  Born in a clutch of 3, Sirena lived the first few years of her life with her sisters, happy and carefree. They worked together to survive, mainly because they had no parents to speak of. After a while, the sisters wanted to visit different parts of the ocean, but could never agree on which parts. Eventually, the sisters split up, one in the East, one in the West, and one in the South. They each fell in love with their respective locations, and decided to stay, keeping in touch every so often with the others. They now protect the aquatic lives in their territories, entrusted with the task of keeping the oceans safe for all fish and echinoderms. Because she is so skilled at her job, she is known as the Queen of the Seas by many of the ocean's creatures.
  
  
  She has been entrusted by her sisters to guard La Cœur de la Mer, the hidden treasure of the seas. Not only is it valuable, but it has many secrets to be unlocked. Of course, Sirena is the only one who has cracked any part of these secrets because she has spent the most time with the gem. She wears it around her neck for safekeeping since it's what she considers the safest spot for it to be.
  
  
  She has also been entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the water goddess. Unfortunately, she was stuck with this task because the goddess was believed to be in her portion of the seas. This is unfortunate because none of the sisters know who the goddess is. They will only know when the Cœur de la Mer resonates with her. While the jewel is a mermaids' treasure, it generally helps with their duties, which is why this is a function of the necklace.

Personality

Unlike many other pirates, Edward is a man more fixated on his future self than his current self. What would that future self's life entitle? A peaceful one with thousands of golden doubloons in his possession. A life, that many pirates never really consider. With a calm and composed mindset, Edward never really acts out of haste nor would he jump into situations without a plan. Unless of course, he was being charmed by a lady. This lust is often one he never accepts, and is disgusted by it. But he always finds himself trying to flirt with various people.


A charismatic and sarcastic person, Edward often uses his sarcastic side to get annoyed comments to much of his delight. Friendly antagonisms are often something he would use when someone's in the middle of explaining something, or if Edward's just really bored. His charisma on the other hand, is what he usually uses to get out of sticky situations, or to just make his life much easier.


Edward's agressive side is also a side that is both grateful and ungrateful of having. When in the mood, he could often be seen as an overall rude or cruel man, something that would usually be out of his character. His cruelty, is sometimes a trait even the toughest of pirates seem to question. Often found killing off his prisoners for convenience's sake or just having the look as if he doesn't value human life at all, this is a trait even he's shocked by.


Overall, Edward's calm and collected mind is usually never shown. For most people won't respect their quartermaster is he has higher morals than rum and plunder. Which leads him, the put of the guise of a half-drunken moron. When around all his crew however, when speaking privately on the other hand, his demeanor suddenly changes.

Background

There was a time, where Edward never saw the surface. The Xebelians, were a race similar to the Atlanteans. However, their home where based in the Bermuda Triangle. The ships that fell victim to the triangle, where sunk into the home of the Xebelians and they used the broken ships as components for various things. Edward, was born into this life, and never felt so limited. There was nowhere to go, unless he wanted to get out of the triangle, where he's not allowed to visit.


By the age of 12, Edward took training in order to become a soldier for the Xebelians, but he never wanted this. Life as a soldier never appealed to him, he wanted a different life. A life where he would be the one commanding over others rather than someone commanding over him. He often heard stories of the surface world. Adventure and spoils for the taking, stories like this got him motivated to move away from Edward's superiors.


There was a day, in which Edward's wish came true. At the age of 17, he found himself doing some field work on the surface, disguising himself as a noble. While everyone was sleeping, Edward quickly took all the doubloons they had to ran as far as he can away from his group.


Later on, Edward joined the Bloodied Roses as a rigger, which got him in the knack of climbing. His training to combat the people of the surface world seemed effective as well, showing fineness and skill in each battle he took apart in, unlike some of the rest of his crew. At some point in his life, Edward was proven as a worthy subordinate and was promoted to quartermaster, where he had authority over everyone, except for the captain of course. Now with a good source of income, Edward planned on completing the goal he gave himself. Become rich beyond anyone could imagine, and settle down in an expensive manor. That would be thinking a little bit too far however, so Edward just enjoys life in the meantime while also gaining all the riches he desires.

  Hydrokinesis: Like the rest of his race, Edward has the ability to manipulate water. Causing it to take shape and form in any way he pleases, Edward usually has no need to draw his blade unless provoked enough. However, this has his limitations. The most he can manipulate is two barrels full, so Edward doesn't have the ability to send tidal waves crashing down at enemies.
  
• Amphibious Nature: Being able to breathe fine in both water and above ground, Edward finds no risk in drowning.
  
• Superhuman Speed: Limited to when Edward's in water. Edward has the ability to swim at extreme speeds. However, his attack speeds are much faster as well, considering how he's used to battling underwater.

Behemoth: A impractically large sword, as tall as Kala herself (5'12") and clocking in at 300 pounds. A sword that Kala can wield with ease. While it looks to be singled edged, the serrated edge is fully functional, able to saw though almost normal substance with ease. The weight of the sword makes it impractical, if not impossible for other enemies to block by normal means.

Perfect Precision: The ability to exact at all times. A simple say of describing this power could simply be saying that Kala never misses her mark, not matter how imprecise she may seem. Even if not looking at the object in question, Kala can always hit spot on. This power is mostly used in her medical profession, but has practical use in combat as well.


Leviathan physiology: Being the Leviathan Kala is blessed with naturally higher power and endurance. She is able to breath underwater, swim faster than humanly possible and survive in cold temperatures. Being the Leviathan she has control over water. Able to control the waves, make them bigger, more powerful. Able to change the tides of the ocean and if she can focus enough, create massive tsunamis. Her teeth are also made to rip apart meat. As the Leviathan, being a demonic creature, Kala is weak to holy magic, not including exorcism magic. She also becomes weaker in hotter temperatures or dry places. Unlike a normal human, Kala can die from dehydration much faster, making dry places incredibly dangerous to her health.


