Fantasy Holy or Unholy, either way they're idiots

"You didn't so much as pass out, more like.. zoned out. I thought you were processing. In a way you were I guess. So I waited for you to come back, and helped ground you afterwards. I know what you're like when you process to much emotional information at once." Xander explained, a gentle smile. "No, I understand, trust me I do. You were brought up to see things a certain way, and even though you know me, that doesn't stop the years of conditioning beaten into you. I could never hold it against you, not even when you attacked me when you first found out." He smiled, lovingly.

Xander threw his head back and let out a dramatic 'Noooooo' when Karma said he's have to live a life never touching Karma's wings. "I'll find a way to rise, I'll become human if I must! Gotta... figure out a way to do that though..." He trailed off, humming. Demonic redemtion... was it possible? again, food for thought for later. He melted at the smile, a real smile from Karma. They were a rareity, only when Karma was genuinely happy after getting something heavy off of his chest. Ususally Xander resorting to stupid jokes that he knew would make Karma laugh. He knew that, even if it was for now and only temporary, they had peace for the first time in ages. And he couldn't help but smile back with pure love and adoration.

He had to admit, not expecting the so very obvious suggestion. Xander blinked, before laughing but not out of amusement. More concern and worry, but for Karma rather for himself. "Uh, aha, How about... we just make out and see what happens from there, yeah? Take it slow. I get you have freedom, but no need to jump into everything." Xander chuckled, cupping Karmas face and kissing him soundly. "I say we ease you into it. I'm going to assume you don't even know how to french kiss someone, let alone do anything more... intimate." Xander grinned, kissing Karma as deep as one could get using closed mouths. "But, you're lucky your boyfriend is very willing to teach you. Just copy me." he instructed, kissing Karma again, but opening his mouth against Karmas lips.

When Karma did the same, he took the initiative and slowly started exploring Karmas mouth with his tongue. This was intimate, or could be considered at least by some. His eyes closed as he happily explored, trying to coax Karmas own tongue to join him. some would think that the exchanging of saliva was weird, and he would admit it was a weird feeling at first. But you got used to it eventually. He pulled back after a few minutes, slightly panting, but a cocky smile on his lips. "So... what you think?" He asked, but the question was out of genuine concern. He didn't want to overwhelm Karma with too much, with how touchstarved the other was. "That would be considered 'intimate' to some, you know. How feisty are you feeling?" He asked, a cheshire-like grin on his face.

Karma instinctively wanted to argue that Xander should not have been so forgiving for attacking him. To this day, the angel had felt terribly guilty for the way he behaved. He wanted to insist that Xander should hold a grudge against him at least, but arguing would not get him anywhere. He couldn't force his partner to dislike his actions. It was a selfish way of thinking. When Xander had thought aloud about "rising to Heaven", Karma laughed again. He did not think of his ideas as stupid, but it was definitely a first. He never thought that he would hear a demon want to un-demonize themselves to become more holy. "Well," the angel began as he looked up at the ceiling thoughtfully. "I suppose if you were to become human, I would try to do the same." The thought of the pair living their lives as typical humans made him smile.

Everything would be so much simpler. They would continue their normal jobs, buy their own home together, get married and build a family. Even the idea of growing old with Xander sounded lovely. He suppose they could have that life, but it would be rather complicated. Balancing his duties as angel was the main thing holding them back. It made the male wonder. "Perhaps you could. Temporarily at least. If you actually wanted to become human for a week or so, I'm sure there is a spell or potion that can make that happen." Then, Karma rubbed the back of his neck. Another nervous habit he had before asking something that he thought was embarrassing. "If you really wanted to, maybe we could have a long weekend and both of us turn human. That's something to consider, I suppose..."

Hearing Xander's suggestion made the angel shrink. Was he too excited? Perhaps he was moving much too fast. He didn't want to make Xander uncomfortable. Karma laughed awkwardly with him as he began moving away. "Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry," he apologized. He supposed he was inexperienced. At first, Karma almost teased Xander for knowing as little as he did. But he remembered that the demon was now fully merged with his former self, who was almost a thousand years old. He was sure that throughout his long life, he had been through a multitude of relationships. It made Karma feel even more awkward for not having as much experience. He kissed Xander back each time he pecked his lips.

When he suggested the french kiss, he nodded as his smile slowly disappeared. He could feel his heart pounding against his chest. He closed his eyes and waited for Xander to lean in again. At first, the kiss felt like any other one. It was when he felt Xander's tongue that he felt a bit taken back. He did not feel uncomfortable or strange, but it took him some time to get used to. Karma allowed his tongue to press against his, and followed his lead. When Xander pulled away, he felt as if he wasn't ready. He could go for so much longer. He opened his eyes and looked up at him. He smiled gently at his question and gave out a short, quiet laugh. "Can you do it again, except..." he stopped himself to grab Xander's waist and pulled him onto the bed. Making it so Xander could now be leaning over him as Karma's body laid beneath him. "Can you kiss me like this?"

Becoming human huh? living life as simple, normal human. Who lived a short life and only had to worry about making money so they didn't starve. Growing old, with Karma by his side, that sounded like bliss. "If I can find a way, I'm pretty sure you could." Xander grinned in agreement. He hummed at the thought. "I mean, I've been technically living as a human for 15 years now. I never was able to use a lot of my Demonic powers, nor did I have a use for them. So a weekend would be nothing." He chuckled. "But thats a nice idea though, just humans, just the two of us on a proper vacation. Might need to talk to Rosemary or Mother but I'm sure theres something we could do." He hummed in thought. He would need Mother and Moraz to go through the many books in Fathers library. If father would even allow them access-wait who was he kidding? Of course he'd let mother have access.

"Hey hey, don't be sorry. I'm all for doing anything more than safe for work, but I'd rather not have you overwhelmed. Which is why I want to go slowly. If you feel comfortable, we can go as far as you're willing to go. Okay?" He smiled. "And, look, I may have only had like... 3 human boyfriends, and even less boyfriends back in hell, but unlike you, I looked up everything I needed. Well, I know how to pleasure someone when in hell and did more reasearch after I lost my memories, but that doesn't matter." He said, a blush dusting his cheeks. There was a reason in hell, why he never dated anyone. And that was because if he wanted to date anyone, his mother would have to aprove. And his Mother never aproved anyone he brought home. And she would know if he tried to date someoen without them meeting her. Didn't stop himself to learning everything he needed to know to make someone happy in bed. Mother encouraged it, even. By... Giving him books... full of spells for that exact thing. That was embarrassing, but she was trying to help he supposed.

Xander couldn't help but smile when Karma followed his instructions and grinned when Karma asked for it again. So obviously Karma liked it. But he didn't expect to be pulled ontp the bed, and he found himself on top of Karma. He looke dodnw at Kamra bewildered, but let out a short laugh. Little fucking minx. "Oh Angel, you tempt me so well, I'd have mistaken you for a demon." He chuckled, not really meaning those words. He could fel his tail waving from side to side in happiness, and he bent down to kiss Karma again, manouvering so he as still cupping Karmas face and it was almost instantly a french kiss. his other hand that was helping him keep his balance on the bed, moved and found Karma's own hand, and he linked their hands together, pulling up to it was next to karma's head, he pulled away again, eventually, and grinned down at Karma.

"Is that what you wanted, my love?" He asked, putting his forhead to Karma's. "Just ask, and I will do my best to give you want you want." he promised, voice a lot quieter but a lot more sensual. "If you want to go further, we'd have to start getting undressed, you know." He grinned, teasing, before diving in for another deep and sensual kiss. the hand cupping Karmas face, slowly traveled down, over the top Karma wore, until it got to the hem, then slowly danced upwards, under the top. never going to far, never going past the ribcage, but they were there, and Karma had a hand free to urge him to do more or less if he so chose. this time he didn't pull away from the kiss, instead he tilted his head slightly to deepen the kiss, and moved so that Karma has a leg between Xander's, and Xander had a lag between Karma's. His knee gently rose to more intimate areas, not going too far but Karma would know of its presence. Xander smirked into the kiss.

Karma gave out a breathless laugh at Xander's bewilderment. It was like his entire body was moving on its own. He felt light, as if his body would begin levitating off of the bed any minute now. He was thinking if responding, but he decided to let the other kiss him instead. This time, his was less nervous and more confident. He closed his eyes again and brought his hand to the back of Xander's head. His fingers entangled into his ginger hair as his pair loosened in Xander's grip. He never knew how much he needed this, but this was such a relief for him. Almost therapeutic in a way. It made him curse himself for not taking this chance sooner. Perhaps he wouldn't be as stressed as he was now.

When Xander pulled away, Karma made a small noise. Was it a whimper? A whine? He was even surprised he could make such a noise. But he wanted to keep going, so he was awfully disappointed when Xander moved away. "Could we?" Karma asked as he looked up at the demon. "I'll tell you if I ever feel uncomfortable." He looked up at Xander with a sort of pleading look. Similar to how a dog would look when begging for some food. His hand moved from Xander's hand to his shirt as well. His hand moving underneath the others shirt to feel over his chest. And from there, the night seemed to fade away.

___________

The next morning arose, but Karma did not wake up immediately like he usually did. After last night, he was exhausted. So it took him a little while to come to his senses. The sunlight shining in his face from the cracked window blinds was what woke him up. His eyes opened slowly. He felt warm. So warm that he did not want to get out of the bed. He noticed that his head was laying on top of Xander's chest. Karma could hear his steady heart beating against his chest. It was comforting, to say the least. He felt safe and protected. Something that he had rarely as he grew older. Karma's arms were wrapped around Xander's waist, but he unwrapped them so he could sit up. He looked down at Xander and placed a kiss in his forehead. Hoping that was enough to wake him up. "Morning," he says gently. "We should probably start packing. We have to check out soon."

Karma sat himself up to realize that he was missing his clothes. He hurried to pull some boxers then let out a sigh. Now for the moment of truth. He forced his wings out of his back. He turned slowly to look, and gave out a sigh of relief. His feathers were still white. "I suppose you were right," he says before turning towards Xander. "I wonder how that works. How can Heaven only making an exception for only one angel? It's rather strange..:"

Xander smiled when he could feel the nervous energy from Karma almost drain out of him, like a sink of water going down the drain. It made him happy to know that Karma was enjoying what was happening, and he felt giddy when it seemed Karma was so into it, he whined when they parted. He fucking whined. Karma doesn't whine, at least thats what he thought and was happily proven wrong. And then, Xander realised how weak he was to Karma. Specifically, Karma pleading, almost begging for them to do more. And Xander was weak, he gave in easily. He smiled, nodding, letting Karma explore as much as he desired.

