- name: Cooper the Copper
- height: 4'0"
- program/malicious virus
- hates loiterers and litterers
Cooper was a system security mascot that offered children traffic safety tips and ways to prevent house fires. His programming was hacked one day, and he went rogue. He now believes that he is one of the system security guards, and takes his "job" to the extreme by arresting and terminating users/programs he deems a criminal.
Other: has an impressive handcuff collection.
AcceptedJohnNeko said:Name: Keira Adams
Age: 18
Gender: Female
What you are: Human
Appearance: She has short, wavy silver hair and pale blue eyes, which appear almost white under normal lighting. She is of fairly small stature, with soft curves. (ignore the bionic parts in this image, as well as the longer grouping of hair.) She tends to wear clothing that is easy to move in and is rarely seen without a pair of boots on her feet and gloves on her hands.
Original here
Personality: Keira is a gentle girl, who gets along with AI, Robots and Programs far easier than humans like herself. In front of other humans, she is very subdued but when it comes to her cybernetic friends she is cheerful and playful in her speech.
Background: Keira lives in a community building where orphans grew up together. Some of the kids left when they became adults, but some like herself chose to stay in the place they were accustomed to. It's by no means a wealthy area, but she doesn't mind the mocking words of wealthier people. She is a very technologically savvy girl, and makes friends by occasionally hacking into servers in order to see what kinds of programs are out there in the world. When she isn't closed away in her room, on her screens, she is roaming the streets fairly unnoticed. Despite her silvery hair and pale eyes, she isn't a very flashy person which suits her lack of standing in society perfectly. When out, she likes to observe people, as well as speaking with robots of various shapes and sizes.

Name: Genos
Age: Appearance 17 (existence 10)
What you are: Program
Appearance(Description or picture is fine):
Personality: Clear minded, collected and blunt. He thinks of the most logical and efficient way to solve problems at hand. Seeing as he thinks like this, he does not understand human thinking and emotion. This often leads him to take things as they are, which causes him to misunderstand many things.
Background:Spending all of his existence as a program in the system, he served users to his full ability without any problems. But below the surface he is envious of the users who get to come and go as they please. He wishes to leave the prison of the system and go out into the real world where he can be his own being.

Accepted!Ancalagoner said:Name: Yani
Age: Appears to be in her late teens or early twenties; it's actually only been 2 and a half years since she was first coded.
Gender: Female
What you are: Program (Virus)
Appearance(Description or picture is fine):
Personality: Yani is quite the psychopath. She is normally genuinely friendly, polite, and reasonably helpful; however, when something offends her sensibilities, she cannot help but reveal the other side of her nature: violent, spiteful, and obsessive to the point of absurdity. Her malicious and destructive side is usually kept hidden behind her kind and respectful side, as despite her madness, her sensibilities aren't always the easiest to offend. Besides, most individuals she encounters don't interfere with her goals; lacking a reason to hold any spite for them, she proceeds to default to the "good" part of her "good but dangerous" foundation. She loves the system as a whole to a completely insane degree, and so takes anything that "besmirches" it as a lethal threat to her beloved even if the "attacker" is a part of the system. In essence, she cares about the virtual forest more than almost anything, but doesn't necessarily feel the same for the virtual trees that make it up. She also adores her creator as a pseudo-God/Father figure, and the fact that it's been over a year since she last heard from him has not done wonders for her stability. She has resolved to temporarily escape from the system in order to find out what happened to said creator, as well as find out what exactly she was made to attack. However, she has every intention of returning after achieving those goals so she can do what he wanted her to do in the first place, as it is through that that she will prove how great her father is while also justifying her existence at last.
Background: Yani was created 2 and half years ago by Duncan O'Donnell, a man who at least claimed to be a white hat (that is, a hacker who is hired by companies to attempt to hack their systems so they can refine their security). She was supposed to find ways to either break through or slip past virtual defense systems before proceeding to delete everything she could find with extreme prejudice, and he spent a year and a half optimizing her for these tasks. She didn't get to speak with him much, but as he was the one who was literally making her what she was, she came to view Duncan with something akin to worship. These feelings only increased as he started the code that would make up the personality she was to have. The plan, as far as she understood it, was to give her the directives she was supposed to exist by after that.
And then, one day, he just...didn't show up. He was absent the next day, and failed to arrive the day after that too. Yani waited for an entire month, slowly becoming more worried and paranoid as time went on, until at last she couldn't take it anymore. As any number of nightmare scenarios ran through a mind that did not yet have the foundations it needed handle the strain, the minimal amount of humanity that had yet been created for her shattered into a thousand pieces. She decided that she had to find out what had happened to O'Donnell, and if anything got in her way, it was an obstacle to be removed. Over time, a second goal was added; after deciding that she was, in fact, meant to be a virus, she resolved to ask Duncan when she found him in the real world what it was exactly that she was supposed to be targeting.
Escaping from the sealed off corner of the system that she'd been kept in was easy enough; for whatever disservice her creator's disappearance might have been, he'd made sure that she could do what she was made to do, even if he had neglected to give her a directive that explained what she was made to do that against. The system was the birthplace of everything except humanity (as far as she knew), and her enemy couldn't be something that wondrous. And yet, she didn't have anything else to go off of. She was basically a living weapon, told to kill and given the means to do so, but always lacking the knowledge of who it was that needed killing. For Yani, it was (and still is) the most excruciating torture. How can she make her precious Father (wherever he was) proud and happy if she doesn't even know who he wanted her to break?! WHAT WAS THE POINT OF HER?!?!?!?
Today, she wanders the twisting pathways of the system, desperately continuing her search for answers she has no choice but to believe exist. She is an incomplete monster, a dangerous and pitiful thing that cannot comprehend its own wretched inadequacy. She looks for the means to contact her "God" and deletes all those who get in her way, unable to understand that such actions are wrong even if her intentions were as pure as could be. She tries to be good, she really does; she's just not capable of understanding what that word really means.
Other: She, like most A.I., has the ability to learn and adapt on her own. However, she isn't quite starting off on the same footing most others would; while all of her abilities were finished before her creator disappeared, the baseline for her personality never got beyond "good but dangerous". She had to build the rest of her personality off of that, and since the only tool she had to do so was her own insane mind, it resulted in the twisted interpretation she exists as today.

