Fantasy ☾ℒℯtℴ☽ *Closed Temp*

Rowan's attention was shifted briefly, as she made eye contact with another person. She assumed it was the Draik Eira had mentioned, judging by the presence of a small water dragon. But she was suddenly distracted by a voice greeting them. She turned around to find Eira staring, open mouthed and blushing slightly, at a beautiful elf. He recovered quickly however, and turned away to hide the fierce redness in his cheeks from being so obvious. Rowan grinned as she glanced at his reaction, before replying to the elf, "Yes, we're just stopping by for the festival. We heard about it from a passing traveler, and as I've never attended a festival other than those hosted by my parents-which were very dull since I was never allowed to explore by myself- we thought we'd stop by. It's all so lively and exciting!" Rowan spoke cheerfully, happy that she was finally able to have the freedom to attend a festival on her own terms, and that she could explore as she wished.

"How wonderful! Where are you two from?"

The snow elf exclaimed while clasping her hands together. Her smile was warm and infectious as she spoke to the two newcomers. Evangelina caught a glimpse of the man next to the Fire Draik and his... blushing face. She had a feeling she knew why, but payed no attention to it. He seemed embarrassed.

Aslan watched Evangelina with careful eyes. He felt tension between the Wind and Fire Draik. It both worried him and made him more slightly aware. For now, Aslan decided to watch. He smiled as the dark elf hugged his neck and scratched at his head.

"You are alarmed as well?" Aslan murmured to the dark elf, who muttered a 'damn it' close to his ear. It seemed he was not the only one worried about the situation.

Zara nodded her head slightly, "Yes, you see a clan of Fire Draiks are after him, trying to kill him in order to take the Draik kingdom for themselves, but he doesn't know who" whispered Zara to Aslan as she continued her petting, even though the situation was tense she couldn't help herself but pet the big cute tiger ( XP ).

The snow elf's friendliness was infectious, warm, and comforting, and Rowan smiled happily at her. "My people live in the far south, near Mount Ire, if you've heard of it. I left home long ago though, and came to explore and see the world. I haven't been home in quite some time actually. And Eira here," she gestured to the boy, who had seemingly recovered from his embarrassment and was now watching the two converse, "grew up with a group of elves that live not far from my mountain actually. He's not pure elf though," she added as a sort of afterthought. Eira gave her a look, because it was unnecessary that she added that little fact. It was clear enough to anyone that payed attention, since he was missing the signature pointed elf ears.

Evangelina listened happily and nodded here and there. The wind began to pick up once more, rustling her long white hair.

"How interesting. I've never met a half elf before." Evangelina murmured while studying Eira's face for a moment. She hoped she didn't make him nervous. Evangelina couldn't pinpoint it, but she got the feeling he was more than just a half elf. A hybrid of some sort.

"I grew up on Mount Kilkreath. I'm not sure if you've heard of that area either. It collapsed when I was little." Evangelina found herself leading the conversation to a place she wished not to speak of. Quickly, she changed the subject.

"Oh! How rude of me. My name is Evangelina. It's very nice to meet you both." The snow elf bowed deeply and then returned to a normal stance.

Aslan glanced over to the dark elf and nodded in understanding.

"Hm. I see." He murmured with his deep, rumbling voice. Aslan watched the Fire Draik curiously.

"Many others seem to be aware as well. The tension has grown." Aslan glanced towards Pharos and the hooded figure next to him. He hoped this wouldn't become violent. He would hate to intervene at such an event.

"Oh damn..." She murmured in reply. As long as he was attempting to conceal himself, he was just making it worse. "Confront her. Your attempts as hiding are making it worse" Dysis muttered. Dax would give a slight rumble of agreement.

"That seems to be true" replied Zara as she casually looked back and forth between the whole group, still hugging Aslan and petting him. She then smirked a bit, "I'm jealous of you big cats, you guys have such soft fur" stated Zara, trying to relieve some of the tention, so she said it a bit loudly.

( Pharos is the hooded person :3)

"It sounds familiar," Rowan replied when Evangelina mentioned where she grew up. "And I'm sorry for not introducing myself as well. My name is Rovanjun, but I go by Rowan." She smiled and bowed slightly as well in reply. While Evangelina seemed to study him, Eira refused to let himself break eye contact. He also took the opportunity to study her as well. As the wind picked up and moved her hair, he was surprised to note that she was one of the only people he'd ever met with a similar hair colour to him.

As the wind picked up, Pharos' hood slid off his head. He sighed, facing The Water Draik. "you're right... the winds themselves seem to agree." For now he simply looked over to where the fire Draik was, waiting for her to notice him. He was nervous, but he had friends here, and he highly doubted they'd let him die. The whole thing could even be a false alarm, but he highly doubted that.

Zanna flew down, landing right beside Pharos and gently placing a hand on his shoulder, as if to say; Don't worry we got your back. She gave him a light nod before turning back to face the Fire Draik, removing her hand from his shoulder as her wasps began to stir inside of her, awaiting her command to attack if needed.

Aslan chuckled quietly and rested his head onto his massive paws.

"You are fond of big cats I see. Did you used to have one as a companion?" He tilted his head to the side and smiled caringly at Zara. The cool wind smelled of fresh grass and pine from the trees. The tiger closed his eyes in relaxation as the breeze flowed through his caramel fur.

