Before you ask, no, I don't mean roleplaying as the staff.


The moderators and admins often joke about having our own roleplay. Well, I was going through my old stuff from my pre-RPN days, and I have a sci-fi survival story about a crew of mercs and scavengers that might make a fun, casual story for us.

A crew has been hired by someone (presumably very rich) to visit an abandoned, ruin colony that was destroyed ages ago, to find and bring back any advanced technology that can be salvaged.
Unfortunately, their ship malfunctions, and they are stranded in this ruined civilization until they can repair their ship. Good thing there's lots of old tech around, right? But it seems someone is following them - someone who has been dead a very long time.

If the RP starts while you're gone, I'll make sure to design an opening for you if you want to hop in. However, since you'll only be gone three days, we'd probably still only be in the planning stages.
