Calvin nodded his head at Nicholai. "I'll help you with that," he said and he got off of the couch and walked over to Nicholai, placing a hand on his shoulder. He was sure now, he was going to move into his apartment. "We'll try it for a month, but if it doesn't work, I'm moving out."

Nicholai smiled "Thanks man" He walked back to Liams room ans began moving all his stuff to his room. He looked at Calvin an Liz "Y'all have fun, don't do it on my couch" He laughed and made sure he wasn't in hitting distance of Liz."Calvin do you have everything you need for a room, bed, everything?"

Liz rose up from the couch stretching as she looked around the room, ignoring Nicholai's comment "If you want I can help out a bit before I have to go. " She said as she walked around the living room and over to Liam who was busy playing with his toys. " And Nicholai don't make me hit you. "

Nick looked down. "My family..." Flashes of his father hanging from a rope stuck in his mind. He snapped out of his trace and talked as casually has he could. "My mother works as a lawyer, but still tries to give my little sister and I as much love as she can. I couldn't ask for anyone better." He chuckled. "And my sister, Julie, she's nine, and god she couldn't be more different than me. She knew what I was going through when I used to have my "bad" days, and would do anything she could to cheer me up. Although we do fight like brother and sister would, she knows that I would take a bullet for her if it ever happened." He said, sort of embarrassed. @lette
 
He chuckled at Liz's reaction to Nicholai's comment.


"Nah man, I'll just go buy new things, my room mate will literally kill me if I take away the other bed, even though I paid for it." He scratched the back of his neck. "I'll go while you're out with Liam." He said, remembering he'd have to walk back to school to get his car. "Hey Liz, wanna walk back to school so we can both get out cars?" He asked her.

Nicholai smiled "I will txt y'all when i'm done with everything" He gave Calvin his house key, grabbed Liam and headed out to the car. He put Liam in, got in and got out his phone txting Kara. 'on my way' He took off in her direction.

Dani smiled "I have 3 little siblings myself, I would do anything for them. And my twin brother". She realized he didn't mention a father, she decided not to push it. "You sound like your close to your family"."that is really good". Dani looked down at her feet.

"Look I appreciate what you are trying to do but I am managing. Thank you again."Kathy said before walking out of the office and walking briskly away like trying to avoid being caught by the nurse. She turned a corner and leaned on a nearby wall. She took a deep breath to get rid of her uncomfortable feeling she had before checking her phone. She saw the message from Dani and replied: Just sorting out a few things with one of the teachers.what are you up to.
 
"Yeah." Nick smiled. "I feel like people don't think much of their loved ones as much as they should. You grow up together and wish the days you've lived through before hadn't passed. Then a day could go by where it seems like any ordinary day, but in an instant, those people who you'd wake up to everyday could be gone..." His voice faded at the end of that sentence. He noticed how he was acting again and spoke again, "You said you have a twin brother? That's pretty cool!" He said smiling. "Are you two identical?" @lette
 
Dani looked at her phone. Replied 'hanging with nick <3'. She looked at Nick "yeah I understand that" She could tell that he was upset. "yeah I do have a twin brother, and um dear... he is a boy so no we are not identical" She laughed a bit. She got up and walked over to the slide, she climbed up and sat at the top. looking down at Nick "now i am taller then you" she stuck her tong out laughing.

Nicholai pulled up in front of Kara's house. He took out his phone 'hey im outside :) '

Enjoy, lovebirds. Here if you want to hang out. She replied before sighing looking around trying to think what she could do. She had work in an hour which made it pointless to go home as she would have to leave again when she got there and there seemed to be noone she knew here now,
 
Kara quickly got out of her house, she close the door behind her and closed the door. She walked down to the big black gate and typed in the security number, the gates opened. She walked through the opened gates and they closed behind her. She jogged over to Nicholai's car and smiled at him as she did so. She opened his car door and sat in the car. "So, we meet once again." She laughed and winked at him.

Nicholai smiled "so we do". "this time we have a guest" He looked to the back seat with a smile. "I figured you would like to meet him, we can go eat. Take him to my moms and have some time to ourselves" He looked over at her with a smile.

