The Time of Change (1x1) [Telios & Azimuth]

"I guess there's a new new one. And I'm buying it." Emily said as she placed it on the counter. She paid for it and the pair set off again. "now what? My place to try this thing out?"
 
"yes!" Emily walked quickly to the car and climbed in.


"well, there they are." jack said, rising his goggles. "have you ever wondered why we kill them?" he asked out of the blue.
 
"A Shifter killed the King... But that was one hundred years ago and the assassin was killed. I'm not sure why we are still hunting them down." Tyler answered, tailing the car when it started moving.
 
"just back off them. I'm not gonna lose em." jack said. "that was a hundred years ago. Shifters are different nowadays. Look at these two. Just a couple of girls on a shopping trip after going to the beach. And we have to kill them.... Honestly, I think it's time for change."
 
"I know right. But how? We are just normal soldier Hunters. We can't do anything." Tyler pulled over, stopping on the side of the road.
 
We can stop killing them. Maybe even see if they'd help us take down the company....." he sighed. "I'm tired of killing innocents."
 
"Me too." Tyler sighed, leaning back in his seat. "And taking down the Hunters' League? That'll be hard... But doable."
 
"... You know, there actually are bombed planted all over the building. It started out with me hating the general and I went overboard." be picked up the briefcase and opened it. He pulled out a small button from beside the folded piece of steel that was his rail gun. "press this and the generators blow up. Even the CEO's car."
 
"But what about the other Hunters. Maybe there are some who are just like us, wanting to end this stupid war." Tyler said.
 
"you've forgotten how gun Ho those guy are. They hate shifters as much as the boss does. They won't listen. They'd only kill us for treason. So, do we press the button?" he asked.


"who are these creeps following us..." Emily muttered. Then the car that was following them pulled over. "okay, never mind." she glanced at Sarah, who looked kinda bored. So she pulled the bag out from under her seat and held it out to Sarah. "why don't you take a look at the precious, to pass the time a little."
 
"...Do it." Tyler said after sighing heavily.


"Aren't you afraid that cops or someone might catch us due to me, holding gems?" Sarah questioned.
 
He pressed the button without hesitation. "and now we're are free."


"you mean these carved pieces of glass ? Pssh. No way. We'll be fine."
 
Sarah shrugged and grabbed a gem out of the bag, looking at it.


"Finally....." Tyler sighed in relief.
 
Emily randomly started giggling. "I wonder what those divers are doing now."


"well approach those shifters once their tag stops. Hopefully they l know other shifters."
 
"I bet he's still trying to convince his friend he saw a really live shark girl! But his friend just thinks he's lying." Emily sighed happily. "I'm so happy being me."


Jack was stolen for another minute. ".... We don't want to lag too far behind. Let's get moving again."
 
Tyler nodded as he started the car, starting to move again.

Shortly, the two shifters arrived at Emily's home. Emily hopped out and headed for the door, unlocking it and waiting for Sarah to follow.
 
Sarah quickly got out of the car and followed Emily inside.


Tyler drove the car as Jack told him to, eventually arriving at Emily's house. "That's the car they were in..." Tyler said, stopping the car behind Emily's.
 
Emily would have been trying to figure out how to set up her oculus rift when someone pulled up in her driveway. She went to the window and peeked out. "oh great. Our stalkers are back. I'm gonna scare them off." she shifted Into the form of a brown bear as she went to the door.


Jack hopped out. "Emily has seen us. Expect something to try and scare us away." he made his way towards the door. "let me do the talking."
 
"I'll be here then." Tyler said, turning off the car.


Sarah gave a soft "Hm?" before nodding. "Okay then." She smiled before taking over the setting up of the Oculus Rift.
 
Jack knocked on the door and waited for a response. A few moments later the door opened to a brown bear, that bore it's teeth at jack. Jack seemed completely unphased. "excuse me, but we need to talk with you and your friend. We have a proposition that will no doubt interest you both."


Emily edged closer to the man outside her door. She stood up on her two back legs, towering over him. The man did nothing but gaze up at her. he knows. How does he know I'm a shifter? Emily decided to shift to her human form. "what do you want."
 
Tyler waited in the car for Jack. He was trying to hear what they were talking about but he heard nothing. They were too far away.
