[The Official RPN Character Challenge 2015]Group C

I just came on, I'll go ahead and read the First Round description then return here.




 
Okay, so I just did.


Here's what Goridoc knows so far :


Wraiths are Ringwraiths in his eyes and are scared of fire (false)


Mountain Trolls aren't scared of fire but it could hurt hem and turn to stone when it's day (first part partly false not sure about the rest, probably false)


Knows nothing about ice beasts whatsoever.


I amen't sure if the Hobbit will survive though . _ .


Anyways, Goridoc is supposed to know none about these creatures, everything he 'knows' is mere guessing. I wonder what's Aldur cookin' for us out there....

Well, I'm hoping that Aldur giving me a little rhyme in the round one OOC is a good sign for me o~o Well, we won't really know what awaits us until we get started, so no point in getting scared right now about what'll happen to our poor characters :x

I could see Goridoc's grave though.




xD But seriously. I'm so glad I never used Tom Bombadil instead of Goridoc in that roleplay . _ .

WELL


Since our characters are going to be helping each other in life or death combat I'd probably say really quick introductions would probably be a first even though none of them will probably like each other.

Well, my character's going to be the "friendly" one of the group, emphasis on the word inside the quotation marks, not the quotation marks themselves seeing as it's not me being sarcastic, but me simply stating she'll act all friendly even though she doesn't really find much care in it.

If Goridoc meets Aldur he'll rage. Goridoc H.A.T.E.S. orcs.

So after reading through the rules and the makeup of the group I'll give you some insight on what Fredrick can do to assist.


First while he did mark combat his own actual combat experience is minor mainly in training from the palace guards (you know royal court stuff lol) and had not much in the form of actual direct combat where life was on the line.


As for the monsters based on his worlds lore their are similar types for the trolls and possibly ice beasts but the wraiths are beyond any normal knowledge he would know (outside of a ghost story lol).


The location looks bleak and since his combat element "water" is useless directly as a weakness it'll be more forward as a defensive skill for this team (least I'll direct him that way when the fights begin once he finds it useless on the creatures)


Overall reading the team that is grouped and style of combat and abilities here is what I can surmise our characters might win. (Note I am not suggesting you do any of this its just an idea of flow if you want overall I'll just list possible combos or ideas of roles like a video game group would play as in the end do what you want and lets have fun!)


As this is a wave battle with the old fashion "King of the Hill" style of defending and surviving our personalities will most likely cross on what is considered important or not. (Some may just want to fight and be bloody others may see the objective of the fire and tower as precedence, and some may see this as a chance to gain the advantage to sabotage the group "who knows?")


So with that based on the weakness and strengths here is our key ability combos from a single view (take it all as just useless info and grain of salt from a fellow RP-er):


@Dark Severus ) - While you may say he wouldn't know much never look down on a hobbit (Scout/Etc?). With keen size and near ability to slip between the eye's of the enemy you may very well catch an opening where others miss. Added that as far as my knowledge most hobbits are strong willed and heart so who knows a wraiths scream may only frighten you while leaving others disoriented.


Himiko Tenkuu (@Kiyoko Tomoe ) - Not only kind and childish I feel the potential of you being the motivator of the group and getting us to actually work together (Caster?/Team Lead Possibly). After all you can catch more flies with honey!. Your ability with fire as well as stamina will be a unique weakness to the trolls (when you find it or someone else notices that will be interesting to see!). Add that light and the tower's fire are a key interest for this match up who knows you may very well be our wild card for freedom lol. Lets hope your stamina keeps up


Katsuro Katashi (@Gilzar ) - As magic fire may not always be within our beckon call nothing says a little explosion couldn't help! Though your quick to anger could leave us with friction your talent and arsenal as well as keen eyes as a Shinobi will be crucial to our survival. (Assassin/Ranged or Melee Possibly)


Owen Vi Rogue (@OnyxReaper ) - No one lives forever...that is less your immortal. Your healing ability will be interesting to see for many here and perhaps even shock a lot of us lol. Though your twisted personality hidden behind a smile may lead to a possible mistrust or mixing of those easily angered. Than again who knows perhaps what we need is a demon to face off against monsters. (Warrior/Assassin/Melee?)


Ragya Shengli (@FewUtherClockKlik ) - Neutral and calm reflection it may lead many to feel you as a noble or at least socially different than what a girl may reflect. Though your paranoia towards kind and sweetness of others with the team may play off possible weakness towards the group. The idea of your constant mental anguish with the blood lust of your inner demon leaves an opening could this onslaught shatter you or will you hold out? Your abilities will be a great assets as well adding both the skill of the sword and unique shock treatment this will be values greatly. (in fact I like the idea of a little shock and water mixing if your up for it with fredrick depending on the character development) could prove useful! (Caster/Melee/Beserker?)


Finally Fredrick Reiss (Me) - Overall like I said before his water will do little it seems in the form of damage. With his kind though often times quite nature it'll be difficult for him to grasp the reality of this fight overall. It'll be a weakness to the team for sure, however that doesn't mean he won't fight and with a little push will do his best to defend the team. (Caster/Range/Support?)


With the mix of each group and member's ability their are a few possible combos if your interested. (water + electricity) (Ninja + Fog) (Etc if you have an idea I am all the willing to work with it )


So after all is said in done this is all just a bunch of useless information, but its insight from a fellow team mate take what you can or don't but I hope we all have a great time and I REALLY look forward to seeing each of your characters in this round.

I DID actually think of that, considering that, even though it isn't canon, Goridoc dealt with a Ringwraith that was tracking Frodo--though he didn't, like, fight it or anything, but he was there during its presence. But I meant if he just charges the wraith with a torch in his hand he'd die almost instantly (?).

Ahaha... I don't think any of my characters are hat good at all. I mean, I suppose possibly one or two a little above average quality, but that's just 'possibly' :x

That... That, I can agree with...

I don't think any character here is BAD per say. I thank you by the way for doing all of that homework, and scrounging together a guide for us. It will definetely make things easier.

The word "perfection" is never in my dictionary especially in my line of work.


I always believe that anything can be done better, but never sell yourself short as long as your trying their is always another step available.


Now I really need to head to bed so I'll leave with this