"We... will take this slowly. I will lead and show you the pleasures of laying in bed with your significant other, but tell me exactly the second you feel uncomfortable." He murmured into the others ear, pressing kisses down the Angels neck and back up to slot his own mouth to Karmas. He assissted in everything, almost doing everything himself, making sure that his love was comfortable and safe the entire time. And, he held onto the declaration he made, taking it slow and steady throughout the night until they both fell asleep.

___________

Morning came way too quickly. A Demon could survive on no sleep for long periods of time, but that didn't mean they didn't like to sleep. Xander has a bad habbit falling into the Sin of the Sloth without meaning to because he liked to sleep. But, he was also the kidn of guy who hated sleeping when the sun was up, unless for reasons that meant he was too tired to do anything else but sleep of course. And, because the angel was consistant to almost a fault, of course they both woke up at the same time. Only Xander refused to acknowledge the world, while Karma got up regardless. He felt cold when Karma got off of his chest, but hummed happily at the kiss on his forehead. At the suggestion of packing he scrunched his face up. Not in disgust but a 'oh god no please' kind of way.

Xander blinked open and watchd the wings, still pure white as ever, erupt fron the holes in the Angels back. "I told you~ Now, come back to bed. We can cuddle for five more minutes." He grumbled, patting the bed beside him as he turned over onto his side. He yawned, covering his mouth with his hand before suggesting his own idea. "Prolly cause your heavens weapon AND an Angel with emotions. Emotional Angels are more likely to Fall, especially when they're brought up around humans. Why they'd keep you as heavens weapon I don't know, but eh. Angels are confusing. You can ask later, You might be a child compared to literally everyone else, but you have just a right to know as they do since it, you know, concerns your wellbeing after all. Now come back here so I can cuddle you damn it." He pouted, making grabby hand motions towards Karma, avoiding the wings in the process.

Karma rolled his eyes at Xander's suggestion in moving back into the bed. He could do whatever he wanted to, including to fall for such laziness. But that didn't mean that Karma wanted to try everything under the Sun. The angel still had morals, and sitting around doing nothing would be supporting those. He looked over the demon. He watched him try to lure him over by being cute and pleading. As much as he wanted to decline Xander, he couldn't force himself to do it. So, Karma scoffed as he folded his wings back in. "Fine. But make it three minutes," he huffs. He laid back onto his spot of the bed. His arms wrapped around Xander's waist as his head laid back onto the demon's chest. He listened to the soft beats of Xander's heart. It was soothing, as strange as it might sound. It was a reminder to Karma that he had someone real to protect him. Or at least, someone who loved him.

He laid in silence for a moment. His body relaxing into Xander's as it took in the warm sun rays peeking through the window blinds. Karma could feel his eyelids begin to droop, and sure enough he dozed off again. He was still very much exhausted from the night before and it was clear from his slumber. However, his nap didn't last long. In fact, he was probably asleep for only five minutes before he jolted himself up. His mind had caught onto what his body was trying to do, so he tried to force himself up. "Mmm, you make it harder to get up," he mumbled to Xander as he adjusted himself. His thumb rubbing Xander's side gently as he looked off to the distance.

"Do you remember how you said that you would try to find a way to 'rise' from Hell?" Karma asked suddenly. It was a comment that had stuck in the angel's head. The thought of becoming mortal, even for a little while, had always intrigued him. So much that Karma was considering to ask his sister if she could help make that possible. "You said that you would do whatever it takes, including becoming human. Did you really mean that?" He sat himselt up to look down at Xander. His pale eyes meeting Xander's green ones. As if searching for the answer to pop up in his pupils. "I've been thinking that perhaps we should consider that as an option. Of course, not a permanent option. I have a duty to serve Heaven. But maybe for a few days. Just enough to give us a proper 'reset'." Then, the angel shrugged before laying back down. "It's just a thought. I understand if you think it's silly."

A deep sigh came from his lungs. Maybe going back to sleep wasn't such a bad idea. He grabbed his phone from the nightstand to check the time, then jolted back up from the bed. "BLOODY-" he cut himself off from yelling, and instead moved quickly around the room to gather their stuff. "Xander! We've got five minutes to clock out before they start over-charging us! Hurry up and get ready!" Karma was frantic and confused. How did he let this happen? Usually he was very good about his timing. He could've sworn that he only laid down for five minutes. Where did the time go? He wasn't particularly excited over clocking out on time, but more so on missing the free breakfast. He wanted at least a good bowl of oatmeal before they began their journey home.

Xander couldn't help but humm happily when Karma relented, cradelling the Angel close to this chest and practically wrapping the Angel up in his arms and the blankets. a hand came up to run thought Kamra's hair and in a way it was like Xander was trying to protect the Angel from an unseen force. In reality, Xander just wanted to cuddle Karma before Karma wanted to move around again. He lifted his hand to run it through Karma's hair, petting him and hoping that Kamra would relax enough to be too sleepy to notice time passing. And surprisingly enough, he did. He fell asleep quickly, probably needing it, and Xander couldn't help but grin. He let Karma doze without aking him of the time, and stretched an arm out.

The movement was simple, a small twirl of his fingers, and everything was moving of their own violation. Their clothes and anything of major importance was put away into their bags, a simple spell he picked up early on, mostly to help keep his brothers rooms tidy when they were too busy to do anything else. the amount of times htey got mad at him for 'putting something in the wrong spot' and that he 'cleaned the room wrong' in which he responded with a 'clean the room yourself then'. Ahh, kids. They were only a few hundred years younger than him, but he still saw them as kids. it was barely a few moments and the room was already cleanred up, the only evidence that someone was there was the two of them in the bed. They had about an hour until they had to go, so he was content in letting Karma nap. Hell, he was planning on waking Karma up until the Angel woke up himself with a start. He couldnt' help but chuckle at the complaint.

"What can I say? I'm tempting~" He grinned. He listened to Karma talk and let out an interested hum. "Of course. I'm stuck on earth, I can't exactly go to heaven or hell. So of course I'd chose to be human if I could. If i was a full human, the Angels would have no reason to attack me. I could live normally, with my parents. And you. If you were human with me, My feelings wouldn't change in the slightest." He hummed in thought. Being uman... would be nice. A human with now underlying demonic stuff, just a full human, no additional possibilties of being whatever. That'd be nice. He met Kamras eyes, his own soft and gentle. "Temporary human time. If there was such a way, I'd go for it. but I wanna go first, I wanna touch your wings. without the whole burning part because I'm a demon."" He chuckled. Man, to be a human to only touch Karma's wings? That was something he'd do in a heartbeat.

He couldn't help but jolt when Kamra yelled out, and watched as Karma frantically tried to pack up and Xander sighed, finally sitting up and getting out of the very warm bed. "Karma. Karma, my love, my heart, sunshine. Calm." He said, grabbing onto Karma's hands gently. "You napped just under an hour, I packed up for us. Look." He said, cooking a finger and his bag floated over to him. "Its the only reason my room is so clean when I hate cleaning. We're fine, I was going to wake you up if you didn't wake up in time." He placated. "We can still get something to eat, we're not behind at all, don't worry." He said, flicking a wrist and the bed simply made itself. He started usuring Karma out of the room, so that they could clock out properly.

care_less care_less

Karma let out a short snort as he heard Xander's request to become human first. He never understood the other's interest in feeling his wings. After all, that's all they were. White, feathered wings that could easily be found on a dove. Sure they were soft, but definitely not extraordinary. But he never spoke against Xander's wishes. He had to remember that Karma was most likely the first angel he has gotten close with. He had no doubt that the other had killed numerous angels throughout his life as a demon. But he didn't believe that he thought of stroking their wings. There were many demons that became obsessed with the idea of angels. Karma has heard and met a few. Ones who want to possess and become one, others that collect their wings. He's even heard of especially powerful or dangerous ones keeping some angels as hostages and think of them as pets. Whether the strange obsession was, Karma doubted that Xander was one of them. But he didn't think of it as any less strange. "If you want," he says with a shrug and a yawn. "We can ask Rosemary about it when we visit her. If she doesn't know, perhaps you can ask your mother."

When Karma was stopped, he snapped his head towards Xander. He had an unintentional look of irritation and coldness. Though, he wasn't worried that he wad acting too harsh. He was sure that Xander had been used to Karma's affection-less ways by now. He listened to the demon and noticed that he was right. Their clothes and items were all packed away neatly. In fact, their entire room was cleaned up. One would expect Karma to be grateful or relieved that his boyfriend had gotten ready so quickly. Instead, the exact opposite happened. "So," he began as his pale eyes narrowed at Xander, "you have cleaned up everything an hour ago, and didn't wake me up?" His tone was slow and threatening. It sounded as if he could snap at any moment. Which at the time, was very likely. "Which means...that I could've had not one bowl of oatmeal, but TWO by now?"

He moved his hand away from Xander's hold, and used it to smack him on the side of the head. How DARE he mess with his premium oatmeal time? He pushed up his glasses before glaring at Xander. Oh had he done it now. "If there are no more cranberries or walnuts for me to put in my oatmeal, I'll make you regret it," he told Xander harshly. He grabbed his suitcase before exiting the hotel room. It was definitely the hunger talking. Typically, Karma would have shrugged it off. He would have thanked Xander, perhaps give him a shy kiss, then walk out to their rental car calmly. But Karma without his oatmeal is like any normal person without their coffee with a little more aggression.

Luckily for the both of them, the hotel's breakfast was far from over. And even better, there were still plenty of walnuts and cranberries for Karma to enjoy a few bowls of warm oatmeal. He decided to be responsible first. He checked out of their hotel room and returned the room's keys. But once he was done, straight to the eating area he went. Karma grabbed a bowl of oats, put in some dried cranberries and walnuts, then filled it with boiling water. He even decided to sprinkle in some maple sugar in as well just to give him that extra boost. He found a table hidden in the corner of the room (for Karma tried to keep himself away from being in the center of the room as possible), and say himself down. His luggage sat safely besides him as he dug into his food. Giving out a long, satisfied sigh after the first spoonful.