Medic: Kala is a skilled medical staff. A master in homeopathic medicine like acupuncture. She has knowledge about the human body that most doctors would never know, able to stop blood flow in a certain area, or increase adrenaline output with only pins and needles or by pressure points. This is where Kala's Perfect Precision helps. "I can break every bone in your body, while naming them."

Personality


Deceitfully motherly, Kala is a wearer of the uncanny smile. A happy go lucky woman that is always polite and well manured. Kala can always be seen with a smile that can tell quite the tale. She is a warm mother figure to her crew mates, caring for them the same way a mother would her young. She protects them with the same vigor as well, willing to be both the sword and the shield for her family. She is always seemingly happy, and inspires happiness in others. Although the origin of her constant happiness can be hard to track sometimes. She tries to teach her crew manors, weather it be making them chew with there mouths closed at the dinner table, or introducing themselves to the one they are about to kill. The only time Kala can be seen without a smile is when she is worrying about the safety of her family. Her family is also the only thing she will ever truly worry about. To Kala, there safety is number one, and when something threatens their safety it becomes Kala's job to destroy it.


While kind and motherly with her family, Kala is a sadistic monster none the less. She enjoys the pain of others, she thinks that the twisted face of a suffering man is like a work of art. Her life as the Leviathan has made her nearly addicted to drowning other people. Her past actions have not only made her well adapted to causing pain, but enjoy it as well. Her personalty is a little dark, Kala can say things that most find grotesque or inhuman with relative ease. She makes light of things like death and tourcher without much thought.

Bio


Kala is the Leviathan. The giant sea monster that sunk ships, killed millions and destroyed port towns, Kala is the same monster. Over the many years of the Leviathan's life, it changes. It's old body dies, changing into a new form. Kala is the 50th incarnation of the Leviathan, a sea monster in human form. Of course, when Kala took her human form she continued with her rampage on the high sea. But being in human form, every death became a little more personal. When Kala was so big she never took the time to really look at the people she drowned in her sea. But in her smaller human form, Kala took time to look at every humans twisted and gruesome face. They all had expressions of terror, frozen in time, just for her. Her chaotic escapades got even worse as Kala began to become addicted to the rush of seeing the warped faces of the drowned.

As time went on, Kala got more and more sadistic. She began tempting men into the sea, only to drown them, to see their broken and betrayed expressions suspended in time. But there was one chance meeting, that for better worse, changed Kala. One man in particular, a scrawny man of brown hair and short height, Kala dragged this man 12 leagues under the sea. Like every man, Kala began drowning him, but unlike every man, he was smiling. Kala had drowned many people, but none of them had ever smiled before. Kala spared the man from a deep sea grave, only to ask him why he smiled. His answer was simply, because he loved her.


Kala didn't know what awakened in her on that day, but she let the man go. Every day for the next two years, that same man would return to the shore where Kala tempted him, hoping to meet again. After two years, his wish was granted, and Kala came to him from the waters, declaring her love in return. Kala stayed on the shore with the scrawny man, they had dreams together, dreams of starting a family. A change of pace that Kala surprisingly welcomed. That plan was soon set into action after the two wed. Eight months after Kala had been impregnated, she suffered from a miscarriage, the baby died before it had the chance to leave her womb. Both Kala and her husband were shaken by this turn. Five months passed before they tried again, to no avail. This time the miscarriage occurred after seven months. They tried again, and again, and again. After Kala's seventh miscarriage, there was no more hope left for a family. Grief stricken, Kala could no longer face the man she loved. She ran, screaming out to how she was scum, how she didn't deserve him. Kala ran into the sea. 120 years after that event, the man is no doubt dead.


No one knows how, or why, but one day Kala just appeared on the Bloodies Roses's ship and asserted herself as the ships medic and carpenter. She didn't take no for an answer.


I think i an gonna draw the line at being able to make a tsunami, as a too strong of a power sorry.

Bio: Every since she was born, Hiyori has had a nack for the magical arts. Often when she was suppose to be studying on history, she would read magical books that she got from the library. She soon learned the basics of elemental magic, it even thrilled her to know that she could one day muster a tine flame. One day when she was walking home from practicing her magic in the forest, she noticed a large smoke pile coming from the village she was living in. She quickly got back to her home, only to see not only her parents but her entire village burned to a crisp and floating in the ocean. The building were burning down, fire swept through the village like it was an unnatural case of the black plague.





After the fire burnt out, she gathered all the villagers by using her first ever power, Telekinesis. After to buried them, she decided that this wouldn't let her down and continued on her trek to magic. So she backed up the belongings that weren't burnt in the fire and walked to the next town. Once there, she sneaked onto the pirate ship 'Bloodied Roses' when they were in dock.

Bio: Meraid was born in Ireland, to a poor family. At age 10, she ran away, and got on a ship, HMS Resolution, as a ship's boy. As time passed, she got bored of this life and began stealing small vessels. This brought her into the pirates world. She managed, just barely, to join a crew, on the Emerald. This didn't last for long, as there was a mutiny, and the captain was overthrown. She was almost killed in this encounter and decided to get her own ship and crew. She stole a medium sized ship and hired a crew. They gathered captives and sold them, and also ambushed merchants ships, and sold the cargo they stole from those. She got enough money from that to get a larger ship, the Neptune's Pride, and still sails it today, raiding and capturing on the high seas.

She still grew up in comfort and secretly played with dragons behind her fathers back, when he died she took the throne early on and hasn't aged since.
