Fantasy No Mortals - An over-the-top, sci-fi/fantasy RP (Always Open)

Alvis sighed with relief as she searched for another gym. "Ummm." she was confused on how to find one that would benifit her powers, make it more of a challange, or provide more exercises for her. "Do they have anything for air?" She asked no one in particular, but hoping that maybe Nenn was listening. Hopefully they answered her question, and gave her a place to Practice with a purpose. Maybe later she could spar with someone of either similar oflr above level as her. @Rurnur

Nova didn't want to take a chance with Mandara's defense, and attempted to dodge anyways. Besides, she reasoned that the added distance of rolling out of the way would be good.

(Now we wait to factor in @Sputnik 's blocking)

Chive had a feeling tat someone was calling his name. The other immortals were probably gossiping, unaware to the fact that merely the mention of his name drew his attention. He could feel their intents, something of malice and fear. He brushed it aside and left his room again. There was another sparring match in the training rooms, so Chive decided to listen in. He made no effort, again, to hide himself. Letting his darkness spill out into the world, he wondered if it would distract the others that were training... He hoped so. It would be funny to watch. As he sat in the corner of the room, the only one that didn't seem to fear him was the new girl, but that was because she didn't know him. The others noticed him immediately, but he didn't pay them any real attention.

One of the many attacks found a way through her barrier and landed on her causing some pain but mainly annoyance, her face showed no reaction to the pain. She couldn't let herself get distracted, especially in front of the new audience. She notice that Mr. Demon man had come to watch, she could tell by the way the light around him acted, but she made no move that she had noticed him. She knew she should be able to put on a good show and prove to him that she wasn't a weakling and that she had no reason to be afraid of him.

She quickly made a counter attack at Lana. A beam of concentrated light formed in the air near Lana before shooting forward to attack.

Alvis sighed, disappointed that Nenn hadn't answered her at all. "Maybe he's not for everyone." She smiled sloghtly and decided to look for it on her own. Slowly she went from door to door, finding one full of leather, fire proof. She thiught with a smile. I'll show that to Nova. Finally she came to one, full of obsticles made for air. Walking into the place she smiled widely. The only way to get some obsticles out of the way was to precisly move a stream of wind through them and hit a lever on the other side. Others were more complex and Alvis giggled and clapped her hands. "Perfect." She whispered to herself. @Rurnur

It was dark. She was not alone, however. Sitting before her "father", shrouded in the shadows. She was crouched on the floor before him, bowing so low that her hair touched the ground and the steel grates made divots in her flesh.

"Do you understand? You will go to the Fleim System and participate in their Games. I'm interested to see what the new blood are up to, see if their souls will grow into something worth feasting on." (( @Sinister Clown if you'd to insert your own quotes, PM me and I'll edit them in ))

"Yes, father" she muttered. "I am prepared."

"Hurry then, and make sure not to return with bad news. I don't want to be forced into punishing you again."

Her breath hitched in her throat. She could not show him that she was afraid. "Yes, father." she muttered. "I know."

"Very well, then. Leave. Do not return here until your mission is complete. I have a lot of faith in you, Spider bite. If would be... disappointing to squander that. You are dismissed."

She stood and pushed her way out of the chamber, past the large oaken doors and stood blinking in the light of the Hall. It was time to go.

Her spacecraft,
The Web, was parked right outside. She ran through the arched entryways and jumped into her craft. On the passenger seat sat her Spider Masks, hiding her identity and displaying her mission. She shuddered. She'd have to hurry.

Licking her lips in anticipation, she started the craft and sped off into space. The darkness comforted her. She was lusting for blood, but she controlled her urges. Being an assassin, one had to have self discipline... And, did she know discipline.

It took her a couple hours until she reached her destination. She landed her craft and slid the Mask on. It was clammy against her face.

Disembarking, she walked to the front entrance. She knew she was being watched. She could sense the powerful auras of those inside. Her gut jumped. It would be so
fun to just kill them all...

"I am here to participate... In your Immortal Games."

Avis closed the door behind her, making sure no one could come in. Walking over to one exercise she smiled. "I'll work on strength, then acuracy." She decided. Her accuracy was already levels higher than her strength.

Before her stood a large... boulder like thing. It was obvious that one was supposed to use their powers to push it forward and she smiled. Starting out slow, Alvis put forward small bursts of wind, until they got stronger and stronger. Soon her arms were shaking with each effort and she grinned. Now she would hold her strongest winds and keep pushing, unlike the continuous short bursts of wind. Drawing in a quick breath, Alvis shoved her arms forward and a torrent of contant wind came out the end, and the boulder like thing started moving slowly, inch by inch. And with that Alvis made her torrent strobger, and the boulder moved faster. Soon she had the boulder on the opposite side of the room. Her arms no longer shook, and she had more control over the strength she had gained. Walking to the other side of the boulder, she started again, but this time immidiatly having a contant stream of wind, instead of bursts, then the torrent. Repeating this over and over, until she could move the boulder with one push. Alvis giggled and smiled happily. Now she needed to try to float it. Holding her hands forward she focused a circle of air under the boulder and made it spin faster and faster, until the giant boulder was floating above the ground. Slowlh but surly she gained more control over it. Happily Alvis moved it faster and faster, but made sure it was sill oder her control. She moved it by pushing from she sides with bursts of air, and keeping the swirling air under it steady. SooN Alvis set it back down and jumped with excitment. Deciding to think of other things her wind could do, Alvis sat against the wall, studying each obsticle. @Rurnur @enoc010201