Cosmic_Chaos Cosmic_Chaos

While Xander wasn't unused to Karma being cold or dismissive, he wasn't used to the angry tone Karma used at him. It was rare for Karma to get angry, He blinked, confused, he was sure the confusion was clear as day on his face. "O-Oatmeal? You mean the meal you can make whenever you want?" He asked, confused and nervous. "Besides, you seemed like you needed the sleep. Hell, I had to move around and you didn't wake up." He said, trying to defend himself. "I was going to wake you up before we were late, If I knew you wanted to eat, I would have woken you up sooner." He said earnestly. He was fairly sure Angels didn't need to eat, a lot like Demons, but they could. So, Xander was confused.

Karma seemed to get even more angry at him though, even going so far as to smack him. Thankfully, Karma didn't seemed so mad that he made the smack hurt, it mostly moved his head more than anything. But the fact that Karma got upset at him... over oatmeal... to the point of smacking him even gently, that was just very confusing for him. He watched as Karma left and he... didn't know how to feel. There was a mess of emotions, and he knew that he had to talk to Karma about... well, everything that just happened, but he doubted Karma would look in his direction. He knew that Karma liked to have breakfast, and specifically always had oatmeal. But he didn't think it would be something that he could get actively angry about... without thinking about it, he sat down in front of the door, resting his bag to the side of him and curling up. He was fine, he didn't do anything wrong, this was something they could talk about when Karma was calmer. Not feeling prepared in the slightest, he got up and slowly followed the Ange, but kept a distance.

He watched as Karma signed them out and went straight to the food bar. It wasn't often that Xander felt out of place, but he felt that sticking with Karma while he was still... however he was feeling might be a bad Idea. He refused to do what he used to do before he was banished, which was to call out and borderline pick a fight to anyone that wasn't mother for getting angry at him. No, Mum and dad had taught him better than that. Communication was key, but patience was always a virtue. He'll just wait in the car. They both have the keys to it anyway, so its not as though as he couldnt' get in. He let his magic subtly swirl around him, quiet and slow, letting it mask over him, hiding him from view. Illusions was his speciality after all. Anyone who saw him, if they paid attention at all, wouldn't notice if he disapeared. And like that, he left the hotel, making his way to the car.

He got into the back, knowing that Karma might be a while, and curled up. He sent Karma a text.

[Hey, I'll be at the Car. Tyt with breakfast, we're not in a rush. <3]

He sighed and stretched out a bit on the seats. He couldn't stretch too far with his lanky legs, but it didn't bother him. He liked the feeling of being curled up after all. He leaned against the seat, materalising a wing to curl around him. He supposed he shouldn't be too surprised he was dragged out of the 'honeymoon phase' uncerimoniously. He was a romantic at heart, and Karma was anything but romantic. He could be, but that didn't mean he was always going to be. He sighed, bringing his legs closer to him and his tail that he never vanished curled around his ankles like a cats tail. He took his phone and went to Moraz's texts.

[is there a way to become human? For a Demon or Angel to become a human? Temporary or permanantly?]
He sent, not expecting a message back soon. He had no idea how Technology would work in the Demon realm, and the likely hood of Moraz going back home was very likely knowing mother. But, he got a text back in nor even a minute. Or more like, a series of texts in the span of 30 seconds.

[Oh hi Vikky!]
[Why'd you ask???]
[Uhh, I think theres a kind of potion?]
[But its a really hard-to-make one, and the ingredients are a nightmare to get because you need both Divine and Demonic ingredients, and it doesn't last long.]
[Idk about a permanant one tho.]
[I can ask mother tho]
[Also!!! Dyk that we can get access to human internet from in the Demon realm??]
[Mums thinking of getting everyone a phone so its easier to keep track of everyone!!!]
[Imagine Father using a phone!!! Omg you two could talk out your differences over text!!!!]

He blinked, before laughing. Oh Moraz you Goof. He grinned as he typed back.

[Idk man, Idk if Father would want anything to do with me. But it'd be nice to talk to Cael and Leuth, as nightmareish as they are to deal with. I wonder what Astran's thoughts on everything, knowing the fucker probably glad I'm gone.] He replied, Moaz replying almost instantly

[Lol, Astran wants you back dude.]
[Mother says that sicne you're gone, he's the one who has to take up 'oldest brother duties'.]
[So he's doing all the odd jobs Mother used to make you do.]
[He sucks so badly at fighting, I trained with him and outlasted him in mothers training!]
[Ik I used to do it with you, but still! He's the 2nd prince!!!!]
[He's been complaining for ages now, and it hasn't even been two whole decades since you've left!]
[If he gets too desperate he might even talk to Father. You know he is Fathers Favourite after all.]
[But... If father commands you home, what you going to do?]

That... Thats shocked him. Astran hated him. Called him pampered and a 'goody too shoes' and 'mothers precious son'. Astran always mocked him when he was forced to check up on the younger. But, Moraz wasn't wrong, Astran was Father's favourite. If anyone could get Father to change his mind, it would be Astran. And Astran loved to use his brothers in all of his schemes, so he would not be surprised if he managed to convince Cael and Leuth into helping him.

[I'd tell him to fuck off. Father is an asshole, a prideful fucker who would probably go 'Ah, thelvik. I'll agree to lift your ban if you appologise to him and make an oath to never betray me or go against me' and like, fuck that noise man. I'm happy here. I got Karma, i got my human parents, I got an adorable lil sister from another mister, and I can still talk to you and Mother. I dont' need or want to go back home, and Father can't make me.]
He typed out. And it was true.

[Lmao, Mother is reading this behind my shoulder and called you a brave idiot for saying that.]
[Just thought I should let you know, bro.]
[Oh! and mother says that there might be a ritual to change into a human permanantly, but she doesn't reccomend it because it requires like, 3 human sacrifices, Angels blood, More misc items that are hard to obtain, and its more painful than having your soul ripped to shreds.]

Oh, that last part doesn't sound too fun.

[Is that just a Demon to Human? What about an Angel to human?]

Might as well ask.

[Mother says that its the same thing just change the blood. So Angel for Demon, Demon for Angel.]
[She says its cause you need the opposite to neutralise what you are. So Angels blood will neutralise the Demon, and vice versa. Thats also why its painful. The human sacrifices are the power for the ritual, and the other stuff are stabalizers. So that nothing goes wrong. But like, there hard-to-get items, so like, Unicorn hoofs? A Specific Dragon scale? Sirens tears? Wild shit, and not the kind of easy tuff you get either. And thats what Mother remembers reading about, half of that might be wrong. She'll have to look for hte book again.]

Xander couldn't help but chuckle. Of course Mother remembered the majority of the needed materials but then claims 'that might be wrong' because she hasn't read the book. but he oculd bet that all the items listes were 100% nessissary.

[Thanks dude. and Thanks Mother. Oh, since you're both near, I should mention that me and Karma started dating]
That got a responce

[ASDFGHJKL]
[CONGRATS1!!!! OMG SO PROUD!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!]
[Oh uh, Mother says 'called it'. I think she knew.]

He laughed, happy that if anything, Moraz and Mother was on his side.

care_less care_less (The plot just wrote itself lmao. sorry for the long post)

Xander was right, angels didn't need to eat in order to survive. But there was something comforting to Karma about making the exact same oatmeal every morning. It was the only normal thing he had growing up. It gave him a sense of consistency, especially after getting adopted into a new family. He had this thought in the back of his head that if he did not get the same brand of oatmeal with cranberries and walnuts, that something would come to kill him. It was a strange and absurd thought, Karma was well aware. But that did not make him any less nervous. Now that he had shoveled down half of his breakfast, he began to realize how obsessive his behavior was. He managed to push off the one person that gave him healthy comfort.

Karma let out a long sigh, his eyes looking down at his bowl. 'Perhaps its time that I spoke with a human therapist,' he thought to himself. But he quickly discarded the idea. Attending therapy would be more productive if he was completely honest and see-through. And he couldn't do that without making himself seem more sick than he actually was. He didn't need Xander seeing him in a white room with the word "psychopath" written on his forehead. 'Maybe a supernatural therapist. Do those exist?' he thought to himself. He never heard of such a thing, but he was sure one had to exist. Maybe he could ask Rosemary once they were alone. And if not, reach out to Moraz without Xander worrying. He didn't notice until he felt his spoon scrape at nothing that he had finished his food. Karma rolled his eyes at himself. Here he was again, stuck in his own head. He brought his dirty silverware and bowl over towards the dirty bin. He was just about to leave, but stopped himsef just before he could walk out. The LEAST he could do was grab something for Xander to munch or sip on. He made some hot black tea for him and grabbed a banana on his way out. Once he reached their rental car, he opened the trunk to throw his luggage in. Once it was situated, he moved to the driver's seat. He handed Xander the tea and fruit, then started up the car.

"I'm sorry...about getting frustrated and hitting you," he apologized. As flat as his voice was, the poor angel was genuine. His head hung down slightly, much like a sad puppy. "That was a very stupid thing for me to get upset over. You were only trying to help. I like things to happen in a certain order, so when that order breaks I begin to panic. It was wrongful of me to act the way I did. Please take the tea and banana as an apology gift." He said the last part to hopefully get Xander to chuckle and lighten the mood. After all, they were about to spend another long trip together as they traveled back home. With that, he pulled out of the hotel's parking lot and made his way towards Rosemary's shop. Usually it wasn't open during this time of day. She never needed to, for her customers were mainly night crawlers. But she had told Karma earlier that she would be open only to pick up a shipment and send the pair off.

Like before, it did not take long for Karma to drive over. But when they arrived, it seemed as though the "shipment" had beat them to it. As Karma parked and left the vehicle, he could instantly sense the presence of two demons. His guard went up immediately. He looked around first to make sure none where hiding, than turned to Xander. "Let's be careful, yeah?" he says before moving into the shop. Karma then realized why he could feel a demonic presence. It was because the "shipment" was being dropped off by such. One female with long curly hair reaching to her waist, and a male with a low fade. They seemed to notice Xander and Karma's presence as well, and shot both of them a quick look. Both of them were mean looking. They appeared to be older than both of them, but that was only because Xander had the appearance of a college student. "Ah, sorry about them," Rosemary apologized from behind the counter. "That's my younger brother. I'm sure you can recognize the other one."

