The day Asher received the letter was more or less just like any other day. He was working in receiving at the Lowe's down the street, and after a particularly exhausting but short morning shift, he arrived home to check the mail and get started on his newest game obsession, Destiny. He flipped through the envelopes quickly, tossing the ones addressed to his parents onto the coffee table on his way in. Only two were addressed to him. One was a bill collector that he dropped into the trash can without opening, and the other just had his name and address in fancy script handwriting and no return address. He tore it open with his teeth so that his free hand could turn his PS4 on. When his game was searching for teammates, he turned his attention towards the letter, which was in the same strange handwriting.

My dearest Asher,

That really is quite a beautiful name. I hope the people who gave it to you are just as lovely. My name is Snow, and this may come as a shock to you. Matter of fact, you probably will not believe this. I'm not very familiar with the world you live in, but I do know the nature of humans, and their desire to see what they believe. Beautiful boy, I am your mother. And I am what your new family would call a fairytale. But we are all very much real, and in dire need of your help. As the oldest, and the son of Charming and I, you have been both blessed and cursed with the burden of being the savior. Our world is in chaos, and it has been for many of your human years. It pains me to say that I had no choice but to send you to safety, as did the rest of the parents from our world. In your world, there are eight children from our world living in yours, and I'm afraid I must ask far too much of you in requesting that you find them all, tell them of their pasts, and convince them to help us fight and reclaim our world that black magic has taken away from us. I've included a photograph of myself and your father in hopes that you'll believe this letter and come to the rescue of so many lives. We have eyes on the inside, and I will know once you've gathered all of your peers. If and when this occurs, I will be sending another letter for further instruction.

Forever in my heart,

Snow White

Asher re-read the letter three more times and then searched for a return address once again but there was nothing. Attached to the back of the letter was a picture of two too-beautiful-to-actually-exist people and a child that he assumed was supposed to be him. Further investigation revealed a list of names and cities on the other side of the photo. Eight in total. Refusing to believe the nonsense, he tossed the papers to the other side of his bed and continued on with his game.

That night, Asher had dreams of fire and screaming. Chaos was erupting all around, and castles were burning to the ground. He caught a glimpse of the beautiful people from the photo, but only a few seconds worth, because they were handing him over to an old man. A jolt of electricity as his 'parents' disappeared from view felt like it was ripping Asher out of his body, and then he woke up. Unable to sleep for the rest of the night, he did his research and facebooked the names from the back of the photo. All of the names existed, and they were in the cities that the letter claimed they were in.

After a couple days of ignoring it and trying to decide what to do, Asher told his adoptive parents of his predicament, and they insisted that if it would make him feel better, they would provide the money for him to travel out and collect everyone on the list, just to disprove what they assumed was a joke. The next day, he was on his way out of state to find everyone.

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

*Skipping time to after he's rounded everyone up and they've all realized that they're adopted/foster kids and they've never really fit into normal society so this could possibly be true. Asher's parents have rented them a hotel room to figure everything out in.*

Asher sat in one of the available arm chairs in the hotel room. The group had just arrived, and he was overwhelmed with feeling like he had to control everything just because he'd received the letter. There wasn't much to do now other than wait and see if they got another letter like the first one had promised. Until then, this whole thing was still a little hard to believe. "Are we all insane for being here?" He asked nonchalantly, arms folded on top of the room's desk and chin rested on top of his arms. It was a group of rather good-looking people, the female's especially, so it could easily be believed that they all had something in common, but fairytale parents? He doubted. "What do we do while we wait on the letter?" He asked with a shrug, not really excited to hear their answer to the previous question.

Annabelle sat in the back of the room, close to the corner and wrapped a strand of hair around her finger. She had listened carefully, although her expression did not reflect that whatsoever. "Insane's a harsh word..." she finally remarked into the collective silence, her voice quiet. "I don't like it, really." she continued, as if they were discussing showercurtains. Eventually, she raised her head, looking up from the little strand of now curly hair she had created in her lap. "I have an idea what we could do."

The blue-haired girl showed a sweet smile and pulled out a cam-recorder.
"We should have this on film. That way we can always remember this. It's not everyday you end up in a room full of strangers in a foreign city. My sister's going to be so proud. Maybe I'll put it on Youtube and..." Now, her voice trailed off. Not that it mattered, her whole dialogue seemed random and in dire need of some context.

Mina reclined on the hotel room's sofa with her legs hanging over the side of the armrest, staring up at the ceiling. Though she originally thought the letter was composed as a joke, the brunette could not help but bubble at the possibility of an adventure. Given her inquisitive nature, this stimulation was equivalent to waving candy in front of a child. When Asher showed up UC San Diego, she thought one of the kids at her former group home was trying to embarrass her in front of the swimming team by sending an attractive young man to fill her head with lies. She simply rolled her eyes and continued practicing, only to be interrupted multiple times, as Asher insisted his words were true. The swimmer ignored him and carried on, feeling a bit of anger and curiosity rising up inside her until the session ended. After showering, Mina left the locker room with intentions to confront this strange man from Montana with a few choice words. What she did not expect was to be convinced that the letter could be real, suggesting she had originated from a land only spoken about in children's books.

Walking back to her dormitory after the encounter, Mina could not help but feel the otherworldly explanation made se
nse. For much of her existence, the brunette felt unwanted by the adults she met. This feeling affected her emotionally and academically for multiple years, until she found solace in swimming; however, a question she frequently asked herself is how she became excellent at the competitive sport so rapidly. Many people she practiced with had trained since they in kindergarten, while the young woman only started in middle school. Flying through the water came naturally to Mina, making it hard to believe it was not in her genes. The more she thought about Asher's remarks and fairytales, the chaotic lands of another world seemed less like a narrative and more of a reality.