Kara looked at him confused and then looked back to where he was looking. "Oh my gosh, look at you!" She smiled at Liam. "Hey buddy, you excited to go eat?" She reached over and poked his little nose. Liam nodded his head and smiled back at her, letting out a small giggle. "I'm gonna get chicken nuggets with a lot of ketchup!" He said in an adorable high pitched voice. "He's just the sweetest thing," she looked over at Nicholai giving him a smile. @lette
 
Nicholai smiled "well he does take after his dad". "So where we going to eat?" He put the car in drive and began to take off

"Mc Donalds!" Liam shouted from the back seat."Well, the king has spoken. Let's bring him to Mc Donalds." She chuckled and looked back at Liam who had a huge smile on his face. He offered her his toy car and said it was a gift for her. She looked at Nicholai and then back at Liam, "you're too sweet." She laughed and shook her head, accepting his gift. "You should of told me you were bringing him, I would've bought him a toy."
 
Nicholai laughed "He has enough toys". They drove to McDonald's. Nicholai ordered Liams chicken nuggets and him a chicken sandwich. Liam chose the booth for them to sit in so he fallowed sitting beside Liam. "So what are we doing after this?" "Can't really go back to my place, I have a new roommate"

Liz walked outside once Nicholai and Liam headed out. "Well if we're walking we should probably hurry up..stupid teachers might have our cars towed. " She said while placing one of her headphones in her ear as she waited for Calvin so they could start walking.

Kara walked behind Nicholai and sat down in the booth in front of the two boys. She ordered herself a chicken wrap and asked, "new room mate? Who did you get? And well, we can go to my place, my parents shouldn't be home and I'm an only child so we don't have to worry about big mean brothers." She laughed.


 
Calvin walked up behind Liz, "hey, I've been thinking about what you said before in the car and I just have to ask you. Why do you feel uncomfortable around men? I understand if you don't want to tell me." He said, walking a little faster so he could catch up to her.

Nicholai ate some of his fries and helped Liam open his ketchup. He looked up at Kara "Well,..... Calvin" "He is moving in tonight" "Your house sounds great, I didn't know you were an only child"


He continued eating his fries as Liam dipped his nuggets and ate them.
 
Liz paused briefly at his question but continued to walk casually. "It's a boring story, you really wouldn't wanna hear it." She said quietly as the memories flashed through her head.

"OH!" Nick facepalmed himself, his cheeks turning a deep red. He was getting more nervous from every stupid thing that came out of his mouth. When Dani, climbed up the slide though, his nerves seemed to calm down. He chuckled, "Oh yeah?" He got up and started climbing up the ladder of the slide. He got up to the very top step of the ladder right behind Dani and stood up on it, balancing himself. "How about now??" He said playfully, smirking at her. @lette
 
Dani laughed and slid down slide reaching the bottom she stood up "Now you are really taller them me" She poked her lip out and crossed her arms playfully. trying to hide a smile.

Nick's signature laugh came out again as he slid down the slide. He stood in front of her and put his hands lightly on her arms. "Don't be mad, friend!" He begged jokingly. He got down on both of his knees, looking up at her. "Now you're taller!" he said, laughing again. @lette
 
"Calvin, hm? I gotta say, he's very messy so watch out for that. However, that means I can like never come to your house because I don't want to anger him." She laughed nervously. "Well, I don't really like to talk about my family, I guess you could say I'm not really close to them. I don't see my parents much, only when they come back from work late at night. I only see Tony, he's a fatherly figure to me." She said, taking a bite of her chicken wrap. She felt nervous to show him her house, she was worried that Tony would be all over him,

"Of course I want to hear it, or else I would've never asked you." He chuckled and shook his head.

Dani laughed and pretended like he was proposing to her "Oh my you shouldn't have" She put her hand over her heart and laughed "Your right I am taller now" She jokingly pushed him down and made a run for it.

Nicholai nodded as he listened to her "Hmm, that must be weird". He looked down "I grew up with kids coming and going all my life, seems like there were at least 10 kids at a time, then of course even on a slow week it was me and my siblings" He faded off remembering when he was younger with his real parents. He never really told anyone about his adopted family and no one ever about his real family. He watched Liam who was now done eating and playing with his toy. He took a big bite of his sandwich.