"It's a little obvious, yeah," the female spoke. But she turned away and smiled at the fallen angel. "We'll come again in a few days. Do you still want angel meat?" the female asked. "Ah, would you mind switching it to demon? It's more in demand?" The female demon laughed softly. "Of course we don't mind! We owe you, anyways." Rosemary smiled softly at her. "Brilliant, I'll see you then." The two embraced for a moment, leaving the male to continue glaring at Xander and Karma. As the pair left, the female demon gave Rosemary a kiss on the cheek and waved to her. Then walked swiftly past Xander and Karma with the male demon following behind. Once they were gone, Karma walked up to her. "So you're friends with demons now?" he remarked instinctively, which made Rosemary snort. "Says the one dating one." She then moved her attention towards Xander and smiled at him. "How are you feeling? Your head doesn't hurt still, does it? No side effects?" Rosemary looked over Xander just to be sure that the healing was successful. "You seem okay, but if you ever need ANYTHING, please let me know," she says in a soft tone.

Her eyes moved towards Karma, then back at Xander. She smirked evily. "What is it?" she asked, which made Karma look at her sideways. "Pardon?"
"You two look like you're up to trouble. Did you need something?" Karma sighed. She was always good with reading people. He could mistake her for a demon if he didn't know any better. "Actually, we were wondering if you could create something that would make us mortals...temporarily." Rosemary snickered, which made Karma even more confused. "You're joking, right? Xander, he is joking right?"

He couldn't help but be a little tense when he noticed Karma coming to the car, but managed to relax with a few inhales and reading Moraz' spam texts for a chuckle. He waited in silence as Karma put his bags away, Xanders was with him at the back seat, and sat down in the drivers seat. He took the tea and banana, but he was a little bit confused at the gifts. He wasn't very hungry at the moment, but he'll take the tea. He perked up when Karma started apologising, not expecting it. He couldn't help but give out a little chuckle as the appology gift was food and a drink. "I'm not angry or upset with you. I was.. confused. You got angry at me for letting you sleep in and cleaning up our stuff, saying you wanted Oatmeal. Which si confusing because you can make it any time, anywhere. You stocked my fridge with pre-made pancake batter, I'm fairly certain you could have just opened a cupboard and had your oatmeal premade." He said, explaining his thoughts. "Again, not angry. just confused. but, I can understand though, some people really like a specific consistancy in their life, and freak out at the smallest changes. I... don't understand the feeling, but I undertsand that it exists." He shrugged.

He sipped on the Tea, while he sat behind Kamra's seat. He didn't move into the front seat because that was a hassle and he felt comfortable. He smiled, before leaning forward and kissing Karma on the cheek. "You're forgiven, my love." He cooed, pressing another kiss, and another, and another, until Kamra pushed him away and started driving. He grinned, and moved around in the back freely, not worried about getting hurt with lack of seatbelts. He would never do this with anyone else other than Kamra in the car, however. They got to Rosemarys shop with ease, and he hopped out the car with Karma. Like Karma, his also sensed the two demons, lower leveled, but still fairly strong. If they wern't suicidal, they wouldn't attack the pair of them in the slightest. He paid less to their outer apearance, although he couldnt' help but oggle the males arms. The Male demon didn't seem to like his apreciative glances, however, and seemed to glare even harder. Rude much?

Xander couldnt' help but chuckle at how obvious he apparently was. "My bad~" He said in a 'I'm not sorry' tone. He watched the two Demons leave, he took an apreciateve glace to the males behind. Mhm, nice tush. But, he quickly focused his attention on KArma nad Rosemary, laughing at the exhange. "Let Rosemary have her friends, love." He chuckled, and sighed at rosemarys questions. "I'm fine. Well, there was one wild side effect, but it wasn't a bad one. You see, the human bain can store a lot of memories, but humans can only use 10% of it. with 900 years worth of memories, the brain would have broke if it wasn't for me using demon magic. Subsequently, I became a full demon, which I wasn't aware about until I accidentally touched Karma's wings and got burnt on my skin. I then had to force out my wings, horns and tail through my skin, and the horns and wings hur so badly." He explained, whining at the end. "I'm fine now, little achey on the wings but nothing I can't live with. It makse sense since they're moving freshly healed skin." He shrugged. His tail swished from side to side.

"but don't worry, we will come to you if we need something. I'm... fairly certain I can teleport. I just need to test my limits." He shrugged with a gentle smile. He couldn't help but laugh when Rosemary seemed to already know what was on their minds, however. He chuckled at her questioning and shook his head. "No, he isn't. I know there is a potion that can temporarily make us mortal, hold up, Moraz said something..." He trailed off looking at his phone quickly. "It requires both Demonic and Divine items, its hard to make. Mother might know the recipie... I'ma ask for it." He said, typing for a moment and getting a slew of messages from Moraz being Moraz. Then he got a text from an unknown number.

[Thelvik, dear, this is your Mother.]

"Oh fuck yes, Got mothers number. Making a chat~" He sung to himself as mother sent him the whole recipie. He made a chat that was Him, his mother and Moarz, named it the 'fam with Common sense' and then looked at the whole recipe. "Oh shit that is a wild recipie. I could probably help with that." He hummed, giving his mother a slew of thanks you's and love you's, before, taking a screenshot of the recipie and showing said screenshot to Rosemary. "I got a recipie. The things you can get when you're the favourite child o the Queen of Hell." He chuckled. "Oh, Karma, there is a way to turn permanantly human, but like, its not fun. Painful, 3 human sacrifices, hard-to-obtain rare items, its just... not worth it." He explained a little bit sheepishly.

care_less care_less

Karma nodded when Xander had claimed to be confused. He couldn't blame hin. If Xander were to suddenly snap about not drinking a specific soda, he would've had the same reaction. "I wasn'y necessarily upset at the oatmeal," Karma admitted. He took a moment to think. He needed to find the proper words to describe what went on in his head, which was much more difficult than he would've liked. "I was more upset that I didn't get to keep my routine. It's the one thing that I can control. I can't control Heaven. I can't control my mistakes. But what I can do is clean up, make the bed, and make some oatmeal. I guess when you did that for me, I kind of lost it." He was about to glance over at Xander, but decided against it. The other was too far back to look at without crashing the car. So he glanced up at the rear view mirror instead. "I know you were only trying to help me, but I like do certain things a certain way. Things like cleaning or cooking is something that I do so I don't snap. Heaven has been testing me lately. I don't want to lose my cool in front of you."

At Xander's forgiveness kisses, Karma graned as if he was annoyed. But in reality, he was enjoying them. His smile could not be hidden, so it gave his secret love for the bombardment of kisses. "Hey, no distracting the driver!" he chuckled before pushing the other back lightly. Last thing he needed was to get into a car accident. Though he knew both of then would survive one and heal quickly, he honestly didn't want to deal with a few broken bones and a messed up head for a few days.

Rosemary had been eager to listen to Xander. However, it wasn't truly out of worry. Although she didn't want the other severely injured, she doubted that she needed to concerned. After all, this was the prince of Hell. If Lucifer were to drop dead, Xander (or Thelvik) would take the throne. She figured that the demon had been through much worse than a soul-healing session. Instead, she was listening out of curiosity. Part of her wanted to hear if the othwr had strange side effects. She always wanted to know how a heir of Satan's body worked. God would she love to strap him onto a table and experiment his body. But of course, she controlled herself. She had just gotten her brother back. She did not want to lose him again simply because of her chaotic cravings. "That's wonderful! Well, it's not wonderful that you had felt discomfort, but wonderful that you had experienced nothing extraordinary," she says with a soft smile.

When Rosemary was told that the two were in fact, not joking, she gave out a short laugh. "You pair are something else, truly. Being that one of you is an archangel, and the other a Lucifwr spawn, you'd think that you two would be a lot smarter." Karma squinted his eyes at her. That was rude. Was he always as blunt as her? "What's the issue?" Karma asked as he watched his sister pull out a lighter and a pack of cigarettes. "There are multiple. I suppose the most obvious one is that anyone who wants you dead will do so while you are vulnerable. Neither of you will be able to protect yourselves. Another is the actual transformation of the actual potion. Do you understand how painful that is?" Her eyes turned towards Xander as she grabbed a cigarette and brought it to her lips. "Especially you. Karma only has wings. You will have wings, horns, and a tail to be worried about."

"And why does he have to be worried. It's not as if someone is cutting them off," Karma questioned, which made Rosemary laugh again. "No, but it'll feel like someone is ripping them out. I couldn't imagine a worse pain besides burning alive," she responded. She lit the end of her cigarette before taking a long drag. She had the windows open in her shop, so it would avoid making her store smell too hideous. "Though, I suppose being skinned alive is a close one as well..." Realizing that she was off topic, she blinked and turned back towards Xander. She looked over his phone to read the recipie and snickered. "I believe that I can make it, but I can't do it for you for free." Karma sighed. He was already testing her kindness enough by asking her to heal Xander. He had no problem paying her if that's what it took. "How much do you want for it?" he asked. Rosemary thought for a moment before smiling. However, this one was much more unsettling than her usual gentle and kind ones. It was sinister and psychotic. One you would expect a monster to have right before it ate you. "You know, I'm sure a pint of archangel and demon hybrid blood would sell wonderfully." Karma looked down at her with disgust. "Really? You would prefer our blood over money?"
"Oh most definitely!" Rosemary replied. "Both of your blood would sell for millions. I have my needs."

Karma sighed, then looked towards Xander. He definitely did not want to become a mortal forever if that including killing innocent humans. So this seemed to be their only option. "Do you want to do it? I don't want you doing anything that you are uncomfortable with."

"Hey, don't worry about it. I get where your coming from. Heaven is stressful, and as someone who has so many duties back home, I can attest that having something you get to do by yourself is something to be protective of. Even if its weird. Like, Back in hell when I was forced to look after my brothers, to train with my sword and crossbow, to train my magic, the only think I found fun? Was reading. Specifically, reading about the human realm, because I never got to go there often. So when I was pulled from my reading, I was often ready to kill because of it." He chuckled, sharing his own experience. It probably wasn't exact, but the thought still stood that he could understand the frustration. He didn't want Karma feeling alone in his feelings. "So really, don't worry about it. I... didn't realise it was a routine for you, I'll make sure to keep in mind next time." He promised. And he would.

