James Rogers was thrown through a wall by a brainwashed Hulk as it roared. James groaned and got up activating his energy shield by his gauntlets and held it ready to throw at Hulk’s eyes to blind him temporary. “Bruce! Snap out of it!” James yelled at him but the response he got was Hulk charging James with a loud roar. James threw his energy shield at Hulk’s eyes causing him to cover them and yelp not looking to where he was going giving James time to dodge. James was not sure how to take down Banner but he knew he needed to find this Maxine person before Hydra did but also the Hulk would tear down the city if he did not try and stop him. James was at a crossroad of decisions but ultimately he chose to stop the hulk.

“Lets go you green giant,” James challenged the hulk who was still rubbing his eyes in pain and took a running start to jump onto his back and grab his neck. The hulk roared and tried to shake him off but James held on and tried to squeeze his neck pressure points but the Hulk was making it hard by running through the streets of New York and tramping over cars. “Bruce stop!” James was trying to get to him but it was not working as Hydra had brainwashed the hulk well.

“Must find magic girl,” Hulk repeated and threw James off of his shoulder into a van and kept running. James groaned and watched the Hulk run off and laid on the ground wincing as his ribs were broken and it hurt to move. He would be healed by his healing factor but it would take a while to be able to walk so he just laid there glancing at the sky.

He then lifted his hand and grabbed onto the bumper of a car and slowly pulled himself up yelping at the pain and sat himself on the front of the car. He knew that was stupid and he could have died and would get a lecture from Jarvis about it later.

"Yeah Mom, I know. No, I'm not on a da-Mom I'm kinda busy right now! Yeah, sorry, sorry...I'll be home for dinner...yeah...love you too...bye."

Ben let out a sigh, putting his phone into his backpack as he leaned back. He knew being a superhero was hard but...Jesus. It was even harder when you had a life outside it. He crossed his arms, looking down at the long drop below him. Oh yeah...he'd almost forgot he was stuck to a building. Kinda hard to swing and talk on the phone, though only marginally better than texting and swinging. He still felt the sting of that billboard. He pulled his mask down, and was just about to head back to his dorm and rest up whenhe felt...something. A slight tingle, a chill. The hairs of his neck stood up. This prompted him to instinctively look for trouble and...well, he found it.

A few blocks away, he saw what looked like a few cars go airborne. "Shit!" He pushed himself off the wall, propelling himself forward, ujsing the momentum to land on a street lamp and launch himself even farther, before using his webs to zip himself the rest of the way. This wasn't good...

He landed on a nearby rooftop just in time to see that familiar bulky green frame charge off, but his path opf destruction was plain to see. "Crap....hope nobody got hurt." He surveyed the scene, seeing what looked like a fellow hero leaning against a pretty messed up van.

Ben landed on top of the van with a thud, in the trademark spider like position as he asked, "So uh...guessing the Jolly Green Giant isn't so jolly anymore? Maybe...Un-Jolly? No, that's bad...anybody get hurt?"

Something was up, and Nyx really didn't like it. She'd just been snacking, if one could call shoving an entire 14 inch pepperoni pizza down her throat snacking, perched on the corner of a rooftop when she'd heard it. An ear splitting, angry roar, that set her heart racing, if it wasn't already naturally fast anyway. Finishing the rest of her food in a blur, she was gone in seconds, throwing the pizza box in the bin as she passed one on her way down the side of the building.

Thankfully, she'd already been in her suit. She never really took it off, not when she was out, since danger could come at any moment and she didn't like to ruin her favourite shirts by accidentally setting light to them. After all, she was struggling to keep up with rent as it was, seeing as she was basically feeding a whole family just to keep herself running. She didn't have to look far to spot the culprit, but it seemed someone else was already the distraction for the Hulk. Which was weird... wasn't the Hulk a good guy?

She could worry about that later though. Instead of focusing on the fight, hoping the guy had it for now, she focused on the civilians. With a blur of blue she was gone, sparks trailing in her wake as she grabbed civilians, hands careful to protect their bodies from the force of her running, and dashed them to safety. It left them confused, but unharmed, the friction of only running a relatively short distance to safety not enough to cause damage.

She took everyone she could, making sure everyone was safe and, if they were hurt, making sure they were left in good hands. Only then did she turn her mind back to the fight, only to realise it was over. It had been fast, seeing as she'd been running hard, but even at super speed it had taken time to get people to safety. But once she realised there was someone on the ground, she dashed over, skidding to a halt with flailing arms for a moment, losing balance and almost toppling.

By the time she righted herself, another man was there. He looked kinda like Spider-Man, but Nyx wasn't exactly in the know when it came to other heroes. Her phone was the only tech she could afford, that and her suit, and her phone was basically a brick. Glancing between the two, she moved closer to the guy on the ground, "I...I think I got everyone to safety. Not many bad injuries. You look like the worst..." She stumbled along her words, peering at the guy sitting against the car.

James looked at the web slinger and was going to laugh but his ribs still hurt so that was not an option. He nodded and glanced around at all the people screaming and running in all directions, “Not sure, it seems he is only after one person…a magic girl. When I was riding on him he said that.” James was confused on who that was and why Hulk was not going crazy, “I have a hunch he is under a spell or some device.”

Then James saw a girl speeding towards them, “That answers your question then,” He looked at Ben and back to the girl who said he looked the worse for injuries and frankly he was glad that he was inured instead of a person. “I’ll be fine,” James turned to them, “we are going to have to knock him out which is easier said then done but if we all work together then we can.” James got off the van yelping from the pain and.grabbing his dad’s shield that was on the floor. (Changing his shield to the shield in his picture) James stumbled a little forward, “All I need is one good throw….it could knock him clean out.”