At Asher's question of their insanity, Mina was drawn from her thoughts. She chuckled loudly and shook her head, continuing to look up at the ceiling. "If we're insane, that makes you the worst of the lot, Asher." She stated bluntly with a small shrug, turning her head briefly to look at the others gathered in the room. She listened to Annabelle's suggestion, raising a brow at the possibility of filming this little expedition. "I suppose that's a good idea. I doubt anyone will believe us without proof." She reasoned with a slight smirk. "If we have to be cooped up in here, we should at least make it fun, right?" The young woman continued, swinging her legs off the armrest and sitting up on the couch properly. "I trust that we could also partake in a little room service. Does anyone know if they serve alcohol?" She inquired, her pale eyes glimmering with a hint of mischief.

Lucas sat with his back leaning against the soft hotel couch as his piercing hazel eyes observed the others in the room. His gaze naturally focused on the attractive females in the group, especially admiring the slim figure of the brunette with the bright blue eyes. He couldn't help but smile and chuckle as she asked if the hotel serves alcohol, practically taking the words out of his mouth.
"Yeah why don't we party a little before going on this adventure, huh? I'm getting thirsty," he suggested, his eyes lighting up with excitement as he looked around the room. Partying and drinking were two of his favorite past times. Add in a few hot females and he would be on cloud nine.

As his gaze scanned the group, eventually focusing on Asher, he reflected back to the day the tall guy had appeared at his apartment door. Lucas was
this close to kicking the guy out, as he had been in the middle of his daily routine of playing his guitar. He remembered that he had asked Asher multiple times if he was drunk, high, or both, eventually deciding that the guy was sober as he had been acting in all seriousness. Lucas had told him to come back the next day so that he could sleep on it and give it a night to think about. That night, his dreams were filled with chaos and fire, destruction savaging across an unfamiliar land. He recalled seeing a large brown beast protecting a scared brunette woman wearing an elegant yellow dress. He couldn't help but feel some sort of attachment to the pair, even though he had never seen them in his life. When Asher had showed up at his door again that next day, Lucas decided to dive in head first into the situation and figure out what this was all about. Plus, he had never been one to turn down adventure, as his spontaneous nature was always seeking something new.

His attention snapped back to the present and he looked over at the pale girl with the blue hair.
"I don't know if putting this on Youtube would be a good idea," he started to say a little hesitantly. "I mean we're investigating our so-called 'fairtytale' parents and this other world or whatever, so I don't think it's something we would want to take to the public," he told her thoughtfully, his green eyes meeting her gray ones. "Although I do think video taping it would be a good idea for us to look back on later," he added, giving her a small smile.

Elizabeth sat quietly with her back against the wall and her phone in her hand. She didn't really feel like talking concidering she didn't know them. She still felt that this was all complete nonsense, but there was a small bit of her that believed it was true. She let a small sigh escape her pink lips as she tapped her phone screen. She chuckled quietly at the brunette's mention of alcohol. She wasn''t too fond of drinking because, one, she was under age, and two, she was so fucking weird when she was drunk. She bit her lip assuming that it wouldn't be too bad to have a small party before getting down to buisiness.

"A party doesn't sound completely horrible I guess." She said with a small laugh.

Her eyes adverted to the pale girl with blue hair that sat on the couch.

"
Yeah I agree with blondey over here on this one," She said pointing at the guy whose back was against the couch, "We really shouldn't make the whole thing public, it could put this "fairytale" world in more danger than it is already." She gave a shrug of her shoulders before going silent once more.

Liz adjusted the grey beanie that was on her black, slightly wavy hair. She felt awkward for the time being and couldn't help, but to fidgit with any accesories that may be on her. She hoped that this wasn't all a completely horrible idea.

The girl with the pale blue hair tilted her head a little bit, a soft, barely audible sigh escaped her lips, as she fidgeted around with the edge of her woolen sweaterdress. Her eyes darted over the people that had spoken, seemingly everyone against the idea. Annabelle pouted a little, feeling like this would have made a great video. "Mhhh... Maybe, I guess. Shame. Then again..." Her voice wavered the further she got to the end of her sentence, as she bit her lower lip, unsure if she should tell them. By the way everyone behaved, Neco assumed she was the only one who willingly accepted the invitation, which is especially odd considering she hadn't received any sort of photo that would trigger a sense of familiarity.

She smiled sweetly towards Asher, no trace of disapproval to be found, though her words obviously did just that.
"I believe we have at least a few people who aren't 21 yet." An oddly 'appropiate' and well-behaved vibe radiated off of Annabelle, one that wasn't speaking down to anyone, nor was she particularly scared, at least it didn't seem like it. She simply seemed to hold such regulations in high regards.

Asher Ascord

Asher immediately nodded at the mention of alcohol, barely listening to everyone else's input as he flipped the television guide over and searched for the number that would connect him with room service.
"I'm the son of Snow White, darling. Laws are nothing to royalty. Everyone drinks tonight." He answered the pretty girl with the blue hair in a fake, uppity tone and a joking eye roll while he waited for the other line to pick up, the phone held between his shoulder and ear. He dug through the drawers of the desk, then reached to the bedside tables in search of the room service menu, and held it up when he spotted a list of available alcohols. "Bingo. The camera's a brilliant idea, by the way. Keep that on. We're going to be famous as hell when this is all over. Or in an asylum. Either one gains publicity." He half-joked, sending a wink to the girls camera and clearing his throat when someone answered the phone. He ordered a good amount of different types and sent in another order to the closest pizza place afterwards, paying for both with the majority of his Lowe's paycheck, opting not to have over one hundred dollars worth of fancy room service alcohol showing up on one of his parents' credit cards while he was supposed to be out in the world sol searching or whatever they assumed he was doing by going on a journey in search of his magical fairytale parents.

