So I'm not sure what/where/how to post, because I didn't get updates for anything post us hearing the beast growl, and now there's a whole scene of things that happened, and I've no idea how to put Konoha into it.
You can do what I did, and just have Konoha go into some sort of trance while the scene unfolds?
Can you just backtrack? She's welcome to help Marnie and Bella with Aleida. (or she could totally go punch Kepheus for being a butthead)

EDIT: Kepheus is taking in all the hate so it doesn't spread to anyone else in the entourage. Good Guy Kepheus :^)

Hello... I'm interested in joining, if possible...? I have a lot of experience with roleplaying, just not on this website. I'm available some weeknights, all throughout the weekend, occasionally weekday mornings, and sporadically on weekdays if I don't have school.

Hi @Linkoc!

Unfortunately, Penance Behind the Veil is a closed roleplay and is not currently accepting new characters/members. If you're looking for open roleplays to join, check out the site interest check!

Also, welcome to RpN! Message me if you have any questions at all. :)

There you go, @Veirrianna Valentine. Now that Pratchet is open to the entourage, you and anyone else that needs to catch up has the perfect opportunity to.

Pratchet is a big checkpoint in the RP, so a reminder that this is the time to explore and develop relations with surviving characters is applicable. There will be scattered Mockery throughout the city but hardly an issue compared to the Kinslayer or organized ambush that they had encountered in the previous day.

If anyone wants to collaborate with others to investigate a specific part of town, feel free to send me a PM with the area in mind and I can run you through what you might find/encounter. Just keep in mind that there will be a lot more freedom for sandbox exploration.

Make sure to come back by nightfall for supper!

I'll write it up within the next few hours I'm sure, but I think I'm just going to say that Konoha's body was still recovering from fatigue and muscle straining during the kinslayer ordeal so she mostly just tried not to wind up dead whilst running away.

( Tagging to make sure you guys read this whole post :^) )

I was wondering if you people ( Auxilery, servants, and one squire ) would like to venture out into Pratchet together. Realistically this could make sense, as there are already seven or so NPCs who will just be sitting around where the Prince is, so it's not like everyone is leaving him unguarded etc. I've been wanting to try to do something like this for awhile, and a few pages back I suggested an auxiliary campfire once a week or so, where the auxiliary could just do whatever without having nobility staring over their shoulders. In-character this would probably just involve me going to Alexander and getting permission to gather up a group of people to scavenge.

If you guys are already planning collabs or things of that nature, I'm fine just putting off the whole idea for now. Kepheus will have to find somewhere else to spread his bitterness :(

@korigon you can grab a few NPCs too as Ceril is likely going to muster a group to scout and raid the warehouse in the morning. Only a handful of troops (3-4) need to stay behind and play security detail.

Alright. So would you rather have me try to organize this in the morning? I was under the impression that it was afternoon when they reached pratchet.

I'd be down for a group collab like that. Ein and I were going to do a collab kinda thingy first (because master-squire feels ahead), so I'd figure all that out with him first.

@korigon

You are correct, it is currently the afternoon in the RP while the entourage is setting up camp. Preliminary scouting this afternoon/evening will be primarily for security and light scavenging for barricading the guard house. Supplies will come in the following day. How they go about it will be up to everyone's discretion whether they want to stick with Ceril's main group or want to splinter off to search for something in particular.

An update:

The entourage's afternoon/evening plans will remain the same.

For the next day, everyone can form their own groups to scout and map the city.

The day after, Ceril will lead the whole entourage (sans 3-4 NPC) guards to a larger district for a group event and plot post.

You know Gwendalin will want to join all of the fun. I'm definitely up for a large group collaboration.
Even better -- cooking episode. All you nobles have people make your food. Now its your turn.
Except the great part about this cooking show is that they have no food!

Whoa whoa whoa, Edina knows how to cook. Speaking of which Marnie is one of the nobles, you turncoat you.

This is when Alexander retires and opens up Pratchet's first brothel.
You can attract the customers. Let me handle the business.

Also @Smart people AKA not those dumb nobles, I'll try to get a conversation thing out sometime today. I call dibs on discovery the distillery :D
Because we NEED a drunk Kepheus in the middle of enemy territory.
How could this possibly end badly?
I never realized you were this intelligent, Marnie! You're right! How could it end badly when Kepheus has his booze?
