Don't be weak. rEaD cHiLd.

The message had finally been sent.
Scarlet watched as slowly but surely, a small buzzing set off by her phone signaled one notification after the other. The vibration triggered a silent curse. With a wave of her hand, the laptop she had sitting open-lidded on the smooth wooden desk faded into grey mist that resembled the kind one would see from the smoke of a newly lit fire. Facing closed curtains she rose to her feet with a content smile and caught the barely traceable outline of a figure swiftly moving aside. If she didn't know any better then she would have waved it off as a trick of her own mind. But She did know better.
"You may open it up to them and please remember to treat our guests with the same respect that you do me."
The very second she spoke those words mellow light poured in from every angle of her office as every curtain was drawn back to reveal the beautiful campus that she, along with a few notable others, had built the newly improved and freshly merged school upon. The very space that she had poured both her time and very essence into making. Once again the invisible figure changed their place but instead of moving away from the headmistress, it moved to her side. This time she hadn't seen it but instead felt the smallest shift it caused for them to move through the room. In an hour she'd be hosting a rather full-house of children from backgrounds and origins of all different kinds. Both old students and new ones. Being far from new to running larger academies, she didn't know what to make of the quick responses each one of her newest students had sent forth. But she had to give them credit for their courage even with them knowing that the odds were usually stacked against them...Even if it was powered by ignorance.

She could feel the small nod of understanding from the transparent figure and with that confirmation, Scarlet took one last look at the scene displayed in the windows before her before exiting the spacious lounge of an office. The new day was still young and the nearly invisible figure watched as Apollo drove his sun chariot through the sky, replacing his sister's beautiful silvery moon before it finally went off to carry out its own task of spreading news around the campus ground.

As Scarlet turned a curious gaze down the long hallway her office had been part of she caught sight of her activities director leaving the comforts of his own office. His usual noisy ring of keys echoed back to her while he locked the door. By the time Leo had met Scarlet's eyes, the sound of light chatter of students from outside the walls could be better heard. With a brief wave her way, he straightened out his suit then casually duplicated himself so a body double of himself stood beside him. The double also waved at Scarlet before going on its own way with its own task in mind.

Seeing Leo turn his back to her, Scarlet then felt ready to carry on with playing her own part. Which also meant that she'd have to be ready to take over any smaller job in case anything went wrong. And she'd come to learn that a whole lot could go wrong in just a single day. With that pleasant thought, she was off to the auditorium when an announcement soon sounded on the countless speakers around campus.

"Students of old please make your way to the auditorium to properly greet the school's freshman group."
Knowing the voice to belong to none other than Tisharia herself, the headmistress was somehow glad that she'd begun her move when she had and even began to wonder if any of her students would be there waiting for her. No one needed to tell her though. Scarlet knew well enough just who the early birds would be.
“Have no fear of perfection, you'll never reach it.”

Fetrius

To: Anyone

As Fetrius slept, his memories and dreams a wisp in his mind and soul, the oh so familiar voice beamed from then PA's. With a grunt and delirious look around the room after the screeching, or at least inside his head what seemed like screeching, for his clock. Looking to his chilled nightstand, the frost of his body temp spreading like usual, no matter the layers of blankets he applied. Scrapping off a thin layer of frost from the front face of his clock, Fetrius almost seemed to be in anger at seeing an abhorrent early hour. With a groggy slosh of his arms and legs, Fetrius rose up and sat at the edge of his single sized bed. The dorm, quiet for the moment, lulled for Fetrius to come back to his haven of sleep. The temptress of the room almost won, with Fetrius ultimately pushing off the bed and standing, not letting himself be convinced by the invisible temptress that seemed to talk to his mind. With his claws planted on the ground, he walked, slowly and uncoordinatedly to the bathroom, the tip of his claws scrapping ever so slightly when his foot didn't pull completely up.

Hitting the tile floor of the bathroom, Fetrius ran the water and grabbed his toothbrush, the bristles showing signs of wear and use over a long period of time. Knowing this though, Fetrius cared little and brushed away, running toothpaste and water over the brush and scrubbing away at his long and piercing teeth. A stale taste of food and dry mouth stayed with Fetrius up until he had spit out his toothpaste. Looking into the mirror, Fetrius almost frowned in the state he saw himself in. His mind slowly coming awake, he splashed his eyes with cool water and dried his elongated scales with a hand rag. A scratchy approach to Fetrius's speech came before any words were uttered from his scaly lips. "Well, today is the day huh. New people, new classes, same hell." A hoarse chuckle and shake of his head came after this, him walking over back into the dorm room, heading to the dresser. As he opened the drawer, his few articles of clothing once again greeted him with a kind soft essence, this at the least, made him grin in nostalgia.

Grabbing his hide covers and furred top, he pulled them over his exposed scales, his wrapped cloth underwear brushing his thighs as he wrapped fitted his shorts more appropriately. Wrapping his feet decidedly, with a tight bound on his heels and pads, he coughed, pieces of phlegm making an auditory rattle in the large Dracon's throat. Chalking it up to just being tired and having a dry, unquenched throat, Fetrius grabbed for a water bottle. His long nails and hand ran over a bottle, his fingers grabbing the top as he pulled back and took a decided chug of the contents. The water seemed to chill almost as soon as he held the bottle, the water almost coming out as a slushy into the Dracon's mouth.

With his basics covered and feeling awake, Fetrius grabbed for his trusty sword, it being in its belt held sheathe around the edge of the bed. Tying the belt around his waist, Fetrius checked all his clothing articles and pieces, making sure there was nothing he was missing. Feeling complete , Fetrius headed onwards to outside of the room, into the hall. Entering the hall, he had yet to see anyone he recognized, or anyone at all for that matter. With a surprised but semi-satisfied look on his faced, he spouted more clearly now and not as hoarse, "Aren't I moving up in the world. Can't believe I'm up like this. Might as well be in the military." A scoff at the idea of the military came almost involuntarily as Fetrius mentioned it. Looking around the hall once more for any students, he headed towards the atrium, grabbing into his shorts pockets for his earbuds and phone, finding them and plugging in one ear with a bud, some kind of softer music playing as he walked onward towards the atrium as demanded before.

Gab.jpeg As daylight breaks, it was time for everyone to start a new day whether it was for the first day of school or a second year to stuff in more knowledge. For Gabriel, it was an endless day with different timestamps. He required no sleep, and instead had to pass the time until curfew was up. The P.A. systems awakens the slumbers providing an objective to meet at the auditorium. Gabriel pops his head out from underneath a pile of pumpkin plushies eccentrically. He's waited for the longest to start up school, and now it's come. He closes his book from underneath the pile and prepares for the day.