James then fell to his knees and yelped, “Fuck…give me a minute…” James fought every bone in his body to stand upright and the stubborn son of Captain America bit his lip to hold the pain in. He wondered where the hulk had ran off to but knew it was going to be easy to follow him because of the trail he left. He was going to need Nyx and Ben’s help though so he turned back to them, “Lets go guys.” James then started to limp as fast as he could towards a trail of destruction.

Elise had been going about her normal life or as normal as having the a spirit of vengence in you let you be. Normal jobs were hard to hold down hearing all the sins of those around you and being urged to punish them really made working with strangers hard. Well that whole being part supernatural thing had sone upsides like saving on the food bill. Either way that Normal life or what passed for it, today that was playing her guitar for donations as she was going to need rent soon enough.

That was all stopped as a rampaging green giant ran by with some kid on him shouting something. Elise could feel the spirit roaring to be let out to go after whoever was causing issues. Elise more than used to the spirit easily pushed it down years ago she would have given in but that was long ago. Elise watched as things just seemed to happen the little spider man and sone speedster all met up where the kid fell off the hulk.

Elise really didn't know what was going on but something was happening. That was for sure abd a ghost rider couldn't just let it go there were souls to punish. Elise got up from where she had been sitting and walking over to the small group. She didn't bother to change forms it was fun to see how people reacted to it.

As she walked to the group Elise lit a cigarette and took a puff " Well what do we have here the avengers ?" Elise chuckled "Can't be them I don't think capt would try to go after the hulk when a kid can out run him" she joked it might be a bit mean and right now she looked normal but Elise wondered what these kids were made of. "Shouldn't you let daddy handle this kid?"

Nyx startled when the guy on the floor assured her he'd be fine and attempted to get up. She grimaced as he fell back to his knees, and as another girl approached she slipped herself under James's arm, taking some of his weight when she noticed he was limping. She glanced to Ben, uncertain about what she should do, but ultimately decided to gently try and slow James down before he ran off to hurt himself, "Shouldn't you stay here? You're not going to be able to fight much in this condition. I...I'm sure we can handle it." She assured, though she was nervous. The Hulk may not be as fast as her, but he could hit hard. One wrong move, and she'd be crushed.

Of course, then the other girl came closer, and Nyx lifted her head to stare at her for a moment, tilting her head. She frowned, but with her mask covering the lower half of her face it was only her eyebrows that moved, "I don't see you helping." She returned, "Besides... If we can help, we should. Except..." She glanced to James again, "You really should stay here. He could crush you." She stressed, trying to get him to sit.

Most mornings, Sophia was awoken to the sound of light New York traffic, rays of sun peeping through her blinds, maybe Wong with a cup of tea. This morning, she wasn't so lucky- car alarms blared, people screamed, and roars that were definitely not human shook the entire Sanctum. Sophia shot out of bed, nearly collapsing on the floor before remembering to make her legs, well, work. It was a conscious effort to keep herself standing, which is why she often preferred simply using the Cloak of Levitation, which was now resting comfortably on her shoulders. She barely even had time to brush her hair and teeth before shooting down the stairs and out into the busy New York street. She watched in shock as the Hulk ran through the streets, upturning cars and ripping chunks off buildings, and Sophia could almost make out what seemed like a teenage boy riding him and that new spider-kid swinging behind them. A blur of silver seemed to be rushing people out of harm's way, and for a second Sophia wished she would've just stayed in bed. When the boy who'd been riding the Hulk was flung onto a nearby van, Sophia began seriously considering the option.

Just then, Sophia heard the Hulk say something that made her blood run cold. Must find magic girl... he couldn't mean me, right? Sophia had been Sorceress Supreme for just under a month- whatever the Hulk wanted with a 'magic girl', he would've had plenty of opportunities to get her before now. In all honesty, Sophia had no idea what the Avenger would've needed with a sorceress- she'd stuck to dealing with the occult threats of the world, and the more worldly dangers she left to the less-capable heroes. Clearly, though, if the Hulk had gone as far as to go on a rampage through Greenwich Village, it couldn't mean anything good.

With a wave of her hand, Sophia's pajamas transformed into the sorcerer's robes she called her 'costume'. Just as she began surveying the area, a piece of rubble detached from a nearby building, hurling towards the van- and herself. Sophia put her hands out, eyes wide as she cast a Tao Mandala large enough to keep the rubble from hitting any of them. While she'd been thinking, the group had been joined by another girl, throwing sarcastic remarks at the still-wounded boy. The speedster was there as well, along with the spider-kid from earlier. It was only then that Sophia noticed the bright metal shield the boy had reached out to grab. Avengers, indeed, she couldn't help but think.

"No, what we have here is a rampaging Hulk destroying New York City," she replied sharply to the red-haired girl. "and we're standing here instead of attempting to stop it." Sophia glanced across the gaggle of young adults. There was the red-haired girl, of course, whose only abilities Sofia could discern visibly was being a nuisance- she did have a vague magical energy about her, though Sophia couldn't quite put her finger on what it was. Then there was the speedster and the spider, both of which still seemed to be in fighting shape. The only one truly down was the Rogers boy, though if his parentage was worth anything, he'd be back on his feet sooner rather than later. Sofia lifted her feet off from the ground, the Cloak of Levitation flapping in the wind behind her.

