Hello! I'm fin and here are 25points I want to mention:

1. The cast of characters listed in the 'Roles' section are my preferred cast. With some persuasion and consideration, I might be willing to allow the application of a similar character in place of the one offered (some characters can be switched out more easily than others simply bc of plot and similarity).
2. Building on the last point, you are only allowed to apply for canon DC roles. I am not trying to box anyone in to a specific kind of character, but I know it's fun to have an original take on the source material. Why not rip a little more out of the book for once?
3. Some knowledge of DC comics will be needed for this rp. Not a considerable amount, but a willigness to pop into wiki every now and then. I'll also try to help keep everybody in the loop.
4. This RP will be largely character-driven with a background arc, and a couple of plot points dropped in by me if things get slow. I am going to bounce off of ideas a lot of the time, and try to weave a coherent story together.
5. Lastly, without the pressure of being a GM, I certainly am offering a position for a plot progression team. Creative writers aware (or willing to learn) about the source material who can help with weaving plots around characters ONLY IF things get slow. If not, then I'll just bounce ideas around in a plotting channel with everybody then! I'll also try not to have shallow, useless villains and keep that interaction to a minimum unless it pushes a point. Nonetheless, people willing to write out low-level goons and "supervillains" please feel free to contact me after the acceptance process. I hate the word villains though, it is very childish considering how seriously I want the tone of this rp to be.

Count me in too!
I'd be wanting to snap up Cass Cain or second choice Roy Harper!

Unable to view the post on my phone so not sure what characters are on the list. Is Terra open? Otherwise id have gone for Cassandra but already taken.

Jason Todd for moi?
Heyo, gang!

Loving the interest. Selections will be made on an acceptance by acceptance basis, not first come first serve. Also, you can double up characters so feel free to apply for more than one when the CS is up.

OOC coming very soon!

I had an idea for Project KR playing off of a few different clone-type characters from the Superman mythos, but if that ends up not being viable, could I pick a Legionnaire?

Could you elaborate by what you would mean by a Legionnaire?

No pressure, but I envision whoever is chosen as Project Kr to be a pretty significant part of the first plot. Nothing we’ll delve into too soon, but they won’t be a member of the team when things start. I’ll try to stay tight lipped for now but I feel I’ve already said too much.

Hope this helps and the OOC will be coming either tonight EST or tomorrow morning!

So was Terra a option for Titans? saves making a CS for something that might not get used due to auto-deny

Sorry, I was going to get back to you on that.

Terra in substitution for somebody like Cassandra Cain right? I could see it working, so I’ll allow you to apply for that character.

I mean not a substitution if someone else wants to play Cass, but i guess if it has to be one or the other. Kinda like both of the characters for different reasons but ive tried to play Terra in other DC games but they ended up never actually running/falling apart within first post.

I selected each character in the current roster because they fulfill a specific role in the team. I killed or did not include other characters for that same reason. So please read Cass’ description and try to adhere to it a bit even if you are writing Terra.

Also, OOC!

A member of the Legion of Superheroes, Clark's team from when he was a teenager (except when they aren't) that operate as the premier team of the 30th century (usually.)

Idea i had for Terra was actually connecting her to "The Melt", though league of assassins is easy enough as well with the Deathstroke connection. The Melt was essentially the stone/earth version of the Green (IE Swampthing)

Ah, I recall! Just want to emphasize that the focus will be relationship and world-building. Not overall strength either.

I would like to keep the focus on the core Titans for now, though that is an interesting plot to consider.

Glad I'm not playing that kind of Cass Cain. She would a complete mess with guilt from her past actions as "the villain" and would do her best to avoid the others fearing that she would hurt them if they got to close as the weapon her father created her to be making her even less social than the outsider of the group Rachel (it also doesn't help that Cass has a canon disability with spoken and written languages from her poor childhood where her father though reading and speaking were useless skills for his weapon). I do wish the person luck playing her if she is used.

I'm always down for DC shenanigans! I'll be going for Wally. I'm rather curious as to how he ties into this (other than being a Titan, I mean), since he's usually the levity of the team (and something I'm hoping to bring to the table).

I feel worse for anyone playing Donna. Madness lies down that path in terms of continuity.