Once everything was on its way, Asher returned to his seat at the desk, sitting sideways in the chair this time to face the room.
"Alright, so we know who my supposed parents are. Let's try to guess who everyone else's is. Blue eyes is definitely some sort of royalty, everything about her screams old school Princess beauty." He suggested, eyes on Mina though he was terrible with remembering names.

He then pointed towards Elizabeth.
"You're fucking adorable but the options are limited. You gotta be from the chick from The Hunchback of Notre Dame or Mowgli or..." He hesitated, digging the picture of Snow White and Prince Charming out of his pocket to look down the list of names and find hers. "Nah, definitely Aladdin with a last name like that."

He glanced around the room for more ideas, nodding towards Dani.
"I had to go all the way to England for your stubborn ass so you've gotta be Jane and Tarzan or some shit. She was British wasn't she? Or was it Australian?" He shrugged, moving on.

"You. You're the one I really can't pin down." He finished, squinting his eyes in thought as his gaze landed on the girl with blue hair.

Dani Darling

_____________________________________

Dani could not actually believe she was partaking in this ridiculous event. She'd left University and her entire life behind just to chase some fairytale and probably end up looking like a fool in the end. In the beginning she assumed it was all some sort of wildly messed up dream. Maybe she'd eaten some shrooms without noticing or something and now her mind was fucked up. Still, though, two days of a plane ride and a couple hours later and this supposed hallucination was still going strong. At this point, it was hard to convince herself that she wasn't absolutely losing her mind.

"My last name is Darling. So obviously, Peter Pan." She replied to Asher, who had already moved on anyway. She scoffed and rolled her eyes at his questioning gaze set on Neco. "Her hair's not naturally blue, dumbass. She could be anyone's daughter, just because she dyed her hair blue doesn't make her some fairytale mystery. If this is all real, and I'm playing along, then my guess is Alice from Wonderland. She was a bit...strange, in a good way, yeah?" She suggested, giving Neco a once over and then a nod. "Definitely Alice."

5jva9Vb.png

Neco just smiled warmly at Asher's remark. It was true, Annabelle didn't really resemble any fairy tale, at least none she was aware of. "I really don't know, Asher. My parents have read me quite a few fairytales, but I can't say I've had these... feelings of connection you've told us about, for any of them. The woman that had written you. Snowhite. Your... mother. Did she not mention the other parents?" she asked calmly. The way the girl spoke was astonishingly factual. It was very easy to tell that to her, this entire situation wasn't odd or stupid. She spoke with neither confidence nor doubt, rather than a genuine believe that all of this was entirely possible. With a smile she flicked her hand around, now setting the camera on Asher. "That's fun though, no? Guessing and all." she asked, and indeed, a little smile formed on her face. Neco, much different than Lucas or Nina, had immediately agreed to join the meeting. AfterAsher had contacted her, her family had called her down, telling her a boy wanted to talk to her. Annabelle hadn't even bothered to look up too much, instead keeping her eyes fixed on the book she had read that day. A gardening book, cutely illustrated. Asher's obscure story seemed to wash over Neco, not really phasing her all too much. The girl had just nodded subtly and agreed to come at the given date, and that was that.

As the girl remembered the day she was told about all of this, Dani spoke up. Annabelle immediately switched her camera, now recording the girl. Neco liked her and the way she spoke, and so she smiled politely, though it seemed a little empty.
"Alice?" The thought hadn't crossed the girl's mind yet, but who knew. She shrugged a little. "I guess that could be. I mean, she's right, you know? I just really like the shade. My normal hair is kind of silvery. Got teased a lot over it in elementary school. Other kids would call me grandma, 'cause they thought it was grey already." She spoke with a very sincere curiosity, wanting to participate in the guessing game, and surprisingly, no bitterness over past day's bullying sounded within her words. Then, she pouted a little, unproportionally sad looking. "Am I strange to you?"

@Amora Aurora

Sarah gazed around the room, brow creased. She'd agreed to come(mostly at her brother's insistence) but was, admittedly, still a bit unsure about the whole thing. While the idea could be attributed to the fact that this all feels completely unreal and impossible, her cynycism also plays a major part in making it feel all the more impossible. Looking at her brother, she could tell that his mind was just the opposite. He glanced at her, an eager expression on his face and she flashed him a smile. Of course, he coud tell that it was fake so he quickly squeezed her hand, telling her that it would be ok, and she believed him. Looking away from her brother for the first time, she gazed around the room.

The fairytale-royalty story is most definetly believable, no one could deny that most everyone in front of her is attractive(including her brother, not that she'd ever willingly tell him that). She herself is fairly attractive but she believes that it's in her own sort of way. She smiled a little bit at the guessing, glancing at Neco to immediatly frown at her sadness, "You do seem strange, but to me everyone is, at least a little bit. And strange isn't always a bad thing," She said with a smile at the blue haired girl, "After all, don't we all have to be a little strange to be here."