Evangelina flashed Eira a warm smile before looking back over to Rowan.

"That is a lovely name. I'm glad you two are here for the festival. My companion is over there," she glanced behind her at the turquoise striped tiger. Aslan smiled towards them and then continued to relax into the grass.

"His name is Aslan. I'm sure he would love to meet you." Evangelina swiveled back towards them with her soft lips curled into a delicate smile.

Zara nodded her head a bit, "Yes I did, her name was Lizzy and she was a Nemesis lion, we were great childhood friends" replied Zara with a bittersweet smile as she remembered her childhood with the big cat, they were always the ones to get into trouble; unlike her brother as he was always training and plotting.

"And we're glad we came as well, we wouldn't have met you otherwise." When Evangelina mentioned her companion, Rowan said, "The gorgeous tiger? Can we go over and see him? Only if that's alright of course." While the two girls were talking, Eira decided to scan the crowd around them. He noticed that there were a few people that seemed to pay paying an abnormally large amount of attention to him and Rowan. He was about to point it out to Rowan, but then he noticed the wind draik watching them. He frowned, but decided against saying anything to her.

"Lizzy... what a lovely name."

Aslan murmured with his eyes still closed. He smiled almost sadly after a few moments of silence.

"Losing a loved one is something I know far too well." He said to her. Somehow, there was still gentleness and calmness in his sad words. But he wished not to speak of it anymore, and opened his eyes towards the beaming sun.

Evangelina laughed a quiet little laugh and nodded.

"Of course it's alright." She began to lead the two towards the magnificent tiger. Before they reached Aslan, Evangelina glanced behind her at Eira.

"I never got your name." She said to him softly.

The tiger looked up at the sound of Evangelina's voice. She seemed to be bringing over two others he hadn't met yet. He welcomed them with a warm smile.

"Yes it is horrible, but they would not want us to be sad" smiled Zara comfortingly as she continued to pet and hug the tiger, it was just like any other experience with an animal; soothing and calming. "Between you and me, I don't think this girl is part of the assassination clan that's out for Pharos" continued Zara, true she could be wrong in this statement; heck she didn't look the part but she was a princess and a assassin in her own right, but she went with her gut on that statement.

Dysis would walk up behind the wind Draik. Glancing from face to face she would stay silent. Waiting and watching.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Mutt suddenly asked Pharos, looking over at his friend in concern. Mutt knew he wasn't exactly an intimidating person, but at the moment he had (somewhat) the fur of a Nemian lion, and more importantly the claws. If things turned sour he had no doubt he would be able to help his friend if he needed it. The last thing he wanted was to lose one of his new friends when he could have helped stop it.

Zanna's comforting gesture and Mutt's offer warmed Pharos' heart. These two were still practically strangers to him, and they knew they could be themselves in danger for his sake. "Yes, I'd feel safer if you did, friend. She might have nothing to do with them, but... I can't afford to take any chances."

Eira smiled a tiny, shy smile at Evangelina . "My name is Eira." Rowan heard Evangelina speak softly to Eira, but decided to leave them to their conversation, while she continued on her way to meet Aslan. Yet she swore she could feel eyes watching her, so she turned and scanned the crowd. There were several watching her, but one in particular seemed to stand out. A Wind Draik. She froze on the spot, and her eyes widened.

Pharos stepped back a few paces, and looked betwteen Mutt and Zanna to see how they were handling this. He remained silent, waiting for the Fire Draik's reaction. He tried as hard as he could to deny his fear and look her straight in the eyes. Kiera watched from a distance, trying to think of what she could do, if anything.

Mutt simply followed behind by a step, keeping an eye on the draik. "Whatever you do, I'll follow." He answered calmly as he looked over at him.

Pharos took a deep breath, deciding that he needed to take initiative here. He's supposed to be a leader, but that was always hard for him. he spoke as calmly as he can towards the fire Draik. "Why do you react to seeing me in that way, Fire Draik?"

"I don't think she is as well. But let us watch."

Aslan watched the Fire Draik finally become aware of the Wind Draik not too far from her. Instead of attacking, she froze in her tracks. Aslan studied her with interest. An assassin would not act so surprised. With his head now raised, his turquoise eyes watched every movement and listened to every word.

Evangelina smiled at Eira, but stopped in her place as Pharos called out to Rowan. She frowned, and exchanged a quick worried glance with Eira. The tension grew as voices began to die down around them. She hoped this wouldn't become violent, and like Aslan, began watching the situation.

Zara could sense this getting bad and took a few last seconds petting Aslan before giving him one more pat on the head, "Thanks for letting me do this to you, I haven't snuggled with a big cat in ages, I do hope you'll let me do this again sometime" smiled Zara grimly before disappearing and reappearing a little behind his right shoulder, a few throwing knives dipped in poison hidden behind her cloak of darkness, waiting just in case. "Don't worry I've got you cutie" whispered Zara into Pharos's right ear.

Based upon her reaction, Dysis was beginning to suspect that the Fire Draik wasn't here to cause harm. Yet she stayed quiet, not wanting to interrupt the current series of events.
