Shizune felt pretty happy that Shoko accepted her plan. She racked her brain, trying to remember what number seat the girl was sitting in. But then she remembered that the girl was sitting right behind her, in seat 10. "Seat 10," She told Shoko. Shizune didn't really know much about the girl who sat there. However, what she did know was that the girl was going to be past her range, and that she'd have to carry her body closer. She turned over to where her body was laying, and no one was nearby. She felt relieved, perhaps everyone else was preoccupied with someone. As Shoko was now leaning on the tree, and told her "Also I can't tell you the position of the bells, but I can give you a plan on how to retrain them or immobilise them," She understood why. She knew that Shoko's quirk would be hurting her even more, but she was glad that she at least was able to come up with a plan.

As the rock was halted and thrown back Kami's progress was not halted in the least, seemingly having prepared for the action already she would slingshot herself around the boulder and release her hairs grip on it, propelling her directly to the teacher right as he attempted to raise himself up on a platform.

"You might be looking but im seeing!" the grin still on her features and a knowing look in her eye. Inwardly she already knew how to deal with the bells, she just needed people to forget about themselves and work together first. It was actually kinda funny, to get the bells they would need to not focus on them, not that she was really one to be bothered about an arbitrary grade or point score, that wasn't why she was here after all.

Given her aerial position, the spikes would be the final boost she needed, as he likely emitted one from the raised platform she placed a hand on it to leapfrog over in a final push only to turn it into a dropkick directly at the man's chest. She showed no issue with the terrain at all, and given how close she was to the man the projectiles were more an issue for those behind her than herself.

Regardless of if the kick landed or not she would bring her hair up around her ready, flaring it out to obscure the others behind her. If she had managed to hit with enough force to get him off the ground that would at least give the others a chance to get in closer unseen. What would follow would be a series of attempted knee strikes and elbows as she danced in close combat with the man, trying to keep on some form of pressure and take advantage of everything she could.

"He can sense you on the ground, though i think he needs to be on the ground to do that...So lets work to narrow his options and advantages."

The slime moved like- well slime. It wasnt all too fast, even Lan could dodge away from the tendrils without much trouble- with no help from a quirk to be had.
She must have been relying on diverting their attention elsewhere to try and make a connection; so Lan just had to keep his eyes on the girl- andpay attention to the tendrils of slime that moved from her body.

In his concentration he came to a realisation; her body was becoming slightly smaller with every bit of slime that seperated from it- pushing the bells that floated inside of her form closer to one another.

"O-oh sorry about that." The yet-to-be-named cat boy apologized for the torn shirt as he dodged.

Slime girl huffed, and didn't reply, noteably though- the torn back of her shirt had sunken into the slime of her back, keeping it held up just fine.

"If you're just gonna let her put you down like that you should probably get out of here."
This time, cat boy ( Lan made a mental note to think of a better nickname ) was talking to him. His face soured further.

" Oh, sorry, but if I fuckin remember correctly- I never asked you to help in the first place, " even though he sort of probably needed it.
" And I didn't come to hero school to learn how to run away faster,"
Lan nearly stepped into a puddle of slime connected to the girl whilst he was distracted with retorts. Catching himself he turned his heel to avoid it- but the slime shot up- wrapping around his leg anyways.

Think fast-
Lan dropped to both knees, picked up a nearby rock, and brought it down on the string of slime that connected him to the main mass. What remaind on his leg liquified and fell into a puddle on the grass.

He, and slime girl, both paused as a voice cut through the tree line. Someone trying to rqlly the students together apparently.

"She's right you know, I don't think any of us need to put this much effort into fighting over scraps when there's five golden snitches out there, if we group up and grab a few we can just share them out and be miles ahead of everyone else."
That would... be helpful for Lan actually. If he was in a team he might actually be able to activate his quirk-

" Hmmm-," slime girl spoke, tapping a finger to her chin.
" You called them golden snitches, but they look like big old red flags to me,"
She did take the opportunity to retract her slime tendrils back into herself, Lan noted.

