikes, jammed his scabbard (with the sword still inside) forward into Cojo with all his strength, aiming to hit him straight in the solarplexus. This would hopefully wind him. Regardless of if it hit, he then teleported around 100m away, on the other side of a nearby dune, and held his scabbard out in front of him, performing the resealing technique. The armor faded away, and his strength and speed returned to normal. This way, he wouldn't risk being stuck in his Ressureccion.


Then, he heard Cojo use a Grand Cero attack. Realizing what that meant, he suppressed his reiatsu and quickly dashed behind the cover of the dunes to as far away as he could get from Cojo's blast. Then, he unsuppressed his reiatsu just after the Grand Cero fired.


The explosion was massive, blanketing the entire area in a wave of sand, and creating several new burns on Rafael's body, even though he had been quite a ways away from the blast. When Rafael freed himself from the sand, he stood up and created another box of portals around Cojo. This time, the portal box was surrounded by a frame-like barrier of reiatsu. If Cojo looked into each portal, he would see exactly why. The portals--all six of them--were located inside the corona of the sun, blanketing Cojo with temperatures in the multimillion degrees Celsius along with massive amounts of radiation. Making a portal this far away used up a large portion of Rafael's reiatsu, but it was doable. And the barrier would stop the heat and radiation from leaking out, and would take quite a lot of energy to break. Cojo could very well be instantly disintegrated in temperatures this hot.

Rin Suzajamori: Sahara Desert





Everything honestly happened to fast for Rin to gauge. First she was about to be attacked, it was stopped by Rafael, smaller explosions. Bigger explosions. And ultimately a Grand Cero that'd kill her if she didn't get the hell out of dodge. She was hit by the edge of it, luckily she'd gotten out of the way of the main impact or she'd of been killed. Though, it almost did kill her. Infact, she was currently dying lying on the ground. With the remainder of her strength she grabbed the hourglass that was now on the sand in front of her. "Time..Warp." She muttered before crushing the hour glass.


A resounding pop echo'd throughout the area she was in before a swirling black flame engulfed Rin. Once it dissipated she was healed of all fatal wounds, essentially revived, though no longer in her Bankai and no where near recovered enough to re-enter said state. Forcing herself shakily to her feet she winced from the pain and watched the fight rage on while she recovered. You're not the only one with tricks up their sleeve. She thought, grinning at Cojo the entire time.

Rafael watched as Cojo broke out of his technique effortlessly. Cojo kicked him in the chest, sending him flying. His whole body was awash in pain as Cojo used his most devastating Hakuda techniques. Even his Hierro wasn't enough to protect against Cojo's attacks. At best, it only dampened the impact by about 50%. And 50% was still plenty enough to hurt. But Rafael had not gotten this far just to die at the hands of a completely apathetic monster like Cojo. He would get his information to the Soul Society, no matter what!


As the final kick knocked Rafael to the ground, he figured it was time for his last-ditch effort. He unzipped the white jacket that was the upper portion of his Arrancar uniform. He opened it up, revealing a white cylinder where his Hollow hole should be, in his left pectoral muscle. The edge of the cylinder was a transparent ring lit by blue LEDs. He put his palm over the cylinder's face, and twisted it counter-clockwise, with a mechanical whirring and locking sound being heard. The ring glowed orange, and Rafael's reiatsu skyrocketed to levels far above his original maximum. He was infused with days worth of built-up reiryoku from the Hunger Machine's battery. And now that the Hunger Machine was off, he felt so very hungry. He wouldn't have minded taking a bite out of Cojo!


He rushed forward, his unzipped jacket flapping in the wind, at a truly mind-boggling speed, his blade in his hand once more, as he attempted a devastating combo attack. His blade danced at near-imperceptible speeds as he attempted to cut Cojo to ribbons, slicing and stabbing up, down, left, right, and diagonally, attacking at the abdomen, ribcage, kidneys, shoulders, jugular, hamstrings, forearms, kneecaps, and generally everywhere that might be even slightly important to Cojo's anatomy, all while liberally using Sonido to teleport around Cojo, attacking him from all angles. Then, for good measure, he attempted to hit Cojo's crotch with his pommel, to disorient him for his next attack. He reappeared in front of Cojo, attempting to grab him by the neck, squeezing as hard as he could. While doing so, he put his palm directly on Cojo's mouth and fired the strongest Cero he could muster directly into Cojo's face. It was unlikely that even Cojo's Hierro would protect him from this brutal assault.

Setsuna had just returned from patrolling only to hear the worst news ever. " What! Where is he! " He yelled a he grabbed the man who had just informed him that the Chef Captain had joined the fight. He threw the man away as he began searching for the Captain. On his way he saw someone he despised. " Gin! " Setsuna yelled.

Aizen looked at the child-like captain, and just smiled at her request to fight Gin. "Go ahead, little fox." And not long, his puppet, Riyoshi came and yelled at him, said that he still has unfinished business. And another one joined, this time it's Gin's puppet, Setsuna that joined the party. Gin, like usual, just smiled slyly and clapped his hands. "Aiya, it's getting crowded, Captain Aizen. Well then..." He then took out his Zanpakuto, and pointed it at Setsuna, who he deemed the easiest to deal with. "Ikorose, Shinsō." The Zanpakuto grew longer with speed, with Gin aimed it right at Setsuna's heart. Aizen just standing motionless, watching Gin attack the Shinigami captains.


Meanwhile, Yamamoto just looked expressionlessly at the arrival of some of Gotei 13 Captains, and some of them quickly charged at their enemies. "Now, the real battle will begin." He then stepped forward, and released his Zanpakuto. "Stand back, children." Yamamoto's cane peeled off, and it changed into a katana. "Banshō issai kaijin to nase, Ryūjin Jakka." With the release, all of them there, Shinigami and Espada, could feel that the moisture around the area was evaporated, and flames pour out from the Captain Commander's blade. "Now, how shall I punish you, traitors?"

Kyou Takanade - Sahara Desert


How annoying. Cojo had resulting into releasing Cero's left right and centre. Apparently, Captain Suzajamori was out for the count and Rafael had taken a more direct approach by going in with his Zanpakuto. Kyou chuckled, and kept a straight, emotionless face on. It was then that he noticed the cero being fired off toward him at unthinkable speed. Kyou used his fasted shunpo to evade the attack, but it had managed to smack into his arm. He than noticed the grand cero coming his way and with a slight scowl he held his sword up in front of him, as that was the only thing he could do to really defend from such an attack. When the cero met his blade, it forced him back a few feet, and injured him slightly, but the injuries sustained wouldn't stop him from fighting. he stabbed his Zanpakuto into the ground as all of the water in the area began to swirl around Kyou violently and at almost near untraceable speeds. The waves were crashing about everywhere, the rain got heavier and the sand was being eroded away at. With a clap of his hands he called out, his reiatsu almost exploding. "Kaminoyari!" And with that the rain began to join together and form an incredibly large spear that fell from the sky and hurled towards Cojo at speeds incredible. With Rafaels omnidirectional onslaught and this attack, he was bound to get hurt. He sighed and then looked at Captain Suzajamori with a nod and a smile before turning back his attention back to Cojo.
