Fantasy The Journey to the Sword: New Age

"Apparently." Audri said. She sighed and leaned back onto the bed, closing her eyes.

Audri noticed Soul laying next to her. She smirked. "I'm going to go change into something a little more comfortable than armor." Audri said before standing up and entering the bathroom.

Soul changes into a pair of shorts and doesn't put on a shirt. He lays back on the bed and relaxes.

Audri came out of the bathroom stretching. She had changed into a pail pink gown with 3/4 sleeves. "Oh my gosh it feels so good to get out of a corset." Audri said. She looked at Soul. "Someone doesn't like wearing shirts?" Audri said jokingly.

Audri shrugged. She sat on the edge of the bed and started to brush her hair.

Soul grabs his notebook and starts flipping through the pages. He starts reading and his hand glows purple. This time he is actually wanting it too.

Audri paused brushing her hair and looked at Soul's hands. "What's that?" She asked curiously.

Audri nodded slowly. "I assume that's what the notebooks for?" She asked.

Audri nodded and went back to brushing her hair. Nui flew down from the rafters where he had been resting and landed on a page in Soul's book. He cocked his head to the side and stared at Soul.

Nui started squeaking rapidly. Audri sighed. "He's bragging about how much magic I can do. Which isn't very much." She explained.

"I bet its super powerful." Says Soul as he sets down his notebook. He puts his hand out and his hand glows purple. A purple flame appears in his hand and his eyes start glowing purple as well. The flame disappears and his hand and eyes go back to normal.

Audri jumped off of the bed when Soul's hand started glowing purple. "F-fire!" She stuttered, backing away. Her eyes were wide with fear as she stared at the purple flame. When it disappeared Audri sighed in relief.

Audri sat back down on the bed, tucking her legs underneath herself. "Soul I don't think you're being truthful. Do you need anything?" She asked worriedly.

"Alright as long as you're sure." Audri said, leaning against the back on the bed. Nui flew over to her and sat on her lap. Audri smiled at the little bat and started petting his head.
