I grab a branch and swing "OK Tim and Belle I swear if you don't catch me I will haunt you!" I laugh at my joke, still what a strange boy? a little up himself though, I drop from the tree but before I land on the ground with a big splat they catch me and I land softly. I stumble back slightly before running back into the school fast and running into another wall "ouch" I laugh as I land on the ground

Levi thought the girls response was a classic one. It's different, he supposed it was a good an answer as any.
"I'm terribly sorry how rude of me. I am Marquis Levitticus Ezekiel Layton di Calabria The Third. And whom do I have the pleasure of speaking with?" He introduce himself as was proper, but wondered if the poor girl would think him a pompous pratt. Peons always thought that about the wealth for some reason... wait, peasants? Maybe, no. What was the proper term?

Kaoru's eyes widened as the boy said his name. No, not because it was pretty long, but because of the word 'The Third' at the end of his name. Was it a title? Was he the member of a royal family? But Kaoru suddenly realized that she acted kind of rude that her eyes widened, so she quickly glanced away and with a slight smile, she answered,
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Marquis Levitticus.. uh, The Third? It'd be nice if you have a nickname, do you have any? I'm Kaoru Tanuma, or Kaoru for short."
Did I really just speak to a royal family member?

"Please no need for titles, Levi is fine. It's a pleasure to meet you Kaoru." He held her left hand and kissed the air above it, as was proper. One only kissed the hand of a married woman.
"So what brings you to this school? You sent here because your parents want to vacation in Cabo too?" He joked. His parents wouldn't actually do something like that, but many of the classmates he had told him such stories. He never could relate to the aristocracy either.
"And who's in charge around here? No one ever did tell me where classes were, it all seems so terribly disorganized here." He lamented with a melodramatic and bored sigh.

Kaoru blushed as Levi held her hand and kissed the air above it, but tried to still act normal. She eyed the chair next to her giving a sign to him to have a seat. "What brought me to this school? I have no idea either, to be honest," she said. "I lived only with my mother and grandmother. I'm probably only a burden to them so my mother sent me here. And so I can improve my power, which is water controlling. Yeah I guess that's it. What about you, Levi?" Kaoru smiled slightly. It was her first time telling her backstory to someone she just met. She didn't know either how she felt this guy was a good person she could trust.
"And, I also have no idea about the classes. Do you think it's better if we start finding our classes?"

Rin rubs her head and even though she's dizzy she stands up and stumbles to her next class "sorry for being late" I say to the teacher and take my seat in the middle row nearest the window, god this is boring, she says to her self before looking to the front and seeing Timothy and Belle doing funny motions to the teacher which makes her giggle

Levi was genuinely surprised she was rather normal. It was the first...person-of-her-sort who hadn't found a reason to be offended at his civility.
"Fascinating, but I'm sure they don't think you are a burden. You may feel that way. However, we tend not to see things for how they are, but how we are. Do you understand my meaning?" He was suddenly curious as to how she grew up. It sounded a tad lonely, a bit like his own circumstance, but even he had one sibling...as opposite as they were.
"Me? Well there isn't much to tell acutally. I'm just a simple kind of man, in search of a better tomorrow." He tactfully avoided the subject. He never did like to talk about his family life, most people found it depressing, although he wouldn't know any different. It was just best left unspoken.
"Well I think I'd like to go to second period. Would you care to join me?" He held out his arm to help her up.
He honestly wasn't sure what, if anything he saw in her. Perhaps it was just how sad her eyes were that belied the masquerade of her smile. She looked like she could use a friend.

Kaoru smiled at Levi's words. He seemed like an interesting person to her and she could somewhat relate to him. "I totally understand your meaning. But still, I believe my mother is a lot happier when I'm not around." Kaoru took Levi's hand and stood up. Standing beside him like that made her look quite short, and she was even shorter than most girls her age. "I'll join you."
Kaoru honestly felt that Levi didn't want to talk about his family and backstory that she didn't continue asking. It's the first time we meet each other though, so don't worry Kaoru, it's not that he doesn't want to talk to you, he probably thinks it's too early to talk about personal matters. She tried to calm herself down, as she started walking out of the library.

Levi took Kaoru arm in arm through out the hallway in search of their elusive classroom. How freaking big is this place? It's like that British wizard children's book, but with a Japanophile flare about it.
Kaoru seemed to look around with the wide eyed wonder of a child. He found it kind of cute, but he couldn't help but wonder about her mother. He thought it best not to pry.
Then they happened past a classroom in session. That weirdo who liked to talk to herself was in there. Rin was it? She was staring at the teacher and giggling, but he couldn't find anything funny with the boring lecture. What class was it?
"Perhaps it's one of those free for all classes? Maybe we just go where we are interested?" He mused. "Come on." He took Kaoru by the hand and sauntered into the class.
"Move it or loose it." He sped past the teacher like he owned the place, ignoring the protests.
He took the second chair from the back next to the window, prime real estate. "Please sit down." He invited Kaoru to take a seat in a class room that seemed a tad empty. Only a handful of people in a class that seemed to sit 30.

I see the stuck up boy and the nice girl sat down and Timothy came to me and I whispered into his ear, we both chuckled before he walked to Belle whispering what I had just said to him. She nods and they both walk behind the stuck up boy and nice girl Belle gives Levi a wet willy and Tim holds his nose so no air could go through which causes me to start laughing uncontrollably which started to get me some dirty looks from across the class "Miss Shion have you got something to tell the class?" the teacher asks and I shake my head even though I was technically in tears.
Belle looks at the nice girl and plays with her hair and she looks up to me "She has such pretty hair, and her eyes are so beautiful" Belle goes up real close to her which looks weird for me and I laugh again.
Belle then walks to Timothy and Belle walks back towards me, but Tim stole the teachers laptop.

Levi felt a sudden rush of cold. It was strange how he had the urge to rub his ears, even stranger was how the weird girl began laughing uncontrollably.
"Psst. Hey you." He whispered over to the weird girl. "You've been laughing all day. What's so funny? Are you on the dope?" He asked wondering if she was on drugs or something.

I cough and shake my head "hey Levi feeling cold?" I ask and giggle slightly, Belle walks up to him and looks to me "scare him a little?" she asks and I nod looking to right beside Levi where she stood, Belle then leans in close to him and whispers into his ear, rumor has it if a ghost whispers into your ear loud enough you can just make out some of the words. "Moon tear Moon tear it all ends in Moon tear, clap your hands,take a deep breath and count to ten" she sings an old nursery rhyme from my home town.

Kaoru didn't think there was something funny, what was it to laugh at? Was the girl, perhaps, ill? She once read the news about a kid who was ill and couldn't stop laughing even when the kid wanted to. Or, was the girl cursed to laugh her whole life?

I stop laughing "I'm fine....how come your hair is floating?" I ask trying to sound as normal as I could and Belle starts picking up pieces of her hair moving them around crazy like which makes me giggle slightly. I motion Tim and he kisses her cheek which I don't tell him to do but he does it anyway, maybe he has a crush? but I think he's a little old for her I mean he may have the body of a 17 year old but he's actually over 100 years old.
