rin had noticed the newcomer, hugo. she'd seen him around the town a smidge. of course, he was cool to her. he was big and intimidating. She nodded, agreeing with him, finally popping into the conversation. "yeah- good bread!" she agreed. "i'm rin- nice to meetcha!" she offered her hand. she wasn't intimidated by him at all...
_____
Marz simply watched, grabbing some bread to munch on himself.

Ophelia smiled as she watched the two talk so confidently. "I for sure could never do that," she thought to herself. "Well didn't we just talk for at least 5 minutes with Oliver?” thought another part of her. "Good point," she thought as if it was a conversation in her mind with herself (something she did often). "I guess that counts," "Yeah it definitely does!" "Wow, I'm not as bad at conversations as I thought I was" thought multiple parts of herself. "Goodness there are a lot of people here," she thought glancing around. She started making mental notes on everyone's features there so she could remember them later on in case she forgot their names.

"I don't think it does have a name. We should give it one though!" Oliver said in excitement.
______

Harlow looked at Rin, relieved that the awkward situation may be over now that Rin was there. "Ahah hello Rin!"

she looked up, waving. "hey! who's this guy?" she pointed to the tall dude. "why is he red?" she asked, oblivious to the whole romance thing that was happening. she tore another chunk of bread of.

Sam stared at Penelope's hand for a moment before reaching out and taking it. He decided to use a loose grip, because whenever he got distracted he tended to squeeze extra hard. Last time he held someone's hand he ended up spraining their wrist on accident. He smiled slightly, though it was unseen through his mask, happy to have another friend who didn't seem to hate him.
____

"This is Hugo, I just met him... And he's not red." Harlow said with a bit of a forced giggle.

she tilted her head, shrugging. "seems so." she stated as a matter of fact. "hi hugo. a pleasure!" she grinned.

Blitzen found himself laying on the ground after being thrown into the portal from the ancient room in his palace. He immediately got up and ran to go back into the portal, only for it to close at the last second as he tumbled once again to the ground. His eyes squinted in the harsh light of the sun as he slowly sat up and looked around.

It was all so different. He recognized trees, but they weren't normal trees. Brown bark and green leaves. Instead of the rock like surface of netherrack he found that he was sitting on green grass with dirt all around. His clawed hands were covered with some dirt as well as his legs and some on his face. He wiped off the stuff on his face with his arm and discovered molten blood mixed with the dirt. He touched his face with a pointer finger and felt the warm substance that was his blood dripping from his face. It also started coming down from the mark on his right eye and made his vision clouded.

He tried to wipe some of it off and it dripped down to the ground. It hurt, a lot. They were recent injuries he had only just gotten from the intruders. He remembered the sound of fighting, swords clanging and voices shouting in mixed rage and fear. A retainer had come to get him, told him that he'd be safer in the room that was meant to hide the royals in case of an emergency. They had gone there and met up with his parents, the king and queen. Voices came and they found them. The only thing he had seen was blood before the young prince had been rushed off. He had heard anguished screams but couldn't stay to figure out what had happened. Then he was shoved through the portal and ended up here.

His ears and tail drooped as he began to cry a couple tears. He let out a small squeak which meant, "Hello?" in his native language. Nothing came. No one. He got up and started moving apprehensively through the forest he thought of as unusual, strange and scary.

"If it doesn't have a name then we can give it one ourselves? Then i think it should be something symbolic, we could name it after something that happened today, or maybe we can wait a bit and see if a cool thing happens" Replied Danya to Oliver, and as she finished talking she felt like she could hear a really faint cry in the distance. "Hey, did you guys hear something?" Asked Danya to Oliver and Ophelia.

Ophelia didn't pay attention that well, she was always seemingly in another world. But for just this once, she did hear a faint cry in the distance. "Yeah I heard that," she said very confused as to where it came from. "That's rather odd," Ophelia almost whispered. Shrieks and cries weren't something you heard everyday (unless you live with children) so she was curious about where it came from.