Frowning at Asher, of course Eugene had to disagree with drinking when he's underage, but kept his mouth shut for the time being. His brow stayed slightly furrowed though, his mind roaring in it's confusion and the first flick of a match by his tempers fuse. Of course, he made a consious effort not to let his temper loose. This has the makings of an adventure- one that he's definetly looking forward to. To get his mind elsewhere and cool down, Eugene gazed between his sister and Neco during the duration of her speech and smiled; shoulders relaxing. He wanted to hug the blue haired girl, he felt protective of her already, within the short time that he'd known her.

With a glance at his sister, he commented on their parentage, "I don't really know who Sara and I's parents could be, really. I just know that they both had short hair immediatly before we were sent here, and that we look a lot like them," He threw in the words, frowning, in a way. Neither of them looked particularly like they were from a fairtale, he thought. After all, most princess's had longer hair, and their mother's was short. Looking to Neco, he suggested "The Goose Girl had silver hair I believe, so maybe she's your mom,"

Lucas Rylan

Lucas looked over at the girl with the long dark hair who had agreed with him and gave her a warm smile. He could sense her nervousness in being in a room filled with new people, and he totally understood that. Even though he himself had never had much issues with social awkwardness as he was a pretty friendly person, his younger sister was much more shy than him and this girl reminded him of her.

His hazel eyes redirected their attention back to the girl with the pale blue hair who had suggested to videotape their trip. He chuckled with amusement when she said that there were minors in the room, clearly displaying her disapproval.
"Oh lighten up! This will be fun," he told her with a playful smile. "I'll make sure that you enjoy yourself," he added with a teasing wink.

Lucas looked over at Asher who had begun to try and guess everyone's fairytale parents, rolling his eyes when he realized that he was only asking the girls. When Asher got stuck on the girl with the pale blue hair, his own eyebrows furrowed as well as he began to study her, trying to figure out who her parents were.
"Alright we give up. Who are you the perfect spawn of?" he asked, referring to the fact that everyone in the room was extremely attractive as a result of their magical parents. "And don't worry, the fact that we're even in this room makes us all strange," he added with a chuckle as his eyes darted back over to the rest of them.

His piercing gaze focused on the brunette girl who had just reassured the blue-haired girl about being strange. He observed her luscious brown wavy hair and gave her a charming smile.
"Let me guess. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider?" he asked, admiring her delicate features and alluring hair. "There's no way any normal person can have hair like that," he added as he pointed to her elegant brown waves.

Annabelle smiled at Sarah and Lucas, thankful. She was used to being teased here and there for her attitude. It bothered her, but she had learned to live with it. Nevertheless, she appreciated the attempts of making it sound like something positive. "The Goose Girl?" she repeated while laying a finger over her lips, a thoughtful expression now overtaking her soft face. She flipped the camera, now recording herself, her eyes fixed on the lens with an odd determination. "I'm not sure I know that one... Mhhh..." Annabelle quickly pulled out her smartphone. A colorful case hid the brand, though the watercolor motive was a lot more pleasing to the eye than a bitten apple or a little brand name. "Siri, google The Goose Girl, please and thank you. Oh..." Only after her unnecessarily polite request, she realized that it had messed up the search tags, though she at least had revealed the type of phone she carried.

Neco repeated herself, this time keeping the expression of gratitude to herself. Her brows had become a little furrowed, as she tilted her head to the side. Her eyes darted back to the boy who had made the guess. "I would really, really hope I'm not that woman's daughter. She seems very unpleasant. I suppose it's unlikely anyways, though. According to this, she's been killed without any off-springs. Maybe I can ask her if I'm her daughter?" As the illogical remark of talking to the, if she so happened to be real, deceased woman washed over the rest of the group, Neco looked back at Lucas, now fixing her camera on him again. "I'm having fun. A lot, actually." she replied in her trademark moony, far-away voice, her face barely hinting at a subtle smile. Not exactly the expression of intense amusement. "I just don't want to break the law, Asher." She shrugged, almost apologetically. "I don't know either. I honestly have no idea. I'm not that smart anyways, I'd probably guess wrongly."

Elizabeth rolled her eyes at Asher's guess of who her parents were. That was another thing she was bullied about, her last name. She looked at the floor as she spoke.

"I guess I could be. If this all is real I guess, but if it's not.. Nevermind." She mumbled as she took the letter she had recieved moments before Asher conviced her that it was all possibly real a few days ago.

She didn't open it, because she didn't want to read it again. It didn't say which fairytale princess or price it was from, but it did mention the fairytale world. She had always known she was adopted and this sort of made sense, but at the same time, it didn't. She could feel someone's gaze on her, but decided not to look up from the note. Her purple painted nails, slid over the letter. She looed up slightly only to look at everyone. They were all fairly attractive, more so than her. Her brown eyes lit up when she got a notification, because her notification sound was "Bleak December" by Set It Off. She grabbed her phone off of the ground next to her, and went on YouTube and turned on "Sleep When I'm Dead" by Set It Off, and a smile curled to her lips. She noticed a few people stare at her and a blush quickly tinted her cheeks and she paused the song feeling rather embarrassed that she didn't put her earbuds in.

Sarah smiled back at Neco, happy to have made her feel better. Hearing Lucas' words, she then blushed slightly at what she took as a compliment, Sara gazed at the space behind Lucas, gnawing on her cheek slightly as she thought over the idea, "Well, our last name is Rider," she shot a glance at her brother, "it's not our adopted parents last name, so it's... possible," her lack of belief in the whole thing made obvious by the slight fluctuation in her typically softer voice. Eugene then took the chance to cut in, and when she looked over at him his grin was wide and very believing; enough to make her heart melt at her usually emotionally reserved brother's childish happiness and innocence, "I believe it," was his only addition to the not quite conversation, but his smile remained. He'd always been the one more interested in their parents and past, and she could see it in his face.