"If we want to stop anyone from dying, I suggest we start now."

" Dealing with hulks isn't really my area of expertise speedy " Elise said to tge masked girl though her tone didn't hold any malice it was more matter of fact and almost relaxed.

Elise did really deal in saving lives and despite the rampage the hulk was Still the hulk and green boy was not exactly the evil beast many saw him as. Elise knew this from her ability yo know the sins of others abd while the hulk had some she had seen worse in an average Joe. The hulk regardless of whatever was messing with him was a good guy at his core and tended to try not to kill unless attacked. This in a way let Elise relax not expect more than injuries.

Another girl came up and decided she knew best it seemed. Her tone at least to Elise seemed to put her in the know it all category who thought themselves right on all things at first glance. "Well you are the magical girl git any pixie dust to put him to sleep?" Elise joked though she doubted others would see her humor they were to caught up in the hulk is dangerous. "Hulks don't stop till they get where they are going how about speedy there starts by clearing his parth and you magic away the kids boo boos" Elise suggested only half serious no one ever stopped the hulk you just caused him to break more stuff as you fought. Let him get what he wanted then stop him away from others.

God it was hell. Maxine was aware of H.Y.D.R.A. and what they did. Her mother had told her about them and her days when they captured her and her uncle Pietro. The possibility that they would come after was always on the table, it was one of the reasons she wanted to learn how to fight in the first place, but she never thought they would find her out in the country. With her mother out of town, and about a small army, she was taken into custody. It’s been days now, days locked in a cell. She tried to get out, but her cell negates her magic whenever she attempts to get out. So she was stuck here in a plain white shirt and sweats, it felt like a prison outfit, it probably was. It was even worse when they had to transport her around, they put her in a straitjacket to ensure she can’t use her magic.

She was been here for about a week now, her mother should be home by now, and notice she is missing. She was playing with some with some wooden blocks, using her magic to make them float around and things. “Maximoff, get up! We’re transporting you to a new facility.” A guard banged on her cell door to get her attention. A new facility, she knew nothing wouldn’t change. Sighing in defeat, she got up and went to the door, it would be straitjacket time. It took a while to get it on, they made sure that it was always secure so she couldn’t move her hands. She looked down at her necklace, surprisingly they didn’t take it yet, maybe they didn’t know it was actually the Mind Stone. They shoved her in an armored van, “Move an inch Maximoff, and I’ll rip that pretty necklace off you neck.” The driver threatened. That made her eyes go wide. ‘Did they know that this is the Mind Stone? Or did they think it was sentimental?’ Maxine thought. But either way, she was determined not to lose her necklace.

James rolled his eyes at Elise’s sarcastic remarks aimed at him and ignored it not knowing what her deal was. Before James could come up with a comeback another girl who wore a cloak of levitation who kept a piece of rubble away from them. Now she looked like Doctor Strange’s daughter with the cloak and James was wondering if she could calm Banner with her magic. Nyx was still helping him stand upright and wanted him to stay back which he did not want to do but he might have to stay and heal up for a bit.

“Hey can you use a spell on Banner?” James asked Sofia hoping the girl would say yes she did know a spell that would work. But if she was anything like her dad then she would have come up with a solution in no time. He knew Doctor Strange was a smart man but also arrogant and reckless which there was a good chance his daughter was too since it looked like he trained her. “Also who are you guys?” James asked realizing he did not know anyone here, “my name is James and you can probably guess who my father is.” James knew he was not subtle at all about that and sat down against the side of the van recently listening to the speedster.

Hulk dashed through the streets of New York creating a giant path of destruction with helicopters after him. Shield had began extracting people from the city as they would try to contain Hulk until they could calm him down. Hulk growled at a Shield quinjet that was hovering above him and threw a piece of rubble at it before the agents on board could shoot him with heavy tranquilizers.

The quinjet went down as the rubble hit it and the agents were screaming for their lives. It would be the end for them and many others if the Hulk was not stopped from his rampage.

Sophia scoffed when the red-haired girl asked her if she had any 'pixie dust'. She put her index and middle fingers together and lit up her sling ring, sending a shower of sparks over the girl's face. It'll sting, but not cause any permanent damage. Maybe. "If I'm this 'magic girl' Hulk is talking about, we have much worse problems than just him destroying upper New York." Sophia turned on her heel, the Cloak blowing fallen leaves towards the teens' direction. She surveyed the trail of damage the Hulk caused- she wouldn't normally deal with these sort of matters, but the Hulk was rapidly becoming a threat to the Sanctum- and her own safety. "And, no offense, but if this is a 'magical' matter, then it's a bit above your paygrade."

Sophia rolled her eyes when the girl felt the need to start giving orders, too. "That's not how magic works," she muttered, replying to the suggestion of her somehow healing the boys' wounds. She could probably give him a walking boost while he healed, but she doubted she'd have the energy to support both of their walking and fight the Hulk simultaneously. Healing him outright was out of the question- she could try to use the Time Stone to reverse his injuries, but Sophia had no idea what else it would affect. If the kid really was Cap's son, it was probably better to just let him heal on his own. "Listen, kid, let the grown-ups handle this. If you're just gonna be a thorn in everyone's side, it's best you leave now."

Right then, the kid asked if she could cast a spell on Banner to attempt to calm him down. "On him? No," she laughed. "I could probably cast a spell to restrain him, but calming him down completely is a different story." To punctuate her point, Sophia cast a small Tao Madala in her palm and spun it like a disc. "I could get close enough to completely put my palm on his chest- and that's a big if- I could knock Banner's astral form out of the Hulk, try and find out who he's looking for - and why. It's not gonna stop the Hulk completely, but it'll shake him up- and give Bruce a chance to regain control."