Nenn had detecting an incoming energy source, watching curiously as the strange figure boarded the ship, he spoke into the loudspeaker. "Welcome! Simply head into the main hall, follow the signs to the private quarters, find an empty room to claim for yourself, and enter your name in your personal monitor! You'll be informed of any further information, meanwhile, why not get to know our other entrants?" He blinked and few times, taking a closer look at this person. "And, well.. seeing as you're so eager to join up, you could spar with some of the others! Maybe help me out and get them to sign up too? Eh heh heh.." He laughed nervously, scratching his head. @enoc010201

Deciding to try the accuracy course, Alvis studied it and smiled. The first one was simple, her snake of air weaved through it gracefully and hit the lever on the other side. That gave her an idea, if she made her air go fast enough, it could become a solid like form. And form it into a dragon or large animal. Alvis grinned at the idea and promised herself to try it.

Closing her eyes she held out her hands to start making multiple spheres of air. Slowly the grew in strength and size until they merged to become a long snake, she kept the winds going until the snake was solidlike, then started to weave it through the air with a smile. It wasn't an actual snake but it would do well enough.

"Will do," she said in reply to the voice from the intercom. She entered the building and when she did, her breath was taken away. How magnificent! She'd never seen anything like this in her entire life! It was beautiful, all the auras! She could sense them and she was so, so excited! Her upper lip twitched. Her urge for blood was almost in-suppressible. Almost. She had her orders.

She sensed an aura nearby and saw the Immortal out of the corner of her eye. She was making figures out of wind... How cute! Spider felt her senses tingle and she ran her tongue across her lips.

She followed the signs down to the dormitories and chose one that hadn't been signed out. It had a garishly red color, but at least there was a bed. Setting herself down, she ran her fingers across the fabric sheets. Soft.

The other Immortals probably sensed her presence as well. There could be no hiding, which was not ideal for an assassin. She'd been in tougher situations, but at least her orders were clear then. This was a difficult mission. Did the Council want her to sabotage the Games? Or just kill all the other Immortals?

"Ugh, this sucks. Why does he have to be so vague? What am I doing here!?" she moaned to no one in particular. If she stalked them, she'd look suspicious. If she was too friendly, they'd suspect that as well. She'd have to maintain a perfect balance in order to attain her goal.

She jumped up and headed out towards wherever the other Immortals were... The training facilities, probably.
Here goes nothing, she thought.

"We have a new friend, it seems."

Chive sat in the corner of the training room, bored out of his mind. When the new comer came, he knew immediately. It was a girl, with strong malice hidden behind her facade of secrecy. He could already tell he liked this girl. He might even be nice to her. Make a friend. Or at least, by friend he means she'll die quickly when the time comes. He could feel her blood lust, and he wanted to match it with his own. Desperately he wanted to fight her, to see who had the stronger lust for blood. This would be fun.

Lana's flesh shield became punctured and she slid back shaking her head quickly. She immediately knelt down as a pistol appeared in her hand, she began to fire off rounds at the two she was facing. The ammo she used was special and were wrapped in her own flesh so if they hit, she could manipulate her opponent from afar much easier.

At the same time her minions begs to form a larger wall of flesh to defend her once more.

Lana has 82 soul left.

Mandara quickly prepared another barrier attempting to block Lana's attack.

Lana's attack hit Mandara's wall of light and stopped immediately. The intense light burned the bullet and flesh making it disappear in a foul smelling cloud of smoke. With the attack neutralized the light dissipated but a shimmering still hung in the air showing that Mandara was prepared to defend again. "You're turn" Mandara said to Nova head not turning. She stared at Lana ready to move at a moments notice.

When she entered the training room, she saw two figures and a third sitting in the corner. The sparring ones she didn't pay attention to at all, but the one sitting by himself... His ache for blood was... Well, the least she could say was that she was quite excited. She knew that he wanted to kill her. He wanted to kill everyone in this room. But, strangely, he wasn't doing so. Probably, he was just here for the fun and once he got too bored, he'd just end it all in a massacre. Spider so desperately wanted to be a part in that.

But now, she'd have to play nice. Make some friends, until, of course, they decided to kill each other. Her upper lip twitched beneath her mask. She walked over to the boy who was sitting alone in the corner and leaned back on the wall.

"So... You want to kill them all, too?"

@Splat

Chive smiled in a way that made the cracks in his skin glow slightly brighter. He knew He was spot on about this new girl. It was interesting for him to meet someone else with a blood lust similar to his own. He wondered if this was the feeling that he gave everyone else. There was one thing though, her soul hadn't been corrupted at all by the consumption of mortal souls. That was their main difference.

"Yeah, I guess you could say I do. It isn't the right time, though. I need to be patient. You do, too."