Looking back to the taller boy, she looked at him whole gnawing at her cheek again. The habit may be bad, but she couldn't be bothered to stop it; it helped her to think. Thinking, she had to wonder that if this was all real, then who could his parents be. He looked muscular enough so that she figured that it probably wouldn't be a typical prince, but beyond that she couldn't be sure, "Who do you think your parents are, then?" she asked, giving up on figuring it out herself. Even if it was clear, she couldn't figure it out for the life of her and knew that she probably wouldn't be able to, no matter how long she decided to try.

MARINA JACOBSON

normal_hqdiesel1_601.jpg
Mina smirked, as the handsome guy with faded brown hair agreed with her proposition. "A little partying never huts. As for those of us who under twenty-one, I'm sure no one will tell." She spoke with a shrug, given that she was underage herself. Mina lounged on the sofa, raising a brow when the other protested against uploading videos. "I was for it until you guys made it seem like we're going to end up in straitjackets." The brunette remarked, shuddering at the thought of ending up in a mental institution. Mina believed she endured enough solitude growing up in various foster homes. It was time for her to use this opportunity to grow, especially given even the slightest possibility that her parents could really be out there.

As Asher began to ask who everyone's parents were, Mina sat up with intrigue. "Blue Eyes?" She snorted softly, shaking her head at the idea of screaming "old school Princess beauty." "If you must know, I think I've figured out who my parents are." The brunette announced to the room's inhabitants. "After Asher interrupted my swim practice, I did a bit of research. My real name, Marina, means 'from the sea' in Latin." She rambled, running a hand through her thick curls. "Since I'm really good at swimming, I think it has to do with the story about mermaids, meaning Ariel and Eric may be my parents." She continued, wondering what the others thought about her theory. "Also, don't get any ideas about ever calling me Marina." Mina warned, as she meant the threat.

She listened to the implications for the other's parents, believing some were spot on. She laughed when Dani called Asher a dumbass, thinking that she could along with someone who was just as blunt as she was. Mina smiled gently, when Neco asked if she was strange, nodding in agreement with Sarah's words. "She's right. Being strange is pretty exciting too. No one likes someone who is predictable all the time." She reasoned with a simper, still trying to place who Neco's parents were. "I honestly have no idea about you. The Goose Girl was a good suggestion, but something tells me that's not it." Mina voiced, her inquisitive nature taking charge, as she thought Neco mentioned something about talking to the Goose Girl herself. "Do you remember anything from before we were supposedly sent here?" She inquired, glancing at Neco with her cerulean eyes.

While waiting for an answer, she considered what Sarah said about her and Eugene's parents. "That seems simply enough. Muscle Man is right. Hair like that is almost unnatural." She chortled without a hint of envy. Though Mina's hair did not fall in soft, elegant waves like Sarah's, the swimmer adored her thick coils. Subconsciously playing with her locks, the young woman was drawn away from her pondering, as music blared throughout the room. Glancing over at Elizabeth, she noted her rosy cheeks, as a blush crept onto her face. Hearing Sarah's question moments later, she drew a blank to whom the third boy's parents might be. "Almost like her hair, your physique is somewhat unnatural. I'm guessing you play a sport or two." Mina commented with a soft smirk. It was clear that the others were accurate in believing they were all blessed with good genes.

Lucas chuckled softly in amusement as he listened to Neco muse about her parents, eventually telling Asher that she didn't want to break the law.
"Well I wouldn't be surprised if your parents were cops," he joked, a teasing glint in his hazel eyes as he referred to her need to follow the rules.

He directed his attention over to the quiet girl who Asher had guessed to be the daughter of Jasmine and Aladdin.
"I can definitely see that. You all have that mysterious vibe working for you," he commented, studying the girl with the long dark hair. He watched as embarrassment flooded her face when she played a song from her phone, music filling the air, before quickly pausing it. "Nice taste in music. You should keep playing it; I don't mind," he smiled at her. "We'll need a DJ for this party we're about to have, anyway," he added, his green eyes filled with excitement at the thought of partying.

Lucas' gaze looked over at the brunette girl with the luscious hair as she asked him who he thought his parents were. His thoughts immediately wandered back to the dream he had the same night he was paid a visit by Asher, and he doubt the timing was just a coincidence. The images of the large brown beast protecting the brunette woman wearing an elegant yellow dress was etched into his mind. It was odd trying to wrap his mind around the fact that his biological parents may not even be of this world.

He remembered the day that his adopted parents had told him the truth about his birth. They had been at the hospital, as it was the same day that one of his little twin sisters had been diagnosed with leukemia. His mother and father had brought him out into the hallway right before the doctor was about to collect their blood and cell samples, which would have eventually revealed the truth. He recalled his feelings of shock and confusion, which was quickly replaced by stress and anxiety when the doctor officially announced his precious little sister's leukemia diagnosis. She died six months later.

His reflection on that fateful day was broken as the girl with the ocean blue eyes began to speak. He was glad that she had interrupted his thoughts, as this was certainly not a time to throw himself a pity party. Lucas couldn't help but wrinkle his nose in disapproval as Mina mentioned her love for swimming and the water. He
hated swimming. There was just something about the water that filled his brain with fears of drowning. Whenever he went to the beach, he would only let his feet get wet, and whenever he went to the pool, he would only stay in the shallower areas. "I'll believe you're a good swimmer once you've taught me how to swim, Marina," he teased sarcastically in a challenging tone, smiling with amusement. So far, no one had ever been able to teach him how to swim. His parents had tried over and over, sending him to plenty of swimming lessons, but all their efforts had been in vain.