" I think the golden bells are just there so teach' can see who's dumb enough to go for something way outta their league."

She was shrinking again- as she spoke, but Lan didnt see any tendrils? Where-
There, a glimmer on the grassy floor- a string of slime no thicker than a shoelace stretched behind her- turning- where did it lead to-

He followed the line to behind himself, a puddle of slime forming behind him.
In an instant, the girl had liquified herself- the gym uniform following along with the main mass-
A hand began to reach up from the puddle and-
Lan snatched up the gym uniform without thinking, the hand paused.

" Wait- no- give that back you brat!" She squeaked

Lan looked between the slime and the clothes in his hand, face turning red, but he backed up- quickly- getting away from the girl.

" If I do you'll reform!"
" Yeah! But you cant take my clothes!"

Seat 10, Shoko was now scanning her brain so she could match the quirk with the seat number. After about a minute of so, she matched the quirk. Seat 10, the quirk that can control hearts. Shoko had memorized almost all of the information from her mind read, so matching quirks was easy. “Seat 10, that person can control hearts or has something to do with hearts, I think.” Shoko said, she was trying to figure out possible drawbacks and how she could make a plan. “Ok, I’m guessing their drawback is knowing the location of their targets. So, staying out of her line of sight is definitely crucial.” She said thinking. “I think creating a distraction, then knocking them out, will be out best bet.” Shoko said finalizing her plan. “Do you think you’re fast enough? Or do you think we will have to use my quirk to create confusion?” She asked, waiting for Shizune’s input and opinion.

Suzuki Toshio
Getting a particularly snippy response from the guy he had 'saved' and having no sign of any sort of quirk Toshio began to wonder of the guy was a plant for the students to rescue. If that was the case he was putting on a good show of struggling, observing the way a slime tendril lost it's form when severed from the main body he pursued the retreating trail and swiped at it with his claws. "You say it's out of your league but that just sounds like your not thinking big enough." He said not sure where the main body had got to.

Hearing some rather suspect shouting nearby Toshio made a beeline for it and found that the other boy had indeed stolen the slime's uniform and appeared to be holding it hostage, once again he considered ditching the entire situation before getting expelled for stripping the female students but decided to try and resolve the situation. "Alright I didn't sign up for any weird stuff so let's just talk about this before you two end up arguing until this ends up a weird story students tell for years." Getting himself in between the two he mainly watched the slime for any funny business. "How about you guys just trade? You spit out your bronze bells and he gives you your clothes back?" Not mentioned was his intention to snag at least one as a middleman's fee.

"Alright I didn't sign up for any weird stuff so let's just talk about this before you two end up arguing until this ends up a weird story students tell for years."

" It's not weird! She's goo!" Lan stuttered out the defense, his face becoming redder by the second.
He would never act on impulse again. This is the worst thing he has ever done, he wanted to drop dead- and his face was hot enough to momentarily distract him from the fact that it seemed she was unable to send out any tendrils while she was not in her original form. He did notice eventually, a useful note for later.

" I'm not goo, I'm a girl!"
" Those two things arent mutually exclusive!"

"How about you guys just trade? You spit out your bronze bells and he gives you your clothes back?"

Lan had covered his face with one hand, the one that he still held his bells in- out of sheer embarrassment; but uncovered one eye at Cat boy's suggestion. That wouldn't work would it? It seemed too easy-

" Fine," the slime groaned, and now that Lan was thinking about it- seeing a puddle talk was a bit. Weird.
" But first apologize,"

" What? Why should I- I didnt break any rules and-"

" No bells then!"

Lan hated this. He hated it so much.

" Fine! Sorry- sorry- It won't happen again," that was true. He would never do that again.