When the kid asked who the rest of the group were, Sophia took it upon herself to introduce herself first. "Sophia Palmer. Sorceress Supreme." She said it in a dismissive tone, trying to make it seem as though it wasn't some big accomplishment- despite being the youngest Sorcerer Supreme in history. It wasn't something she really enjoyed talking about, and tried to gloss over it as much as possible. "James Rogers, I assume?" She glanced over the boy- despite his darker hair, the resemblance was there. "Where's your father? This seems like a somewhat urgent matter."

Right as Sophia finished her sentence, the Hulk threw a large chunk of rubble towards an approaching Quinjet. Sophia launched off the ground, flying towards the jet, but was too late as the rubble struck the craft, bringing the whole thing crashing down. She conjured an Eldritch Whip, lassoing the jet around the middle, though it wouldn't last for long- they'd need to evacuate the jet, fast.

Ben's right lens visibly squinted, simulating him arching an eyebrow. "Magic girl? Very descriptive...I uh...I don't think we can handle his...Hulk can break planets. Best I can do is web people to walls. I'm Spider-Man, by the way. You are?" He snapped his head just in time to see Nyx come into frame, nodding at her as well. "Okay, good. I think that should be our first priority. Least until we figure out exactly what the big guy is after."

He watched James try and fail to get uop, jumping down to street level to help him up. "Whoa, whoa whoa easy there, man. I think you broke someth-" And then the...what the... "Um...sorry, but uh...is your...head on fire? That's...not healthy, right? Normally people's heads are not supposed to be on fire..." And she was sarcastic too... "Well...not exactly...more like a bunch of random people...Spider-Man, by the way, [pleasure to meet you. No-"

He was interrupted by...magic. So that was real. "I'm gonna ignore that I don't believe in magic agree with the magic person. Best we can do is try and stop as much damage as possible, yeah?" Her plan sounded like it made sense...he guessed. "I'm guessing you're gonna like...put Mr. Banner's astral form back into his body afterwards? Because I don't know how I feel about it otherwise."

He then turned to the injured guy, his eyes widening a bit as he nodded, "Oh. Ohhhh, your dad is Captain America! Cool, cool. My dad was man, mom was a spider but they separated when I was young so I took both their surnames." He recognized Sofia's name, but just barely. "Hm...oh yeah, I think I've heard of you? I dunno, honestly I don't know much about magic. Before just a minute or two ago I thought it was fake. Guess I can always be proven wrong, huh? Hehe, okay, anyways, we should uh...stop the Hulk before he destroys half of New Yor-"

Spider-Sense

He turned just in time to see a piece of rubble smash into the Quinjet. "CRAP!" He immediately pulled himself into the air with a web. thankful that Sophia was holding it mid air. "I got the people inside! Just uh, please don't drop it!"

In one swift motion, he webbed himself inside, landing with a thud as he said, "Anybody hurt? Is the pilot alright?"

Glad that, for the moment, James had listened to her, Nyx turned her attention to the smoking city around them as the others bickered between themselves. Well, it was more like everyone seeming on edge with the red-head, but Nyx wasn't about to get any more involved with that than she already was. She was too busy debating if she had enough energy to get everyone out of the path of the Hulk, and she was starting to realise that it might be their only option. She'd seen Shield extracting people already, but would that be enough?

She jumped a little when James spoke, tilting her head, "I..." Secret identities were great and all, but these people, or at least some of them, were giving out their real names. She shuffled, anxious on her feet, "You can call me Lightning for now." She nodded, glad when Spider-Man, and she was sure that wasn't the original one, went with his secret identity first. Not that Nyx had anyone to protect, she just wasn't sure she trusted everyone here. Or anyone, actually. She'd only really known them for all of two minutes. Which... could be an eternity for a speedster, to be fair.

She jolted when the Quinjet fell, and watched almost in slow motion as Sophia slung a magical (MAGICAL) whip toward it, holding it stable, even as the Spider-Man claimed he had it. And Nyx was already moving to help. Without so much as a thought to the actual solidity of Sophia's whip, she was off like a shot, feet pounding down onto the magic at lightning speed. There was no time for backlash, if it even acted like a normal rope, and she was up there quicker than anyone could blink.

She was joined moments later by the Spider, and she glanced to him, "I can run most of them down, I think. Can... Can you help hold the jet stable with those webs?" She queried. Without waiting for much of a response, since Nyx was always on the move no matter what, she was gone again, starting to take people down, and a fair distance from the danger zone.

Elise just chuckled at the childish prank not even bothered by the sparks she had been through far worse and had inflicted far worse. What did bug Elise was that everyone thought of banner and not of hulk, they were thinking along the lines of hulk bad banner good it seemed when they had both failed to stop the control that had taken over them. Elise had worked with the hulk she knew his soul and she didn't like the surface level of seeing hulk destruction and seeing only evil. Even now she could see him holding back he could have destroyed the jet. Well Elise could not wait for these kids to figure things out the murdered supreme would just have to deal with someone out magicking her. The magic of hell was rather versatile.

" Looks like you aren't aware what others magic can do Magical girl" Elise said her tone still rather laid back not worried about thing even as Sophia went off to the jet.