Lucas couldn't help but smile at their comments on his muscular physique. Sports had always been very natural to him, giving him an athletic build, besides swimming, of course.
"I do, actually. Soccer, basketball, lacrosse, you name it. Anything but swimming. Although my favorite would have to be football," he replied to the suspected daughter of Ariel. There was something about straight-on tackling someone that gave him an adrenaline rush. Plus, he found that he was generally able to overpower his opponent. He glanced over at Sarah as he reflected back on his dream. "I have a hunch that my parents may be Beauty and the Beast, although I'm not completely sure," he replied hesitantly.

Annabelle's head remained slightly tilted, but her eyes darted back and forth between those who spoke, as if she was watching a tennis match. A lot of what they said made sense. Others... it seemed more joking. "No, not really?" she eventually answered Mina with a tiny hint of a frown. "To be perfectly honestly, until Asher contacted me, I had no idea I was adopted." The way the girl spoke suggested she was a little sad about the revelation, but her demeanor didn't change too much. A little smile formed a few seconds later, as she focused both the camera and her eyes on Mina. "Marina is a very pretty name, Mina. I won't use it if you don't want us to, but it's very pretty." Considering the two just met, Neco's voice was awfully friendly, almost affectionate.

As Mina and Luca discussed the talents that would hint at their parents, she once more layed her index finger on her bottom lip. "The physque and the swimming... that makes sense. Does everyone here have a... talent like that? I'm just wondering 'cause I don't think I have any talents. My Youtube channel is going pretty well, but I doubt there's a fairytale about a patricularly adept social media user, mh?" A joke, of course, but Neco's voice, as usual, remained in her serious, slightly woozy tone, as if she was seriously considering the possibility if such a figure existing. "Are you a good person?" she suddenly asked out of nowhere, her gaze fixed on Luca. There wasn't much judgement in her voice. "You're very pretty and have a great body, it would make sense that your parents are them. If you're not a very good person, maybe Gaston is your father?"

Liz felt a tad bit better about her accidental music blast after Lucas said it was good music. She gave him a smile and looked back down at her phone. She chewed on her bottom lip as she debated on wether or not to turn her music back on. She decided to go for it. She went through her apps before finally stumbling upon Spotify and searched for her "party" playlist. Once she found it, she tapped on it lightly, putting it on shuffle and let out a small laugh because of the song that came on. The hotel room was filled by the sound of "Forever Stuck In Our Youth" by Set It Off.

She scruntched up her nose when she heard Lucas say his parents were possibly "Beauty and The Beast". Most people due to the fact that the fairytale is called Beauty and The Beast they call the characters in the fairytale that, and it's always bugged her. She looked at Lucas and a sigh escaped her lips. She didn't want to be rude, but she had to correct them.

"You mean Princess Bell and Prince Adam?" She spoke in a soft tone, and her gaze adverted back to the ground.

She tapped her fingers on her thigh to the beat of the song. She laid her head against the wall and stared at the cieling. She'd have to learn how to socialize with them other than just a few words on ocasion. Hopefully it'll be soon that she starts socializing with them. But not quite yet.

A quiet laugh escaped her small pink lips, hearing Annabelle's sugestion that Gaston could possibly be Lucas' father if he was bad. She shook her head still looking up at the cieling. It irratated her when people would stereotype people because of their parents. If their parents are bad, it doesn't necicarily mean they have to be bad too. Her fingers trailed down to her phone and pressed skip on a song that made her want to cry. She opened her mouth and began speaking to Annabelle.

"
Even if Gaston could possibly be Blondy's father, it doesn't mean that he'd have to be bad as well." Her tone was very similar to how she was first speaking, but it sounded a bit louder. Not an angry loud, just... Louder.

Fa Li

Li was late, not a big surprise for him, to be completely honest. But this was differnt. This mattered. Li was running down the hall, trying to find the hotel room that he was already supposed to be in. "Shit. Shit. Shit." He said to himself again for what had to be the one hundreth time. This was the thing he was waiting for his entire life. A clue that finally explained the dreams, or memories, or what ever they were. This would finally explain everything for him. And he had to go and buy the wrong plane ticket. Typical.

This all began for Li when his afternoon nap was interrupted a few weekes ago. A man around his same age was rambling on and on about fairytales. Li would have ignored it if it wasn't for the feeling pulling at his heartstrings. He always knew there was something just not right about his life. And no he wasn't talking about his white parents. He always tried to blame it on the fact that he was adopted. But that was just a cheap lie he told himself when ever he woke up from that same damn dream. A dream of a beautiful asian women, surrounded by fire and holding him in her arms. It was always the same. Always the same, "Remember me, Li." before he woke up with a cold sweat and tried to shake it away. So when his man walked up to him and started telling him this, he just couldn't ignore it.

He finally arrived at the right hotel room and burst through the door, practically breaking odd the hinges as he went. But when he steped inside the room he stopped in his tracks. It seemed everyone was already there, and this was a great way to catch all of their attention. Something he wasn't planning on. Then again, he doesn't plan for much.
"um.. Hi, I'm Fa Li. Well, actually my first name is Li and my last name is Fa, I'm just used to saying it Fa Li because I'm chinese.... But I'm not really from China... um, everyone just calls me that so, yah." He went on and on, finally stoping his rambling with a sheepish smile to the group.