Xander laughed at being called 'lucifer spawn' and 'smart'. "Rosemary, Hon, I am anything but smart" He chuckled "I'm more streetsmarts in a fight, but Karma can atest that I'm rather impulsive." He shrugged. He did, however listen to the concerns. Vulnerability? No issue, he literally has Mother and Moraz on his phone. He then looked at the Fallen Angel as she mentioned about his wings. Ripping them out? Eugh. "Since my horns are actually bone, it'd be more like someone sawing them off, and honestly my horns arn't very sensitive. My tail though, aaa, that might actually hurt a bit. My wings... well, thats not going to feel nice." He pouted. "Besides, when I was booted from hell, I basically got blasted into almost nothing. Try having your whole body vaporised, but you can feel every second of it happening almost in slowmotion. And then try and survive as what some would call a wraith or a ghost. I think I'm tolerant to pain. And don't worry about the vulnerability part, Mother is... protective." He chuckled.

"What, a pint of blood? I mean, have no issue. Pain isn't much of an issue, giving blood isn't an issue and I can get mother to keep an eye on us." He shrugged. "So I'm down, but Only if you're up to it, Karma. If you're not going to go through it, I wont." He smiled, Texing his Mother and brother. "Besides, whats a little blood? Okay, Demon/Angel hybrid blood is going to basically be almost priceless, but as long as its not used to put a blood curse on me, I don't care too much." He shrugged. "I did have one Blood curse put on me, but Mother was able to get rid of it and the bitch who put it on me. Apparently, Female demons really don't like it when you try and date their exes, which i've never understood but eh" he shrugged, texting the groupchat he made.

[Might turn human, Mind looking out for me and Karma?]
He typed getting a spam of messages of confirmation from Moraz. No surprise there, Moraz still sort of owed him after all.

[Did I not say that Karma was under my protection as well? I can track you both easily enough, do not fret about being defenceless.]
And he grinned at that. "We'll have the Queen of Hell herself protecting the pair of us if we did decide to turn human. And my youngest brother, but he's only so good at fighting." He grinned, amuse and almost proud. Scratch then, he was rather proud of his baby brother. If he could theoretically fight Astran and possibly win, that was somethign to be proud of. He kind of hoped his mother would teach Moraz how to fight, if she hasn't been already.

Karma smiled softly as he continued their drive. A small snicker came out, so it eas clear that he was trying to suppress laughter. "I'm sorry," he apologized, "It's just hard to imagine you reading for fun." He was teasing Xander, of course. Xander was easy to mess with, much how Karma was easy for Xander to tease as well. "You must've been really bored then," he says with another laugh. He glanced back at Xander again through the rear view mirror. God how he loved him. Xander could be sitting in silence for the entire trip and he would still manage to make everything a little brighter. "Thank you, Xander," Karma says softly. "Sometimes I feel like you're the only one who understands."

Karma had no issue fully committing to their temporary mortality. He looked over Xander for a moment. He loved him more than anything. He would love nothing more than to take a break with him, even if it costed a little pain and some blood. He nodded gently at him, then turned his attention towards Rosemary. "How long will the potion take?" The fallen angel smiled as she began moving towards the back of her store. Beckoning the two to follow her into her office. "Thirty minutes at most. I'll start it while I'm drawing blood. I can only do one at a time, but if he wants to feel your wings, it's best if Xander goes first." Karma shrugged as he sat himself on the opposite side of the room, closer to behind Rosemary's desk.

With that, Rosemary left to get her materials. When she came back, she held a box full of medical supplies. Karma wanted to ask where she could even get this stuff, but decided against it. Knowing her, she would give a vague answer like "I have connections" or "I have my ways". She never gave straight answers, even when they were kids. He knew that she had done so to keep him from worrying to much, but it was slightly annoying that she was trying to protect him when he was much older.

'What is with everyone's obsession with protecting me?'

She wiped a spot on his lower arm before tying on a tourniquet. "If you feel lightheaded at all or have tunneling vision, let me know," she warned Xander. She grabbed the blood bag and began connecting the tubes to the needle and bag. She first pricked his skin to get the first bit of blood out, then inserted the needle into the vein. Once the blood was going into the bag, she taped the needle to the skin and smiled. "Watch out for him. I'll stary getting everything ready," she says to Karma, then left the office. Leaving the pair alone together.

Xander couldn't help but feel only minutely offended that Karma couldn't see him reading. So, of course, he scoffed in an exaggerated and dramatic display of offence. "How dare! I read! I like to read, actually! It just so happens that I find human non fiction boring and anything fiction is often wildly innacurate and a headache to read." He huffed. "I much prefer reading Fanfiction, because then I can actually see imaginative and interesting Ideas bloom from someone elses Idea." He explained. And he wasn't lying, he truely found fanfiction a lot more interesting because some people are so good with the idea they come up with, when forced in a specific setting or cast fo charcters.

Xander let himself be hooked up, monotoneously saying 'ow' but looked amused as he said it. He wasn't scared of needles, but he did hate getting stabbed with them, mostly because his arm always hurt after. "I doubt I'll get tunnelvision over a pint of blood, but will do." he shrugged. he rested his head on the hand that wasn't connected to am arm with a needle sticking out of it, and looked at Karma. "I'm already bored." He chuckled, making grabby hands with one hand. "Cmere, kiss" He pleaded, pouting his lips. Making out would definately not be boring. "You could even sit in my lap if you want~" He grinned, the obvious tease evident. Xander wasn't going to do anything inapropriate, but he did like the idea of them being close physically.

Oh god, he just realised he would be clinging to Karma a lot while they're human, and Karma can only get kind of annoyed at him. "I'ma lready wantin to be human just so I can touch your wings again. Hey, since I turn human first, that means I turn back first, right? Its only fair that you get to feel my wings while you're still human, right? We... will have to time it though..." He chuckled. Its only fair after all. "But! I'm also kind of interested to how your mind works. Cause... we were both playing human for almost two decades now, why do you want to be properly human? I'm not complaining, It'll an interesting experience after all, but still. Being human... is a little bit dull when you're anything but. But you wanna do this, I'm not going to say no.

He then, felt almost very aware at the blood he was currently loosing. He wasn't having a headache, or getting tunnelvision, he just bacame hyperaware of himself and annoyingly enough, rather cold. Normally the cold wouldn't bother him but this felt very internal. So obviously this was because fo the lack of blood but that didn't bother him too much. He wasn't sure hwo to complain without sounding like a petty child so he decided to pout his frustrations out and spread his wings out of cover himself. Thankfully, Karma wasn't on his lap at the moment otherwise he would have just hugged Karma harder. thinking about hugging Karma just made him want to actually hug Karma and he couldn't help the whine fromt he back of his throat. What was his emotions right now? "I wanna hug..." He pouted, childishly.

When Xander had mentioned how bored he was already, Karma responded with a snicker. It was easy for the angel to distract himsef. He could be stuck in his head all day, contemplating things from his existence, to what he wanted for dinner. Xander's need to be entertained was further proof of how opposite the pair were. "Perhaps you should pick up a book," he teased with a shrug. He had pretended to not care, but only did so for a few moments. He didn't want to upset the demon too much. Karma rolled his eyes at Xander's request for a kiss, but complied regardless. He moved from his spot in the corner of the room to lean over Xander. The other's chair was just in front of Rosemary's desk, so he used the furniture behind him to lean his hand on. It was almost as if he was pinning him to the back of the chair. Of course, Karma didn't realize how attractive someone might have taken his actions. After all, he was only leaning down for a kiss.

Standing up, he was much taller than Xander. Even when leaning over and "pinning" him down. So he moved his head down to be better at eye level. His white hair falling over his face as his glasses slid down his nose. "You know, you're annoying sometimes," he teased in a deep, cool voice before kissing the other's lips. It was breif. Nothing too crazy that would make anyone feel awkward if they had walked in. He moved his lips against Xander's, his mouth only opened slightly before pulling himself away. When Xander had mentioned sitting in his lap, whatever spell he was put under was broken. His eyes squinted at Xander judgingly before moving his body back completely. "Yeah, no. I'll take the floor," he says, now taking his spot besides Xander's chair. He was sitting much how a dog would when it was expecting pets. Right besides Xander's thigh would be Karma's head. His eyes now fixated on the wooden boards beneath him.

Hearing Xander's excitement about his wings made his snort. He really didn't see anything special about them. Wings were wings. Every angel or bird had them. He tried to shake his judgment off as quick as they entered his head. It was evident that Xander's love language was physical touch, so it was probably irking him that there was one part of him that he could never touch or cuddle. Karma was less bothered. He really had not desire to touch Xander's wings, tail or horns. If he could, he wouldn't reject it if offered, but it was never something he gave much thought to. "You're a bit excited, aren't you?" he asked Xander as he looked up at him. "My wings are just massive bird feathers. You'll he disappointed once you touch then without pain." At Xander's comment about him turning human first, the angel shrugged. "I suppose, yes. It also means that if we were in a life or death situation, you would be able to save us first." There he went again. Saying things that most people would have kept in their heads to avoid making others uncomfortable. "Not that such would happen," he tried to backpeddle. "We have protection, yeah? We'll be fine..."

As time went past, Xander was beginning to finish up giving away his share of blood. Although the male was a medical student and knew that becoming suddenly cold was normal, Karma could not help but to be worried. He stood himself up immediately and looked over Xander. He reached behind his back for a moment. A white, bright flash came from behind hin before he could bring his hand back out. In his clutch was a fluffy white blanket. Something that he knew he could summon that wasn't holy (despite it coming from Heaven). He wrapped it around Xander, made the other comfortable, then his cheek. "Are you okay? You're almost done, then you can relax for a while before taking the potion," he said softly. By then, Rosemary had returned. She had sweat beads decorating her forehead as her black wavy hair was pulled back into a ponytail. "You should be about done," she says, which made Karma move away from Xander. It gave her room to unhook Xander from the tubes, clean up his wound, and cover it with some cotton and tight gauze. "Don't stand up for a while, or you'll faint," Rosemary urged. She labeled Xander's blood as "Type DAH", then sat Karma down in a separate seat. "The potion is about done. So Xander, once you feel okay, the potions should be ready for you. I'll bring you some water and biscuits to get you balanced."