Elise looked to Steve's kid " Well looks like i'll have to do you a favor, before i go help a friend of mine" Elise said moving to his leg kneeling down and running his hand over the broken area of the leg. Normally hellish magic was a cost benefit thing, there would normally be some cost, but well nothing said you had to collect now. Elise would just consider it a debt owed to be repaid latter. She likely would not have to deal with this group again so she would never need to call upon this small debt. in seconds the bone had mended it as good as new and a new debt was unknowingly owed.

" There" Elise said getting up and oddly as she stood behind her there was a rather peculiar motorcycle that had seemingly not been there before. In truth she had called the bike to her, but Elise was not making a big deal about what she was doing or who she was. It really didn't matter she was not one for titles or anything like that. There was no family to protect, no loved ones to shelter, no great honors to proclaim, or linages to live up too. Elise was just a ghost rider a foolish idiot that had done something very stupid.

" Now if you excuse Kid I'll be doing my own thing" Elise said moving and getting on her bike. It was not a huge distance to go between them and the hulk, but Elise didn't want the others to bother her with questions, that was a drag it was better to be in the action. It was much better to relax or to fight not to plot and plan. Elise just went with it and felt as far as these thing went she was the one with the most real years of work under her belt. They could deal with civilians and the effect of the Hulk, but Elise would deal with him.

Driving her bike up Eilse moved in front of the hulks way as with the jet dealt with he was back to finding his target. " Hulk you are better than this" Elise called getting off her bike " Getting mind controlled is something for puny banner not the strong hulk" She said more concerned with helping the hulk than the scientist that shared his body with the hulk. She had liked the hulk more over the little time they had known each other. It was nothing special but she would call him a friend and a kinder being than most thought him to be. Elise walked towards the hulk who was not stopping. " You are not a mindless brute hulk, stop letting them control you like one. " Elise said as they were hulk strides away and as the hulk raised one of his fists Elise prepared her own upward strike.

just as the two met there was an explosion of flames that almost sounded like a screams, or rather screams lots of them. The explosion would obscure both combatants and when the instant was over the heat washing over all those around the flame vanished. The hulk was at a stand still, but not for lack of trying somoni was blocking him. Where there had been a red headed teen now there was a being for violet fire. in the flames there was a blacked skull floating looking up at the hulk as the flames danced around it like locks of hair. The normal street clothes were gone replaced with something more distinct, what looked like a corset with leather over coat and rather normal pants, but all were unaffected by the flames. Elise had to turn into the ride had to let vengeance take hold to a greater degree to just barely hold the hulk back. " You aren't getting past me Hulk" The being of flames and bones snarled as the two with both hands locked were in a struggle of pure brute strength and in truth Elise knew despite never getting tired she would not be the victor. " So just explain Hulk fight and explain what do they want you to do?" She almost begged trying to appeal to the hulk before things got worse.

James didn’t understand why Ben and Nyx did not say their real names. Of course he knew that heroes needed to protect themselves but he was not entirely worried about that. He had a good feeling about this group and he knew it was very strange to feel that with strangers but he was raised to be a hero and working with teammates was sorta normal for him. He needed to prove to everyone that he wasn’t just some kid since everyone was treating him that way but he could not blame them because he did something stupid and he will probably do it again. He watched as Nyx, Ben and Sofia were occupied with a fallen jet.

Yeah those guys were heroes.

When Elise healed him he wanted to thank her but she already got on her motorcycle and rode off towards the Hulk. James then glanced to the others and then started to run towards the destruction to see if he could help in any way. Elise seemed to have it under control for now so he started to look around for civilians who were trapped under rubble. James suddenly raised his shield to protect himself from a fire blast headed his way.

“Well I was expecting Steve but you’ll do just fine,” Adolf Shimidt said as he lowered his cybernetic hand down. James ran at him going to bash him with his shield and Adolf brought his sword out and clashed it against his shield preventing him from being able to hit him. “What? did Steve give a random kid his shield or are you-“ Adolf took a moment to humor himself and laughed, “no way! Steve has a kid and trained him.” James got angry by this and used a great burst of strength to ram his Shield into Adolf smacking his face hard.

“Fuck!” Adolf yelped dropping his sword and holding his face and suddenly lunged at James with a cybernetic knife on his hand as James quickly blocked with his shield and punched Adolf across the face. The son of Red Skull realized he had no time for this and had to stop the Hulk or bring him under Hydra’s control. He roundhouse kicked James to the ground and started to run towards Elise and the hulk but did not make it far before the star shield rebounded off of him causing him to tumble to the ground with a hard thud.

The hulk looked at Elise and growled at her but he knew her so he did not choose to attack yet. “Hulk stop bad men from stealing magic girl,” he said to her and was beginning to listen to his friend but saw a Hydra truck in the distance and the anger rose in him again. He did not want to hurt Elise so he began to scale a building and hopped over her to get to the truck and smash it. Pushing past cars and busses not caring if he hurt anyone except his friend.

“HULK smash BAD MEN!” Hulk roared and dashed towards the truck grabbing it and slamming it into the ground creating a shockwave that knocked everything back. Giant mechs were deployed onto the streets to deal with Hulk and there were humans piloting them. Hulk roared again and dashed towards the mechs hitting one and sending them into a building.

The Hydra grunt driving the transport Maxine was on was swerving to avoid rubble falling on the truck knowing it was only a matter of time before the Hulk saw them. He was sure that the Hulk wanted Maxine because the hulk did tear through one of their bases to try and find her.