She made a "hmph" noise and an arm formed in the puddle, stretching outwards. The two bronze bells travled up the appendage and into her palm, before she threw them both at Lan; they smacked him in the face- hard enough to sting.

" Fuck you, I said sorry already!" Lan caught the bells as they fell from his face, and rubbed the sore spot.

" Oops, my bad."

Lan grit his teeth, but returned the uniform as agreed, she reformed inside it; silver bell floating in her head once again.

" Oh, about what you said earlier, I'm pretty confident in my quirk actually, but..." the girl had turned to the catboy,
" I mean- If you think about it it makes sense right? What sort of teacher would plan on having their students beat them on the first day? That just seems like the fastest way to get them to respect you less,"
She spoke, she wasn't shrinking this time. No sneak attack. Good.

" Now, if he had us repeat the game half way through the year, I could see the gold bells being a possibility; show us how far we've come y'know? But like- what would be the point in letting us beat him today? We aren't heroes yet- we're basically just talented civilians , and if I was a pro hero that got beat by a bunch of civilians- well , I'd be pretty embarrassed. "

She had crossed her arms together as she spoke, relaxed and slow- as though she had the whole world figured out.

Rumi had dissapeared in the cloud of dust kicked up by Haku-chan the easy way- running.

God. So much running today. She needed to get into shape quickly if hero work was going to involve this much god damned cardio.

Now.
She just needed a target for phase two of her plan. Someone vulnerable- who looked like easy prey for the rest of the students-

Rumi spotted a girl in a tree- she didn't remember her name or quirk, but if she had spent this whole time up there; she couldn't be that powerful.
Perfect.

" Hey! You! Whatever your quirk is don't freak out, I'm not coming for your bells!" Rumi shouted a fair warning before aproaching further. Wouldn't want to get zapped where she stood if they had a ranged quirk after all.
And it was the truth anyways, Rumi wasn't after her bells, she had bigger plans.

Suzuki Toshio
"It's very weird." Toshio added when the brunette protested, thankfully despite the bickering they both agreed to the prisoner exchange and the slime was able to reform with her modesty intact. "Good now we can all get along." He decided that asking them to shake on it to make up would probably just start another fight.

With the messy argument resolved the slime girl was actually willing to talk at least even if it was about how she didn't think they could possibly take on Tectonic and win. "You just gotta expand your definition of winning, I'm not saying we beat him up and takes the goldies from his unconscious body that would be crazy. I'm just saying that if a bunch of us jump him at once we could get some of the goldies and make a run for it comprende?"

Then Toshio turned to the other guy in the potential impromptu group. "How about you? What do you think?" He looked him over quickly. "Also what can you do when you aren't being jumped in the forest?" After a moment he realised that 'other guy' and 'slime girl' wouldn't work if they did group up. "The name's Suzuki Toshio by the way, how about you guys?"

Suzuki huh? Ok. Lan noted it.

Slime girl didn't uncross her arms, but she did sigh heavily.

" Suraimu Amai, but just call me Amai, got it?"

Lan looked between them. Was teaming up worth the stress? No. Did he have many other options if he wanted to be able to use his quirk any time soon? Also no.

" Chikara, " Lan answered with a huff after some inner debate.
Now...
What could he do while not being jumped in a forest?

" My quirk gives me inhanced strength and a healing factor, but I can only use it to help other people," he ground out the words like he didn't want to say them. He also, notably; left out the biggest drawback.

" wich is y'know. Why I wasn't using it, "

Amai looked between both of the boys, a brow (or well- it was just slime that looked like a brow ) quirked up.

" Hmmmm. You're overconfident, " she said , speaking to Suzuki.
" But I'll help- and once teach knocks you both out I'll take the bells off of ya',"

Lan frowned.
" Wait- I never agreed to this shit, why am I getting lumped in?"