Meanwhile, a hooded staff member retreats from his scouting around campus to greet the students. Today is an important day for everyone. After one disaster over another, something wonderful came forth, and that is the combination of two schools. A brilliant plan that came from Scarlet, no less. It would be no surprise if she were two steps ahead of the game. If only he could be incredibly quick witted as her. Still, the collapsed caused some to leave the schools after a year. It was a sad sight to see them go. "If only they would have had faith and held on a little longer." Roy thought.

Roy.jpg A few ways ahead, Roy spotted his son walking through the halls lost in thought. Roy joins the boy for a casual stroll. "Good morning, son~!" He chimed. The peppy voice was enough to grab everyone's attention. "Father." He acknowledged plainly. "Something on your mind? You seem puzzled." Gabriel's eyes light up under his hood as though he realized how obvious he's being. "Uh...just remembering that my friends won't be attending school anymore. That leaves me back to the drawing board. No friends, no one to understand me." Gabriel's confession was rather surprising. Throughout the course of their stay, they were trying to hide or avoid various things to stay out of trouble. Being honest with his old man, was out of character. "Awe, cheer up, son! You have plenty of time to meet new ones, and I'm sure you're not the only one feeling that way either. Just do what you did last time and you'll be alright."

Gabriel hadn't predicted his father to give him solid advice, although if anyone did have experience in the area it would be his dad. "Now, head to the auditorium. I have to see the newbies." A hearty pat to the back, and off Roy went to welcome the freshman. Whereas Gabriel took their seat in the auditorium. His eyes wandered through the crowd of kids, yet none seem to be familiar. He pulls out a thick, crimson book with the title, "Cryptid Encyclopedia" and waited patiently.

Melody

Location: In the Auditorium trying to get an idea of what she should draw

_.jpeg

Melody had been sitting in the Auditorium for about an hour, sure she could've slept in, but when she woke up that morning she couldn't go back to sleep, maybe it was the uneasy feeling that she has had since she left her dad and mom in the Underworld. Their fighting was getting a little excessive and it was driving her crazy, so she left, and now she was back at school. Sure she didn't remember some of the people she had met but this was a chance for her to make new friends. Melody was watching the door, making note of people who walked in.

She had looked down at the book in her lap for a second, trying to find the place she had left off, she had been trying to read the same page for a few minutes, but she couldn't concentrate. So she put away her book, and took out a pencil, and her sketchbook. As she flipped to a new page, which was about two pages from the end of the book, she made a mental note to get a new sketchbook soon. Melody sat there for a minute, trying to come up with an idea of what to draw, but her mind was coming up with nothing.

So she did the only thing she could think of at the current moment, and got up from her seat, making her way to the boy that was reading a book, as she got closer she could make out the title, "Cryptid Encyclopedia." Interesting choice, I think I read that book a while ago... She thought as she sat next to the boy, her sketchbook and pencil still in her hands. "Sorry for bothering you... But I was wondering if you could give me an idea of something to draw." She said and smiled a little, Might as well introduce myself while i'm here, she thought. "I'm Melody by the way... But if you want you can call me Millie." She still had the smile on her face as she talked.

Akuji lay in his bed sleepless. Not once did he feel tired or sleepy, just...dull, as he did nothing more than watch the ceiling from his bed. Before he knew it, he could hear the hallways being filled with walking, indicating that it was now morning.

Suddenly the PA rang with the message "Students of old please make your way to the auditorium to properly greet the school's freshman group."

New students...
Akuji thought.
New Bitches! The voice of his old bodyguard said.
New trouble...The voice of one of his parents said. Whether the voice belonged to his mother or father, he did not know.

The idea of new students reminded him of the days of old when he first came into the school. Though empty as he may be, there were students who were kind to him and were willing to be his friend. Most of them seemed to have no choice but leave the school. He fantasied about what they may be doing now. Wondering if they may have just simply gone to a different school...or died, that's also a possibility.

Akuji went to change his clothes, from simple pajamas into a nice black suit. He lifted his pillow, finding the cute little frog key chain a girl gave him. He doesn't know why, but the keychain was one of the few things that invoked emotions out of him. In this case, it was the feeling of comfort and warmth.

He attached the key chain to the collar of his suit before heading out from his room.

[]

Akuji entered the auditorium and as expected, he was one of the earlier ones.

As he waited, other students entered the room and so did the new students he was not familiar with. One of them seemed to have decided to take asleep next to the fountain. How peculiar, and especially on the first day?

He looked around, seeing all the other students wearing more casual clothing as he stood there with a suit. Perhaps he dressed too formally to such an event. Akuji stood in the corner, analyzing what kind of people the new students are and more importantly, what they are and what they can do.

Aeon Merrak
Location: Dormroom To the Auditorium
Mood: Slightly Tired

Aeon was in his bed peacefully sleeping like a baby. It felt like nothing could disturb him. That moment of peace was soon cut short by the PA blaring across the room. It’s beeping could wake the entire dorm. Aeon groaned as he emerged from his bed. Stretching and rubbing his eyes. He looked around in his room, being reminded of the pile of letters that his parents sends him ever since he enrolled in this school. Merging of the schools will take some time getting used to, but then again it would be nice to see some new faces. He got out of bed and went to clean himself up. First impressions are everything. Once he got finished, he went back to his room. He looked through his closet until he found the perfect outfit; A gray hoodie with a black overcoat to cover the top, rugged jeans, and some good old fashioned running shoes. He then grabbed his ‘blade’ and put it in his bag, along with some other stuff and made his way to the the auditorium.

Once he got to the auditorium, he looked around to see if any newcomers were here. He was eager to see what abilities they have. He decided to take a seat in the middle to front row of the auditorium. He pulled out a book about the various gods and goddesses that were from different pantheons. Might as well keep himself occupied before the new people arrived

"There's probably a code. There's always a code."

There was something about the sky. Sitting on the hill that overlooked her home, Eloise couldn't help but feel drawn to it, watching as the thin clouds slowly drifted apart, presenting the beautiful dome above her. Speaking out to her, the sky seemed to know every one of her thoughts, her dreams, her darkest fears. The sky looked to be but a canvas of light, creating a new picture within seconds. Weaving a story through the delicate clouds, the picture growing beyond the expanse of the sky. The colors splay before Eloise, stunning and simple. Pink hues morph into vibrant purples as they blend with the beautiful blues.