Bad men stealing a magic girl, while not the most eloquent explanation had a charm in it's simplicity. That was very much how the hulk thought and Elise could apricate it and that Hulk didn't seem to be under control he was just excited. He was a lot like Elise herself in their way of tackling most problems charge at it and crush it. Elise couldn't do that to every problem, but it was her preferred way of dealing with things. So when the hulk jumped out she let him go no flaming chain to try to keep him here. Elise called her bike now engulphed in flames to her side. She was going to do something that few heroes would do she was going to trust the hulk's judgment. He knew what was going on more than the others and while it might look like destruction Elise knew better Hulk wasn't a mad beast he was a man on a mission.

Elise mounted her bike revved the engines and took off. Instead of going on the street level she rode up the building her bike leaving a trail of hell fire as she rode vertically following after the hulk. Looking down it only took her a second to see where the hulk was and the truck he was most likely following. With that she took off her bike jumping into the air and rather than falling sailing through the air leaving fire in it's wake as angled it just right. Her target wasn't the truck or even the hulk but beside him.

As she landed Elise let revved her bike again unleashing more flames " Let get the bad men Hulk, we have judgment to dispense. " She shouted as she took one hand off her bike and summoned a lasso of burning chains. She like the hulk was a little less than concerned about saving everyone. She trusted Hulk to even in his rage hold back some to do as little damage as he could while like this. There would be injuries, but hopefully no fatalities, and she would know if there were.

Sophia secured her grip on the whip as Spider-Man climbed into the quinjet, grunting with the effort of holding up the entire jet, plus the dozen or so people now in there. She was trying her best to make sure the whip didn't cut through the metal, channeling just enough energy to keep the hungry sparks at bay. All at once, though, things started becoming more intense- S.H.I.E L.D. mechs started appearing, James was back up on his feet, fighting some sort of cyborg, and the hulk was being cornered by the red-haired girl on her motorcycle. All throughout, Sofia was able to barely maintain her concentration- that was, until the girl who called herself Lightning decided to run up her whip.

The energy from Lightning running up the whip overloaded it, and while Sophia was able to get the energy exertion back under control in a few seconds, the damage was done- the whip had begun slicing through the midsection of the quinjet like a hot knife through butter, and while it didn't cut all the way through, it was still enough to shift the ship's grip on the jet to a more awkward one, causing it to swing back and forth pendulously. Sophia tried to ignore the screams coming from inside the jet as she scanned her mind for any spell that could possibly help, until she landed on one- that she'd, unfortunately for everyone involved, never tried before. Alright, Ikkon, let's hope you knew what you were talking about. Sophia muttered a few strange words, and to an outside observer, it would appear as though she'd began to grow new arms- before dozens of duplicates of herself shot out across the sky, each one securing their own lasso onto the quinjet, "Yes, that actually worked!" All of Sophia's duplicates spoke at once, the sound of her laugh echoing through the sky. She glanced back down at the quinjet, feeling her magic start to waver at the cost of casting such a large spell. "Uh, do you guys think you can start to hurry this up? I can't hold this much longer."

This was getting weird. Maxine thought it was just a sharp turn, but the more the driver swerved, the more she realised that the driver was swerving something. She could see the windshield so she peeked and saw rubble and large rocks coming at them. She wondered who was doing it, then she saw a glimpse of a large green arm. 'Hulk, Banner.' was Maxine's first thought. She wondered why he was trying to get the van, then it occurred to her, her mother must've called the Avengers or Banner at the least. All this swerving was making her nervous that they would crash into some civilians, but it was making the straitjacket looser around her. She knew she had to calm down Banner, she could hurt anyone. Soon the ties and clasps came loose enough for her to get her arms out, she could use her powers now. Quickly removing them, she knocked out the guards in the back with her and the driver. The car came to a screeching halt.

Using her power she bust open the back of the truck and made a beeline to Banner. At this point, she shed the straitjacket and was sprinting. She saw someone with him, on a motorcycle, with flames around her. She could deal with her if she needed too. She assumed she was a good guy since Banner wasn't attacking her. She saw Banner pick up a piece or rubble and she used her magic to restrain him as best she could. "Crap!" Maxine cursed, forgetting how strong he was, but she still kept him restrained. "Banner! Hey, look at me! It's me Maxine! You are looking for me right?! I'm fine! All good!" She yelled at him hoping it would calm him down. After a few more minutes of convincing him, Hulk eventually turned back into Banner. She let her magic restraints go and he rushed to hug her. "Woah, Banner, I'm fine. You should go tell my mother." She told him. Banner then told her where the rest were, she didn't know the rest of the names, but he told her where James was first. "Thanks!" She thanked him before flying off, going to where James was. She had a bit of bruising and cuts all over her body and some cuts on her face, but that didn't matter right now.

She soon spotted him and landed by him. "You alright Rogers?" She asked teasingly. She magic was ready at her hands, ready to attack if needed. Seeing their foe, she knew this was gonna be an interesting fight.

Adolf got up from the ground and tackled James staring to punch him repeatedly in the face. James grunted and managed to grab his fist and push it back far enough so that he could land a punch on him. James used his shield to hit Adolf in the head making the cyborg malfunction a little and stumble back giving James time to get up and prepare for his next attack as he blocked Adolf thrusting his cybernetic fist into him. Adolf grunted as he pushed against the shield, “Stay out of my way Rogers...or else I will be forced to kill you.” James pushed against his fist in determination not to give up, “I can’t let you win!”

