Well at least I'm not the only one. (I probably shouldn't be but-) Mine's a Green/Black Naridian holy gardner but I'm thinking to scrap it because I can't get a solid, interesting chara out of it. Yours is the polymorphing, web slingin' bunny beast right? Aren't beastmen nomadic tribes-like in some areas? You could create a tribe and describe their unique thing being polymorphing from the animals they hunt and learn from, add some personal story she goes through, some important people to her, a reason she leaves this tribe and homeland. No reason she can't just be a heartland street urchin with a story yet to be told, but there needs to be some character portrayed even in that.

I taking that you're a euro or aus and they aren't literally bloody ears :^p. Alright alright. Zoo-animal like enslavement. Rough. Got to find out what happens from there then. Does someone take pity, does she live that way for a long time, does she get out on her own, is she taught casting as some sort of performance act you could lean into that angle.

The second one is spot on and hmm she's lived that way for a majority of her life. Only being free for two months or so before the start of the rp and she escaped herself after a fellow attraction used Blue Magic to help her realise the situation she was in. Currently she would be at the guild trying to either hide or get stronger so she can fend for herself easier

Spoiled Bread 's theme and added one of my own to my character. Pretty fitting, to say the least.

I'm doubting a majority of these players have played one (1!) western rpg with all the weebery afoot! Your theme only solidifies this...

Xcelgamer , sounding solid to me the trouble comes in fleshing that into all the fleshy goodness. I think there's plenty with that to jot down though. You've got this.

Same. Sadly none others than we can do it, besides asking leading questions as such to help. Keep toiling and maybe we'll make it in on time.
Perhaps there can be a section on how much she's traveled to her master's various social outings, getting to see different locales and peoples.

Oh yeah it's super catchy. And mine is mellow at the start, but kicks up more and more until it becomes a full-on battle theme towards the end.

Oh! Recently owlcat came out with wrath of the righteous, its a pathfinder ap in a baldur's gate style but definitly worth it.

Their kingmaker game is solid too.

And even more so. Never played. Too smooth brained for the patience of CRPG's like baldur but I've got a few of the more casual ones like Fallout NV under my belt.

I won't lie, I can't think of a western rpg I've played. Not that I play that many RPGs... I guess i played Kotor long ago. and SWTOR if you wanted to count that a little (didn't get far). I've played Dnd and Pathfinder granted some of the pathfinder adventure paths at least to me felt like it had a little bit of a mild anime vibe to it. Not overly so but something about it always felt like it had some inspiration mixed in with it.

I mean... do you really want to enable me? I wouldn't... though... enabling me... I could see it (though only the gods know how it works) a mortal and a spirit from the spirit world 'gettin it on' and perhaps creating a child that might work that way having a human body but with Mana that in a way has a life of its own.

Granted I guess it would make stats weird, I mean if the physical body isn't using the magic but the Mana itself so concentration wouldn't really do anything for the body having it. Though at the same time I could see the body needing to move to say not get hit being tied to aglity, but really the Mana itself outside using itself to pull/drag the body it wouldn't really wouldn't be all that much of an effect given it is anchored to the body. I guess a big ol can of worms with that dynamic.

Wow! This roleplay sounds amazing, is this still open? And, may I ask, are you ok with different types of magic like shapeshifting? Like, normal man turn into hyena and stuff, kinda like Animorphs haha.

Oh, thanks! Yeah, I probably spent a bit too much time working on her, but I'm pretty satisfied with how she turned out. It'd probably take quite a bit of time for her to open up about her past herself, but I'm definitely looking forward to the time I can tell her story from her own perspective.

As am I. I just finished doing the backtory myself, so you'll see what I mean. He's not fond of talking about his past either, but perhaps that's something they can bond over in the future?

Oh yeah, of course. A lot of the characters submitted seem like they'd get along with Ramona from either having similar backgrounds or by being a foil to her, so I'm sure they'd end up forming a bond eventually.

Alright I was supposed to look at CSes properly last night but I fell the fuck asleep at like 7pm. i did that tonight as well but woke back up after three hours so CS time! People who have posted theirs can expect DMs sometime tonight.

I mean... for balance reasons you would probably need them to share a stat pool and just apply the stats that are relevant to either one. This is starting to sound more complicated though.

we're still open, there's definitely scope for magic like that, I think someone's been talking about a similar-ish spell set but there's probably room to take it in a different direction.

True, I guess I'm over complicating it and going overly mechanically weird when roleplay accomplishes it just fine.

At least magic wise it seems simple enough. It is in a way based on White Magic given it is meant to be about um.. stuff, but given its in the world and taking shape Black Magic probably fits it the best with it taking shape perhaps with using other forms of magic given its doing anything else fancy.