The female found herself getting lost in the sight so perfectly displayed in front of her. She had spent hours getting dressed prior to coming here, not counting her hair. Most days, she would never put so much effort into her look just to stand outside alone and stare at clouds all day. But that was a long time ago; When she had no time to look up and no time to stop. Now she did and there was nothing she had ever seen before that could compare. There were crowds of people parading somewhere around town....probably drunk. If not, then she had a feeling it was just about time. Their excited chattering and the occasional howl of laughter echoed down narrow streets, making their faint cries able to be heard from miles around. Even from the far distance that Eloise sat away from.
After a good hour of enjoying the outside, she'd stood onto her feet and brushed her clothes off. It was just about time for her to head home as staying any later could result in very unsavory consequences.

She stood on the roof of the place she called home, her bright pink hair whipping in the air as she looked down at the world below. A smile spread across her lips and she closed her eyes before leaning off the ledge and letting herself fall.

.
Small green waves wrapped around her wrists as the wind grew heavy around her. And suddenly, she hadn't been falling anymore.
"Two minutes. Twenty due North."
"Heard!"
Gliding through the air, the currents around her shifted to support her. The feeling was too familiar for her to think much of it but it was still thrilling, to say the least. The wind currents carried her through the air even quicker, building up speed while she headed towards the thick forest the voice had pointed her to.
All that she needed to do now was not mess this up.

Hours later she found herself on the hard stone ground of a new place entirely. Staring at the large building, Eloise was unsure of what she was supposed to do from there. Was she meant to just..go in? Was she supposed to wait for other people? Maybe she was supposed to have a buddy with her or some kind of code...Being here now in utter confusion, she began to wish that she had asked for instruction ahead of time....

Fetrius
Location: Auditorium
Interactions/Mentions: Interaction (Gabriel, Deary Deary )

Fetrius opened the auditorium doors with aa slight nudge to the wooden furniture of the door. The hulking Dracon pushed his back claws through the doorway with ease, looking around at the strands of currently attending students with a neutral and tired judgement. His polar opposite eyes looked onwards to the people, one screaming a cold message to all who looked to him, and the other looing lie a ripe flower ready to be picked, shining brilliantly towards all who observed its vivid coloration.

Taking another step, Fetrius set his eyes on the second from the front row. His movements went on and he started walking with the chairs in mind. His face showed little emotion but his physical approach, while not weak, was one of exhaustion. His muscles showed the bare minimum to function and coordinate correctly. This almost instantly gave away the Draconian's lumping mental and physical situation. Even with this though, a show of curiosity came to the skin of Fetrius as he spotted an oddly colored and shaped student sitting. Gone was his need to go to the second row from the front, newly came in the want to talk to the kid who seemed like an enigma of creation, or more over, the end of creation.

Turning to go more directly to the newly found enigma, Fetrius folded his wings closer, as not to seem intimidating. Something you would see from a bird who finally trusts a person. With his folded wings and directed footsteps, Fetrius put on his best "people face" and came to be in front of the radiating pitch black student. Not totally clear to Fetrius as to why he wanted to talk to the curiosity, he did so anyways, chalking it up to a type of intrusive thought turned action. Sticking his cold, sharpened, hand out for a shake, Fetrius also greeted the stranger with a smile, at least the best Fetrius could do, granted his scales seemed almost foreign feeling, with a weird sensation being felt around his now stretcher scales forming a toothy, and more so jarring, smile.

"Hey there. You are a little be of an oddity far as I can see, so I decided to come by and say hello. Figured everyone is gonna have to meet everyone else at some point so why not on good terms?" Fetrius said, his voice much more clear and smooth compared to his early morning rasp and croaks. His tone carrying somewhat of a light welcoming feeling, but a noticeably harsh and cold undertone, not directed at anything. A monotone almost, if monotone could carry thee feeling of exhaustion and regret.

Beep!-
Beep!-
Beep!-

Anne groaned as the sound of her alarm clock echoed throughout her bedroom. She had already been awake for hours just trying to explain to an old friend just why she wanted them to cover for her.

On any other day, Anne would be happy to get up and talk with both the newbies and her fellow upperclassmen but she had stayed awake for far too long the night before and ended up getting only three hours of sleep. She just couldn't find it in her to go today. This barely happened to her if at all in her life so why was it an issue now? Oh, now that question has a simple answer!
Family.
Being born later in the year often make it hard for her family to visit Anne since things are always moving slow by then. Not to even mention how booked and full everything is by the start of the new season but to make up for it, they somehow were planning to come in a week from now for a visit that was apparently pre-approved by the headmistress herself. No matter how much Anne calmly and politely declined the notion, her family (specifically her sister) wasn't taking no for an answer and had already been prepared to start the trip. At the rate that things were going, she knew it would take them less than a week to arrive... And as said before; She was not ready for it.

Don't get me wrong though, Anne loved her family with all her heart and enjoyed the time she spent with them. But she had plans for the next month that she had been looking forward to for over a year. Since she's never actually been part of said plans until now, she wasn't sure if it was a good choice for her personally but she wanted to at least experience the overall feeling of it all before she officially decided what path she wanted to go down after her school days.
Plus it would be a good plan to keep in her back pocket in case she didn't figure out some other place to be soon. She couldn't go check it out however if her family was going to occupy all of her time.

Just then, she heard the announcements blare above her.
"Students of old please make your way to the auditorium to properly greet the school's freshman group."
And just like that, she rolled out of bed after she had shut off the alarm that she now wished to destroy with a sledgehammer.

Dragging herself into the bathroom, Anne stared at her reflection in the mirror with a still hazy head. Managing to shake off her drowsiness enough to keep her eyes open, she went through her usual routine. And though it took her an hour to finally follow through, she was relieved to see others roaming around in the wide room she now stood in.
As per usual, Anne was put together well enough to look rather clean and presentable but anyone who knew her could understand that she wasn't at peak performance. Dark eye bags earned by little sleep faded to nothing but half-lidded and tired eyes gave a similar impression as the first. Neatly combed hair gave a kind of life to her formal attire but its lack of style was rare to see.
Perhaps to an outsider, she'd seem well enough but the very moment that she sunk down into one of the many front row seats of the auditorium she was out like a light.

3:00 AM.

His usual waking time. It had been since... That happened.

They still felt sick in their stomach.
Or were they sick in their head?

...