The two were at a standoff until Maxine landed by James and the two were both surprised to see her as they stopped to turn to her. “Max?” James smiled at her glad she was here but was confused on why she was here, “I thought you were living in the countryside with Wanda?” Adolf scoffed and grabbed James tossing him aside against a wall hard and brought out his sword, “Maxine Maximoff…it is an honor to finally meet you, I was the one who ordered those men to capture you and now it seems I will have to get you back.” Adolf raised his blaster cannon hand at her and fired.

“Max!” James yelled and got up trying in get in front of the blast to block it with his shield and he did. He cared too much about Max to even take a chance on Adolf hurting her. Adolf angrily glared at James and lifted his finger up and Hydra agents came from behind him aiming their guns at both of them, “Sorry but this ends now. Stop trying to be a god damn hero.” Hydra agents began to shoot at James but James protected himself with his shield as he was hoping Max would be able to take care of the agents shooting at him. Adolf was pretty sure the mission was a bust but he wanted to kill James now for ruining it and plus to get revenge on Steve for killing his father.

She was glad to see James, though he could be in better condition. It took everything in her not to rip Adolf to shreds, he hurt him. "Nice to see ya again. I wanted to the joys of city life. Looks like I found it." She answered James question jokingly. She redirected her focus back to the foe in front of them. A scowl plastered on her face as Adolf spoke to her. "Can't say the same about you. And I am never going back." She insulted him, putting an emphasis on the never. It was true, she didn't want to go back. They experimented on her, tested the limit of her powers and pushed them beyond belief, and she ended up with cuts and bruises on her body that she would need to treat later. And now that Adolf had admitted that he was the one who sent those men to capture her, she hated him. The energy in her hands grow to a larger size as rage filled her.

As the canon fired, she saw James come over to her and block it. "Thanks." She said to him but her attention was put back to Adolf when he ordered more Hydra agents to free fire at them. Grunting as this became a hassle, she readied her energy once again. She knew James was counting on her to take care of the agents shooting at them, so that's exactly she would do. She floated up in the air, getting to a level that was out of the range of fire, and used her magic to disintegrate their guns. This requires a lot of concentration so she was silent as she used and manipulated her energy but soon enough she was able to disarm their guns. She landed back down beside James once it was finished. "Can we kill this guy now?" She asked as she landed, her accent slipped though.

With Hulk taking the truck out and the girl taking care of hulk Elise had gone and dealt with the Hydra members. She made them face their sins , all the pain they had caused, all the people they had killed, with just a stare she burned their very souls out and turned their bodies to ash. Others might not kill but Elise knew that these people didn't learn they were without good in their hearts and when confronted they crumbled. That was why they burned, their sins were to much and they could not bear the pain they inflicted, they knew it was wrong but did it anyways and didn't want to accept it.

" The others never liked it when you did that" A voice from behind Elise said it was banner, the coward that rejected that part of himself that was the hulk.

" If they could be good people then they would not burn, you know that well or did you forget?" She asked a little spite in her voice, banner was a pacifist a man of science that had surprised any thought of violence, he was not someone that could understand vengeance. Their first meeting have been Elise thinking the hulk was a destroyer only to find out she was wrong when the hellfire did not burn the hulk " Or do you want to see who burns him or you?" She asked her empty eye sockets glowing for a moment.

Banner laughed nervously " Right point taken " Banner said this was not the first time the offered had been made and while the hulk had passed would he?

With just a thought Elise summoned her bike and got on it " Hop in banner" Elise said revving and engine

" We going to help them?" He asked sounding nervous, that was another thing she disliked about him, he was to scared almost afraid of his his shadow because of the hulk. " I just well i just turned back" he stammered but still did as Elise told him.

" Not unless they need it we will watch" Elise said as she took off driving to the nearest building then straight up it. She rode faster and faster flying high into the air as she got to the top of the building and with a fluid movement she landed on the roof before again taking off moving from rooftop to roof top. She made her way back to the site of the fight with unnatural swiftness coming to a halt at the edge of one that overlooked the fight.

The two got off the bike and looked down " It is almost like looking into the past" banner chuckled " Just like how the avengers first formed"

" To many of the old guard have gone, it is time to pass the torch" Elise sighed watching those she saw as kids.

Banner looked to her " What about you, you haven't aged a day are you going to pass on your torch?" he asked not entirely sure what she would do or say.

Elise shook her head " I have an old score to settle and even then i don't plan on leaving i guess i'll just burn and burn for this generation and the next and the one after that" Elise answered though her voice lacked excitement and enthusiasm, she had realized what living forever meant and what was in her, how could she curse anyone else like that?

Nyx was halfway through helping someone down from the quinjet when Sophia seemed to lose her grip. She yelped, quickly putting the person down and bolting back up onto the jet, watching in slow motion as the whip slid through into the quinjet, and it swung under her feet. With how fast she'd been going, she wondered if it had been her that had caused the issues with Sophia's magical whip, but she couldn't ask right now. Screams rung in her ears as she momentarily hung on for dear life, eyes wide as she watched Sophia apparently multiply, a lasso coming from each of her duplicates until the jet was held steady enough.

The echoing of her voice through them all was more than enough to startle Nyx out of her stunned stance, and she hurried to do as she was told. She could certainly hurry it up, it was just about the only thing she knew how to do sometimes. She grabbed everyone one by one, zipping them down and then returning for another. When she finally placed the last man down, leaving the jet empty, she skidded to a halt beside what she assumed to be the original Sophia, since she doubted she'd moved.

Leaning over onto her knees, she gasped for breath, staring up at the jet for a moment as she tried to regain her bearings. She'd used a lot of energy zipping back and forth, and she knew she'd be paying for it later. Especially since she was sure something else needed doing. She didn't know the current situation with the Hulk, after all.