Shizune listened closely to Shoko's words. Controlling hearts huh. Shizune thought about how that might work with her quirk...masks don't really come with hearts do they? The quirk may work on her lying body though. When she heard Shoko ask her if she's fast enough or should they use Shoko's quirk, Shizune was quite conflicted on the matter. On one hand, she wasn't very confident in her quirk's speed. On the other hand, she knew that Shoko was tired from using her quirk. She decided to answer "I think I'm fast enough." She didn't actually know if she was or not, but decided that it didn't really matter, since the quirk wouldn't work on her mask. Now all she had to do was listen to Shoko's response.

The training grounds looked like a warzone.

Hi was too far away to get caught in it, but they still managed to hear the warning shout from whoever had noticed that the teacher could detect them. Annoying. They moved in, anyway; if anyone got knocked down, they could grab the bells. Why do the work when someone else could do it? After all, this was an aptitude test, but Hi's abilities lied in their resourcefulness.... well, that and they would like to attempt for the shiny gold bells up there.

The teacher was a resource.

They stalked along the outside of the danger-zone, as it were, eyeing the edge of where things seemed to stop moving.

So, what do they have? Four bells, a tie, spite, and the intention to murder.

...Not the best combination of things, but they supposed they could work with it.

They stepped into the shifting zone.

RUN, BITCH RUN!

Yes, very helpful.

Hi snorted at themself as they ran, rolling under rocks and latching onto the moving spires like it was an obstacle course in the gym. They picked up a rock, and out of nothing but spite, used their tie to throw it at Tectonic's face. It obviously wouldn't do much, but they tried to throw it in the shadow of the person already up there fighting.

Slingshot, huh? Kojima had to admit getting over the hail of pebbles was a good way to evade them. He could always shoot more in her direction, but with that angle he'd need to keep track of them to make sure they didn't hit Luca or knock someone's teeth out and he didn't feel like doing that. He was already keeping track of too many things, any more and it would feel like real work.

"Points to Hikigane," he thought. She was proving herself to be both smart and resourceful, but she was going to need a tad bit more work if she wanted one of his bells. It was true that Kojima's strength lied in long and mid range attacks, but what kind of hero would he be if he hadn't taken time to prepare something for the areas he didn't use to be good at?

He didn't use his cylinders. Their purpose in this exercise was to slow down Kojima's own movements, not to be his hidden weapons. But he still had ammunition to spare.

He raised the arm that didn't have the bells in position as if to defend against the first dropkick, but the movement was instead to prompt the ground below him to raise in a thin barrier of rock, to block both the kick and a projectile he noticed coming at him. The moment Hikigane's kick collided and went through the barrier, the rock closed on her ankle and started swiftly creeping up her foot and leg to encase them and keep her trapped in place. Paying attention to the strands of hair so none could get near without him giving them the same treatment, one thought and the barrier that had the foot stuck in it shot away from him, intending on taking Hikigane with it back to where Pippu was hiding, enough strength behind the movement to rip off hair if she tried using it to anchor herself.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Nonono, you don't get it," Rihi said, waving his hands in front of him. "Normal human bodies aren't meant for that speed. If I change directions suddenly it won't matter if I didn't hit anything, my internal organs will hit my bones and that's bad," he tried to explain. One didn't have to hit solids or liquids to get hurt from drastic changes in acceleration. Even with a seat belt preventing them from moving, people that had been going too fast before crashing could get brain damage by the organ hitting the inside of their skull with enough force. As a doctor that had seen this kind of injuries multiple times, his mom had taught Rihi all about the limits he had and what he should never attempt unless a literal life was on the line, even sitting with him to watch movies and pointing out all the things the actors survived that woud be impossible to replicate outside the screen.

And there were a lot. He could still hear her complaining that people free-falling that got grabbed by a giant hand or something would have still splatted against it as surely as if it had been the concrete.

"I can try to distract him from the ground, but only you could pull off a speed change like that," he said, assuming Asuka's quirk gave her body something against those dives.