"maybe we should go see what it is? It might be something dangerous? Or maybe something is hurt?" Oliver said in a worried tone.

The young prince started making his way slowly through the forest. He tried to use his senses to help him but everything was so different that he didn't understand anything that was happening. His eyesight was clouded from the blood trickling down from his right eye, his ears heard strange sounds from animals, and the new material of grass and dirt felt weird on his feet. The smells of the overworld were also very different from his home.

He let out another sound, asking if there was anyone out there, but couldn't hear or see anyone. He walked through the forest and stumbled to stop. His cape got snagged on something and he pulled hard to free it. When it did come lose he stumbled backwards to the ground. He looked to see that the cape had been torn and there was a ragged piece still on the green spiky thing that had caught it. The intact part was barely a cape anymore. He looked saddened by the development but got up and looked down at it. There was nothing he'd be able to do to fix it. Noting that the piece on him was a little loose, he adjusted it so that it hung around his neck like a scarf but made it so that there was a piece in the back that had the appearance of a cape.

Blitzen told himself to leave it and kept going, but didn't look happy about it. It didn't take long to find what he thought were houses. Well, the shape of houses at least. There were weird materials that were used to build it, well what he thought was weird anyways. Light brown and gray blocks. What even was this strange place?

He apprehensively moved to go into the town and found that it looked pretty deserted. There didn't seem to be anyone, which was unusual to him considering his kingdom in the nether was always hustling and bustling with life. He wiped away some molten blood which ended up dripping to the ground. He walked over and saw a small pen. He found the scent coming off it weirdly enticing and his instincts told him to go closer. He crept towards the pen and saw a small figure. Large ears, short tail and seemingly powerful legs that helped it bounce about. He spoke using his language, "Hello? Do you know where I am?" was what he said. The creature skidded to move backwards in the pen, seemingly scared. He didn't understand and climbed over the fence to get in. "Can you help me, please?" It scampered away from him and he was starting to get annoyed. He didn't understand that this creature wouldn't talk or understand anything of what he was saying.

He was becoming angry and conflicted. This creature wasn't helping him and was trying to avoid him. His instincts kept telling him to kill it. Survive. While he was dealing with the creature, he hadn't even realized that his blood had been dripping little by little and lead right to him.

"I'ma go find what's making that noise, if you all want to come with." Oliver said, then started off outside with a bit of a jog. The noise seemed to be coming.... From his house?? As he grew closer he slowed down, bringing out his diamond axe (the only diamond tool he had) just in case something dangerous was there. "Hello?" He said, loudly but in a hushed voice at the same time. He didn't want to try to find what was making noise, what if it was like a creeper? What if it would explode if he found it?

Ophelia watched as Oliver ran away and decided to follow. She looked around his house because the noise was sounding like it came from it. "See anything?" she asked Oliver.

"This is Hugo, I just met him... And he's not red." Harlow said with a bit of a forced giggle.
She smiled as she lead them to a seat, “ I hope the meeting starts soon” she said happily

Ophelia watched as Danya came down the path to see what was going on. Danya said something about the house, which Ophelia felt was not important at this moment but still said: "Yeah totally!"

Blitzen lost control and attacked. The rabbit tried to scamper away but he caught it with a clawed hand and used his sharp teeth as a weapon to bite down hard and kill it. When he was done, there was only raw rabbit meat left behind. The scent flooded his nose and he ripped a chunk off and slowly chewed the meat. It was pretty good and he was going for a second bite when his ears had finally caught wind of the voices.

They were inaudible to him, a completely different language. The words that came from the voices sounded like gibberish, but the new sounds seemed to scare him back into his right mind. He dropped the meat, almost scared of what he had done. The young prince had never been too terribly violent and he had never wanted to kill anything. He had only wanted help. How could this happen?

