overview.
Graysville, Massachusetts. September 1st, 1989.
Cindy Fischer's face remains trapped in time on the back of a milk carton. Her whereabouts remain unknown for three whole months nowโshe's been declared missing since the beginning of June. Despite the facts, or lack thereof, her parents remain hopeful and a column about her case runs every week in the newspaper.
With the police completely out of hot leads on this cold case, maybe it's time another party joins in on the case to review the overlooked details. Who's to say the culprit isn't affiliated with the occult?
The Supernatural Happenings Investigation Team at Graysville Highschool has grown exponentially in the past three years, going from the singular founding member to at least five (5)! They have quite the repertoire of solved cases, including that of Old Lady Johnson's vicious tabby (it was found deceased, but was located successfully nonetheless).
Officially, the police want nothing to do with the S.H.I.T. club. Off the table, they still say they don't but the esteemed club president knows the truth. He knows that his team is essential in the case. There's more than the typical human lurking in the shadows of their small town, and itโs waiting for the perfect time to strike again.
roles
roles.
President
closed
Creator of the club, the President has worked hard to get it to where it is today. They're dedicated to their cause and have solicited new members. Without the President, there would be no club.
Vice President
open
If something were to happen to the President, they would need to be prepared to take over the club and all responsibilities associated with such a role. They're the President's right-hand. Hopefully their advice is decent.
Secretary
open
Without the Secretary, the club would have a hard time functioning. They act as the backbone of the team by keeping important record and processing reports. Decisiveness and good note-taking are essential.
Treasurer
closed
What little funds the club receives, the treasurer maintains and tracks financial transactions. They should be trustworthy and good at math, but it'd not like anyone is doing background checks.
Social Chair
open
In charge of communications, the social chair can take some creative liberties when creating flyers but should have good conversational skills. Boundaries will invitably be crossed during investigations, so a mediator would be nice to have.
Newbie
open
The nuances of high school can be a great force. Persuaded to join the S.H.I.T. show, they're in for a ride.
rules
rules.
Rule One.
Please be at least 16 years old in order to join! There are some more darker themes as the main plot deals with missing persons and supernatural elements.
Rule Two.
While this rp will be rather casual with a cap of 400-500 words per post, please have good grammar and syntax. Quality over quantity is the key this time around.
Rule Three.
If you apply, please make sure your schedule will allow to keep up with about two posts per week. Real life will always come first and if emergencies pop up that's alright, but it takes some effort to keep a group rolling.
Rule Four.
Character sheets will require realistic face claims only. Anime face claims and/or stolen art will not be accepted. In addition, this roleplay is NOT first come, first serve.
Rule Five.
Discord is a necessity for OOC planning and the like. The actual rp will take place on RPN, but once the final cast is accepted, OOC will move to Discord.