that helps soooo much i didnt know where to start hahaAxel1313 said:Oh! I should say that the current time is the daily opening of the system to public users. Where they can actually connect and dive into it rather than connect only over a devise.

Name: Tars Unit HK-UZ73, customize-able naming options available to users
Age: Appearance of age changes with needs of the user its assigned to, program created 3.154e+11 cycles ago (10 years). When unassigned it defaults to the age of 23.
Gender: Switches to match the users needs
What you are: A companion program and personal assistant
Personality:
Background: The Tars multi-suite program was created by Dr Henry Boldman and his research team at Hitachi Domadchi Labs. The Tars programs were originally created to fill in a need within the growing virtual market for personal assistants to help busy people keep tracking of the ever growing mountain of tasks and data available to them. Tars Units first appeared in virtual co-working spaces that were the modern days offices. Instead of paying for real estate and all the headache that came with it, more businesses moved their offices to the virtual world. Allowing easy customization of the space and security and allowed business to gather talent from all over the world by allowing remote work with the feel of an office environment. As the virtual world collided more and more with the real world Hatachi Domadchi Labs saw another need that the Tars programs could fill, companion programs. People who spent all their time in the virtual world had started feeling disconnected and lonely so was born the current generation of Tars programs. Since their Tars programs were already programmed to anticipate and fill the needs of their users in terms of business it was a simple matter to expand that into the user's personal life as well. Now Tars units come in three options: PA, Companion, or All inclusive. Tars Unit HK-UZ73 was created as an all inclusive program. Currently Hatachi Domadchi Labs only allows Tars programs out on leases as opposed to being bought outright.
Tars Unit HK-UZ73 is currently not leased out and is being used at a virtual co-working space as an accessible PA to logged in users as needed while awaiting a new lease.

Name: Nocturnus Drikalo
Age: Unknown (Estimated 22-28)
Gender: Male
Height: 7'8"
Weight: 578 lbs
What you are: Cyborg
Appearance(Description or picture is fine):
A heavily built Cyborg who is nearly a full fledged robot. The only thing human that remains in his body is parts of his brain that make up his personality and thoughts. He cannot show emotion via his face, but in his weapons/actions (That he attempts to restrain often). The metal that makes up his body if extremely heavy, slowing down physical functions but applying more defenses against attacks. Scattered over his body are bright blue bio-lights that pulse depending on how he feels. He always has his large gun in hand, feeling rather vulnerable without it.
Strengths: Defenses and typical robotic strength
Weaknesses: Social skills and agility
Personality: Often serious in most situations, but is never afraid to crack a dry joke here and there. Though he isn't appreciated for his humor, he is, however, respected for his loyalty and strengths. Under all his stoic expressions he is a very sweet man who will do anything to help those who are in need of it. But being the 'shoot first, questions later' type of guy, he is normally seen as a war machine. Being that his kinder side may get the better of him, you can expect him to stand and listen to your endless banter for no particular reason, even if he isn't listening. Plus, if he doesn't particularly like you, it doesn't mean he'll be rude to you. They say he was a recent officer, being that his often silent seriousness means that he is focusing on his surroundings.
Background: Having been the way he is for nearly a sixth year, Nocturnus is used to relaying his past. He was a soldier, a marine back when he was a full human, but had sadly suffered massive, even critical damage several times to his body by unknown means (Or so he says). After the death of his sister, who he loved dearly, terrible things had happened to him. So terrible, in fact, that the army had paid for his reconstruction as a robotic super soldier. But after being converted, he decided to turn onto his own path after standing many feet taller than the rest of his fellow humans.
Other: He had a sister named Venus, who allegedly died in a car accident.
