Fandom One Piece the New Era

Fahy does a flip and catches one while the other flies past and then he throws it at Taka's knee.
 
Dru held his breath and flipped away from the gas making sure it was safe before breathing.
 
Chase repeatedly blocked, the fighting style of Taka was on another level compared to someone like Chase but what chase lacked in skill and experience he made up for in raw power. Dru was doing a good job distracting Taka while Chase regained himself, he moved back from the attacks and used the reach he gained to attack, he used the same technique as he did with the other marines daggering the staff into his stomach with enough force to push him back even if he blocked.

Taka coughs as the staff tosses him,to the floor. He gets back up, pulling,out another sword. Suddenly, one of Taka's arms spaz out due to his illness, and he uses this unpredictability to attack Chase. His spazzing arm sword wildly slashes and stabs at Chase. @Offspring
 
Garret uses the chaos caused by Chase and Dru to circle around Taka. He then charged at Taka and attempted to hit him with the palm of his mechanical hand, hoping to grab the back of Taka's head to pin him down and use his impact dial again.

Chase attack was effective, this gave him a little joy but it wasn't good enough as Taka stood up and attack even more aggressive and even with a hint of grace, Chase attempted to block but he couldn't keep up. The distance between the two was in Taka's favor and Chase couldn't repeat the same attack with Taka on the offense but once again Garret proved reliable in Chases need. Chase stood his ground keeping Taka busy.

Taka tryed to turn around, but Garret was too quick for him, and the mechanical hand successfully pinned him down. Taka struggles as his illnesses are kicking in, making him cough up blood, and his legs are now shut down. @Offspring @Thesmashbro
 
Dru jumped and flipped up to the plate landing with a flourish as he looked off his arm just below the elbow.
 
Chase steps back away from the action and watches Garret take him down though Chase was happy that the attack landed but he noticed something odd blood leaking from his mouth Garret had taken him down but the attack wasn't the type to make a man cough up blood. Chase looked at the man in curiosity and was going to make a comment but before he could say it a Garret created an explosion right on top of the mans body, if it wasn't for his parents death he could have probably been disgusted or angered but he knew that life was like this sometimes. His face was saddened "Well I guess this is done and over with, what should we do now?" he asked.

Taka's eyes widen as the impact dial shreds his insides, his flesh being cut up and annihilated by the sheer force of the blast. Taka weakly laughs and he opens his mouth. "Foolish...P-people... Do you know wh-what thi-this means?... You are...now an enemy... Of the marines..." Taka coughs up more blood, his eyes on the brink of closing forever. @Offspring @Thesmashbro


Cornelius walks in as he watches, and he waits for them to finish, smiling as he does so.
 
"Cool I'll have a bounty now. this should be interesting for the rest of the adventure." Dru seemed pretty happy.
 
After hearing Taka's "last words," Garret sat down legs crossed in front of Taka's face. He put his right, non-armored arm next to Taka's face and flicked him in the forehead, using nowhere near his full strength to do so. "If anything, you're the foolish one!" he said, "You tried killing me back there! Do you know what that means?" He then stood up. "The Marines are now an enemy of me!" With that, he walked away from Taka's body before seeing Cornelius walk in. "...Who's that?" he asked Chase.

Chase sighed in relief "I guess your right we are enemies of the marines now, never thought I would say that" he looked at the door to were a man was standing "You must be another recruit since you don't look like a marine right?" Chase knew that he could just be a random person but knowing his crew if he wasn't apart of the crew he will be.

Cornelius waves his hand. "Hello, I am Cornelius. I am hoping to join this crew, seems like a lively bunch. By the way, I took the liberty of giving all the social media back to the people, and they already sent a report to the marines. The newspaper was already printed too. Check it out." Cornelius hands Garret and Chase a newspaper with the headline reading, "Island saved by Corrupt Marines! Marines furious!" Cornelius continues to smile.