He looked around to try to figure out what it was and where it had come from.

Oliver paused, momentarily distracted by the off topic chit chat. "Oh yeah! It took forever to build- spruce wood is real hard to find, it's like ten miles away!" He said, then realized that wasn't really important at the moment. Then he heard something... A squeaky noise? Rabbit? rabbit?! BOB?! Oliver didn't care about the danger anymore and sprinted toward his animal pen. He practically flung himself over the side of the fence and nearly ran into a sheep.

"WHO'S HURTING BOB?!!" Oliver shouted, sounding at least ten times more aggressive then he usually did. Then he saw it. A slightly eaten rabbit corpse next to some odd looking creature. He froze in place, diamond axe gripped tightly in his hands, piercing eyes staring at the small creature with pure rage.

"Did you k i l l B o b ?"

____

"The meeting started already. It's just a gathering." Sam said, but not in a rude way.

Blitzen moved his head backwards and his orange tinted golden eyes went into tighter slits as he stared at the new shape. It spoke, but not anything he could understand. It seemed to be one of things he had heard before, but the words it spoke were strange. It didn't even sound like words, more like gibberish to him. Though, he could tell the strange creature was angry. What was worse, it held a weapon. It was in the shape of an axe, but had a weird blue material making up the blade. Though, he could tell it was still an axe.

He backed up and headed for the fence. His mouth was covered in blood and there was a little on his clawed hands too. It was obvious he was the one who had killed the rabbit. His own molten blood dripped to the ground, mixed with red rabbit blood.

A searing growling sound came from his throat. He acted threateningly only because he was scared, putting his claws out to use as a weapon. He waited a little, staring at the creature, then made a beeline for the fence attempting to jump over to get away.

Normally Oliver would have been frightened by the growling, obviously dangerous creature in front of him, but at the moment he was just angry.... Well sort of angry, more like a shocked and sad reaction that just turned out to look angry.

As the creature attempted to sprint away, Oliver reacted without thinking, running after it and nearly chopping the poor thing. He managed to move the axe just as it came down, the shiny blade burrowing itself into the dirt slightly in front of Blitzen. Though he was mad, he wasn't a murderer. The thing didn't look old, even though he had no idea what it was, killing it would do no good. Bob was already dead... He pulled the axe back with a bit of effort. "Get away from my animals!" He huffed, looking back where his rabbit used to be. It took a lot of self control not to start murdering the thing that killed his pet, but he managed to keep himself calm by squeezing the handle of his axe so tight his hand hurt.

___

Sam nodded, "sure... Who's fruit?" He asked as he followed his new friend.

Blitzen huffed as he ran for the pen's fence, but skidded to a halt midway as he saw the blade of the axe cut down on him. It narrowly missed, going into the dirt in front of him, and he almost stumbled while getting away as Oliver pulled it back.

He looked back towards the strange thing as it spoke more words he didn't understand. Oliver looked back towards where he had killed the other creature. Blitzen had followed his gaze. Had that thing been something important? His ears were turned down and his tail drooped. He felt terrible about killing it. He never wanted to kill anything or hurt anything. But, right now he was hurt and scared and didn't know what was happening.

He saw that the thing was most likely angry. It looked angry at least. He turned and fled over the fence, not really knowing where to go.

Danya was shocked at what she just saw, the cute little rabbit had just been murdered by this creature that she hadn't seen at all in her travels, Oliver seemed to be really hurt by this, and he seemed to have shown both compation and agresion torwards the creature that only spoke in growls, which was common for alot of the creatures and monsters in the land, but this one looked different, with colors not usually found in this biomes, or this realm.

Danya then remembered a book she read about other dimentions, most importantly the nether, a place as hot as an active volcano. She had never been to the nether, but in the books she had read, it seemed that this creature had similar color to those found in the nether.

As she saw the strange creature fleeing over the fence, Danya turned to Oliver and asked "Hey, are you ok?"