Lucas' hazel eyes focused on the silvery-blue haired girl as she asked them if they all had talents. His mind instantly thought back to his retractable fangs and claws that he had almost forgotten about. He had reached the point in his life where he would pretend like they didn't even exist, but this whole fairy tale discussion had allowed him to remember. He subconsciously reached his fingers to his two canine teeth as his piercing gaze examined the tips of his fingers. It was hard to imagine that in an instant, they could become fangs and claws, but he was careful not to expose them now. Although he knew that the others in this room were in the same situation as him, he didn't trust them enough to fully reveal all of his abilities. He had
never told anyone about his fangs and claws, not even his parents.

The only thing his parents knew about was his enhanced healing, which had been disclosed when he had broken his arm when he was younger, only to have it fully recover the very next day. His father was very stern with him in making sure that he hid his healing ability. Lucas had also always noticed that he was stronger and faster than the other guys in his gym classes, making him a football star, but only now did he realize that it was most likely a result of his biological father.

His thoughts were interrupted as Neco asked him if he was a good or bad person and he chuckled with amusement.
"Well I would like to think that I'm a good person," he replied humorously. "Although if you ask my ex-girlfriend, you may receive a different answer," he added with a teasing glint in his eye, reflecting back on their not-so-ideal breakup. Lucas noticed that Liz had scrunched her nose when he mentioned his parents and corrected him by stating their real names. "Yes, Princess Belle and Prince Adam," he replied, correcting himself. The names felt weird yet familiar as they rolled off his tongue, having never even considered them as his parents. He noticed that her voice had gotten louder and wondered if this was a sensitive subject for her.

Just then, the door bursted open and an Asian boy entered the room in a hurry. Lucas looked up and observed the newcomer, smiling amusingly at his rambling and breathlessness.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Lucas," he introduced himself with a friendly nod as he gestured over towards one of the couches in the room for him to sit down. "You haven't missed much. We were just trying to guess everyone's parents," he said as he sat back into his seat, putting his hands behind his head.

Fa Li

Li took a little internal breath as the calm down a little bit. He took a quick look around the room and saw to his, pretty happy, surprise he was surrounded by some pretty good looking people. His eyes stayed for a second longer on the girls then the boy, for obvious reasons. Seeing how casual everything was Li could guess that hey hadn't gotten an any serious topics yet. Which was a little bit of a bummer for him. He was never one for the serious talks. But that didn't bother him too much, after all it would keep him from the even worse awkward, serious catch up talk.

He strugged off his nerves, seeing as nothing has really happened yet. They were just sitting here, waiting for the impending second letter. Li hoped it would be from his 'fairytale' parents this time. He wouldn't mind having his suspicions resolved and with a little family portrait to boot. That would be nice, but it was too much to ask for. So instead he walked into the group of pinces and princesses and took a seat.
"So, I guess you can quess who my 'mommy dearest' is. He really just wanted to be part of the conversation. He was never much for the suffer in silent type, and figures he might as well make a friend or two while he went through this 'fun filled' situation... note the sarcasm. He casually took off his jacket and stuffed it behind his head, making a little cusion as he leaned anginst the wall and made himself comfortable. Taking a little He leaned over to the girl next to him. She was beautiful and had some lovely blue hair to add to the package. He lightly wispered in her ear, "I'll give you a hint, it's not Snow White." Li said happily to her, trying to get a little laugh or two out of the girl.

Annabelle's head turned instantly, as Liz spoke, her voice having increased in volume considerably. Neco tugged at her long, woolen jacket, which went down to her knees, giving her a bit of a sleepy appearance, as if she was cuddled into a blanket. Her eyes widened a little and she suddenly had the expression of a little girl, caught stealing a cookie. "You are right." she said while nodding subtly, her voice unproportionally guilty sounding. She lifted herself up, put down her camcorder extremely careful and walked over to Liz, finally not entirely covered by her top. She wore a pitch black, shorts, that went to the midpoint of her thighs, her legs covered in a silky, black tight. Combined with the unnecessarily fancy looking shirt she wore below the jacket, she had a highclass appearance, though that impression would vanish once an onlooker laid an eye on her shoes - dirty, torn looking, black boots, much too clunky for her seemingly fragile frame.

Annabelle, now standing before the girl that she had just validated, grabbed her hands. She looked her deep in the eyes and tilted her head once more.
"I'm very sorry. That was very ignorant of me. And rude, too." She spoke half to Liz, half to Lucas, especially during the second sentence. Then, she actually did some sort of low-effort curtsy. The girl with the blue hair seemed to feel redeemed, now walking back to her seat in the corner. She picked up her camera, focused it onto the other teenagers with a large smile, and crossed her legs. "I'm sure you are a good person, Lucas." she said, now eyeing him curiously. He seemed to be lost in thoughts. The girl wondered if he had something to hide - She wouldn't blame him if he did. "I'll tell you mine, if you tell us." she proposed with a soft voice and a subtle smile, as a new body barged in.

The nervous looking boy rambled, which caused Neco to giggle a bit - the first audible expression she had let out under the eyes of her alleged fairytale friends. "Hello, La Fi, first name Li, who's technically Chinese but not from China." she greeted him. Usually, such a response would be soaked with sarcasm, yet, it didn't seem much like an attempt to antagonize him. Neco waved him like a cartoon character as he took the seat next to her. Instead of laughing, she carried a curious expression. "That'd be fun, you'd be her brother then!" she said, pointing to the girl they had earlier guessed was Snow's child. "Who's kid are you, then, Li?" She asked in a sincere way, though it was hard to tell whether she simply didn't put two and two together, or if the Gaston 'incident' had made her shy away from such assumptions.