Then, Rosemary began setting Karma up just as she did with Xander. Once the needle was in and taking his blood, she rushed herself out. Karma turned to look over Xander, making sure he was still okay. "Don't move too quickly. I don't want you to get sick." A few seconds later, Rosemary returned. She handed Xander and bottle of water and a bag of shortbread biscuits. "Eat slowly. This potion your mother gave is rather difficult, so I'm still working on it. I should be done in no more than fifteen minutes," Rosemary said before exiting the room again. Now leaving the two alone once more. This time however, Karma decided to speak first. "How are you feeling? Is your body healing yet?"

He couldn't hold back an amused groan at the tease. That was just mean. How could he?? there wasn't a book he was sure wasn't cursed or allowed to read nearby, and didn't he already explain how most human books were boring? But he could tell Kamra wasn't trying to be mean, he was trying to help distract him in his own way. He watched as the Angel leaned over, almost pinning him to the chair and he couldn't help how his heart skipped a beat for a moment. Karma was more than pinning him to the chair, he was also pinning him with his eyes, those pale, beautifully green eyes could stun anything. He had to try to not swoon, for he was sure Karma would smack him. Xander couldnt' help but grin when called annoying. "Gotta live up to my expectations, no?" He asked, voice a lot more quieter due to how close they were. And he didn't hesitate to kiss back, a hand rising up to cup Karma's cheek to gently stroke it.

Xander couldn't help but chuckle when Karma decided he wanted the cold floor rather than his lap. He couldn't help but run his fingers though the hair that was in reach. Xander gasped dramatically when Kamra said he wouldbe disapointed in Karma's wings. "Love, their your wings. I'll love them as much as I love you, your eyes, your lips..." He trailed off leaning down to whisper something only to pull back and laugh, to show he was joking. "Jokes aside, they look soft and fluffy. And its kind of annoying I can't touch them when I want to." He whined. Karma wasn't wrong thinking his long language was physical touch. It didn't change even when he was booted from Hell, since he found it easier to express his feelings and connect to people through phsyical contact. When Karma decided to bring the mood down a bit, Xander couldnt' help but roll his eyes in amusement. He wasn't mad, this happened a lot, so he was used to it. "A Life and death situation wont happen because we'll be protected. But don't worry, if we did end up in a life or death situation, I'll grab you and teleport out." He grinned.

He was pleasently surprised at the fluffy towel that seemed to come out of nowhere, and forcibly vanished his wings so that he wasn't accidentally going to hit Karma. To say he was a little bit stunned to being bundled up in a fluffy towel would be an understatement. But, the action mad ehim warm, well, as warm as he could get. Karma truely cared, no matter how he acted, and even though he was non human and could very much tank lack of blood and the cold, it was sweet to watch Karma frett over him. "I'm okay, really, just a little bit cold is all." He smiled, eyes soft and he couldn't be surprised if hearts were in his eyes, like those cheesy animes he watched. He grinned when Rosemary came back and said he was done, sighing in relief. "Finally. I'm getting cold over here." He complained, but it was obvious he was only joking around. He let her patch him up, and sighed as he was fussed over. He looked up to Rosemary and nodded when he was told that he could have the potion when he was ready. But! Regain blood first was a must.

He gratefully took the biscuits, eating one slowly, nodding to rosemary to show he was listening. He turned to Karma and smiled. "I'm fine. The hole in my arm is probably already healed. I'll regain blood a lot faster than a normal human, so I'll be alright. I complain but that doesn't mean I'm in danger or anything." He shrugged. He just liked to be vocal about what he saw was minor inconveniences. But he knew that Karma was serious about more or less everything so he'll take his complaints seriously. Which is why he tried to complain a little less than he would if he was by himself or with his parents. Lord knows that his parents are saints to deal with him. "Honestly, give me a few minutes and I should be good to take that potion honestly.2 He shrugged. He also needed to mentally prepare for the pain he was going to endure. His tail should be fine, it didn't hurt when it came out, so eh can only assume it wouldn't hurt much beign taken away. His horns... he hoped that'd be fine. His wings would be the worst, but he's dealt with worse so he wasn't going to complain about it much.

And as he said, a little bit of time, spent mostly eating and offering Karma anything, he felt a lot better. He proceeded to get up with the towel and wrap Karma up in it with a grin. This time he got to make sure Karma was doing okay. Of course, he was going to annoy and distract the Angel by layering an annoying amount of love on the Angel, going so far as to sit in the Angels lap. He did willingly move to the floor however, but instead of like Karma who sat next to him, he sat infront of Karma, Eyes moving to where he was lastnight and back up to Karma's face with a cheeky, cat-got-the-cream grin. He doubted he needed to say much to what he was suggesting.

The other's fingers running through his hair felt a little too good. It gave Karma goosebumps as he leaned into his hand. He closed his eyes and sighed. He had always thought that petting someone else was a bit strange, for he thought of it as some unusual pet role-play. But THIS, this felt nice. He would have leaned into the other more if it wasn't for his sly joke. Karma was growing used to the other's occasional sexual jokes. So much so that not even a blush or flustered thought came to him. Instead, he rolled his eyes and supressed a grin. "Keep it PG, yeah?" he commented with a deep grumble. Now taking the conversation seriously, he shrugged as his eyes trailed back to the floor. "I suppose so. I can only hope that a human body can take the stress of teleportation."

As much as Xander would say that he was fine, Karma continued to watch him just in case. He figured that the demon was okay, but he would much rather be overly cautious than carefree. For the one time he would drop his guard would most likely be something terrible waiting for him. "Are you sure you don't need a day to rest before taking the potion?" he asked Xander as he watched Rosemary disconnect him. He didn't want to put too much stress on Xander's body. Usually he would be less worried, for a demon's body could heal just as quickly as an angel would. His fear however, resided if he shifted before his body was fully healed. Then his partner would be sick and miserable. He did not want to put Xander (or himself in that matter) at that risk. But once he insisted, he sighed. He would never force Xander to do anything he didn't want to do. So all Karma could do was watch him carefully and support him. After all, Karma was the one who suggested this. Though he did not know that his sister would have taken such a charge on their bodies, it would be foolish for him to back out of his own idea.

Karma's eyes watched Xander carefully once Rosemary had left the room again. He was surprised to see that the other did not sit on his lap, but he soon realized why. He followed the other's eyes, then rolled his own. Oh how much of a tease Xander was. Because of him, he would most definitely land himself in Hell when he dies. He tried not to look at the other by turning his head. His hand holding his chin as he looked frantically for something else to focus on. But he had failed miserably, for Xander was impossible for Karma to not look at. So he gave him a glance. "What are you looking for?" he asked in an unintentionally threatening tone. Before anymore steps could be taken, Rosemary returned with a shot glass filled with a murky brown liquid. The smell was potent. Much like the smell of sewage water would be. Karma was not usually reactive, but he had to cover his nose to keep him from vomiting. He choked on odor and turned away from Rosemary. "Bloody hell, what IS that?"

"It's the potion," Rosemary says as she handed the shot glass to Xander. "What did you expect? With ingredients like those, did you think the potion would be bright purple or something?" Rosemary asked as she narrowed her eyes at Karma. "This isn't Harry Potter. Of course it's revolting. You might want to chug that down quickly, Xander. Trust me. You don't want to take that slowly. Once you finished it, lay down in the center of the floor. I don't want you collapsing or breaking a bone from hitting something once you start shifting." Rosemary then made her leave again. This time however, she closed the door behind her. Most likely to deafen the sounds in case Xander began yelling. Karma sighed as he looked over Xander. He was still covering his nose (this time with his shirt), but looked to be as concerned as he could get. He hated to see Xander in pain, whether it was temporary or not. "Be careful, okay? If you feel like it's too much, just let me know and I'll find a way to counter the potion."

His chickles could barely be contained when his boyfriend told him to keep it PG. "Yes my dear~" He said knowing that he'll have trouble actually keeping to that. At least, while they were alone. He thought about teleporting, and tried to remembering the machanics of it. "I'm pretty sure a human would be safe enough if I use my Magic to cover the human when I teleport. I remember mother giving me a whole lecture about it, how humans dont' have Magic, so they're very suseptibal to magic, but you can cover them in magic and most of the time they should be okay?" He said, rattling off what he could remember. Annoyingly, he learnt teleportation only over 200 years ago, and with everythign else, he only remembered the basics, rather than any indetail explantion. "I remember finding the lecture long and boring, which is probably why I don't remember much." He chuckled.

"Hon, trust me when I say I'm fine. Transforming will be a bitch, but its not as though I'm anemic as a human, right? Besides, I'm pretty sure anything bad with the human body I might have had has probably been fixed with my full formation." He explained with a shrug. He was pretty sure Xander had weak-ish eyes, similar to his father he could see closer better than further. It wasn't anything bad, he could live without glasses but he found himself with 20/20 vision after his transformation. So he could only assume that his Demonic... self? Fixed any underlying issues Xander might have had. He knew that Kamra was just being overly worried, and was thankful when Karma finally did relent. Now he just had to wait for the Potion to be done. At the cold, but obviously embarrassed question, Xander grinned. And he didn't even have to say anything! it was obvious what he's love to do while waiting, but Karma said PG, and they wern't exactly alone alone. Rosemary could walk in at any time-and like that she appears. Although Xander winced at the smell.

Xander took the potion and looked at it with a face of displeasure and concern. "I knew the general componants wouldn't make it apetizing, I have helped mother in making potions using the ingredients in different potions, but what the hell made it smell like you just took a cup from the sewage pipe?" He asked, confused. he knew some wild herbs was in the concoction, and they made the potions smell strong as shit, but nothing came to mind on why it smelt so badly. He looked up at the Fallen Angel and nodded. It was now or never, right? He looked to Karma with a gentle smile. "I doubt you can counter it, but worst comes to worst, You know how to open my phone, just ask mother. If anyone, she can figure something out." He said, handing Karma his phone. He decided to sit inth e middle of the floor, make it easier on himself if anything.