"G-Got 'em all..." She panted, nodding shakily.

“You really are controlled by your emotions,” Adolf said to the both of the them as all his mens weapons were gone but he didn’t care since he was a cyborg and could hack into anything and hacked into a nearby Shield quinjet with his wrist and made it fly towards James and Maxine firing at them and ran off to have them deal with that. Adolf then sliced through Shield agents that were in his way with his sword.

“Adolf….” Agent Victoria Hand watched him run away from her view in the quinjet and instructed the pilot to follow him. “Yes ma’am,” the pilot said and followed Adolf who noticed them and shot a cannon blast at the quinjet which made it go down to the street. Victoria jumped out with a parachute and descended to the ground as fast as she could. Elise might have been proud of her for doing stuff she would have never dreamed of back then. Victoria was daydreaming about Elise being proud of her that she was surprised when Adolf shot her parachute causing her to fall on a car.

“Fuck!” Victoria yelped, “cheap shot! I am getting you for that Adolf!” Victoria then hobbled off the car falling to the street and getting up and grabbing her handgun from her hoister. Adolf fired another cannon blast at her and she rolled away from the car as it exploded and fired a few shots at Adolf which hit him in the shoulder. “Hand you gotten better at shooting I see,” Adolf chuckled clutching his shoulder and fired at her from handgun, Victoria moved behind another car. Adolf smiled as he kept spraying in her direction not giving her a chance to peek and shoot back. He moved closer to the car holding his sword to slice through her flesh.

Victoria was not sure what she could do against him now since she was not fit to fight a cyborg. She breathed in and grabbed an EMP from her belt and threw it at Adolf who was on the ground disabled for a moment giving enough time for Shield troops to surround him. “So who’s the loser now?” Victoria smirked as she walked to Adolf who was on the ground.

Elise had been watching the chaos when she saw Tiri there was someone she had not expected to see again. Tori had talked about shield back when they were.... friends but she had gone far. Still that was another reason for Elise to stay out of sight their last meeting had not exactly been good.

That situation could be put aside as Elise fall into a car. As far as Elise knew tori was still a normal human and would be injured from such a fall. " Either get mad or stay up here " Elise told banner as she got on her bike.

Driving down a building took time no matter how fast you drove snd Elise still watched the fight ready to use a chain to help tori if she needed it. Elise didn't fully see tori as the warrior she had become she was still that older college girl to Elise.

Even as Elise closed in it seemed that tori was victorious over Adolf. Elise drove up between tori and Adolf. She couldn't put her finger on it but she didn't want tori near him.

" It is time for his judgement not arrest Tori Elise said shield might not like it but well hydra was like that best killed over jailed.

"He's fucking useless."

The Neo-Hydra jet flew high above the chaos going on below, cloaked and off-grid, giving Wolf a clear view of every separate event occurring below- from the Hulk rampaging and freeing the Maximoff girl, to the sorceress, spider-boy, and speedster attempting to stabilize a quinjet, to the 'he' in question fighting- and losing- to a teenage boy. "Had I been down there, there wouldn't even be need for him. These 'heroes', these children- they think they know what they're up against. He is what they think we are- strong, but slow. And dull." Wolf idly flexed and clenched her left fist, claws sliding out and in as she did so.

"Wel, you're in luck, then, Winter Wolf." Wolf's eye twitched at the cold pinch of a needle entering the skin at the back of her neck, her body shivering as fluid rushed through her veins. Her lip pulled up in a low growl which was quickly silenced by the officer behind her. "The kids think they have won. The agents are becoming brazen. And you, soldier, now have the perfect opportunity to strike." Wolf felt her pupils dilate, every sense being multiplied tenfold. She didn't actually know what they were injecting her with every time she went out, though judging by the way her already enhanced senses became much stronger, she guessed it was just that- an enhancement serum.

"So I'm going in to save his little ass. Figures." Wolf placed her half-mask onto her face, her piercing blue eyes glancing one final time out the window of the craft. She watched as Adolf sprayed bullets towards the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, though he was quickly brought down by an E.M.P. one of the agents threw at him. She scoffed. "This will be easy."

Without any further warning, Wolf strapped on her thermal goggles and jumped out of the jet, initiating her cloaking device. The world faded around her as the cloaking tech affected her eyes, though Wolf had gotten so used to fighting without her vision that it didn't bother her in the slightest. She landed silently on a nearby rooftop and tapped the device on her belt, letting her eyes shine through the cloaking device's effect- an outside observer would only see a red gleam peering through the smoke. She looked over the scene- some sort of demon, which had previously been a red-haired teen, was now standing aside the agent that had taken down Adolf, seemingly protective over the agent. Despite still having some sensory overload from the injection, Wolf was still able to make out the girl's words- something about 'judgment', and while Wolf would've had a ball watching whatever that was meant to be happen, she had a mission.

Wolf lept from the rooftop, enabling her cloaking completely and blinding herself once more. She moved silently through the gaggle of civilians and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, a ghost among the living, a wolf among sheep, until she sensed she was close enough to Adolf. She crouched down and, not being able to help herself, let out a low growl. It's not as if they can see me, anyways- and besides, it's been a long time since I've had a kill this easy. Wolf licked her lips and disengaged her cloaking around her eyes for just a split second, red eyes peering through for just long enough to take aim at her target. Wolf lept, reaching out with her left arm and unsheathing her claws, aiming right at the agent's throat.
