Max and Mia started a new drawing to start, Mike was fading in the color. The picture was still not clear but he seemed to be in his own little world as he drew a little faster and more exact, but not as straight, his lines curved and waved.

Hailey watched him a little longer, smiling, and then she moved back to her dragon. She decided to take her time and make it better. She could spend a good long while on it and just work with it until the others were done. She smiled a little. This was more relaxing than things had been before.

Mike sighed as he moved to get some paint, seating to where the drawing was now upside down to him as he added some watered down paint, started to get a smaller paper. He used it to spread the watered down paint around, before dabbing the paint down with the paper and moving to get some oil colors.

Hailey moved to the other side of her dragon. She had her black and greens in both markers and colored pencils. She loved painting, as she saw Mike was doing, but for this she opted on the markers and pencils. She moved slowly to make sure the dragon was obviously black but with the green shimmering look. It would take time, but it seemed she had plenty of that.

Mike moved the oil colors around switching from color to color sometimes going back to the color he had just put down, but Max and Mia stopped drawing just to watch Hailey and Mike as they seemed to have their own way of things.

The more focused Hailey became the more lost in her own work she became. She would add the wings last, but while she filled in the dragon she tried to decide how she wanted to do them. And she was trying to decide if she wanted to add more or not. She bit her lower lip a little as she continued to work on her dragon.

Mike's picture started to make more sense, then purple blue moon was clear, the forest was like you could get lost in, but the town he had was the best part. It was small compared to the rest of the scenery but it was almost as realistic as everything else. He was starting on the people, focusing on making sure the details were near perfect.

Hailey noticed Mia and Max watching Mike, and paused a moment to look too. She smiled as she saw his picture. He looked up from the picture to him for a moment and smiled again before going to her dragon. Pleased as it began to take on a much more realistic look.

Mike sighed as he finished before he looked up and noticed Max and Mia watching them. He looked at what Hayley was working on and smiled, that was an idea. Mike waited though as he looked at what Max draw, it looked like a knight and a much weaker drawing of a dragon, compared to Hailey. Mia's drawings were a little harder to distinguish but mike smiled at them.

Hailey faltered a moment as she finished her dragon quicker than she wanted. But everyone else was done. She bit her lower lip and then sat up and smiled. "Alrighty, let's see how everything looks." She says. She looked to Mia and Max's drawings and smiled. "I think you're going to have competition soon enough Mike. You've got some artificial siblings." She says with another smile, looking up to Mike briefly from the drawings.

Mike chuckled at her content, Max hated art, but Mia grinned with pride. She liked everything their father liked, which included art. "Maybe if they got serious." He used, patting Mia's head as she went back to draw more.

Hailey grinned. She moved back next to Mike to look at what he painted. "This is lovely." She says quietly, lightly tracing the outlines, not quite touching it so she didn't ruin the wet paint. She was having another idea, but as much as she adored Mia and Max, it was a drawing game she just wanted to do with Mike. Not that they would ever have time. She smiled a little and looked over to Mike, sitting back some.

Mike smirked, "Careful, not done yet."

Mia smirked, "Can you make the castle?" She asked Hailey.

She looked to him and grinned a little. "Don't worry I didn't touch it." She assures him gently. She looked to Mia and smiled a little.

"How about I help. But it's still your castle." She says with a gentle smile.

Mia smiled,"Ok." Mike chuckled, before he heard the door.

Mike sighed, "I'll be right back." he told them as he got up and motioned Max to stay, when Max saw about to follow. Usually he didn't mind Max following him but there were times Mike didn't think it is good for him to do it.

Max sighed, looking at Mia and Hailey, he didn't want to be here, "So, what do I do?" he asked.

When Mike got upstairs he went to check the door,as Michelle brought in the last of the bags and kicked the door closed, she smiled at Mike, "Hey." then she frowned, "How is she?"

Mike shrugged, "She stop crying a little while ago but I don't think she has eaten, Preston is up stairs with her."

Michelle put the bags down by the door and sighed, "I'm sorry about this, Mike, I know we shouldn't rely on you to deal with things like this."

Mike shrugged again, "You do pay me, she's my sister, it's kind of my thing." he listed.

