i. Information -

ii. Roles -
Muse A-
A man trapped in a marriage with a man who has a very short fuse and lashes out constantly. He has tried to leave the abusive relationship before and it didn’t go very well so he hasn’t tried since. He works as much as he can, not only to get away from it but to pay for his husband who spends all of his hard-earned money on booze and drugs. He works hard and hides his personal life as best as he can. Either of us can play this role.

Muse B -
A businessman at its finest, he is the boss of a well-known business. (This can be in a normal business or mafia, or anything really - i don't mind). He has been seen as a hard man and liked things done a certain way without much of a liking for second chances. He is set in his ways and things will be done to his standard. He does have a soft side to him but this is hardly seen by most and he tries to hide it. He works hard and does his work himself instead of leaving it to others and just getting the money, he will be at his place of work day in and day out. Even he has his own problems that need working through. Either of us can play this role.


iii. Plot -
“Please, please stop!”

A voice cried out as the sound of another blow echoed through thin walls. Inside was a weak body hunched over; arms made their way over his head to try and protect himself. The man that stood over him was breathing heavy, his hands shaking and his hair a mess. He resembled that of a feral beast, toying with his prey. With one final shove, the smaller man fell to the ground. His cheeks were wet and his eyes red as he continued to cry. The man scoffed, laughing at his husband's pathetic form. His hand latched itself onto the smaller man’s hair to drag him up, a sick and sinister smirk plastered over his lips.

By his hair, the young man was dragged to the front door and shoved him into it. Quickly the smaller man fumbled with the lock, trying his best to quickly get it open. He knew what this meant, it was the second time this week. His so-called husband slammed the door shut as soon as he was outside. The sky was already settled in its darkness and he had nothing but the dull street lights to help him see. The air had a bite to it, making his skin sore from the cold. Thankfully there was one place he could go.

The man slowly walked his way to the place he worked, hugging himself in order to try and keep warm. His lips quivered and his eyes stuck to the concrete below his feet. The tears on his cheeks dried but his eyes were still red and puffy. He should be used to his partner's treatment by now but it broke his heart each time. It took time but soon enough the building he worked in came into view. He knew some would be working this late as they had earlier in the weak so it wasn’t an issue getting in.

He stayed up most of the night but couldn’t keep his eyes open forever and eventually fell asleep. It wasn’t until the morning that he was found on one of the chairs.

“Mr.(Muse A)? Isn’t this the second time this week?”


iv. Rules -

i. Do not control my character or make decisions for him.
ii. Please write at least two paragraphs. I tend to write past see all almost every time with my first response being several of those. I’m looking for someone who can write.
iii. Write in third person only.
iv. World build and character build with me! Create drama! Have fun
v. I will tell you if I can’t reply for a while, please share the same courtesy.


v. Extra Details -
I don’t want things being rushed and jumped through. This being said, Muse B won’t find out about the abuse straight away and they will not fall in love straight away. There are a few ways this can pan out. I have a small idea of them being together behind the abusive husband’s back but that doesn’t have to happen.
Also, I have a starter for if I was Muse A written up ready as I got a bit carried away when making this.