Gwendolyn let out a defeated sigh. So many years, so many dark memories. But all those fears would be put to ease. He wondered why despite being in school environments and all, he woke up extremely early. They couldn't get over it at all. Despite them being free from the pain of their home, the memories still burned brightly inside their head, echoes of screams continued to fill their small bedroom. God, they hated how minuscule their room felt. Their stomach wouldn't stop feeling all kinds of strange, maybe because they didn't eat yesterday. Or the day before that. They remembered. Jeez, was he still in bed? It's probably time to get up...

Alright, they'll try...

The wolf tried their best to get even out of the blanket, barely achieving to put their foot on the cold floor. Come on, he could do this. He could do this...

3... 2... 1...

THUNK!

As expected, he went headfirst into the wall. It hurt more than he thought it would. One of the things they hated about this small room and how tall they were. If only they couldn't be 8'5... Even for a day.

This only fueled their need for them to have a shrimp-like posture, due to them not being able to fit in most rooms. They growled under their breath. The worse thing that happened so far today, and combined with their morning headaches, it got more putrid.

Fang checked his clock... 3:14 AM. 14 minutes spent whining. So many things they hated about themselves came in like a flood. Their eye twitched, a clear sign of irritation on their part. But maybe they should just spend all that negativity on something positive... Yes, something positive... Fuck! That sounds easier to do than it actually is.

Small clanks could be heard as they made their way to the bathroom to wash their face, maybe take a bath, but he had already done that last night, where he also couldn't sleep, at 12 in the morning... Again...

So, face washing, that should get him up and running in the asscrack of midnight. As he finished rinsing the soap off his face, he took a moment to look at themselves in the mirror. Jesus Christ. He... He looked like a beast. A rancid, disgusting, nauseous beast. The scars covering their face and body made him look feral.

They had a tight grip on the sink, their claws scratching at it, causing that irritating noise that just tipped him off. No matter how hard they tried, this... Wouldn't go away. It probably never will. Before they knew it, their claws were already perforating the sink, they were quick to pull them away at the sudden realization. Why was he so stupid?

They tried their best to shake it off, looking away from the mirror. Maybe he should take them down... All of them. Not only the bathroom one.

How many mirrors were there in their room?

Not a lot.

They barged out of the bathroom, slamming the door shut.

Back at the time, back at the time...

Barely 4 AM. It was a little less early, at least.

He could make breakfast, but they weren't going to head to the kitchen at this time, plus, eating so early made them sick. So about 1 to 2 hours, all by themselves. They've spent more time alone than that anyways. It wouldn't make a change.

Hmmm, maybe get ready for the thing coming up?... Uh, what thing was it, anyway?... They didn't know, forgot again, like most things. But yeah, it was important, which meant: Get dressed.

They opened their closet wide, picking out some of their best and most covering clothes. Cover up cover up cover up.

Gwendolyn tied most of their hair into a small ponytail, still letting some get around. It was his usual hair look. They could feel slightly better with the clothing they chose, it was nice, baggy, and kept him warm. They were very sensitive to anything cold, they absolutely despised ice cream. Most of the time...

Phew, alright, he was ready. They looked down at their legs and rolled up the fabric of the left side, which was where their prosthetic leg was suited. Despite them despising what they were, and probably still are, they didn't quite mind the prosthetic, thinking it looked cool on him, aside from the story behind it. That wasn't cool.

Fang turned his head back to the clock, almost 5. Time sure flew.

The announcement that came after one of their many clock checkings made them jump a little. Alright. This was the ultimate test. They got this headache and their lives on the line. Well, that's how it felt to him.

Clank, clank, clank.

They hesitantly reached for the doorknob, their hand shaking.

The door opened. Not-so-fresh air hit them in the face. The scent brought back... Memories. THeir half-friends and who they used to be, well, some of them. Barely any of them. Maybe only one. But it was nice revisiting them. His hands were still shaking as he closed the door and began heading to the auditorium. Ok. This is going to be ok. Everythings... Ok.

They made their way into it.

DOOM.

The room was massive, it seemed to x3 its size as they looked more at it. Thankfully, not many people were there. They tried their best to not drop their jaw then and there, avoiding causing a scene, but they had figured some eyes were already drawn to him. They were quite the sight to see, after all.

'Alright, stop standing there, stop standing there.' They thought, as their one good leg began to slightly shake, in one step, it seemed as if the whole room got even closer now, he tried his best to reassure themselves that everything was fine and dandy and that no one was staring dead at him.

Great, he froze again. The once hundred seats seemed to turn into 15, then 12, then 10. Everything he had been doing wrong came back to him as this consequence. It wasn't rare that he had these sorts of scenes or plain-out hallucinations. If their legs weren't there he would've probably straight-up died. Fall down dead. On the floor. Dead person on the floor.

After some rather panicked breaths, he strode all the way into the front row. Bad decision, but they were done standing up. The moment they sat down, it seemed as if all of the sweat they were holding fell down like rain. He quickly tried to wipe it off with their hands. (Paws?)

Fang tried to look around, now that their way calmer. He spotted this... Oddly Familiar girl who was a few seats away. Who was all out and sleeping. God. He wished that was him. He couldn't sleep for the life of him, it seemed as if at night everything was always too loud.

They'll try to survive until they're out of any social space.

Emphasize on try.

Still could be the best day ever.

Izuru had awoken that morning to a Pixie sitting on his chest. The little winged creature had determined that bouncing on his torso was the optimal way to awaken her Master. Squinting as the rays of sunlight streamed into his eyes. His first thought was if sleep was still on the table. Though he did remember that being late for his first day at his new school would look pretty bad to Mother and Father. Getting out of bed and placing Pixie on a nearby lamp. She quickly got up and began trying her damnedest to motivate him to get ready. Part of him wondered why he chose to pact with such an excitable little Fairy Clan Familiar. However he was at least happy he was making good time. Cleaning himself up and making breakfast. Izuru scrolled through his messages to see his family was congratulating him on getting in to LAM. Checking to make sure everything was packed and ready. His next step was to make his way over to the campus. Mother had recommended a good driver. However Izuru really didn't want that kind of attention. He'd already found the best route to the school via some preliminary research. So now he just needed to get there.