Asuka nodded in understanding to what he was saying and she did have to agree with him. “ I can see where you are coming from on this but we will still need to signal each other to avoid each other if need be” she said after a moment.

I will agree to go with that plan of action at least it will give us a slight advantage over the other students that are not working together. With dis organization of attack they will hurt each other while he avoid them…. Lets do this” she said before opening her wings to take flight again. To be honest having Rihi point out her flaws was not a bad thing it helped her see that her plan could back fire. “oh here take this, though be careful of the edge use this if I get spotted to try for the bell.” She said handing him one of her sharpened feathers just encase he needed to use it. The rest went in to her pocket so that she would have both hands free.

As a new figure quite literally flew over the field, a rush of something spiky rose up their back, prompting their lips to peel back in a Cheshire grin. "HEY!" they shouted, standing at the peak of the rock spire they'd chosen to perch on. "You! Wings! Do me a favor and throw me at the dusty bastard up top!" Their fingers fiddled with their tie, taking the thinnest edge and tying it into as much of a noose as one could get with a tie.

They tied the other end around their wrist, leaping to a new spire and clinging to it like a rat. "Can't hurt you too bad, yeah? Even if I do steal your bells, you can just drop me!"

SilverInu SilverInu

Asuka looked over at the person who called her wings in confusion before she heard what he had requested her to so before looking at Rihi with a slight grin on her face “Well having two people for a distraction to possibly get 3 gold bells it could not hurt to have them help out with a distraction” she said to Rihi as she took to the air to start getting the plan in place as she flew over to spire that they where perched on. Holding out her hand. For them to grab

I dont mind giving a lift it could give us a good chance of getting the gold bells and if you take my bells I will throw you out of bounds” she said once she had a firm grip on him she began to flap her wings a bit harder to gain some altitude for some speed that they would need for her to throw them at the teacher.

Hi hissed lightly as they were pulled up, rolling their shoulder in their socket. "Much appreciated," they hummed, quirking a brow. "And I'm not here for your shinies, I'm here for violence."

They eyed the rapidly-vanishing ground, gold eyes flicking between it and the hair-obscured teacher. "Try and use the shadow of Hair, over there. I'd like to try and get this around his neck before being tossed. And if your plan is to use me as a distraction, good. I've been told I make a very good distraction."

As someone trying to commit a felony would.

Frowning at the barrier her dropkick to his chest was blocked, leaving her momentum little place to go than forward. Her only solution was to take all that force to slam both fists into the stone to crack it, though even with her strength it wasn't as the solid stone would just be shattered. The force however was enough to flip the stone as it flew away, following which her hair seemed to circle her legs quickly to actually cut a hole in the material before pushing off the platform to shoot towards him again. There would be an explosion of dust from the destroyed earth platform, hiding her next approach, her hair would shoot at the pillar to close the distance once more, shooting her around it in a fast spiralling motion upwards right until she shot straight above him though now with several stands of hair encircling her limbs.

Someone shouted, and Rihi turned to see another of the students calling out to Asuka. Did they just called the teacher a bastard?? Sure, he was being strict, but to directly insult him-

He put the thought on hold as Asuka grinned at him, and he nodded with a gulp. "Try to get all five if possible," he said, remembering the number of bells that had been left in the pedestal after every student picked up theirs. If Tectonic hadn't moved them, they should all be tied around his right wrist like he had showed them before the sandstorm hit.

Seeing the two of them speed off into the sky, he looked back at Tectonic trying to come up with a plan. A smokescreen would be ideal, but he couldn't cover such a massive area. He could try to defend himself with his tendrils while forcing his way in, but if he focused on the pebbles he could step in quicksand and if he looked down he was going to get hit. A solution would be to grow more eyes but he wasn't accustomed to paying attention to two different visual inputs at the same time and why hadn't he practiced that a lot of people would love to see behind them and here he was with the ability to do so and completely neglecting it.

See, this is why he needed hero classes.