All the Marines scramble away from Morgol. He was furious. He couldn't believe that these corrupt marines flew over the heads of the Marines for so long. He storms into the Bounty room where bounties are assigned, and he looks at a new stack of bounties. The marine stammers. "Those are the new bounties for that crew that defeated the marines at the island." Morgol starts to flip through the stack. "New Light" Captain Chase:35,000,000


"Loudmouth" Garret:25,000,000


"Monkey Kid" Dru:15,000,000


Cornelius: 15,000,000


Pbtenchi:20,000,000


As Morgol gets to the last one, he freezes. The marine looks at him, concerned. "Admiral Morgol, you okay?" Morgol just walks out of the room, and one single bounty floats to the floor. The marine picks it up and looks at it. Ken: 29,000,000

Chase made a face of disbelief looking at the trouble they caused "Wait this can't be right I thought this was no big deal shouldn't this be a 3,000,000 berri bounty?" he cried out. He grunted "Well I should go pick up our ship" he left a bit pissed as his dreams of staying mildly under the radar was gone, he headed out to go see if the ship was done.

Cornelius smiles as he walks with Chase, strumming his guitar as he does so. His small treasure chest on his belt continues to dangle as he walks, happy as can be. The villagers once in a while would come up to both of them and shake their hands, or say thank you, or try to offer them money for what they did. Cornelius smiles as he politely refuses the money. @Offspring @Thesmashbro
 
Chase was gloomy but he couldn't help but smile as people showed there gratitude, he shook there hands and refused there money but asked for a free meal to go from the restaurant "I guess the bounty is worth it" he said to Cornelius "By the way I'm Chase not the greatest captain but I think I am improving slowly" he notices a fancy ship sailing by and shortly after an anchor drops and it comes to a stop. Chase looks awestruck by the craft of the ship and Gazpacho walks down from the ship "I see you are impressed, pay up hero" Chase grabs the bag a berri and tosses it to him "Yes this is more than enough to rebuild my business" he picks up Chase and hugs him and heads on his way singing, Chase checks out the ship.

"Fantastic it's a bit low but I can't frown on that." Dru flipped a few times happily.
 
Cornelius smiles at the amazing ship. "Its very nice. Looks like we now have proper bounties and a proper ship. By the way, I was talking to a sower, Chance, and she made us this." Cornelius pulls out a folded black cloth, and unfolds it to reveal a large jolly roger. He hands it to Chase. "We'll need this to be called real pirates." @Offspring
 
Chase looks around the ship admiring the repairs he had made from what he could remember the ship was in the worst condition by appearance among the other ships, he knew that this had to be done by a crew each with there own skill set. The though reminded him of home, he was then brought out of thought by Cornelius he had a Jolly roger "I like it" he looked over the jolly roger "I assume everyone should be headed back to the docks so that we can leave"

Ken was laying down on a roof near the docks as he absent mindedly starred into the sky. In one of his hands he held his poster while the other played around with his knife. '29,000,000? Not bad for my first bounty, second highest of the crew...... But fuck.... I guess the next time I see Morgol...he's so going to kill me....literally.' He thought with a sigh as he closed his eyes and listened to the breeze pass by him. Even though he was saddened at the fact he could no longer see his old friend without most likely dying, he couldn't help but smirk. He got a bounty, and a decent sized on at that. 'I know what I want............. I want survive. the grand line, and the new world... I wonder if that qualifies as a dream? Survival is everyone's wish........' Yawning a bit he kept his eyes closed as he placed the bounty and knife in his pocket moving his hands to gently pet Ixie and Penance. "I still don't know.... Let's hope I find it with this crew." He mumbled actually planning to stick with them for quite some time.
 
Reggie waited inside the Marine base, but Taka never showed up. Reggie decided to leave and headed toward the dock. "Nice flag," he said once he reached the others. "I assume we won against the marines. What ever happened to that Taka guy? Did they have a base I didn't know about?"

A rogue bounty paper floats into the wind and smacks right into Reggie's face. The paper read, " Reggie: 13,000,000." @shadowdude505


Cornelius smiles as he gets onto the ship and starts to play his guitar, humming a beat as he looks at the beautiful night sky, his treasured treasure box dangling on his belt.