"Hayataro" uttered Izuru before snapping his fingers. A shape made of scarlet light appeared next to Izuru and Pixie. The red light dissapated to reveal a large canine with a mane of black-red hair. This was Hayato of the Holy Beast Clan. Patting the loyal hound on his white snout. Izuru climbed onto his back, with Pixie holding on to his neck. Leaping from building to building. Hayataro quickly darted into the forest that covered a good chunk of the path leading to the school. Dashing throught the wooded area with incredible speed. It was like Hayataro was a dog on a mission. Since there was still a ways until their destination. Izuru popped on his headphones. The familiar sounds of his music tuned out the world around him. Hayataro vaulted off of a fallen tree to begin traversing the branches of the woods. Pixie was having a blast with the wind flowing through her little hair. The moment his song was finished. Izuru noticed the gates to the academy. Hayataro stopped just short of the gate and bowed his head. Saying farewell to him and Pixie. Izuru was just in time to catch an announcement about old students making their way to the auditorium. Just when he was about to check to see where he fit in. He saw someone that caught his eye.

Pink hair, shapely legs and dressed to impress. Now Izuru wasn't the kind to fall in love at first sight. Though that didn't mean he couldn't be interested in a pretty girl on his first day of school. So now he had to figure out how to approach. Act too bombastic and she'll think he's crazy. Too shy and she'll think he's stand-offish. Scratching the mask covering the lower half of his face. He wondered if she'd find it weird. It was a fashion thing rather than a germ thing. Plus he wasn't the best at talking to people. Deciding that maybe going for a neutral approach was his best bet. Izuru wandered on over to the pink-haired girl. "Hey. You look a bit lost. Need some help?" asked Izuru as he held a hand up

"Are you sure this is safe? We shouldn't be here." Asks the blonde angel as she hovers nervously in the air, since the night before they had begun the initiation trials and at the last minute Cassandra figured it was a good idea to take a detour.

"Relax, it'll be fine." The black feathered lechuza winks her left eye, with a carefree tone in her voice. "Besides, what could ever go wrong?"

"Eternal Damnation, apparently." Says the angel while reading the pamphlet she holds in her hand, Cassie had been given this by some other student and saw a perfect oportunity to skip some corners.

"Oh, would you give that a rest?" She snaps her fingers towards the girl, moving the piece of paper from her hands with the help of her telekinesis. "It's just silly superstition, designed to scare off the pledges."

"If you say so..." Then it happens, not in slow motion like you tend to see in movies but rather in a split second. "Cassie!" She screamed, but it was too late, not even the lechuza could dodge that kind of trap. As the lifeless body fell to the ground only the screaming of Featherine could be heard...

"Students of old please make your way to the auditorium to properly greet the school's freshman group."

Her eyes snap wide open while she screams, a wave of ice freezing everything around her. It takes her a few secods to realize it was all a nightmare... well, if you can call a memory a nightmare. She was about to calm down when she realized what the announcement a few seconds ago meant, she was late. She quickly stood up, moving both palms towards the ice covering her stuff. After a few movements, the ice melted away and eventually the residual water evaporated as well.

It took her a few minutes to get ready but when she was about to walk out of her room there wasn't a single hair out of place in her head, once she opened the door she was a bit surprised to see Cassandra in the corridor about to knock, although the fear and dispair from her dream had faded her image brough some of it back.

The lechuza felt this, telepathy sure is a blessing and a curse at the same time. However, she chose to spare the angel's feelings. "I was about to get myself expelled by breaking your room's security wards!" She jokes, to relieve some of the tension present in the air.

"Please don't, i spent enough time last night preparing the welcoming decorations." She smirks a bit. "It would be a shame if you were to miss the face of our beloved dictator once she realizes..." They both exchange a look and a complicit smile and then fly towards the auditorium together.

Once there they realize a few newcomers have arrived already, so the fly to the stage where they keep hovering a few inches away from it. Featherine is the first to talk, composed smile in her face. "Welcome to our beloved school!" She raises her voice, enough to be heard but without screaming. "My name is Featherine Frost." she then looks towards Cassandra, signaling her to introduce herself as well.

Hello everyone! I'm Cassandra Blair, you can call me Cassie." She gives a little wink to the audience, her tone far less formal than the angel's

After they both introduce themselves as older students from the school and members of the student council, they procede to join hands a say a few words in a lost ancient language. The auditorium begins to shift and twist, revealing the true appearence of the place as it was decorated the night before:

190947252474b0b8184bd9769616c3fc.jpg

Although this was impressive by itself, it was clearly far from over as the girls began chanting once more but now a golden magical circle was sorrounding them. The language itself was already hard to comprehend but the waves of magical energy that made the air vibrate with every syllable they pronounced made it even harder. Then, everything stopped... no sounds, no magic, nothing. For a moment one could even think the spell failed and these two had just embarrased themselves on day 1.

However, a blue light began glowing behind them and the sound of... Dolphins? began echoing across the room, soon after the actual animals began swimming out from the light and across the air they made beautiful displays of swimming stunts.

Chest filled with pride, Feathine say a few words before descending to one of the seats along with Cassandra. "This is but a fraction of what you'll be able to adchieve in here, Cassandra and I welcome you and give you this gift today. Welcome to Larroca Academy!" The dolphins would still swimm around in the air and perform stunts from time to time, they would only go away when the entire welcoming act was over but they wouldn't get in the way of normal procedings, keeping themselves cute but out of reach.

Gab.jpegGabriel was absorbed after two pages. The subject for the chapter revolved around a pale looking beast with eyes shaped as the abyss, and their mouth, sharp and wide enough to swallow it's prey. Their form truly is terrifying, similar to that of what would come close as the Boogeyman. What made things creepy was the fact that there is not much information about the creature as though it remains to be foreseen. While Gabriel soaked deeper into the column of stories, he jolts in his seat the minute a voice called to him. His glowing, green eyes settle on a girl with amethyst eyes. They seemed intimidating to the young Dullahan, but so did everyone else in the room. However, the girl before him gave him a strange vibe. There was something underneath that felt rather strong to him. He couldn't pinpoint exactly what that is, but he wasn't going to be rude about it.

The girl had requested for help on what to draw, and out of the hundreds, she picked him. Gabriel felt rather honored, and slightly nervous. He gave a small chuckle out of a nervous habit whilst attempting to contain himself from seeming creepy. "O-oh...hello! Sure, I don't mind." As the girl plopped right beside him, she proceeds to introduce herself as Melody. She even so much as went on to give him her nickname. While the offer was kind, he opt to keep first name etiquette. "It's a p-pleasure to meet you, Melody, my name is Gabriel." The teen suddenly realized, he could offer ideas with the book in hand. "I'm not so sure what you're searching to draw, but perhaps something that strikes your mood or whatever lies in the encyclopedia?" He shows Melody the possibilities for her to choose from. Whether or not she accepts is up to her.