Michelle smiled "I know, but your mother had you babysitting so much" she said going into her purse to take out some money, she handed it to Mike, "Here, I'll take over from here. Your father will give you the rest when he gets home." She looked back, when Mike took the money and put it in his pocket, motioning outside, "I noticed another car outside."

"Yeah, my friend had a rough day so she's been hanging out here, to relax a little." he smirked.

Michelle grinned, "Really. Then why don't you take her to see a movie or something. I don't think babysitting is a good thing to do to relax."

Mike smirked, "I'll ask her, but she seems to be ok." he stated, "I'll get Max and Mia, we are drawing downstairs."

Michelle smiled, "Ok." she sighed looking around, "I'll get everything put away then." He smiled at her, knowing she wouldn't let him help, she was pretty independent, with the small things, as much as she could be.

Hailey watched Mike go a moment, worried, but then was quickly reminded to be paying attention to what was going on right here. She looked to Max. "Would you like to help us? Or maybe you could give us suggestions?" She says. She figured around Mia's castle she could draw an outline and then let Mia color it in.

Max shrugged, "I'll just make suggestions." he stated, looking to where Mike left, he rather be with his brother, he didn't like art. He sighed as he looked back a the drawing as Mia waited excited as she watched Hailey start it.

Hailey dream a large outline of a castle, with Windows and partial brick outlines and doors and anything else she could think of. "Okay, why don't you color it in." She says to Mia when she finally finished. She looked to Max briefly to where Mike had gone and then back to Max. She supposed he was worried too. Or just curious, but Mike had said he didn't like art. "What do you want me to draw next?" She asks him gently.

Max looked at her, shaking his head, before he turned at the sounds of steps down the stairs and smiled at Mike,"Hey, mom said time to go upstairs." Mike told them.

Mia pouted, "But my castle?"

Mike smirked, "Tomorrow, Mia. You mom wants you upstairs now."

Mia sighed as she got up to go upstairs, Max got up to and looked at Mike for a moment, "Are you coming?' he asked.

Mike shook his head, "No, I'm off duty." he smirked, patting Max's head, as Max moved passed him disappointed before leaving. Mike looked at Hailey, "So, I was told to ask if you wanted to go to a movie?"

Hailey smirked a little. "That's a great way to bring up the suggestion. That you were told to do it." She teases, starting to pick up the pencils and paints and markers. "A movie sounds wonderful, however, I would rather you like the idea of it too." She says with another grin as she reached across for the markers she had used.

Mike smirked, as he moved to seat in front of her and take up a pencil, "I'm not too big on movies, there is always a detail they miss." he shrugged as he started to draw a little dragon over the castle, "Besides, I like drawing with you. But I see your point," he smirked up at her, "I should probably try to keep the 'I was told' statement out from now on."

Hailey glanced to him and smiled. "Probably a good idea." She says. "But then again it did just save you from having to suffer through a movie." She adds with a shrug. "If you'd rather draw I have an idea." She says, she sat up straight and moved so she was directly in front of him, their knees touching. "It's a game, and it works better if you have judges, but we don't so that's okay. Anyways, we're given a topic or an item and then were given ten minutes to draw it. After we compare, and it's supposed to get harder each round or require more detail. Normally then someone would judge after wards, but we could just compare instead. I have an idea for the 'hardest' one and we could both make up the rounds for the other two." She suggests, wondering if he would like it or not.

Mike looked at her a little surprised at ow close she was and trying not to blush. He liked her close, he figured that, but he didn't think he would like her so close, so much. He nodded to her idea, "Okay, but how do we draw with so little space between us?" he asked, half teasing.

Hailey smirked. "Well that could be half the fun. It's harder to draw well when you have to do things different than you're used to." She says, though she scooted back a little, wondering if that was what he was really trying to say. "First, we have to decide if we just want to choose a spot on the floor, or have makeshift notepads to use. Your choice. And do you want to help me decide the other two rounds of do you want me to just make them up?" She asks. She kind of missed being closer to him, but she didn't want to bother him by getting in his space.

Mike shrugged, "You should pick,it's your game. " he told her, letting out a deep breath, he didn't know why but his heart was starting to beat faster. He wasn't sure how they were going to get through this game. He liked her when she was closer and he had no idea why.
