Fantasy Game Over (Open & Accepting!)

Damn, I've been inactive since for ever due to Freshers Week. Got pretty crazy, but I am back and on track and still interested in this RP if you were to reboot it or w/e!

I am thinking to reboot it in the future, But we can still continue it here. I just have to contact everyone (Again) to see if they still want to be apart of it...I became inactive too when I last contacted people.

I'd be up for a reboot. And maybe this time instead of letting people just go do whatever in the game, things that were told start happening. (Random events that should be there, enemies AIs actually being smart enough to take cover, something affecting the players, etcetera.)

I suggested this above because without something to motivate the players into actually posting, the thread is sure to die again.

I had plenty of motivation to keep going tbh - we were just starting a proper quest and everything as well.

But having a GM that sort of dictates how stuff goes along would be kind of cool, but also somewhat slow (as everyone would post in a certain cycle and couldn't post again until the GM did).

Ah, a soft posting order?

Yeah, more or less. To give the GM time to respond to everyone's interaction with the world. But with loads of people, it will be really heavy on the GM.

Yeah I can see how a GM would be slow at times with doing a posting order and things became inactive on their part. But what I was thinking would happen with my explanations of the rules were that only the GM had control of the amount of enemies, event's in the quest, and control of the mission requester & boss character. everything else like how enemies react or interaction with other NPCs was up to individuals. But I still see your point though.

I think it should be kept more or less the same. Maybe different areas could have different tabs and/or different groups (once they split) could have different tabs so to make it all a bit cleaner - but that is about it. I think the RP itself is really good.

I like to thank you for your complement. So thanks...but the idea of the 75% of the game didn't come from me. It was a reboot of a reboot that was a reboot as well... if that makes sense. Basically the RP exchanged hands about two to three times. All I did was added in the scientist in charge, the enemies, and game play mechanics to have it seem more like a game than an average fantasy RP.

Anyhow, what do you mean by "different tabs so to make it all a bit cleaner"?

E.g you'd have one 'Grassland' tab, one 'Market' tab, one 'Town' tab, so on and so on for different locations - or you'd split it into groups, so for example, me, Anthenian and you split into a group - and there were others that did the same - so whilst that group is out on that quest, a tab is made aside for them. Err, now that I write it out it seems a bit messy to be honest, haha - so nevermind!

lol it does seem a bit messy. But it did have a good point. I was thinking when new areas/regions opened up they get a new tab Like Chordata (Region) and Galla had their own tabs when they opened up...but thinking about how bit I was hoping to get the RP world...having a tab for regions that small would just be asking for too many over time (Idk if there's a limit to tabs)

But in the spoiler below, there is the idea of the map I was going to use for the world. What the boarder is the current available areas in the RP. But with this you should be able to see the side of how big I wanted to make this RP.

Yeah, so awesome, basically haha.

Whenever you have time, please reboot - it would be freakin' great!