Not long did another step forward to greet the Dullahan, only the stranger is not human, but rather a dragonoid. Gabriel's nerves begin to act up again as dracon towers over them with their wings folded, emitting a cold aura much like standing near a refrigerator. Gabriel gave a chuckle and covers his mouth in hopes of calming themselves. He notices the newcomer offering the best possible smile he could muster and offered their hand to shake yet their presentation was rather...different compared to what they were saying. Their greeting held some truth that Gabriel could not deny and instead admire than take offense.

Without waiting a second longer, Gabriel shakes their hand with a firm grip. "Hello, I've never been called "odd" before, but I appreciate your honesty. My name is Gabriel, friend. What's yours?" He inquired before moving his bag out of the seat beside him. "Would you like to join us? I'm helping Melody here what to draw." Although it may not be something to be too proud of, Gabriel being of service to anyone, is worthwhile to him.

Fetrius looked to the shadowy figure and also to the girl near him as he mentioned the name her. He wasn't too caring where he sat in reality so his judgement only lasted momentarily before he plopped his butt down. With his scales rustling against the wood and his sword having a clank against the seat as its shaft and spine rattled lightly against the seats hard material. Pushing the sword down and against the seat to quiet the tapping, Fetrius looked back to Gabriel. "My name is Fetrius. Dracon if it wasn't a little obvious from my appearance. I don't mind sitting although I don't know how much help I will be as an artists apprentice, not much going on for me to give any worthwhile input." Fetrius smiled at the end, one to just message that he was telling the truth, however rough or rude it may seem to say he doesn't hold any worthwhile input for the artist. With that though, Fetrius breathed lightly and looked back to Gabriel "Well odd isn't a bad thing among all these vastly different creatures and people, but you are odd to me, with all honesty. You are one I haven't seen in anything but wraiths and passing souls. I would consider your oddity a gift if anything."

Fetrius smiled and put his hands on the seat next to his thighs, leaning back into the chair to try and find a relaxing recline in the very rigid chair. His wings shuffled and his scales rubbed once more, making a noticeable and from the rough edges dragging over the fabric, giving a ting and scratch every now and again. This wasn't abnormal for the Dracon, but to others it almost sounded like the scaled beast was ripping open a couch. Finding the spot he wished to have, Fetrius sighs in relief and looks back to Gabriel much more nonchalantly. " I think your oddity will make you a lucky man with some lucky lady's. You definitely give some curiosity to your character and self, just by exist sting." Fetrius's honesty and brutal up frontness seems to be a very thick layer of conversation and almost a deceiving lawyer. His words true but harsh in a way that made it seem like Gabriel was trash to Fetrius, true or not. This was not in insult, but in trust for honesty and a general feeling the person need it.

"Welcome to our beloved school!" Akuji overheard a familiar voice. "My name is Featherine Frost."

He turned towards where the voice emitted and saw Featherine and Cassandra. He knew about them of course. Featherine was an angel and Cassandra was a wizard? witch? someone that can wave their hands around and make stuff happen. He remembered when he had an encounter with Cassandra when she was just a ghost or phantom being. She gave off an odd vibe to Akuji then and now...she was still an odd character.

They started a performance, and the room was shaken as it revealed its true form. It seems the two had decorated the place. It was beautiful for sure...but compared to the snowy wonderland they had performed last year, this was a bit amateur.

Of course, he thought too soon, as a wave of blue aura exploded that emitted dolphins to fly around the anthurium. It was beautiful and evoked an odd feeling within Akuji. This was a feeling he hadn't felt before, it evoked as though he witnessed the two's magic for the first time in his first year. It seemed to proper feeling was...nostalgia.

“It seemed they have outdone themselves this year.” He said to a boy close to him, who was reading a book regarding various Gods. Though he had rarely interacted to the boy, he did know that he originated from the same school as Akuji did. “Only a year time and yet they have excelled from a simple snow parade to…well this flashy show. ”

God damn it, who designed these horrid seats?

Gwendolyn thought in frustration while he tried to get comfortable and shift around on the small seat that just happened to be a little tight for them. Another downside of being abnormally giant. The wolf tried his best to keep its calm smile and demeanor while taking out piled-up stress onto the cinema-like seat, occasionally hurting itself with their violent moving. He began letting out small growls as more failure presented itself with trying to get comfortable.

Alright.

Maybe they should stop.

Despite the seat ever so squeezing at their arse, Fang kept his calm and carried on, just trying to take the squeeze as something mild and nothing he should fuss about. Maybe. No promises they won't go feral. Deep breaths, deep breaths. Everything's going to get better after this... And...

NOPE.

Just when he was finally relaxing, the whole auditorium shifted and morphed into a brand new one, the sudden movement and flashing colors made whatever they had eaten last week come back up his throat, they tried hard to keep the vomit inside, using what little was left of their willpower to swallow the acids. That only made it much worse, but they were desperately avoiding causing a scene, seeing as everything calmed down after the 2 crazy bird ladies on the stage chanted some spell. Hopefully, and MAYBE nothing else happens. He already avoided lashing out 2 times, they did NOT need a third.

But alas, only the worst of happenings occur to him. Of course, they do.

They always do.

The violent winds slapping his face with vigor, disgusting sea creatures rising from the blood-red curtains, everything seemed wet, damped, ugly. Everything was too loud. Those sea-dwellers wouldn't stop screaming. Out of pain, he hoped. Dolphins were creatures that disgusted Fang to the core. He couldn't stand their cries, those of which ringed in his ears, causing a horrid noise to resonate inside his head, making his eye twitch with anger and annoyance. What a great demonstration. Just... Excellent. So happy to be here.

What's worse? Those stupid slobs of an animal stayed in the air, at least not close to them. That would cause a complete disaster. But it already was, anyways.

That was... A rollercoaster of emotions. And one of the bad ones, the fast, bumpy ones.

They sighed, at last free from the presentation, seeing as everyone settled back down and chatted. Fuck. He should probably do the same, they would look like an absolute weirdo after their rages. They gripped their hands tightly, thinking of something to do that didn't make them seem even worse. Gwendolyn looked around, before spotting that familiar girl from earlier.

Oh yeah, she existed.

Maybe going over to her and seeing if she was the person they remembered could work. Yeah. They'll just do that.

They stood up, nervously shifting seats until they were 1 seat away from hers, their breathing heavy.

Fang nervously tapped the girl's shoulder with his hand, careful with the claws.