"In for a penny, in for a pound." He said, taking a breath before downing it. Okay so... it smelt so much worse than it tasted, but it had the consistancy of a very thick smoothie, the one you make in the blenders and you put too much and its drinkable but very thick. He tried to not gag over the texture, since he didn't think anyhing that thick should be considered a drink, but he kept it down. And for a moment, there wasn't anything. It gave him time to get over the smell and texture of said drink. and then... it was almost like a buzzing sensation, or like when you sit on your leg for a while and you get those painful pins and needles. He started getting them aroudn the base of his added apendages, that he realised he should probably bring out. That.... was a bad idea, because then the tingling became almost excruciatingly painful, and he couldn't help but curl up on himself. He felt like he might pass out from the pain, especially since it was in two major areas. His tail didn't feel all too bad, considering. He was fairly quiet while dealing with the pain, only quiet goans that turned into whines.

Eventually, he could feel the pain easing, but it left a throbbing sensation. He tried to feel for his magic, but there was nothing. He groaned loudly as he sat up, his arms shaking but pushing his weight up anyway. "Fuuuuucck, okay that... was actually painful, holy shit." He blinked, rolling his shoulderes a small bit before having to stop with a wince. "Ahhh, the pain wont go for a while... I can't even use a pain-numbing spell, I dont' have the magic for it." He groaned. "Bloody hell, that aches. Do we happen to have any painkillers? I can live with an achey back and butt, but a throbbing head isn't fun." He chuckled, rubbing his head. It felt like... all of his apendages were singed off at the base, rather than pulled out.

When Xander pushes his worry away, Karma could not help but give out a defeated sigh. He was mainly concerned about the illness that had taken over Xander's human body before Thelvik had entered it. He tried to tell himself that his boyfriend was fine. After all, he was healed years ago. Yet there was still an unreasonable voice yelling in the back of his head to tell him otherwise. "I know, I'm just being cautious," Karma huffed. At Xander's question about why the potion had smelt so terrible, Rosemary giggled. "No, did you not remember the ingredients?" he asked with an eye roll. "The majority of that list required me to keep body parts raw. Sometimes when certain things mix, they counteract each other, making one decay. Which is why the potion smells like it's rotten." The fallen angel waved as she turned hersef away. "I'll go get Karma's serving. You two have fun~"

Karma grabbed Xander's phone and watched the other carefully. He wanted to make sure that nothing would turn south, or else Karma would have to kill someone. It was rather obvious when the potion started working. As much as the pair could tolerate pain, there was always a sense of urgency shown on someone's face once the discomfort began. Karma watched him with a sense of horror. Xander was probably not paying attention to it (for his mind was focused on his pain), but his back had looked sickly as his body shifted. He could seen his spine sit up and move, along with his wings underneath his shirt. Automatically, Karma moved himself to stand up, which was a terrible mistake. He felt his body grow weak and landed himself back in the chair. He had completely forgotten that he was still giving blood. He leaned his head back and closed his eyes. 'That was stupid,' he thought to himself as his body began to grow cold.

Rosemary came in almost immediately once she heard the loud bang from Karma collapsing in his chair. She looked over Xander first, then at Karma. How did she get stuck with not one, but TWO stupid boys? "What the hell are you doing?" she snapped at Karma first as she began to disconnect his tubes. The male was lucky he was an angel, or else he would have collapsed on the floor. "Is Xander okay?"
"Of course he is," she says, but she was unsure herself. She gave Karma some water and a bag of biscuits before moving over towards Xander. "How are you feeling?" she asked as she held the other's face. Moving it around slightly to check for any marks that might signify otherwise. "No nausea or itchness, right? You can still move your limbs?"

Once she was sure that the pair were doing okay, she sighed as she rubbed her temples. "Three days and you boys are already giving me a headache," she grumbled. She had brought another shot glass of the potion and placed it on the desk behind Karma. "I'll be cleaning up while you wait for Karma to be finished healing. I'll be in the room next door, so knock on it when you're done. I should have some painkillers with me." Then, she had left once more. Karma used the time to regroup himself. Which, luckily for him, only took a few minutes. He waited until he felt okay to stand again before standing. "You said that you wanted to feel my wings?" Karma recalled. "Well, here's your chance." And just like that, his wings fold from his back. A few white feathers floating to the ground from his shedding as he did so.

Cosmic_Chaos Cosmic_Chaos

At the thump, his head snapped to Karma in concern, but had to close his eyes in the flash of pain that overwhelmed him for a moment. Too fast moevements, not a good idea. at the question if he was okay, Xander chuckled, "I'm not dead yet. Can't get rid of me that easy." HE grinned. opening his eyes a bit, only to be face full of Rosemary. And he couldn't help but chuckle at the question, letting himself be moved to her whims. "Oh, I feel right as rain. Totally doesn't feel like my horns and wings got cut off, or that my magic was sealed." He responded sarcastically, but grinned greatfully. "Other than the slowly ebbing pain, I feel fine. A bit weak, maybe lightheaded from the migrane, but I don't feel like I've broken or damaged anything." He shrugged.

He nodded and watched her leave. "Its all apreciated!" He called as she left, and he was alone with Karma once again. He watched Karma as the wings spilled out of his back and he made grabby hands from his place on the floor. "Karmaa! I ache! Sit on the floor with me sicne you can move." He said, pattign the floor in front of him, trying to entice his boyfriend to sit with him. The second Karma sat with him, he went straight for the wings, imidately letting out a high pitch noise that could only be of delight. "They're so soft! And fluffy!" He praised them, and he raked his hands gently through the feathers. They felt so different compared to his own, it was weird, but not a bad weird. It was pleasent and almost addicting. "Pain is totally worth this, your wings are so nice!" He said, eyes practically sparking in awe.

His own wings were different, compared to Karma's although that isn't a surprise. His wings were a weird matchup between his fathers and mothers wings, black from being a fallen, feathered everywhere, but the shape and bone structure of his mothers. And his mothers wings were made for strong gusts of wind to take off. there isn't a lot of Air in hell, so trying to fly with bird-like wings was almost a disadvantage, hence the large and powerful bat-like wings. But, his brothers wings wern't the same as his. His younger brother, Astran, has wings different to his own, being more sleek and almost agile-like, scarcity of feathers but that never being a hinderance. All of his brothers wings were slightly different, as though Nature was trying to figure out how to properly make a Demon/Angel hybrid.

He explored the wings infront of him, unable to help himself from comparing them to his own. he felt himself relax into the wings he was petting and unable to help himself nuzzled into the comforting feeling of feathers. "So soft... Kind of makes me want to take a nap." He grinned. The pain was ebbing away now, although being distracted by the wings did help, the only major pain was the headahce and the achey feeling in his back. He ran his hands through the featehrs once again, accidentally going closer to the base without noticing, too busy relaxing into the wings in what could only be described as bliss.

Rosemary smiled as she heard Xander's sarcastic remarks. "I warned you that it would be painful, didn't I?" she pressed, but meant nothing but good from it. She walked over to behind her desk and opened a few drawers. She pushed her items aside as she searched for something in particular. "Ah, there!" The fallen angel picked up a small glass vile filled with a pink-tinted liquid. She walked over towards Xander and passed him the container. "Here, it helps the pain much better than human medicine," she insisted. "I promise it won't taste as horrid as the human potion." The liquid was rather sweet with a light odor to it. It had the taste of liquid cotton candy, something that could easily make the potion addictive. Karma was looking over her shoulder (or as much as he could while in his seat) just to make sure that she wasn't giving him anything dangerous. Rosemary noticed this and giggled lightly. "Relax, Karamatt. I'm not going to kill him," she insisted. "I'll be back to give you your turn." With that, Rosemary had left again.

Karma rolled his eyes playfully as he listened to Xander groan for him. He was always the dramatic one, even when they were kids. A silent chuckle manage to slip out as he obeyed his wishes and sat besides him. The floor wasn't very comfortable, but the angel wasn't going to complain. He watched him touch his wings with an adoring smile on his face. God was Xander cute. Hearing his praises of amazement made him laugh again as he watched Xander almost gush. He didn't think that his wings were soft at all. He could remember Rosemary's wings to be so when he was younger, but he doubted that her wings were the same as they once were. If he had to guess, most of her wings were bone with her burnt feathers barely holding on. When Xander's hands moved towards the base, he felt a shiver run throughout his body. THAT was an experience. "Ah, be careful where you touch," Karma warned as he guided the other's hands back to the middle of his wing.

When Rosemary returned, she had once again the putrid liquid contained in a glass cup. She handed Karma the potion as she moved back behind her desk. "Put in your wings before you drink it, or you'll pull a muscle." Karma nodded and folded his wings in. He took one deep sigh. Better for him to hurry and get it over with. He took in a deep breath before chugging the liquid down. Karma cringed as he drank it, for his instinct was to vomit. But he forced it down, and placed the bottle down. He was about to tell Xander to move back, but the potion had worked a lot quicker than he had anticipated. Karma gripped the floor and shivered. It was painful for sure, but he was quiet just as Xander was. He only let out a few shaky groans, but that's about it.

When he was finished, he felt lightheaded. That took a surprising amount of energy, and now he felt as though he would faint. He looked up at Xander to realize that his right eye was becoming foggy. He tried to rub it away, but it had never left. Not until he could barely see anything but white as his green eye turned pale. "What the hell's wrong with my eye," he says as he tried to blink away the blindness. Rosemary walked over to him with the same pink potion he gave to Xander. She knew immediately what it was, and tilted her head slightly. "Huh...it never healed..." she murmured, leaving Karma confused. "What? What never healed?" She sighed as she handed him the liquid. "Well, when you were a toddler, you got into Asher's room. Neither of us were watching you, Michael wasn't there nor was Mum, so you ended up getting into his stuff. You know how Asher loved to make poisons. You managed to get yourself on his desk and poured it on you face." Karma blinked. For one, he hadn't thought of his birth older brother in a while. Two, he could not remember any of this event. "How did I heal? Didn't he make toxins that burned the skin?"

"Well...yes...but your also an archangel. Your skin healed within a couple of hours. Michael found a way to heal your eye, but it can only work with consistent holy magic. Severe body injuries like that must be consistently healing, or else it will arise again."

The male turned to look over at Xander. Not only was he exhausted, but now he was irritated with his new blindness. He took a quick swig of the healing potion and leaned back onto the floor. Hoping that his aches and dizziness would go away. "Perhaps you two should stay in Ireland for another day. You need to rest up before you travel. Make sure you eat and drink. You are both human, which means that you need to take care of your fragile bodies."