His eyes landed on a splash of color at the very edge of the hail of rocks. The student with a tail - maybe they could team up. Breathing in, Rihi grew his four tendrils, each topped with a curved shield, and ran towards the other. This far away from Tectonic there weren't any traps in the ground, so he could focus on blocking pebbles with his shields, not stopping them but using the curved surface to redirect them away from him. "H-hey!" he called, crouching behind the spike next to the one the boy was using as protection. "Me and, a few others have a plan," he started. His own bells were covered and not visible, so he didn't have to be as wary as he threw another glance at the teacher. "We're, four. Plus you, five. There's enough, golden bells for all of us. But we need to, get near enough to be a distraction, and allow the others to sneak in and steal them." He waved a tendril, showing the shield in it. "I can cover you if you carry me. Think, think it'd work?"

Tokino startled at the verbal announcement of the other students approach. She silently cursed- she should’ve been able to hear her coming, but she’d been so lost in thought that she slipped up on that account. Since she hadn’t taken an earlier opportunity to study the classmate or her quirk, the only thing she had to go off of was the toothy grin she saw in the dorms that day. Whatever her quirk was most likely had to do with those teeth- so as long as she stayed where she was, Tokino figured her heart quirk would have the upper hand. That was... if it came to that. Instead of initiating any kind of fight over the bells, the newcomer had declared a sort of peace. Now, Tokino wasn’t the most trusting person. Even after announcing she specifically wasnt after her bells, Tokino decided to stay right where she was, perched in the tree and looking down at her.

“If you aren’t here for the bells, I assume you have other motives?” That had to be the only explanation. Maybe she wanted to team up? Tokino wasn’t the best at that... but if it meant her ‘victory’ in this assignment, she’d give it a shot. Though, all that might be thinking too far ahead. She’d hear her classmate out first before jumping to conclusions. For all she knew, she really was after her bells, and she’d have to enact her quirk and take control of her heart in a moments notice. With that in mind, she made sure to keep herself ready and aware, both listening for nearby heartbeats and prepping herself in case the person in front of her struck.

“Let’s do it then!” Shoko responded, she knew she could trust Shizune to do the job. But Shoko was starting to come up with back up plans, just in case. She would ready herself to start moving as well, since she wasn’t sure if Shizune would still be in her range if she went after the target. If she felt that Shizune was starting to leave her range, she would start moving in her direction. She would be far enough so she wasn’t a bother to the fight. She made sure to hide herself when moving so no one would know her location. The static was becoming more prominent and the headache and pain started to spread more. She estimated that it would become unbearable by the end of the test, so at least that’s what she hoped will happen. “Whenever you’re ready.” Shoko said to Shizune.

Having managed to get the slime onboard...sort of Toshio pumped his fist. "Alright go team! I guess...right? Now that we're all in agreement we can go take a look at what we're dealing with." Hearing an unexpected complaint from Chikara he paused. "Well were you going to go off on your own then? Sounds like your quirk wouldn't help much there so you may as well come along right?" Hearing a lot of ruckus from where the teacher had been standing about he was unwilling to stand around any longer in case someone else snagged the golds first.

Leading the way through the forested area Toshio remained at ground level and on just two legs to avoid getting too far ahead, reaching the edge of the trees he halted and watched the ongoing fighting in the centre of the training area. "See? I'm not the only one who thought this was a good idea, now there's even more of a distraction to slip in and grab the goldies. Worst case we scrounge some silvers and bronzes from people who get downed." While he presented that idea as a way to placate Amai he was itching to have a go at Tectonic.

“Good I would hate to have to drop you for that reason. Also I need to know how high or close you need me to get for you to try to get a drop on the teacher unless you don’t have a problem with high speed and sudden stops. Also the more distractions we have that work will with each other the better the outcome could be” She said as she reached the height of about 180 feet off the ground. She know that dropping a quirkless human could break bones and cause death. So with this person she had no clue on what they were capable of. Looking down she began maneuver them to the location they had requested her to do. Quickly glancing in Rihi direction to see that he was trying to do, and by the looks of it he was trying to see if he could get one more person to help with their ambush like tactic. She planed to split up the 5 bells for those who helped in this attack.