@Semblance @AkwardWriter @WolfsbaneRain

"Beauty and the Beast- er, Prince Adam and Princess Belle," Eugene said quietly, more to himself then anything. Looking over at Lucas, he thought about the pair, bringing them up in his mind and it was easy to see. Then he thought about his own parentage, and it was just as easy to see. After all, his sister could easily be Rapunzel's sister, so it would only be logical to see the woman as their mother. And he, at the very least, could be seen as Flynn's cousin. Then there was his name, which he had to grin at, before leaving his thoughts to pay attention to the rest of the group again, "You seem nice enough, but she's right. The whole nurture vs. nature argument, but I don't think that you're Gaston's son, you really do look more like Belle and Adam's."

Startled out of his thoughts by an Asian boy, he looked up. Apparently, his name is Fa Li and Sarah stifled a laugh from next to him. He frowned slightly, looking over at her and she whispered in his ear, "Li Shang and Fa Mulan, don't you remember?" and he grinned at her. Of course that's her thought at the newcomer's name. The comment though gets a smile on his face, the fact that she's finally not acting so cynical about the whole thing, rather a bit more accepting about it. Of course, this didn't make her open up or anything, rather he could tell that she was already a bit more closed off then before. He frowned at that, before turning back to the others, but not before squeezing her hand and smiling at her for a second, trying to reassure her a little bit.

Lucas' hazel eyes tinged with amusement as he watched the newcomer try to hit on the girls. He watched as Neco rose to apologize to Liz, even curtseying, which surprised the boy with the faded brown hair. He didn't expect the dark haired girl's comment to affect her so much, let alone curtsey.
"Thanks, Neco," he replied to the silvery-blue haired girl when she said that he was a good person, watching her sit back down into her seat. "Although you did just meet me, so I suppose you can't reach that conclusion yet," he chuckled.

He shifted his attention over to the Asian boy who had introduced himself as Li.
"Really? I thought you were Cinderella's son," Lucas joked when everyone assumed his parents were Fa Mulan and Li Shang, even though his heritage was obvious. He began to shake his leg restlessly as he wondered when that second letter would ever come. "Alright, can we please get some drinks? It's getting hot in here. What happened to that party?" he finally said, looking over at Asher since his parents had rented out this hotel room for them.

Asher Ascort

__________________________________________

Asher listened amusingly to the conversations going on around him, checking his phone every now and then for the time, in anticipation of both the second letter and, more importantly at the moment, the alcohol. When Li jolted into the room, Asher didn't notice until he addressed everyone and Asher stuck his phone away. He grinned at the sight of him, impressed that he had actually convinced this many people that they might be out of fairy tales. It didn't sound like an every day accomplishment, and Asher had always been rather good at getting others to do things, but the turn out was pretty decent. Only one or two had apparently completely brushed him off and decided not to come.

Every time the sweet, whimsical voice of the blue-haired girl sounded in the room, Asher couldn't help but notice that his attention would immediately be drawn away from his phone. He found himself smiling at her actions every now and then, not so much in an amusing way so much as an intrigued one. So far, she was definitely one of his favorites. He'd been a big fan of Li as well upon their initial meeting, and though rounding Lucas up had been a little weird at first (a guy telling another guy he's a prince is obviously a little uncomfortable) he was really starting to grow on Asher as well.

At Lucas' mention of the alcohol, Asher checked the time, and nodded, picking up the hotel phone again now that he had confirmation from someone else that it had indeed been quite a long time since their order. He had just finished punching the number in on the decrepit phone when there was a knock on the door and he grinned, leaving his seat to answer it.

"Shit I can't get all this" he announced, taking a couple things and then turning around to set them in Lucas' lap before returning for more bottles. He handed over his license and credit card, waited while the server did his thing, and thanked him as he was walking out the door.

"The party starts now." Asher answered, setting the rest of the bottles on one of the beds and opening a bottle of Jack to start on himself.

"We have no cups. So if anyone in this room gives me mono you can pay my medical bills." He joked, remembering something he'd heard earlier and turning around to face Neco. "What's your youtube username? What do you do?" He asked, nodding his head to the music, genuinely interested in the answer for some reason. Asher very rarely cared about anyone but himself, and even more rarely asked questions about others, but that was mostly because no one ever really seemed worth getting to know. There was just something about this group of people, insane or not, that made him want to know them. Her and blue eyes first, though, definitely.

Dani Darling

__________________________________________________________

Dani laughed at the new kids jokes, feeling that he definitely added an exciting, upbeat chipper to the room immediately.
"Doesn't alcohol raise your temperature?" She mentioned in a teasingly sarcastic tone in response to Lucas' "It's getting hot in here" comment. "Logic." She added, raising her eyebrows at him and smirking. She opened her mouth to tease more but the knock on the door rang through the room and she groaned. "Finally. There is way too much weird 'getting to know each other' small talk in this place." She complained, standing from her spot to grab a bottle of Fireball from Asher's arms before he could even set it down, and take a seat on the floor next to the pretty girl with the good taste in music that she'd recently heard someone refer to as "Liz." Dani took a swig of the fireball and then offered the bottle to the girl to be polite. "Set it Off's badass. You into Against the Current? They're my go-to shower music." She said with an affirmative nod.