Chive got up to face the girl. He had a thought. She might be useful.

"Have you ever consumed a mortal soul?"

He placed his hand on her shoulder and let his overwhelming power flow through her, with all of It's darkness and taint.

"This raw power could be yours, too. I feel that there is something holding you back from acting on your wishes that is not your own will. Does this pertain to matters unrelated to the Immortals? I feel that I could be of great use to you, and you to me, as we fall down into the despairity of demonhood."

Leon was completely lost and had no idea what was happening around him. How long now had he been on the space station? What was he looking for, or better yet why was he here? He look out into the galaxy trying to find his 'home' planet. It was so far away now and it seemed he was purposeless, he dug his face into his arms as he rested his head. His reddish eyes staring off into space, and his white hair covering a portion of his face. Everything seemed fine, and everything was fine at this point, even with his questions. he felt happy and at peace, he even had a large smile that stretched from one end of his face to the other. Then he felt something in his stomach, it was like a twisting, it made him shiver and his mood was changed. He felt as though he didn't belong anywhere, and as though there was a hole in his heart eating a way at his very being. He moved away from the window he had be looking out of and where he had been resting his head. He placed his body on the wall next to the window and slide down it until he had reached the bottom, tears were streaming down his face. "I shouldn't even be alive, I am waste of space, a waste of life." His hands were on his head and he was pulling at his hair as though he was going to rip it out. When his hands were pulling at his hair he was digging his nails into his head. His self loathing wasn't very quiet and if you were standing on the other side of his door you would have been sure to hear him putting himself down.

Seeing that that Nova girl must have been distracted Mandara decided to try and make her move before Lana had enough time to rebuild her living flesh wall. She concentrated, the light shimmered forming two glowing spots that grew brighter and brighter until two beams suddenly shot towards Lana.

((I want to try a double attack and see how it would work, Lana would pick to block or dodge and would roll two dice, one for each beam, and then I would roll two, one for each beam, correct?))

Azara was doing his own training privately. He was standing within a room covered in greenery. He'd made sure to find a small room to reduce his energy usage. He needed to learn to take a few hits as well as avoid them. Standing in the center of the room, he had spiked vines imbued with his energy attack him randomly, making sure they didn't warn him first.

Depending on where the attacks were aimed, he would either dodge or guard. Sometimes he could do neither and instead would find himself slammed back and forth, taking serious hits to both his spirit and his energy. It was a...unique feeling. For the first time, he felt exhausted as he sat on the floor, regenerating his energy and spirit.

The damage on his spirit felt like little cracks in glass that slowly repaired itself. He flexed his fingers slightly as he relaxed "Strange, feels like by taking damage, I actually grow stronger" he always felt stronger surrounded by plant life, but this was a different feeling.

While he was resting, he took the time to tinker with a few other plants. Poison pollen was his current project. He could fill an entire area with poisonous flowers that expelled the pollen. Once inside of the opponent, he could activate it with is own energy to cause damage from the inside.

Zane was leaning against the walls of the training room as others entered and the sparring match continued. He heard a new voice arrive. Hmm yet another immortal enters the training room I see. He opens his eyes looking towards the girl, putting a face to the voice. Hi names Zane he says as he walks over towards Camille and Chive. Black powder appears and starts taking the form of a sheath katana sword. he places the sword in front of him having it stand straight up with both his hands on top of the sword. Care for a spar?? he asked the girl with a grin. @enoc010201 @Splat

Spider grinned at the boy as he began to speak. Such raw power. His lust for blood was nearly overwhelming the closer you got to him. He would be fun to pull into her web.

"Yeah, I guess you could say I do. It isn't the right time, though. I need to be patient. You do, too," the boy said and she nodded. Her mission was not to kill them all, but to gather information on the unknown Immortals. Maybe killing them all would be an added bonus.

"Have you ever consumed a mortal soul?" the boy asked and suddenly moved. She readied her defenses but she quickly determined that the boy was not out to harm her so she let them drop and let the boy's hand touch her shoulder. Once he did a surge of power ran through her body. It was dark and terrible, filled with so much strength. She quivered. Oh, this was going to be so fun!

"Not yet," she said. "Although, with what you have just demonstrated... I'm going to have to try."

"This raw power could be yours, too. I feel that there is something holding you back from acting on your wishes that is not your own will. Does this pertain to matters unrelated to the Immortals? I feel that I could be of great use to you, and you to me, as we fall down into the despairity of demonhood." The boy said and Spider chuckled. So he could sense that, too.

"I agree... To join you would be very... Stimulating. Maybe, if you help me accomplish my goal, I could help you accomplish your goal. However, I don't do "allies". My motives are constantly in flux. Maybe we could think of it more as a give an take relationship?"

Before she could say any more she was interrupted by another Immortal.

"Hi, name's Zane," said the other Immortal. She didn't care for names the names of these people. "Care for a spar?" She could see black dust gathering to form a katana in front of him.

"Alright. But don't expect me to play fair," she said. She nodded at the boy on the floor and followed the other Immortal to a place where they could fight in peace.

"Let's do this," she growled.