"Well were you going to go off on your own then? Sounds like your quirk wouldn't help much there so you may as well come along right?"

...Fuck.
Lan glared at him.
" Fine."
He and Amai both did their best to keep up with Suzuki, though he was notably faster than the both of them.

Suzuki stopped at the edge of the tree line, at least he didn't rush in- that would have completely dashed any hope Lan had the possibility of holding.
"See? I'm not the only one who thought this was a good idea, now there's even more of a distraction to slip in and grab the goldies. Worst case we scrounge some silvers and bronzes from people who get downed."

God, were all of them stupid? Sure Lan was also going along with it- but he didn't actually think they would be successful- especially not if he himself had to play any sort of important role.
Hm.

" I... Have an idea, " he said the words slowly, like he wasn't sure of himself.
" Amai, how small can you get? "

" ... Without being connected to any more slime, or a water source- About the size of my hand right now-" She held it up- seven inches maybe?
" Any smaller and I'll dry up too quick for it to be safe," she had hushed her voice to just above a whisper, even though it was highly unlikely anyone was paying attention to them hiding in the trees.

" Would you be okay with getting that small? Considering-" her clothes wouldn't fit.
She thought for a moment, and sighed.

" yeah yeah- It's fine as long as I'm in liquid form," Amai waved her hand dismissively, and Lan nodded.

" Suzuki-" he turned to cat boy this time.
" When Amai shrinks down, carry her on your back while you go for the bells, wait until one of the other students tries for a hit before getting too close- and I'll go before the both of you to add to all the shit,"
" And- try to keep her out of his line of sight for as long as possible, just incase. Let her grab the bells and then we can both focus on getting her back after-" He wasn't quite sure how they would get the girl away after, but an incomplete plan was better than nothing, right?

Amai seemed to understand what he was going for at least, a small smirk played on her lips.
" Ooooh, I get it! I have an idea too!- 'Zuki give me some of your venom before we go will ya? And Chi- your bells, promise I wont keep them."

Given her request were fulfilled, and Suzuki had no issues with the plan- Amai would liquify, splitting herself into two puddles, the larger one going limp ; while the smaller held four of Lan's bronze bells, and Amai's silver.

"If you aren’t here for the bells, I assume you have other motives?”

"Awww, don't trust your fellow classmate?" Rumi's voice was borderline sing-song, but she at least tried to keep her smile genuine.

" Just kidding, you're right about the motives thing," She continued to walk forward, both hands in the air at her sides. The gesture of " I surrender ".

" My quirk knocks me out when I use it, and just about everyone else has already partnered up- so I could really use someone to watch my back for me,"
All truths, because Rumi didn't really need to lie right now.

" I assume you wouldn't do too hot in a two on one battle either, right? So how bout it, lets team up and we can split the bells~"
Despite her friendly smile, the warmth didn't reach her eyes; whether it was simply her face- or something else would have been difficult to say.

Shizune had responded to Shoko, saying "Ok, hold on for just a minute." She then flew down to her body, and dragged it a few meters closer to the girl who sat at seat 10. Although her body was still relatively far, she'd at least be able to fight her. Shizune put her body behind a tree, and covered it up with leaves. Hopefully, no one got too close to it. If they did, then Shizune at least hoped they wouldn't see it or think anything of it. She then went back to Shoko. "Alright, I'm ready now," She told her. She started feeling a bit nervous. It was going to be her first brawl since she joined U.A., after all. With a teammate helping her though, she felt a bit more confident. "I'm gonna do it now," She told Shoko. She then left, and started flying over to the black haired girl.