"U-Um... You're... You-You're Anne, right?..." They muttered nervously, their voice husky and quivered. God help them. Finger's crossed she wakes up.

Peacefully resting in the soft folding seat beneath her, Anne's head dipped to the side so it lightly touched the armrest on her left. Her arms, along with her hands, were comfortably tucked away into her body as were her legs. A soft and nearly silent snore sounded from her while sleep began to fully take over her conscious mind.
"U-Um... You're... You-You're Anne, right?..."
Soft taps to her shoulder followed. While her mind had just begun to drift, it hadn't yet fully wandered. Her state of awareness was still very dull with a sluggish lack of sleep but still sharp enough to pick up on an approaching stranger. One that intended to interact with her, as it seemed. Very slowly, Anne opened a wary eye to look at the thing that had disturbed, what could have been, a very pleasant nap; Only to wince at the almost mystical lighting around the stage that in turn reflected down onto the first row of seats where she happened to be sitting. A few seconds of fast blinking later and she'd had both eyes open and focused on her reason for initial waking. Dragging her eyes up high enough to meet the very...furry thing's nose, she then pursed her lips. Her eyes finally were able to adjust to the light even after the few painful moments that resulted from being exposed to it so suddenly.
She wanted to snap at them to go away and leave her be or something else of the sort but she instead found herself wide-eyed.
A realization turned the switch in her mind on.
She knew this person!

"And you must be Fang right?"
Quietly confirming his assumption as to who she was, she then tried her hand at a smile. Though it was a genuine one, it was tired and sparing. It was nice to have someone around here with whom she'd already had a pre-existing acquaintance with. Even with it was a flimsy one.
"Excuse my lack of enthusiasm here but I'm a bit exhausted."
A hand moved from its tucked position on her stomach and patted the cushion of a nearby chair on her right.
"You can sit for a bit if you want but just...Don't be loud...Please..."

"There's probably a code. There's always a code."

Standing outside alone and without a clue, Eloise felt both confused and embarrassed. She'd been completely comitted to figuring out what it was that she was missing but the brain-wracking thought made it look as though she wanted to destroy the front entrance of the main building. And to an extent, if it got her inside, then she was more than game to do so. Somehow, she was still ignorant of the fact that the doors had been already unlocked and could be easily swung open with a simple push. Even despite their colossal size.

Before she could be given the appropriate amount of time to fully think through her plan to blow up school {like any reasonable person would} the voice of another made her jump out of her skin. Not being able to hear their approach on the concrete walkway, it was only part of Eloise's natural instinct to be put on guard by the unexpected presence. However, to her surprise, it had been no one else but a boy who looked to be younger than herself. If older, then not by much.

Admittedly, near-black hair with pale skin and dulled golden eyes made for a pretty face- By popular preference.
She didn't bother dwelling on the single description for too long as she found herself silently staring at him in deathly silence. Now, Eloise didn't get out very often but she was mostly sure that silent stares toward people who offer help weren't the most appropriate nor welcoming thing to do. Two brief blinks and she was brung back to reality. Hoping that her lack of response hadn't been too strange, she tried to fix what might have been a minor {major} fumble.

"Thanks so much for offering!" Eloise then released a small and airy laugh. "It's nothing big really but do you...Maybe have any clue how to get inside?" Her eyes narrowed for a moment at the male while her hands came up to lightly rest on her hips. "Wait- You're a student as well, right?"

Hearing a genuine laugh that wasn't at his expense was a good start by Izuru's standards. Hopefully the pair of them could get to know one another better. Although first she likely wanted to hit up orientation. As a transfer student, he also needed to head on over soon. Otherwise he'd probably get an earful from someone. Holding up his phone with a detailed map of campus. Izuru gave some basic directions. Though he also chose to walk her part of the way seeing as she'd looked a bit lost. It was a bold move on his part but Izuru thought this pink haired girl shouldn't be left aimless. "There was a map among the documents I was sent but it was too barebones for me. I prefer something a lot more accurate if I'm gonna need to start figuring out how to get to my classes" said the youth, comparing the basic campus map to his own incredibly detailed image. Prior to his first day he'd sent a familiar or two ahead to get a lay of the land. That way his own attempts to figure where things were located wouldn't hinge solely on guesswork. Since he was transferring in. Izuru would likely need to meet up with the other freshmen. Plus he'd also need to find an available seat. After that he'd need to make some friends. Which was the hardest part. Even if he looked like someone who had no trouble befriending people. Izuru had trouble with interpersonal relations. Plus he had difficulties with interacting with other people. Approaching the entrance with time to spare. Izuru realized he hadn't introduced himself.

"Since we'll probably be seeing each other around campus. I'm Izuru Kamukura, a transfer from Coral Coast Academy. I hope we get along and I also hope I can get your number at some point" uttered the young mage as he pulled down his mask to reveal his smile. Moving into the shadows to join up with the other freshmen. Izuru pulled out his phone and donned his headphones. Seemed like he caught the tail end of a masterful work of magic. He didn't regret meeting that girl though. They say first days are for meetings. That and dropping your breakfast on people. Which was avoided since Izuru already ate his breakfast...

Gab.jpeg As dragonoid took a seat, their squirming went unnoticed. Gabriel hadn't considered how difficult it would prove for them to situate. Gabriel was glad when they showed no sign of despair on their face. Once they were comfortable, he gave his name and species. The Dullahan would have never been able to identify their acquaintance on their own with their lack of social skills. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Fetrius. I'm not used to different species when you're isolated to your own, so having a chance to meet someone new and learn about them is always surprising to me." He chirped. "It's fine. I understand your concern, but any help will be greatly appreciated."

Gabriel started to feel a tad bit relaxed as the two conversed. He could sense Fetrius attempts at being genuine which makes it easier to trust. Their honesty became bolder than expected when the Dracon explained that being odd isn't a bad thing even among various creatures, and instead seen as a gift. The Dullahan wasn't quite sure how to take Fetrius' words. All of Gabriel's life has been in captivity, longing to belong as equals regardless of appearance. The fact that he's told that he is somehow different among the monsters made him feel a little somber. He knew he shouldn't take it to heart, but perhaps he should use it as a good thing. It was clear that's what Fetrius was trying to say. Gabriel rubs his nape bashfully. "Th-thank you. I do see many supernatural beings than I do the common beasts." His glowing eyes shift back to his acquaintance realizing he had yet to reveal his race.

