Personality: While at work, Dander oversees his colleagues as they work on the current project. His type of leadership is very lax, ultimately based on the trust and reliance he has in his team to do the right thing. Rarely does Dander lose his temper, as he is a believer of finding chakras and zen to collect himself. His colleagues look up to him and feel comfortable talking to him, although his answers to questions can often seem... convoluted, so to say.
Backstory: Dr. Dander Mullins had always looked for ways to make the world autonomous. He figured that if the world was autonomous and could be self-sufficient, man would no longer need to break their backs and set out to find their true selves. After all, the journey to finding self is constantly distracted by electricity bills and sudden calls in to work. If the world were able to operate to our advantage, we could spend the rest of our lives doing what defines our personas. However, the world can never achieve such a state without a new, clean, renewable source of energy. This led Dr. Mullins and his team to work and study the source of energy to the electron and hopefully relieve the pollution and waste from coal plants and radioactive energy plants.

Personality: Eo is a quiet, soft spoken boy who despite his glaringly obvious anxiety and fear of literally everything, is actually really funny once he warms up to you. Eo has had a bit of trauma in his life so he feels small and weak most, if not every day. His days are riddled with anxiety attacks and stress and it often feels like his true self is fighting for dominance over his fear. He's prone to flinching and crying and having fits of shaking.
Backstory: Eo was always bullied. First it was because he had two moms, then because his ears were too big, then because he wasn't growing taller. Now he's mostly bullied for being afraid of everything and for crying so often. This just makes him more afraid. On the other hand though, Eo is fascinated by biology and was so excited to come to the island to study.

Personality: Even at her age, Penny's a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie. She's adventurous and lives for new experiences, even if it entasis packing up and moving to an island of book nerds. While not exactly grandma-tier, yet she's also somewhat sensitive about her outward image. The day she can't hold her own in a crisis will break her heart, but that day hasn't come yet. And as far as she's concerned, it never will.
Backstory: The University of Gothenburg was no stranger to Eriksons, some of which Penny was even related to. Too bad it took exactly three classes before she decided she was done with school for good. Of course, having no plan for the future and going home, expecting to be supported by her parents, was unheard of, so she had a few choices to make. Luckily, her father's connections in the Air Force came knocking, offering a variety of avenues to take after a few years of service. In tandem with her training, Penny pursued certification as a paramedic.

At 35 she left the armed forces, taking up the position of flight paramedic at a local hospital. Her career in emergency services eventually led her to widening her breadth in the medical field, up to nurse practitioner, but she remained a first responder for her love of the action. When Discovery released requests for bodies in every field, Penny decided settling somewhere completely new would be the adventure of a lifetime.

Description: Augustus is small and skinny, built naturally to be lean but his lack of upkeep has left him underweight and slim. His eyes are always accompanied by a pair of bags and his face is dotted with the occasional mole. His hair is dyed a blonde shade that matches well with his light skin. Even with his light skin, he tans very easily, however, he hates the sun and avoids it like the plague. Both ears are pierced as well as his tongue and his septum. He usually has his nails painted in random colours as well as wearing random coloured clothing(both expensive and cheap).

Personality: Augustus is a laid-back guy who loves to joke around. He is known for making jokes in every situation and just trying to have fun in his life rather than think about it. He has been known to break the laws occasionally with his recreational drug use and etc. Though he still has a semi-good morality, just more morally gray than most. He doesn't like being ignored or alone and thus tends to talk a lot. He hates silence and he often gets very anxious if nothing is happening around him. He tries to remedy this by making things happen, even though he knows it can be annoying. He doesn't intend to be annoying but he's grown numb to the sting the word has when used towards him since after all, it's better than being ignored.
Backstory: Augustus has lived his life as most people would say, in luxury. Both his parents making the big bucks, leaving him without really ever having to worry about a job. This of course has its negatives and downsides. Augustus never got to be raised by his parents, more nannies that took care of him. He made it a point to get rid of every nanny by being a royal nuisance, in hopes that it would get his parents to come back. This did not bear any fruits. He spent his life with only the bare minimum interaction with his parents. He felt alone and did his best to fill the hole, yet still made constant attempts to get his parent's attention.

Personality: Chai likes to keep a low profile and not draw too much attention to herself. She has a good grasp of her emotions and can keep calm when under pressure, but risks coming across as aloof or bland. She is easy going and adaptable to most situations and plans. Sensible and mature, she prefers to analyze a situation before acting.

Backstory: Chailai's family never had a lot of money to spare, but she made it a personal goal to never let this stop her. From a young age she had a knack for understanding other languages, and with a little encouragement from her friends and family, she grew this talent into a real skill.

In school and on her free time she learned English and Mandarin, along with a bit of Korean and Spanish.

Such a talent for linguistics opened many doors of opportunity, especially in the frontier of the internet. In her high-school years, Chai and her friend tried their hand at becoming famous online. Her friend would sing, while Chai would play the piano and provide translation. The two had a lot of fun, and while Chai could not sing very well, she wrote songs for her friend. The two had minimal amount of attention, and and made music mostly for fun. At least until one of their songs became a hit.

Things should have worked out, but instead the two fought over the money. In the end they split up, but Chai ended up with the short end of the stick. Her friend got a singing contract in Korea, while Chai was mostly forgotten.

In the aftermath, Chai did her best to earn enough money for legal fees and the remainder of her college. She took up multiple jobs, trying to apply for employment outside of the country. That's when she found the ad for translator staff at Discovery.