Cosmic_Chaos Cosmic_Chaos

Xander gratefully took the sweet concotion, although he winced at how sweet it was. It tasted like liquid sugar. "Okay, not bad, but god thats sweet." He said, not complaining, but not enjoying the overly sweet potion. "I like sweets, but thats like... liquid candy. Although it did help." He mused, rolling his shouldered, noting at the ache in his back and head almost completely disapeared. He could see why some people who really loved sugar and sweet things would love this, and how someone could easily get addicted to it, but honestly once was enough for him. What wasn't enough, however, was Karma's wings. He barely realised he was being moved, but he tried to acknowledge the words. he let hismelf be moved, and since he wasn't being moved away from the fluffy and soft feathers, he didn't complain. Xander let out a noise of discontentment, but let the wing he was shoving his face into go, letting it disapear into Karma's back. In turn, he focused on karma, and felt himself resonate with Karma's disgust.

When Karma mentioned his eye, Xander grew concerned, looking in worry until Rosemary explained and he couldn't help but relax in relief. Thats okay, well it wasn't because Karma couldnt' see, but at least Karma wasn't permanantly scarred. He could heal his eye once the potion wore off, they just had to deal with it for now, but Karma wasn't fully blind. that was also a relief. Xander relaxed, still concerned but less likely to freakout over a malfunction of the potion.

"In my defence I've technically been wearing a human suit for the past 15 years. I couldnt' even use all of my Demonic abilites, only the ones I could use on instinct, so I know how to look after myself as an actual human. So if anyone needs the warning to look after the fragility that is the human vessel, its Karma." Xander said, grinning cheekily. And well, he wasn't wrong. He was a Demonic spirit possessing the human body of Alexander for 15 years. Obviously he grew stronger, able to slowly learn and grow his abilities, but he had to learn almost from scratch. When his memory was restored, to keep the human brain from collapsing on itself from memory overload, his demonic magic forced it to change to keep up, and so he became a full Demon through the human body of Xander. So he knew how to look after the human body, if only because he was meticuously taught by his human parents.

"Hmm, if he's blind in one eye, I say we put a gause over it, so he isn't trying to see and doesn't strain the eye. That can cause headaches and I doubt you want that love." He explained. He remembered his mother explaining something like that, and Kamra worked in a hospital so he should know about that kind of thing. "And please, I like food. Karma eats like a bottomless hole, so I think we'll be fine. Although Karma, you need to actually speak up if your hungry mister." He said, wagging his finger, similar to how his mum would when teasingly telling him or his dad off. "Besides, Karma wanted to go on a date, so we're going to the themepark. We'll leave if Karma gets too overwhelmed though." He said, with a grin. He knew he'd have basically chaperones via his mother and brother. Speak of the devils, his phone buzzed. He grabbed it, and looked at the texts, His mother asking how it went, Moraz saying that now that he's an actual human it was easier to practically spy on him, and saying that eh hoped that the human body wasn't already failing him.

He couldn't help but smile amused at the concern. He explained how his body was healed via demonic-formation, so he was fine. Karma was blind in one eye because of an accident, so if they had to protect someone, Karma was a lot more vulnerable. He smiled when Mother expressed her concerns, but he explained that it was an old injury that had to be constantly healed. He smile dand looked to Karma. "I don't know how you did it, love, but mother is very determined to protect you. even more so with the eye." He chuckled. His mother was good for spotting good and bad characters, so he honestly trusted her judgement. "Well, whenever your ready love." He grinned, getting up and stretching, his back clicking slightly. "This time, we get to do things the human way. wont that be interesting? As though I haven't been doing it my entire human life, but here we go." He chuckled. Whats one more day of being a human?

Karma had agreed with Xander entirely. While Xander was possessing an actual human body, Karma had to pretend to be one for eleven years. The pair knew well how to properly care for a weaker vessel. The only thing that would need to be adjusted was moving around half blind. Or at least, Karma assumed that he already knew how to be human. Physical pain was something that he never really paid attention to, for it was something he rarely felt. The most intense wounds he had would heal within a few hours. The serious burn he received a month prior was a prine example. "I'll live. I'm not an idiot," he grumbled, more so to Rosemary than towards Xander. She walked them to the front of the store. The sun was shining bright in the middle of the sky. Or at least, shining brightly through the clouds. It wasn't a very sunny day, but the still had a good amount of time before the night would fall.

Hearing Xander's earlier suggestion, Rosemary stopped them at the door to get her younger brother situated. Unlike the two, she was still a fallen angel. So it was easy for her to summon a few needed materials. She first got herself a patch onto Karma's eye. Of course, he took off his glasses to give Rosemary easier access. He even had to bend down to get better to her level. "You need to stop growing," she huffed, which earned a light chuckle from Karma. "I still remember when you were up to my waist. God you were a cute kid," she reflected. She could hardly believe that the shy, sweet boy she raised was now tall enough to reach almost any high place. Rosemary smiled nostalgically and glanced over to Xander. "You know, he used to be too nervous to talk to anyone that wasn't me when he was young. He used to cling to my dress as if the ground was going to give in. I honestly got worried that he wouldn't have friends because of it."

Rosemary's smile grew mores as she looked down at the black padded eye patch in her hands. She felt her eyes water up, but nothing ever came down. "I'm glad he's finally found someone to talk to." She looked up to see Karma smiling back. His soft expression reminding her of the same boy she used to ready fairytale stories too. She tied the cloth patch over his eye, then handed him a box of bandaged ones to put underneath. Before they could leave, Rosemary turned to hug Xander goodbye. It was clear that Karma got his height from his father, for she was rather short for an angel. She could not reach either of their necks ordinarily, so the fallen angel had to stand on her toes to get to level. Her hugs were warm and supportive. Making it easy for the other to lean into without worrying of collapsing or tipping over. "Be safe. Please watch out for Karamatt," she whispered, making it so only Xander could hear. Then, she moved towards Karma to do the same. But she had only wished him safe travels, and to call her whenever the two had needed help. On top of Xander's mother and Moraz, the couple now had Rosemary to support them.

As the two left, Karma kept his hand onto Xander's shoulder to keep himself in balance. He had already tripped twice now that his blindspot was covered, so he thought that it would be best to remain close to Xander. Though, he was sure his boyfriend wouldn't mind. "I suppose you're going to be driving until the effects wear off," Karma commented as he walked over to the passenger seat. He successfully did so without bumping into something this time, and reclined into his seat. This was a rather emotional trip, but he was glad it had occurred. Xander got his memory back, the two did "couple things", and now they had a few days of vacation for just the two of them. Once Xander had gotten into the driver's seat, Karma took a moment to look the other over. He was confused if it was the human potion or just the heat of the moment, but he could not take his eyes off of him. The way his body moved freely, but not too loose. The way his amber hair reflected beautifully in the light. How his smile alone was enough to melt his heart away. Karma had to catch himself before his eyes could turn into hearts like a cartoon.

"Thank you," he murmured, his now single eye looking over at Xander. "Thank you for going through with this. I'm glad that I could start relaxing with you." He realized a few seconds after how corny his statements must have sounded. Was this what being human meant? Making a fool out of himself? "Ah, sorry. That was rather cheesy," he apologized quickly.

Cosmic_Chaos Cosmic_Chaos

He listened to Rosemary's story, interiged by a Karma he never knew of. It honestly made him wonder about what Xander was like before he, Thelvik the Demon, got booted from hell and had to possess a vegetable-5-6 year old. He couldn't help but let out a chuckle. "Well, when I moved next door, Mum and dad took me to the park. And back then, I decided 'Welp, I gotta fit in with the humans. Time to make friends with everyone' and did so. So when Karma came along, I befriended him and found him rather fun to hang out with. That and I didn't like the idea that kids were making fun o fhim because he was kind of doky at the time." He chuckled. "All of Karma's social-abilities came from me. Although I'm still annoyed he refused to try and make friends with anyone else though." He teased. He wasn't too mad, otherwise Karma would have never paid all of his attention onto Xander, but Karma deserved more friends damn it.

Xander smiled softly at the whisper of being safe, asking him to watch out for his lover. Of course he would! He nodded, a silent acknowledgement, and left with Karma, keeping an eye on the now-human Karma. He grinned, pulling Karma closer, making sure that Karma's blind-spot was protected by him. Xander couldn't help but laugh. "Well, you can't drive with one eye. Well you could, but we'd get pulled over." He grinned, taking the driving seat. Now he had to actually be careful, since they were now in actual fragile-human-bodies. Karma specifically. Pretending to be human and actually being human was two very different things, so while Kamra was confident, Xander was still worried. He started the car and glanced at his boyfriend with a grin only to rasie an eyebrow at his boyfriend who was staring at him as if he was the world itself. Karma looked away pretty quickly though, not before Xander noticed. He didn't comment on it, saving Karma the embarrassing talk of feelings.

Now that he thought of it, Karma had to deal with human emotions, something Angels didn't feel. Even as an archangel that was programmed to feel emotions, there was no way he felt the full range of the human emotional spectrum. Especially if he tried to block them magically most of the time, which he wouldn't be surprised if he did so unconciously, or if someone else did it for him. There was probably a lot of feelings happening at once, so he would especially have to keep an eye on Karma if case he got overwhelmed. Although he supposed snogging the hell out of Karma would distract him enough to help. He looked at Karma who was simply feeling human and smiled gently.

"Don't ever appologise for having feelings. Especially while you're human. If I learnt anything, its that humans feel a lot of emotions. Your emotions were probably dulled as an Angel, so you're feeling everything unhindered is my best guess." He smiled, starting to drive. Safely, carefully. "So honestly, if you feel something, let it out. And Never appologise, never. Not for feeling human while you're human." Xander grinned, looking at his boyfriend quickly before driving. He already knew the route he had to take to go the themepark in mind, it was not even an hour away. He motioned to the stereo. "Go play something, this'll be a ride. We can also talk about what we wanna do, anything in mind? I know you wanted to go to the theatre, I wanna go on a ferris wheel, water slides looks fun, but we can see what they actually have. I hope there is one thats fast, I remember in school, year 10, we went to brean park. I don't think you went, but there was this super fast ride. Hellraiser I think? Supser fast and super fun." He rambled, the words just falling out his mouth without much of a filter.

He finally caught himself. "Ah, sorry, I kept talking without letting you say anything! My bad!" He apologised, a sheepish smile. Xander rambled when nervous or in very comfortable company. And with how relaxed Xander felt, it was obvious what he was feeling.