"I forgot to mention what I am as an exchange for telling me yours. I am a Dullahan. Many call me a servant of death or a fairy, although I'm not small nor have wings." He chuckled on the last part finding it amusing that the encyclopedia had categorized him as a fairy by humans. Whatever brought them to conclude in such a decision is beyond him. Soon, Fetrius mentioned about Gabriel's mysterious air attracting ladies to which he couldn't understand. Attraction has never been something that occured to him, having not made a deep connection with anyone as opposed to focused on gathering knowledge of his enviornment. "I'm assuming having a mysterious nature is a good thing too? Why would I attract girls when I haven't spoken to them?" He truly was clueless with romance and what Fetrius was getting at making him more curious.

Fetrius looked over to the misty creature, attentively listening to his explanation of his creaturehood and makeup. The mention of a designation of a fairy for the "Death's Apprentice" looking student had made him chuckle to himself and think to himself and agree that the arbitrary human designation of things is rather off when it comes to so many different creatures. With this though, Fetrius could see the molding of a confused response on his comment on the Dullahan's face and even mind to some extent. This was almost amusing to Fetrius as he thought to himself "This kid truly is clueless isn't he. Hilarious. Gotta make sure he isn't gonna end up some ego bloated mold. Don't need more of those." The thought quickly ended as soon the neighbor's thoughts came to fruition and were spoken out.

With Gabriel's clueless question, Fetrius couldn't help but chuckle and smile, not in a belittling way but one of an admiration of an almost childlike innocence. Responding to the Dullahan, Fetrius shifted a little more to present his coat covered chest to Gabriel and give more attention physically towards him, reassuring the Dracon's seriousness. "Well, people in general are afraid of the unknown, they fear it. People don't like to think they are something miniscule and other things are out of their know. But they also love it. Like sour foods or spicy meals. Its unpleasing but pleasantly different. And obviously if you are into males or people who just don't know what they are or aren't anything, that's fine too. My point still stands, curiosity of the unknown trumps the fear of it. And you my friend, are unknown. So enjoy it. Make whatever name you want for yourself. Hate it, love it, you are a clay mold and this place is your museum to show off your shape." Fetrius's poetic and long winded explanation seemed almost envious of Gabriel's position, but also reassuring in mood and tone, hoping to convey that no matter how odd Gabriel may be, it is truly to his benefit.

Verdana was very tired after the night before. She had spent almost all night on a boat in the middle of the Red sea; the sky was brilliant with constellations so clear she could trace them out. When she said she wanted to travel the world she was not kidding. The small petite girl traveled all the way from Australia to the farthest parts of Siberia. Who knows where she got the money for it. She had spent so long hopping from place to place; she even started a blog "The travels of a ring-tailed cat". In that time she picked up photography and scrapbooking; she was very happy with her life. Still she was missing her family, and she wanted someone to share her travels with. When she had gotten the message from Larocca, she was ecstatic. Going back to the school could give her more opportunities. More opportunities to continue travelling. More opportunities to find friends. More opportunities to find her family again. Still the date of the opening of the school was far off, so she went to Yemen to pass the time. She had gotten so caught up in her festivities that she had almost forgotten all together; it was hard to manage things without Kraw around. Still she made a flight that morning. When she arrived at the school it was already well past time, so she used her abilities to turn the clock back a tiny bit.

Her dark blue eyes looked over the looming building; she was kind of intimidated by the grand scale of things. People bustling this way and that, already knowing where to go. She herself was quite lost. It was nothing she wasn't used to already though. She had been at one of these schools once before; although it did close rather quickly. Shaking her head she took her one small bag of luggage and walked forward. Her head tilted upward as she walked; Verdana's eyes drooped from the use of her abilities. So instead of focusing on the beautiful place she tried to find where to go. That's when a voice came over the speakers, Verdana jumped. "Students of old please make your way to the auditorium to properly greet the school's freshman group."

So according to what she was told; Verdana tried to find the auditorium. Not even bothering to put down her bag. This was her chance; there was a possibility that Kraw would be here. After so long she was so eager to see him, but there was still a chance that he wouldn't be. Still she didn't let that get her down. Her feet hurried to find the place where the other students would be. Then there it was, the auditorium. She took a breath and walked in. Her eyes scanning over the small crowd trying to find a certain someone. Upon seeing that her brother wasn't there her attitude dropped. She tried to cheer herself up saying There's still a chance he might come later! Yeah... he'll come later... right? She tried to clear her head of these thoughts and held her bag a little tighter.

Verdana approached the crowd but didn't get too close; sitting on the outside of all the hustle and bustle. She paid no mind to the other students there familiarizing themselves. Her eyes were on the auditorium door. She was still hoping that he'd come. It wasn't long until two girls went onto the stage introducing themselves. They caught Verdana's attention they seemed so.... different. A few moments passed and they seemed to be casting some sort of spell; after the most strange thing happened. There were dolphins! It was quite odd. Still it was quite amusing, and produced a light giggle from the girl. She lifted her hand to them. Verdana had seem dolphins so many times before, so they were no mystery to her. She loved them in fact; she had even become quite obsessed with them for a while. Taking a posting pictures of when she swam with them in New Zealand. A small smile placed itself on her features. Verdana had a good feeling about this year.

Steady now, steady now.

Fang was quick to remove their hand from the girl's shoulder as she moved around, wiping it on their pants as if they just touched something dirty. They patiently waited for an answer, staring into her soul. He carefully moved his face away seeing as Anne began to wake up, gripping his hands, hoping that he was still recognizable. Should they fix their hair?... No, no, that's too much.

And... Huzzah. She knew them. They sighed with relief, and what a long sigh it was, it felt as if his lungs were expanding from how tense everything seemed to be. But it was all good now, maybe. Not really. But one can only hope. They let out a weak, closed smile seeing the girl smile too. It was rather fake, but they did feel happy. It had... Just been a long time since they've actually smiled, they'd lost their charm a little.

They nodded, understanding how tired the girl felt, they had it worse anyways.

Gwendolyn could feel another smile rising from their face hearing the offer coming from Anne. Sure, why not? He wasn't feeling awkward enough. They did their best to move seats with the least noise possible, only the light wooshing of air being audible, darn the tail wags! Everything got a little less tense the moment they arrived at the seat. They gulped, hands gripping themselves again. The wolf knew that Anne mentioned not being loud, and she was probably drifting to sleep again, but he HAD to make small talk, they couldn't fall asleep for the love of them.

"...Howw've you h-bein'?" He was faulty with his words, muttering in a slow, low fashion.
